Good service and all day breakfast

I have breakfast there every Sunday. The owner of the place is a perfectionist, and cares deeply about hygiene. My favourite dishes are all those with poached eggs in them! The music is always classy. I even took my vegan guests there, and they were able to find a vegan breakfast option in the menu.

The Chicken burger was dry, unseasoned and completely lacking any flavour, this is acceptable for a £3 burger but not a burger that costs £9.50 such a premium price tag for a poor quality product.. Better off buying a rustler burger from the convenience shop across the road not impressed.

What a great little find. We had brunch in there on Sunday afternoon , very busy which is good sign, pleasent and professional staff, clean and tidy, lovely food, and lots of variety. Really enjoyed the food.

Fantastic people amazing brakefast 10/10

Food was of average quality but seemed steepily priced for what you got. Staff didn't seem to have an interest in actually speaking to you and just were getting their job done so the atmosphere wasn't really welcoming.

The food was very nice, the staff were lovely but the owner was obviously saving money on heating as the place was freezing. Diners everywhere still wearing there outdoor coats.

Our favourite breakfast place in the town! Extensive menu, Elvis songs and a warm ambiance… What more could one ask for in a Saturday morning? ❤️

My Partner and I came here for brunch recently. Nice clean dining area and staff warm and welcoming. Let me tell you, this is the best English breakfast I have ever tasted! The eggs are so fresh, the meat is of the highest quality, the halloumi, the whole plate was cleaned within minutes. This place is an absolute gem and I highly recommend coming here for your food if you fancy a world class brunch. Also the 50’s and 60’s playlist with Elvis and Chuck berry in the background only added to the experience! Will be back. - Conor and Izzy

Value 5 stars! Had a bacon brie and cranberry panini which was very nice. Atmosphere 4 stars because the place was full of Asian students and I saw a couple spit on the floor. Not the fault of the restaurant but an honest review

Came here with the family. The cafe was completely empty and the waitress still put us by the freezing cold door that when people did start to arrive we were cold. I ended up sitting with my coat on. Food was ok it’s basic cafe food and reasonably priced. Menu is confusing as breakfast says they come with toast and when I questioned it they said no that’s extra.

Good value of food. Also it's a nice place to work with laptops.

I have visited Olives before so know what a great cafe it is. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the various has traditional breakfasts as well vegetarian and healthy ones. Always nicely presented with extra free coffee and good value.

A very popular cafe with a great menu and very affordable dishes, Run by very friendly staff, and served very quickly, it's a really good place to set yourself up for the rest of the day with a big breakfast, Not just full English either, as they do other dishes like avocado on toast with eggs, Turkish inspired breakfast etc, A top notch cafe.

I can't recommend them enough! I go regularly with a large group of friends and they always accommodate us. One is celiac and a few are vegetarian, all catered for with no problems. Great food, reasonable prices and good service.

Came here for breakfast on a Sunday. They have a very wide variety of breakfast options, many of which healthy and a little different. Good coffee and good value for money.

Went to the Gym and needed a decent breakfast. Glad I looked on Google as it had a 4.7. Nice and busy when we got there, coffee was very tasty, so all looking good so far. Menu is big, so much choice. I went with the Olive Breakfast and did my one free swap. Yummy in my tummy. Everything was cooked perfect. This will become my new place to go for a good breakfast.

Olive's was well worth a visit. The service was friendly and welcoming and I was quickly down to my seat. It's a nice menu, with the possibility of making up your own fried breakfast from a list of ingredients. Lovely cup of tea. My breakfast was well-cooked and tasty. Recommended

Olive Cafe found in googlemaps as "breakfast bar" close to accomodation, during "men's weekend" spent with 2 sons (6 and 13 y.o.) in Bournemouth 20 mi from Bovington Tank Museum. Olive Cafe offers: simply composed and well presented menu, good balanced prices and very friendly and helpful owner and staff, very very delicious meals, tea and coffee. Surely will get back soon :-). P.S. if I ask sons, what was best during our visit to UK, just hear the answer "delicious breakfasts".

