The atmosphere at Crowded House Restaurant in Bury is absolutely wonderful. The interior design is modern and tasteful, creating a cozy yet elegant vibe that makes it a fantastic spot to unwind. The decor strikes a perfect balance between contemporary and inviting, and it’s clear that a lot of thought has been put into the details. The seating is well-spaced and comfortable, allowing you to relax and enjoy your time without feeling cramped, even when the restaurant is busy. The lighting is warm and soothing, which adds to the relaxing ambiance and makes it an ideal place for catching up with friends, celebrating a special occasion, or simply enjoying a quiet meal with loved ones. As for the food, it was decent with a reasonable variety on the menu. While it didn’t particularly stand out as exceptional, it was still enjoyable and complemented the overall experience. The presentation of the dishes was neat and visually appealing, which shows the effort put into the dining experience. What truly makes this place worth visiting is the environment. From the decor to the seating arrangements, it’s evident that the restaurant prioritizes customer comfort and a great atmosphere. Whether you’re stopping by for a meal or just drinks, it’s a spot I’d recommend if you appreciate good vibes, a cozy setting, and a welcoming atmosphere.

We found this cafe after looking at a job in Stafford. On first seeing the name, I thought it would be a basic “soup kitchen” with not much choice. How wrong I was. On entering we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who showed us to our table. The waitresses were all traditionally dressed in black with white aprons. The menu had plenty of different choices including plenty of vegetarian options. We had the crispy potato skins with mushrooms and cheese, delicious with plenty of cheese. I had the vegetarian flan with proper chips and salad, two had the cheese and mushroom omelette with chips and beans and the other had jacket potato with bacon and cheese. It was all well presented and plenty of it. We decided to have a look at the dessert menu and were not disappointed. I had the fruit scone which was proper homemade and a decent size, the others had cheesecake, treacle tart with custard and lemon meringue pie, they said it was the best meringue they’d had, crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle, not dry. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The place was very busy for a Tuesday lunchtime with a mixture of old, young and families. I would recommend this place and would return if we come back to Stafford.

A little gem! Myself and family enjoyed breakfast here while visiting the area for an event. I am vegan and had the Vegan breakfast. This breakfast had no "fake" meats which was extremely refreshing. Everything was cooked and prepared to perfection and it was the most delicious vegan breakfast I've ever had! The rest of my family loved their meals too - and all noted how perfectly the eggs were cooked. Highly recommend! No photos as we ate it all so quickly.

Visited this pub last Sunday for my Dads 98th birthday. There were 17 of us. Some had the beautiful Sunday roast and some ordered off the menu. All the food came out at the same time and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The place was really busy so if you fancy a lovely meal, with superb hospitality I would suggest you visit this place. We will be returning very soon.
