We were lucky to arrive before the coaches did so more or less had the place to ourselves. Very good value for money. A single cheese melt in the high street would set you back £12, without a coffee. We went for the tea for two at the wool mill for £18. There was enough to feed 4 and the same with the coffee we chose. The staff are all kind and down to Earth. They provided us with a box that we could take the excess cakes we couldn't eat. It was the Christmas tea for two which included the turkey, stuffing and cranberry sandwiches. Too much cranberry for me so made the sandwiches a bit too much like jam sandwiches for me. This aside, I would recommend and will return. Was all good and well worth the money. Home made mince pies and scones were very good.

We had a wonderful lunch today, the food was fantastic, the service was excellent and the restaurant is an absolute delight - calm, beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

Visited today for a cream tea. Drinks served in dirty mugs, scones on polystyrene plates with one pot of jam and cream to share. Scone was like rubber. We only had one mouth and left. Disgraceful!!

Meal for two here for the first time at the weekend, the food was amazing. We had double burgers and they were cooked to perfection, extremely fresh and tasty burgers. Our sides were fantastic too with chips and onion rings, both were very well cooked and tasted amazing. Also, I tried a milkshake which was fantastic too. I am so glad we tried this place as it was brilliant and we can't wait to be back already.

I had an awful time. There was a puddle of random juice all over my chair. The beer was flatter than any beer I've ever had. If I had a choice I would rather eat out of their bin than from there rat infested kitchen. The place should be irradicated from our local area. I thought to go back again in hopes that I had misjudged the place, but this time was also a travesty. There was a fight between two patrons that ended up smashing a plate. The waiter tried to break it up, in doing so he was hit in the face. So he made the genius executive decision to join in the brawl. This place shouldn’t be called The Horse and Groom, it should be called the Horse of Doom.

I loved this place, lovely atmosphere, plentiful food at good value. The staff are really friendly and attentive and it's just everything you want for a great lunch

Be aware that they are now accepting Walk-ins on Mondays and Fridays, and are also serving soup. You still need to book for Thursday.

Lovely traditional pub friendly staff. We went on a Friday when it was fish or Pizza night. We had pizza and a fish burger all really good quality for the price we paid. Meal for 3 with drinks £70 I feel is good value would go back if in area.

Este pub solía tener tan buen ambiente, sin embargo, en esta ocasión un miembro del personal obviamente estaba creando un mal ambiente para todos los demás empleados. Sinceramente, me sorprendió su actitud. Entonces lo presenciamos hablando con la señora que estaba en la cocina de una manera muy desagradable Se sentó en el restaurante haciendo papeleo mientras los comensales a su alrededor necesitaban servicio Terminamos nuestra comida y ni una sola persona vino a preguntarnos si queríamos algo más. Movimos nuestros platos a la mesa de al lado y él todavía se sentó en la mesa de enfrente y ni siquiera se levantó y despejó platos o preguntó si queríamos desierto. Después de unos 10 minutos fuimos al bar para que los platos de la factura nunca se borraran de la mesa y tengo que decir que no volveré pronto, lo que es una pena, ya que este solía ser un pub tan encantador.

Positivos: excelente ubicación en la frontera de Kilburn / Maida Vale, el personal muy agradable y servicial. Negativos: la comida tardó bastante en llegar y no era muy agradable, pero habíamos esperado tanto tiempo que lo comimos. Lo peor fueron las moscas - un montón de moscas diminutas (moscas de la fruta? ) volando alrededor aunque la ubicación en sí parece muy limpia. Aparentemente ha estado sucediendo durante un tiempo - realmente necesitan resolverlo, ya que este pub no estaba muy lleno... ... No regresaré.
