The best restaurants serving British food in England

Tonight we had a night out with my colleges finally and we were so happy going out after 12 hours shift. We were about qp of us and met just after 8 pm (after shift) one of my colleagues haven't had a chance to grab some food and got 2 glass of cider at the pub when she suddenly felt sick and gone to the toilet to easy herself up. We were all cool and enjoying our night without being loud or making any issues. When my colleague came back from the toilet the pub manager came to us and loudly told my colleague off and to go home immediately. Honestly I felt so bad and didn't really get why someone needs to go home after throwing up IN THE TOILET. Tryed to talk to the manager lady but she kept telling her to leave. Myself I didn't feel all this act was right and felt that I don't wanna go back anymore because if u feel sick they just chuck you out without even asking you if you are ok.. I'm really disappointed!!!! We are in the pub drinking their drinks and once u get sick you have to leave?? What kind of treatment is it?? We have been to the pub many times but never had this treatment and also have to meantion we left lots of many there drinking.. Truly disappointed! To the lady who is the 'pub manager' would like to ask to be more human next time and stop acting inasent.. I believe this place used to have an other management team but after renovating things has changed.. WRONG DECISION!

Experiencia horrible. Café regular en una taza pero sin platillo - tampoco cuchara de té - agitadores de madera solamente. Salió de una máquina de pulsadores. Cálido y deshonesto. Pedí pescado con papas fritas. Tampoco cocinado en una freidora de grasa - horno o microondas. Pescado seco. Pedí vinagre... bolsita imposible de abrir. Le pedí ayuda al personal. ¡Trajo otros sobres pero no pudo abrir ninguno! El personal era educado, pero la comida y bebida totalmente basura. ¡Realmente pensarías que M&S podría hacerlo mejor que esto!

This cafe is brilliant and the woman who's from originally from London behind the till is so friendly and polite. The breakfast was fantastic and the pancakes were equally as fantastic I cant wait to come back next time we are down here on holiday... Thank you for a lovely service.

Usually I buy king fish here but they have other fishes like pomfrets,shark,emperor fish. They always clean the fish and usually place is not busy.

Visted here a few times this year and love the oldy woldy café. The menu has a good selection at great prices. A Lovely place to stop and have light refreshment. You can only pay via cash not card.

Clearly closed down - no notice on the entrance though?!?

Go atleast 2 times a month, on are own or with the kids never had a problem been going for over a year now and can't fault the staff the food or the prices. Lovely cafe great choice too. Cakes are amazing!!!

Terrible service. No gluten free chips. No leaway I wanted vegetarian breakfast as it’s gluten free. Can’t do after 11:30 but have nothing else to substitute

Larguísima cola para que las máquinas la pidan. Se habían quedado sin sándwiches para niños y sin ciertas bebidas, pero solo te enteraste una vez que intentaste ordenar y el artículo se desvaneció ligeramente. Seguramente la persona que gestiona la cola podría habernos avisado ya que fue una larga espera para que los niños pequeños no obtuvieran lo que les gustaría. La papa de la chaqueta era pequeña pero con un lado de col encantador. No se molestará en volver, ni siquiera sin los niños.

1st visit since it reopened. Great atmosphere and good menu, but expensive. 2 coffees - 1 decaffeinated, £3.00 each, but the Decaf was half the size of the regular coffee.

The cafe team were struggling to meet demands, you could see they were trying hard. Breakfast was ok. Like the refillable drinks. Ok for a cheap breakfast.

Pedí dos desayunos. La comida estaba caliente en el mejor de los casos! Los hashbrowns eran duros y fríos. Realmente no es una experiencia agradable en absoluto he estado allí muchas veces, pero esto no era en absoluto lo que esperábamos. Los granos horneados estaban tibios y si no hubiera ido a trabajar me habría quejado en el café. No voy a ir allí de nuevo

We visited the main restaurant while visiting Bridgemere. We settled on a cheese scone and a coffeee each. What a mistake!!! The scones, costing £2.75 each, were probably the worst scones we had ever come across. They were hard, crumbled in many fragments when cut and were extremely dry and unpleasnt to eat. This experience has put us off ever eating a scone ever again.
