I went for lunch with my son this afternoon. becks was amazing she talked me through the allergens in the menu and made me feel comfortable ordering food with my allergies. Food was amazing 👏

I ordered the cheese toastie, which is described as "A medley of mature Cheddar, Gouda and Emmental, with béchamel sauce in a toasted farmhouse loaf". We all just burst out laughing when it arrived. It was two slices of cheap white bread crushed together...barely toasted and i was struggling to find any cheese. this bad boy cost £8. Well....avoid the food at all costs! Luckily the pub quiz and friendly staff saved the evening. But seriously....the food needs serious work.

Popped in for a quick drink before heading the grand. Super pub. Clean and friendly. The staff were amazing. Popped in after the show and again very friendly. Was extra impressed as a young lady fell and hurt herself. The pub cleaned up instantly and then proceed to help her in any way they could. Definitely worth a visit. We didn't eat, but I do wish we had as the food looked great.

Down the road, the nearby Falcon pub was crowded so we went to The Junction which only had a few customers. We soon found out why. The gents toilet was flooded and the problem never seemed to get solved. The main IPA on tap wasn't served because the barrel had run out and nobody went to change it. Glasses piled up unwashed and then the bar staff began using plastic glasses instead of cleaning what had been used. The attitude of one little guy behind the bar was just awful - practically snarling at us. I tried to be friendly and polite but he wasn't having it. The beer tasted weird and must suspect the pipes aren't kept clean. It just felt like a pub heading for closure and giving up by degrees. We decided to never return.

Visited the Junction Pub and was very impressed. The staff all seemed very friendly and happy which is always a good sign of a well run pub. A nice garden at the back. I hear it is going to have a refurbishment shortly. Highly recommended. Perfect location right by Clapham Junction Train Station.

I had the best time, the bar staff Emma, Kyle and Amy were the highlight. They were amazing, felt us feel welcome and treated us like we were regulars which is a rarity. They are the best team I’ve encountered in the UK

This was our fisrt visit as we like to try new places. What a mistake! An hour after ordering my friends had finished eating and my food had not arrived. We attempted to cancel my order but we were told that "the manger does not allow this". They said that the food was "on the way". 10 minutes later they said that it would be there "in 6 minutes", obviously just about to start cooking it. I understand that things can go wrong occasionally and I sympathise with that. However, the staff gave the imprssion that they were not interested, to the extent of lying that the food was on the way. I cannot rate the food as we left before it arrived, if, indeed, it did arrive and I can safely say that we will not return.

We stopped briefly, having to kill time between two visits during our stay in London. We only managed to finish our drinks, so our experience was short-lived. However, we had a chance of getting an idea of the vibe of this place as a nice local pub in Clapham Junction.

Came in for a little pit stop pint on the way home from work and was welcomed by Kyle and Emma, they were so friendly and even recommended me some nibbles. Will definitely be returning!

Horrendous experience and we were only there for one drink. The female behind the bar clearly shouldn't work anywhere near the public. I tried to write an email complaint to greene King but no contact email address. This is not a malicious review and is entirely honest and accurate. I wouldn't generally bother but the female member of staff was so rude to an elderly customer I didn't want to let it go. Learn some manners and if you don't want to work in hospitality there are plenty of other jobs out there.

Honestly, stayed out as not one of the best days I’ve had, suffered from abuse and ripping off before I met some of my friends in London. We went to a pub near Clapham junction called ‘the junction’. Despite not the most unoriginal pub this pub is absolutely great. Not only did the friends I met up with really enjoy the food but I found the prices fair and the staff were absolutely superb. They really made my day. The shift was expertly managed by Amy and her staff Hannah and ivan. All of them made me feel welcome and smile In their own way. They have fantastic personalities and would encourage people to come here for the brilliant atmosphere. I feel like pubs should be as much about the person that serves you as well as the beverage you consume. So yes this place is highly recommended.

Las patatas fritas eran agradables, los guisantes estaban bien, los aros de cebolla estaban bien, pero mi bistec medio raro, si no supiera mejor, pensaría que se había cocinado esa misma hora del almuerzo y recalentado. Apenas caliente, en un plato frío. No es muy agradable en absoluto. Debería haber tenido el huevo de jamón y papas fritas que tenía mi esposa. Llegó aquí mientras estábamos esperando unos amigos. No es realmente un ambiente agradable, personal amable que nos metimos charlando con y las bebidas estaban mal que de precio, teniendo en cuenta la zona.

