Fantastic refined food, interesting and varied menu and really great friendly service as always. Highly recommended.

Just tried out the new nibbles and tapas menu. Wow! We had Garlic Bread, Goats Cheese, Halloumi Fries, Salmon Fish cake, lamb fritters. The flavours were amazing! Ok not the cheapest and not the quickest, and that’s because good food costs, and fresh food needs to be cooked. Amazing menu, amazing tastes.

Mother’s Day family meal - absolutely delicious food and I highly recommend this independent bistro in Southport. The place is a credit to the family who own & run this restaurant.

For excellent service, friendly staff and superb food, The Office is the only place to go in Southport. This place isn’t a steak house, but they cooked, presented and served our Chateaubriand to perfection, show casing the chef’s care and expertise. The accompaniments were sublime, again cooked perfectly with amazingly light tempura batter on the onion rings and cauliflower. Absolutely delighted with the experience, including the professional and welcoming waiting staff - big shout out to Jerry and Lucy for their concern that the meal was outstanding.

We visited this place on Wednesday evening...place pretty much full-great sign.. Lots of choices on the menu,we couldnt decide what to choose as everything looked good.We had 3 pates and one whipped goats cheese-well all tasted delish and we werent dissapoitment.Our mains were also good and defo worth the money.We also picked desserts and again-lovely presentation and taste amazing. Good value for 3 courses...thank you for out lovely dinner-we will br defo back!

Disappointed to be fair, lunch menu but avoid the salt an pepper chicken dish it’s literally swimming in oil, and the chicken it like reheated an soggy with grease not pleasent, eaten many times and been good but not this time the burger also with blue cheese is not nice blue cheese it’s far to overpowering it needs a change up, shame really was looking forward to it and left unhappy. Choose wisely if go.

Been with four friends today for lunch. The food was excellent - 2 Courses for £20.00 good choice of menu. We had main and dessert both excellent value. All served by very pleasant and happy staff. Highly recommend. We will definitely be going back.

This is the best restaurant in Southport town centre- excellent quality ingredients, freshly prepared, appealing menu choices and fabulous service - I absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal and did I mention great value for money.

Fantastic place with amazing food and staff. Catered to both our requests as both had intolerances and allergies. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. (Went with the 2 course options on a week day). Will definitely be returning! Thank you for a wonderful evening ☺️

Fabulous food and excellent service. Had a table of 12 for a family get together. All the food came together and was well presented. The scraggly were very friendly and worked really hard. Thanks for sorting out taxis too. Highly recommend this restaurant. It was very busy with a good vibe.

One of the best meals we have all had. We all had different starters and mains and a couple of amazing deserts. The service was first class as well. Highly recommend and we will be back.

A fantastic evening with amazing food and great service, warm and friendly welcome from the very first moment we stepped foot into the establishment, staff were so helpful and knowledgeable, food was top notch, fresh, tasty and delicious, lots of different types of cuisine to choose from and really great local produce used, the atmosphere was in here was so good, the cocktails were absolutely fabulous, we really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back again!

We came on New Years Eve and had an absolutely fantastic meal. The servers were so friendly and food was exceptional. They even accommodated some of the party ordering tapas despite it being new years Eve. Lovely atmosphere, would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Exceptional food, great atmosphere, fantastic service... what more could you want? I was also lucky enough to meet Lee, the head chef and owner, a real gentleman which is clearly reflected in his excellent staff. It was an absolute pleasure to dine here.

Went last night when extremely busy with Christmas parties . Shown to a nice cosy booth . Christmas menu and specials on offer . Three courses for £30 . Plenty to choose from and everything we had was delicious. Service was excellent despite being so busy A very enjoyable evening

Excellent meal and service for our party of 62 people. There were also other people having lunch there, so the staff did really well to serve us all at the same time. My meal was hot and delicious.

Booked The Office for lunch on the strength of its Trip Advisor rating on a swift visit to Southport. The food and service were excellent and very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.