Busy cafe on a Saturday morning. I sat outside and greeted by friendly waitress. I ordered poached eggs with avocado and smoked salmon. Presented nicely although salmon wasn’t pink and looked rather dull. Eggs perfectly cooked but not much avocado which was thinly spread. At £11 this didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

I was staying nearby and saw an online recommendation for this Cafe. It lived up to the reviews with ease. I was greeted by a very welcoming, polite young lady who seated me straight away. The food and service was brilliant and I will be sure to call when visiting Bournemouth again. Well done to the people that run the cafe- keep it up!

Lovely cafe, fab breakfast, lots of choice on the menu. I had the salmon, avocado and poached egg on toast, which was delicious. It was very busy when we got there (at around 10am on a Saturday morning, one of the hottest days of the year) but we managed to find a table. Service was a little slow but understandably so as it was so busy, the waiting staff were lovely and attentive . Definitely recommend!!

Really great breakfast. We had the vegetarian and vegan breakfast option, it was a huge portion and very fresh. Coffee was good for the price.

A local gem close to Bournemouth sea-front. We were passing by at brunch time and decided to drop in, whilst it has a ‘simple’ look to it, this cafe offers superb customer service making you feel catered for, prices are very reasonable for portions & quality e.g. eggs royale for £8.95. Plenty of seating space, with some outside tables too.

I am so disappointed with this place. The reviews looked good and it was busy when we arrived. Feeling hopeful we ordered, Turkish eggs for myself and my wife, and eggs hollandaise and a cooked breakfast for my children. The Turkish eggs were a joke. Two tiny poached eggs, a dollop of unseasoned cheap yoghurt and one slice of cheap sliced white bread. The chilli oil was lacking any chilli whatsoever. £8 for this? The eggs in the hollandaise were practically raw. The one positive was the waitress who immediately apologised and offered me something else, but why would I want more poor food? I really don’t understand the reviews this place has, unless they are all related to the cooked breakfast which was good?

Nice place for a coffee and meal

Nearly 13 pound for 2 sandwiches to take out.. I had bacon sausage and mushrooms they forgot the brown sauce. Also a bacon mushroom and tomato sandwich. They just sliced some tomato and put that on never had that happen in a cafe before its always tinned or fried tomato on a breakfast or sandwich. The bacon and mushrooms were nice but it was really cheap thin sliced bread. Disappointed.

Seht leckeres und Günstiges Frühstück Wir konnten mit drei Personen ohne Reservierung essen. Das Essen kam sehr schnell, war frisch zubereitet und sehr Lecker. Ebenfalls gab es eine grosse Auswahl also ist auch für jeden etwas dabei. Ich würde es jedem weiterempfehlen und selber auch selber wieder hingehen.

Sehr gutes Frühstücksrestaurant. Die Auswahl ist super, der Preis ist gut. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Outstanding breakfast! We generally stop in the Premier Inn, when visiting Bournemouth but we always walk the 5 minutes to this cafe for breakfast. The food is so much better. The poached eggs with avocado and smoked salmon is mouth watering.

I had traditional English breakfast there today with some coffee after a long and hard week on my day off. Everything was perfect, waitress ladies were very kind, food arrived quickly and it was delicious. I will return soon.

Food was good, but not exceptional. It tasted fresh and produce were good. Had the eggs benedict and for me it was a bit of a small portion. Eggs florentine looked better. Service was okay, but we were forgotten when we asked for the bill. Still a good place if you want to grab a quick meal

I wanted the portions larger based on the prices. Some dishes were extremely small. The toast was just classic bread slices bought from the supermarket and not fresh bread but that may not be an issue for everyone. Other than that, great coffee and great brunch. Having iced coffees is a big plus with the current temperatures. The variety and choices were broad. I also noticed the people preparing the food touched it a lot but I saw no gloves. The location is good, very close to the city centre, 15' minutes from the beach and many parking venues nearby.