Un amigo y yo tenía unos tranquilo cuantas botellas de nuestro adorado Erdinger weissbier bien fría en Viernes 13 de abril. Nos como siempre educado y amable como es nuestra naturaleza, sin embargo, esta señora decidió que eran demasiado borrachos! . No estábamos borrachos. tenía quizás 4 botellas, nos alegre y de buen humor. Su actitud era absolutamente repugnante. Ella necesita ser despedido! Yo he trabajado en bares y discotecas en Amsterdam y en toda Europa y nunca he visto una sobre-reation. Siento tener que decir que yo recomiendo caminar PASADO EL CRUCE. Nos las arreglamos para entrar en el Slug y lechuga, sin problemas, gran noche.

We had been up to the Emirates stadium and decided to avoid the hustle and bustle and get a train direct to Clapham Junction. We had a 30 minute wait for our Farnham train and had a short walk and found this pub. It was lovely and had a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and dealt with us straight away. We sat down in the front area and watched the match on the screen. While we sat drinking a beer I could not help but notice the wonderful meals that were being served to many visitors to the pub. They all seemed to be really enjoying the Sunday roasts and I wish we had more time to have eaten one ourselves. We enjoyed our short visit and if up this way again I would certainly stop off here for a longer visit.

The bar is a lovely long sprawling affair, meaning fruit machines and TVs don't overwhelm. There's an okay range of ales and the staff were nice enough.

I went to The Junction with my girlfriend yesterday and was very impressed by the food and selection of ales. But what made it special for us was the server Bozzi (?) who was very friendly and made us feel welcome and always had a lovely smile on her face. Very professional.

Went before a gig at The Grand. Had a couple of great pints-the ale was really decent.

Had a good first pint,but then as it got busier the staff struggled to keep up with demand, would go back, but would make sure nothing was on at the Grand first

Vine aquí con mi novio, hermano y hermano-en-ley después de un largo día en los estudios de Harry Potter. Por la variedad de comida y el hecho de que era razonable. También está justo al lado de la estación. Dos de nosotros nos vegetariano y no tuvimos problemas para conseguir algo de comer. Tuve el pescado rebozado y patatas fritas (vegetal) que era fresco halloumi y luz y no grasosa como a menudo te con comida frito. Lo único que puedo decir es que era bastante ruidoso, así que quizás no venga aquí si buscas una comida tranquila. Sin embargo, excelente ubicación, a un precio razonable y decente para comida de pub.

Almorcé hoy aquí. Perro caliente y hamburguesa decente, agradable bebidas en un limpio y bien ventilado, pub. Lo que realmente super, era que no estaban ocupados que tenía servicio de mesa del personal amable y eficiente. Está muy cerca de la estación, así que un práctico lugar para encontrarse.

We have visited in September one of the Saturday evening. Nice atmosphere and we liked the garden at the back, but strangely wasn't fish nor burger available. Staff was friendly and the place seemed clean.

Un amigo y yo tuvimos una hora o así libre en Clapham Junction mientras espera el tren junto a Brighton y queríamos algo para comer antes de dirigirnos a casa. Al salir de la estación, gire a la izquierda hacia la calle principal y este acogedor pub buscaba unos escalones a la izquierda. El menú era mostrando un razonable fuera selección de "Pub Grub" así que nos fuimos. La señorita detrás del bar, Daria, creo, era muy amable y atento y llevamos nuestras bebidas y pedir comida rápida y eficientemente. La comida se convirtió rápidamente y estaba bien, gambas y patatas fritas y pastel de carne con cerveza. a un precio razonable y mi amigo terminó su comida con un espresso martini y sirve, de nuevo, por Daria. En general, una experiencia muy agradable y un final agradable a nuestro día en Londres. Habíamos querido decir "gracias" a Daria antes de irnos pero no podía ver su y tuvimos que salir para el tren. Así que, gracias por su atención y esperamos volver a visitar de nuevo. :-)

So confusing... visited and the pub is playing awful pop music very loud on a Saturday night while also showing sport and serving food.It had books on the wallpaper to try and make it seem cosy and old photos. These are sandwiched between fruit machines!! There's a mural of lemmy and Amy Winehouse outside, not in keeping with the music playing! Probably won't be going back

Had a great time in this pub both before and after a football match. Service was great, never waited too long despite the pub being very busy. We also ate and the food was very good. There were also plenty of screens to watch the rugby.

Went here with a friend recently and it was really nice. We got mulled cider which was reasonably priced for London. It's not anything fancy but it's a good old fashioned pub with a nice neighbourhood atmosphere. I would definitely come back.

Due to Lack of staff my food came out warm, knives & forks were forgotten :(member of staff on Duty was doing her best due to the fact she was left by herself for the whole period we were there, didn't bother complaining to her as I felt sorry for her and left most of my food on the plate,I'm guessing her mind was else where as she didn't ask why I didn't eat the meal !!