A thoroughly enjoyable meal at The Office Bar and Restaurant. Very comfortable seating area (for 6 of us) which meant we could see each other and chat away while waiting for our meals. Great choice on menu and every one of us was delighted with our food. Attentive staff and Lucy, in particular was very friendly and helpful. Toilets clean and bright which I think is very important especially in a restaurant (and sadly not always the case). We were all so happy with our experience in The Office Bar and Restaurant we went back again the next night! Need I say more? We were on a short break from Scotland or I am sure this would become one of our regular haunts. Thanks to The Office Bar and Restaurant for a delightful and enjoyable experience.

Cooking has improved. Used to be very regular here but not that impressed the last few times so didn't go back for a while. However the choices and general quality have gone up and so happy to go back again... really good choices and definitely restaurant quality. Response to owner: Maybe the choices are what the difference is. My last visit really felt different, we are coming to you very soon so it will be interesting!

Had dinner here at highchair hour with our family and 13 month old and it was fabulous. The staff were very helpful with GF options and went out of their way to tell me what items were coeliac safe including a delicious soup, halloumi fries, and scrumptious brûlée with crumble. This is a restaurant we hadn’t visited for several years. We went on Saturday evening and the Office was busy. Staff were welcoming and we were shown to a pleasant area towards the back of the restaurant. The atmosphere was lively. People were obviously happy to be there Our understanding of the menu was supported by knowledgeable staff. We noted two and three course options on the menu which we thought to be good value The food was excellent and staff were attentive throughout. The visit was very enjoyable and we will certainly return.

What a fabulous family owned restaurant this is!My friend and I have dined here for the last two nights and are back tomorrow. The food is amazing.Good size portions and reasonably priced. The Chef obviously takes huge pride in what he sends out from the kitchen.My rump of lamb I ate this evening was cooked to perfection and the malted milk brulee was sublime. Desserts are to die for especially their "trio of desserts". The staff are all so friendly ,pleasant and efficient. Special thanks to Charlotte and Poppy who have looked after us so well and are a credit to their job. There is a lovely cocktail bar within the restaurant,perfect for a pre dinner drink. If you're looking for first class food served with a smile then look no further.The Office has been a pleasure to visit. Thanks everyone!

Eight family members had a really lovely meal here on Saturday night. We do not know the area and did not know this restaurant but if we go to Southport again, we will make a beeline for it! The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! There was a pleasant, warm atmosphere. We all concluded it was one of the best meals we had had in a long time. Fantastic!

Never had a bad meal here, plus the price of the food is really good. Whether or not its in the bar or the restaurant the staff are helpful and engaging. I'm always cautious of recommending pubs or restaurants to eat as they often are hit and miss but the Office over the years has proven to be a safe recommendation.

Tucked down a back street, next to the Masons Arms a great find. Well prepared food at good prices and exceptional service.

Drinks arrived promptly. Staff friendly and happy to discuss the menu. Dined with two other couples and we all agreed the food was lovely. Staff kept the drinks flowing. Shared a trio pudding see picture. Thought the price was really good value.

Rarely go into town these days but this was really lovely last night. Started with a cheeky cocktail in bar before going into restaurant. Good varied menu and the food was delicious and not overly expensive but the raspberry daiquiris were exceptional . I will be back with my girlfriends who enjoy cocktails as much as I do! Minor point but the tables by window are a bit too brightly lit and it’s chilly there at the moment.

To celebrate my wife's 70th birthday me, our two sons and our daughter bokked the Office. We all enjoyed our 3 courses which were fantastic. The wine was good and the service was friendly and not intrusive. Just a really great dinner. Thanks to the staff, especially the chefs.

went there xmas eve lunch (we had booked table for 2) was taken to a table with a long back seat and inbetween table of 4 and table of 8 and quite close, before we sat down we asked the man if we could sit at one of the other tables for 2 which there were many but he just said .. No im not messing up my table plan. I must say we were really taken back and looked at each other like .. did he really say that. When we left no one had come to sit in the other tables for 2. If he had said oh sorry i cant but he just said NO. good job the food was excellent but he left a bitter taste and needs a talking to.
