Quince in Plymouth

Fabulous restaurant. The food and service out of this world, We ordered plates to share and the duck was so good (melted in the mouth) we ordered it again! Booked in for Sunday lunch next week and can’t wait to go back. Best meal I have had in a long while,

Amazing! Everything from beginning to end was spectacular, the service from Kez was outstanding, the food was incredible (probably the best food i’ve had in Plymouth)! You will not be disappointed.

Lovely food, friendly waitress (Kez)- she was great! Prosecco was nice and food delicious. Probably a place for special occasions or to impress a date as the small plates are more on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for! I would recommend Quince and, though the food is all freshly cooked to order (to promote zero waste) and so can take a moment to come out, it's worth the wait and the ambience is so nice it's just lovely to take your time here, time to enjoy each others company, very European! Thanks Quince for a lovely evening, we'll be back soon!

This is the second time that I have been to this restaurant - first time with a friend and 2nd time with spouse and I will definitely return. The food is second to none and very filling. Only disappointment both times was it was nearly empty - hope people find this restaurant soon

Our first time of dining at Quince but it won’t be our last. We enjoyed all of our food choices, thank you to Dave, it was all very tasty. The service from Kes was absolutely brilliant!

An excellent Sunday roast, and exceptional al value for money. The meats were perfectly done, the vegetables and presentation equally excellent. Service was attentive and helpful.

A new favourite food spot in Plymouth. Food was beautifully cooked and prepared by Dave and the service from Kez was second to none. The food is what you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant but at an affordable price. A must visit.

We had one of the best Sunday roast beef with delicious trimmings. The dessert was fantastic too. I would highly recommend you give this hidden gem a try.

Me and my partner have been meaning to try Quince for a while, he'd seen their posts on Instagram and wanted to give them a try but busy lives meant we hadn't been able to come until now, and we are so glad we did! The food was divine. Our favourite part was that for what we spent, we were able to try a lot of different dishes and flavours without committing to a massive portion. The tapas style of dishes works on a free flow basis, where dishes come out as they're ready, and this works incredibly well! The portion sizes aren't too big but are enough to share if you get a few. We ordered a lot as we were very keen to try the menu, and our favourites were the sourdough, the sprouts and the roast chicken. In particular the flavours on the roasted sprouts was spectacular. Kez served us and she was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly friendly, witty and very personable. We enjoyed chatting with her and she recommended some dishes on the menu and educated us on portion sizes which was lovely. She really did elevate the experience, and we really loved her character, thank you! To summarise, Quince is criminally underrated! We will definitely be coming back and will be introducing some friends and colleagues. Thank you, and see you soon!

Absolutely lovely, a real treat. Each separate dish was delicious and the dessert was great too. The staff were welcoming, we really enjoyed the evening there.

First time here, a fairly new establishment I believe. Went in for Wed dinner, didn't realise there was a 'set' menu, ordered 3 'small' plates from the selection. Wow, absolutely blown away by the 2 fish plates, smoked haddock & hake. Chicken was also good, but if I had realised how 'not so small' the dishes were, I would have opted for the 3rd plate to be a pudding! Next time!! Getting back to the main items, locally sourced (I believe) good, fresh ingredients, well prepared and presented... and tasted really fab!!! Front of house not quite at the same level, a little bit light on beverage knowledge. Was not crazy about the rose I had, but hey ho, will try something different next time. It's all about the food and they have got this right! cannot wait to come back

Great service in this cosy restaurant. A great selection of dishes cooked and presented with excellence by an obviously talented chef. The fish dish of Hake I tried was possibly the best I have ever tasted.

Omg!! This restaurant is a must go!! The food was incredible, we went for Sunday lunch and had the beef and pork, the value fpr money was incredible and the food was so tasty. The Yorkshire were definitely homemade and the best I had tasted. The potatoes were incredible. Honestly this is the best Sunday roast I've had in a very long time. The waitress was new but she was attentive, friendly and really lovely. It had a lovely, calm and relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely recommend if your looking for a good roast. The wines and cocktails were amazing too!! You won't be disappointed!!
