Cannot fault Atelier at all. We went here after reading the reviews on line, and I am so glad we did. I would recommend you book in if you definitely want a table. One the first visit we all had a different flavored pie and they were all delicious. It was nice not to get the normal chips/mash on the side and instead it was served with salad and pickles. You left feeling full but not stuffed. There was a good choice of beers and wines available and these weren't very expensive either in comparison to a lot of restaurants. Service was spot on. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

We went to the Seafood night and the food was first class. A starter of monkfish wrapped in panchetta in a lovely light sauce was sheer heaven. Mains of Hake with spicy stewed peppers and basil mash was also top notch. Wonderful! My husband finished with the apple and blackberry crumble whist I had a glass of port. A very good evening. Robert and Louise work hard to give their restaurant a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent .

Cosy place to have breakfast/brunch. Staff very friendly. Lots of fun meal options to pick from. My wife and I had the veggie breakfast + coffee which we enjoyed. Parked on a side street nearby for free.

Wonderful Sunday lunch, with great service and ambience. They even very kindly rustled up some final pieces of pork left from the day's roast to add to our delicious tartiflette. Thank you!

...looked at the menu this morning to get a breakfast, seems the menu has changed and the price has gone up (nearly double what they were). Was a nice option to have a nice reasonable priced vegetarian breakfast before. All previous experiences were great, reasonably priced, good quality food.

Very good culinary experience and pleasant and efficient service. This was our first time at Ardtara, an interesting old country house in wooded grounds. Our only criticism would be that some of the decor was slightly tired.
