Excellent food and service birthday treat for the wife highly recommend

They appear to have closed but are giving no information!!! I have a voucher as I have seen other people write here and I can't get any response or money back. It's atrocious. Surely they cannot keep socials open and be listed in Michelin guide when they've gone under by the looks of it. But why so secret with no note that they have closed??

Absolutely superb. First ever visit, with family, whom are frequent diners for many years. A really warm welcome, pleasant ambience and delicious food. An excellent choice for a very special evening meal.

Wow! Blown away by this amazing bistro - sensational food, welcoming and helpful staff and gorgeous setting. Every plate was just divine! Can't wait to return.

Another excellent meal at knights by the burn. Delicious chilli, freshly cooked and beautifully presented. Friendly and attentive service. Gorgeous lemon and blueberry cake with lashings of cream cheese frosting. An amazing place to eat.

Loved having coffee in this little cafe were we have just baked scones with jam and cream. Served by a very friendly helpful gentleman. A great find and we will be back again.

Mainly good service although the dishes were a bit hit and miss. Altogether an enjoyable experience but seemed pricey. A great looking venue.

Spent a wonderful afternoon with my sister and mum enjoying a fabulous champagne afternoon tea in the Sky Bar. Matt was the perfect host. He was very attentive, nothing too much trouble and his knowledge of the array of teas was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious too. This is without doubt my favourite afternoon tea venue.

We booked here, thinking that we could have our tea during our planned visit to Torridon. I emailed the restaurant and got a response the following morning confirming our table for that evening. It was a bit of challenging drive, steep single track road over spectacular mountain scenery, and a good hour from where we were staying, and well worth making the trip. What a superb meal we had in this quirky and perfectly formed little restaurant! The creel caught langoustines were wonderful, and my husband said his venison was outstanding. Our son had a double bacon burger, and it defeated him (remarkable in itself). Aart was a super host and the place was full, so we felt lucky they could fit us in. Booking is a must, and you won’t be disappointed!

I met a friend for lunch here, what a friendly welcoming place, staff and service was great and WOW food was amazing. i would recommend to anyone to visit and see for yourselves.

We came here for afternoon tea, which we pre booked. Reasonably priced and got alot for our money. Service was spot on. Tea sets and crockery were beautiful. Food was delicious! We all left very happy and very full! We even had leftovers so was given takeaway boxes and also bought slices of there fresh display cakes to take home for the hubbys. Will definitely be returning!

Superb, What delight. I highly recommend this eatery. I had whitebait to start with followed by the langoustine, cooked to perfection and allowed the ingredients to sing. My partner had traditional mac and cheese it was fantastic. The humble little kitchen can teach the big boys in St Andrews a thing or 2. The only thing I would like to point out is the bar is separate from the restaurant so it is only pub wine available. So for all you wine drinkers be warned. But the food and service more than makes up for this. I will add this food is cooked to order so if you are impatient go to Macdonald’s. You do need to book in advance! Now the bonus the price this restaurant is beyond reasonable, ridiculously priced, you could double your prices!

We have ate in a few times but regularly get a takeaway. Everything is always spot on and the service is perfect Thankyou Jess and Jake. I work abroad and this is on my top 3 for things I look forward too about coming home. I have had lots of different burgers and fries from here. But the favourite is the Best of Both Burger (Chicken and Beef) mixed with the cheeseburger fries. We will all be ordering again soon!