Had far to much in this boozer, good atmosphere and the grub is very good. Staff freindly especially the lady I said must come from Spain but was in fact a Londoner oops. Thanks all we had a blast. Recommend to all.

We went today for Sunday roast. Never again!Hubby had the beef which he said was tasteless, I had the pork, which had so much fat on it, I struggled to find the meat. Frozen roasties, and covered in the most disgusting thick, thick instant gravy.Never, ever again!!!!

I met my daughter here for a quick lunch before I had to head off on the train.We ordered simple items but the food took over an hour to arrive. I had askedearlier why we had to wait so long, the lady in charge said they had missed ourorder! It was very disappointing actually and we had to eat our food very quicklyin order that I did't miss the train.

Visited this pub at the weekend to catch up with mates, really busy on the Saturday night due to sport but didn't have to wait for a drink! Great ale selection all of which tasted amazing! Had a burger (Big Ben) good portion size and well priced! Would 100% recommend for drinks with friends on a night out

Went here last night for drinks with a friend I hadn't seen in over 15 years. I remembered the pub from its days as the Windsor Castle - when it was pretty cruddy - the transformation is better!It's very conveniently located, less than a minute from its namesake Clapham Junction. An attractive mock Tudor building from the outside, it's been tastefully renovated and extended inside. Bright and airy, it has a good atmosphere.We had several glasses of the rather overpriced, but perfectly drinkable house white wine. The staff are a mixed lot - the lady serving was very abrupt, but her male colleague was charming. That said she relaxed when we had a chat to them all at closing time.So overall this is a good addition to the selection of pubs near the station, although it doesn't come close to the Falcon for atmosphere and remarkable ale selection!

Went for a big memory jaunt around the way, I am originally from Battersea, but have left many moons ago, Came in here, hadn't changed a bit, good time had by all that night, just like the old days!

I have been here a couple of times since it was called The Windsor Castle - transformation fantastic. Great food - my husband and son has the Chip Shop Platter fantastic they really enjoyed it. Don't understand negative comments I would recommend The Junction 100%.

We went here on a Friday evening, fairly early as we had theatre tickets. It is a shame that others have grizzled about this place because it was fine. It was exactly what I would have expected. It was pub food. We didn't choose anything fancy couple of huntsmans chicken, a couple of pies and a steak and chips. All turned up hot and very edible. Everyone was quite pleased with what they had ordered. The only reason they have got an average rather than a good was the price of the drinks. £23 for 5 drinks and one of them was a coke. We had to send the coke back as it was flavourless and we were given a really not much better one. (Skip the coke here)The staff were nice and came round to check that our food was OK and that we had all we needed. It was completely perfect for what we needed at that time of the day and I have no complaints.

Un pub anglais, magnifiquement décoré on peut venir y manger comme boire une bière personnellement nous y avons fait les deux ... Le midi et un soir ...La nourriture y est très agréable, le service très drôle le midi, le patron est un anglais d'une 60 années et le soir places aux jeunes serveurs...

Last Sunday (14/12/14), we went to “The Junction” after being told that the Falcon (great pub!) had a back log of Sunday roasts - it was around 3:30 so was understandable and we would have to wait a while to get one. We decided to chance it and go to The Junction as it is relatively new. We went straight for the Lamb roast - which is described as luxury on the menu and priced at £13 each so thought we could be onto a winner. Well at least until the food came out. The meat was anything but luxury and something that you expect out of Tesco's everyday value packs. On top of this it was also cold! After waiting for 40 minutes they couldn’t even serve it hot. This to one side I could have coped with but the attitude of "assistant-manager" was disgraceful which really topped it off when he rolled his eyes and sighed when we asked for an extra pot of gravy as the food was pretty dry. Overall wouldn’t recommend; wouldn't go to again – even for a drink as they are pricey too (and again average)

Anche qui abbiamo provato l'hamburger top proposto dal locale e il fish and chip. Il cibo è buono, l'ordinazione si fa al banco e dopo aver pagato si attende al tavolo l'arrivo dei piatti.La birra e il sidro erano di qualità.

Se vuoi mangiare nella zona di Clapham Juction il sabato sera è meglio che prenoti: tutti i locali sono strapieni! Festeggiare il mio compleanno per strada sarebbe stato triste così ci siamo imbattuti in questo tipico pub inglese, vicino la stazione e un po' anonimo dall'esterno. Entriamo e.....atmosfera festosa e natalizia con un alto albero di natale e un camino acceso, gruppi allegri di gente del posto di tutte le età, tanta birra e cibo tipico ottimo (favolosa la steak pie con verdure su cui cospargere una succosissima riduzione dello stufato).Prezzi in linea con i pub di Londra.
