Went to see the Legend that is Tania Power, and she is every bit as magical and brilliant as I've been told xx. Other than that, the atmosphere was lovely and service very approachable and friendly xxx

Quite possibly the best food and drinks in Crosby! The is beyond exceptional with a great menu with plenty of variety preped and executed with absolute perfection! Cosy atmosphere with friendly staff what make you feel like family

Went yesterday and ordered a club sandwich the chicken was chicken tikka

Baby shower in upstairs function room was excellent. Room was perfect for small gatherings and the afternoon tea was delicious. Would definitely recommend!

Just popped in as we were walking past in the Pouring rain.. Decided to stay and have something to eat great food , lovley warm coffee onanother wet Monday. Thanks great lunch for 2 pizza and fries. You can't ask for more .thanks guys.

My partner ordered the beef brisket toastie but they were out of brisket so she had the proper toastie which was ham and cheese with proper pulled ham. Both meals were really nice. We both had a drink each and the bill was £28 would defo return. They also do wine tasting days as well which sound really good will return for one of these.

Had a superb Full English here. The place is supplied by local vendors and all of the ingredients were spot on and cooked perfectly. Really nice cup of cappuccino as well. Friendly staff, really busy and lively atmosphere. Absolutely recommend this place. Will definitely be coming back for the black pudding alone.

We would normally go to rock salt and sit in but the wife wasn’t well so we decided to order in, it was just as tasty and as hot as it would be in the restaurant would recommend

Superb food, lovely service, new favourite brekkie place. Food was fresh & hot, didn’t wait long & staff worked hard to accommodate all walk ins.

So Disappointed with order Gyros was a huge wrap with 3 tiny slices if chicken on, that looked like prepacked chicken. Bread was falling apart with salad on the turn. As for the fries it wasn't mint sauce it was a very overpowering garlic. Fries were overcooked and topped with peppers that weren't fresh could clearly see they were pre cut frozen onces. Very disappointed and certainly won't be ordering again.

We went as a family and ordered starters and mains. Waited a while then waitress came out and said we should have been told it was a tapas style restaurant so to expect things when they were ready. Some of us had eaten starters and mains, some had not eaten anything. Was also told they were busy with just eat orders and they were prioritising them when we were in the empty restaurant. Food was greasy and disappointing.

Food was of good quality and enjoyed by all.

Gyros were very nice but only 3 small pieces of chicken in them let them down a bit. Salt n pepper haloumi loaded fries nice in small amounts but we're just wayyyy too salty to eat more than a handful. Overall nice enough to maybe give here another try some time and try some other things

Not the restaurants fault purely just eat, my order didn’t arrive until an hour and a half later than its predicted time due to no drivers.

I can’t believe I have never been here before it’s a little gem. Delicious food and great service. The quality of the ingredients and the Stornaway black pudding really made the breakfast. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Rock Salt is a great local spot on a main road through Crosby. Offering varied food, coffees and drinks, it has something for everyone. It does get busy, so bear this in mind, especially if visiting at the weekend. The food was good but nothing spectacular. Everything was priced reasonably, although it was a bit much to pay £2 extra for a single fried egg on top of the "proper toastie", which was literally just placed on top with minimal presentation (and it was green, although the staff explained this was because it was from grass fed / organic chickens). Some items are definitely better than others, as my wife LOVES the chip butty. The coffee tasted good, but the latte art was severely lacking (see photo). Staff are very friendly, highchairs are available, and there's parking on the street outside (though it's difficult to get). The decor is really nice and and it's a lovely place to be.

Brought my 2 daughters and wife here for breakfast. Service was excellent. Food arrived promptly and was delicious, clean plates all round! I had the full breakfast and was lovely the highlight being the black pudding the best I think I’ve ever tasted! Highly recommend

Lovely addition to local places to eat, drink, relax and meet up with friends.

We had a retirement party in the function room .Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the evening.The food was delicious and boxes were provided to take away so there was no wastage .The staff member ,Rose , went above an beyond to look after us .We were very impressed with everything. Thank you

Me and my mum come here constantly. We love it. I normally get the chip butty which is my fave but last time I got the chicken Caesar salad and I’m obsessed. The ice lattes are fabulous and the staff are great as always. Such a nice place to eat/drink clean and modern. Definitely recommend. It is more of a bar/lunch

We been here twice because first time we liked the pizza and the service, we came today for the same pizza and it was delicious as expected, the guys that work there are very nice and attentive and also the bartender lady. We will be back for sure, it has a nice vibe when it's a sunny day, they have tables outside and where you can relax and enjoy a drink in peace

On Saturday 8 th April we held a gender reveal here . Where do I start, well I cannot give the staff enough praise . They went above and beyond to make our day so special. Gabby and rose are amazing , suer friendly and helpful beyond belief. The food was exceptional as was the service. The place itself is so clean, modern and a great atmosphere . Can’t wait for our next celebration as we will be having it once again here without a shadow of a doubt. Thanks guys for a wonderful day.

