The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in England

Really poor value for money, they need to rethink their prices or at least portions for drink and food as it's simply robbery (Even for London). The chicken skewers were the size of toothpicks and you could drink your margarita in one small sip... not even kidding. Please re-evaluate your prices and portions. The bar lady was nice though.

Nice chilled vibe with cool lighting. Really good BBQ / Smoked food, service was polite, friendly and prompt. I had the combo platter with baby back ribs, brisket burnt ends, bbq beans, fries and pickles. Was an excellent meal, good portion size, nice selection of sauces and the beer was a good pint too. 😎

Good location and ample parking nearby. Accessible throughout. Food was very good and service was excellent. Good drinks menu and a nice range of food choices. Very easy to reccomend.

Very helpful, professional approach, including the owner, with whom we talked on the phone from the beginning without even knowing it 😉. I can only recommend 👍.

Looking for somewhere close to the M5 for lunch and didn't want the Motorway Services. This place is about 2 minutes from the motorway and parking was OK - might be more of a problem on a busy evening, Monday lunch not so much. It was very quiet and we weren't expecting too much. The menu was very short on details; no flowery descriptions of each dish. I chose the lamb chop starter with onion bhaji and naan bread while my partner ordered the prawn jalfrezi and shared the bhaji and bread. Drinks were reasonably priced and I was offered ice and lemon with my fizzy water without having to ask - it was a pint as well, no messing. There were 3 lamb chops for my "starter" portion and they were good sized, not tiny. Quite spicy (I am a curry lightweight) and well done with a side salad to accompany. Simple but very good. The naan was perfect; light and fluffy and cooked to golden perfection, not burnt but crispy on the edges. And the bhajis, OMG! Best I have ever had, anywhere. There were 3 of them, each the size of a big burger bun, fried crispy with no doughy bits and plenty of lightly spicy flavour. I would have eaten them on their own as a snack with a beer. My companions jalfrezi was full of large prawns and very spicy - he loved it. The place was clean and modern with plenty of space - booths with comfy benches all around the sides. Toilets were equally clean and well kept. Food arrived quickly and was hot. The clientele was cosmopolitan. Way better than MaccyD's.

I have been there today , the food was good but overpriced and the service was awful and I had also to pay for a service that I didn't like. First didn't bring the full order ,second she bring wrong order and I payed 6.88 for service . It was first and last time going there. Don't recommend to anyone.

Staff were excellent in here, and the chefs got 20 or 30 meals out in one, piping hot, and at the same time. The staff were polite and served us with a smile. The food is reasonably priced, too. The only downside is just how loud it is. You can barely hear each other. It needs some large rugs on the walls and some carpeted areas under tables to try and dampen the sound. I'm surprised the staff haven't got damaged hearing! Anyway, overall, it's a great place to eat.

Love their Kebabs. Not my closest Kebab shop but definitely worth the drive. Always friendly service and food always delicious 😋

I was really impressed by the lamb doner that I had earlier today. It was a winner for quantity, quality, texture and taste. It really was properly moreish, and I could probably eat one of these every week without any trouble at all!

Love this pub. True staple of the village. Pulling punters from far and wide. Great novel and unique take on BBQ food. Keema dogh balls to die for.