My wife and i held our 40th wedding anniversary celebration with our family and friends on saturday 28th January 2023 in the function.The staff couldn't do enough for us on the night we ordered the cold buffet and the food was amazing .My wife has cealioc and they provided a gluten free choice of food for her served separately .would highly recommend Rock Salt and the function room for any occasion

Went there for the first time two Monday lunch times ago as walk in customers, got a table straight away and was made really welcome. The place was spotless clean and the food lovely and fresh and a pickie eater. Hoping to go there tomorrow about 2 for lunch after i have finished at the hairdressers. Go treat yourself. My husband and I had the meaty version of the Eggs Benedict today, which had a very tasty home made patty, crispy black pudding, perfectly poached eggs and a lovely hollandaise sauce. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in, the service was excellent, and the food brilliant. It was our first time there and it won't be the last. Well done to all the gang at Rock Salt, thank you and keep up the good work.

Yet another gem in Crosby. Beware the portions are huge, you will not leave hungry. Choice could be wider but they are good at what they do. I can't recommend any particular item as tastes vary but we enjoyed it all. The staff are superb. Really friendly.

The young boy up stairs that waited on our christening party was excellent. The food was excellent, apart from the paella which the rice was not cooked enough.

Me and my partner are big fans of Rock Salt, every meal we have had has always been delicious! My particular favourite is the chip butty, my partner is partial to the steak sandwich but honestly there is no bad choices on the menu! The halloumi fries are also something special! Pay Rock Salt a visit you won't regret it!

Staff always have a friendly smile and are very efficient. Food is made with great quality ingredients and is exceptionally good value.

Went with the husband Thursday 18th August . Quite busy but fortunately seated immediately. Both went for the full breakfast. Good quality produce cooked really well. Our drinks of choice where piping hot and staff were friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend and we'll be back!

Love this place, we go often. Staff are so so friendly and food is always spot on, locally sourced and completely fresh, menu caters fir vegan and vegetarian. Today was just myself and my daughter but when we take the kids it is never a problem, always welcomed..

High quality English breakfast, and a smooth queue up system on the busy day, you can read the menu, and have a coffee on the sofa and have your table ready for food, it is very customer friendly service and highly recommended!

Rock salt... OK so not often I give a food place 5 stars, firstly this place opens at 9am, get there handy its very popular and you may have to wait, but we'll worth it! Great service from lovley staff, the food is all top quality we had the full breakfast and it was delicious! rare to be served a breakfast with piccolo tomatoes. would 100 percent recommend this place if you like good food. They also have a function room upstairs. We will be back thank you 😎

I’ve been visiting this place for a long time now and it’s my favourite in Crosby. It’s the best place for brunch, the brunch menu is amazing and it’s hard to choose what to have. The evening menu with the pizzas is just as good (the blue cow and the goat are *chefs kiss* ). The cocktails are out of this world and the staff who work there are all amazing. In addition to all this, I’ve been to a wine tasting which blew me away. The food was out of this world, the wines were perfect and the whole evening was hosted by the lovely Vincent and Jack. They also do comedy nights and movie nights so I can’t wait to try those.

Went here tonight before going for a meal. Drinks and staff were amazing. Will definitely come back!

Visited Rock Salt this morning to have breakfast with a friend. It was busy so we were asked to wait for a table on the couches and we were brought coffee while we waited. Wow it was worth the wait. I had a break burrito...

Visited mid week. Food was great. Nice to find somewhere rather foes good lunch options and not massive evening type meals. Soup was great - pea and ham woth loads of ham and flavour. We had a pram but they managed to squeeze us in....

Awful service. Waited at the bar to be seated for 10 minutes before the only seemingly happy bartender offered us a drink! Staff didn’t seem to care we were even there. Met with snotty glances and staff walking round the venue texting on their phones! Finally sat down to order food, food came and tasted nice but was sat with empty drinks for the entirety of the meal without offer from waitress for a new beverage. Disgusting service food was slammed down in front of us as was the bill from the girl waitress who couldn’t get away from us quick enough and was on her phone. Very very disappointed with our experience, I’ve never wrote a review in my life but was so upset after our encounter. Will NOT be returning to Rocksalt ever again.

Went here this morning with my sister. I had the Poached eggs with Avocado and she had Eggs Florentine. Both were delicious and very filling. Lovely pot of tea each and very reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and served promptly. Spotlessly clean too. Will definately return.

Very disappointing Both mine and my friends dishes were frankly awful, one had to be sent back because it was so overcooked she couldn't cut it with her knife My toastie wasnt 'toasted' - almost no cheese in it basics - such as the chips - these were barely warm, soggy and soaking in oil On that basis I would not recommend this place. Won't be returning
