Great service, nice people We had a regular and a BBB burger and shared an order of fries. It was delicious and filling. Three sauces for the fries from a selection of about 15 flavors.

I visited back in September as part of a large work group out for lunch. We were impressed from start to finish. Drinks were timely. Food was excellent, most of the team opted for the steak lunch deal and we were not disappointed. The sauce was truly tasty. The lunch deal is exceptional value for money. I will be visiting again soon.

Popped in for a Sunday brunch back in June and left feeling disappointed that this place was nowhere near as good as I remember it. My wife and I visited, ended up spending £50 on a couple of drinks and mains, the food was not very good, the food choices were poor, and the food was expensive. But the decor is lovely and the staff are great, but that doesn't make up for the fact that the food was below average.

Visited Artisan for the first time with my Wife tonight, and we had such a great night. The staff who met us at the entrance were incredibly welcoming, and we were seated within seconds of arriving. The vibe in the place was buzzing, with great life music played out behind us, and everybody seemed to be really relaxed and having a great time. We were served drinks swiftly, and our food came promptly and was absolutely delicious. We both had the Fillet Steak and I don't think I have ever tasted a better steak.The absolute highlight of our visit was our waiter, Martin. He was friendly, down to earth and nothing seemed like too much trouble. He was so attentive and professional, and really seemed to be enjoying himself. He should be the standard that all waiters strive for, he was excellent. I hope the management read this and feed it back to him. When we settled the bill, we had no cash on us but Martin was so good, we just had to find a cash machine and returned 10 minutes later with his tip.Go to Artisan, you won't regret it!

Visited here on Weds Eve with a few friends before going off to watch level 42. We had a garlic bread and sharing platter to start. This was so good the cheeses and meats are of too quality. I opted for the chicken burger with extra cheese and bacon this was really nice I retesting pretzel bun. Overall great food with amazing service. I'm not a big fan of spinning fields but when in the area I would definitely go back!

Nous sommes allés entre amis dans ce restaurant. Le lieu est chaleureux et joliment décoré (façon industriel). La nourriture est correcte : menu pour 25 livres comprenant entrée + plat + dessert. The offering is quite restricted, if you just want a pizza or burger it’s ok.The wait for quite long for the main.Quite spacious, just a shame the food selection was so limited.For a lunch 45 pound kind of expected more.

Visited Artisan yesterday with 3 friends. We booked as we had heard good things previously.Firstly ordered a round of drinks and one of the drinks came wrong, which wasn’t a problem. However after a second and third round of drinks, every time there was something wrong with it which started to get a little irritating when all we were asking for was gin and tonic and vodka and Diet Coke.Our meals were really disappointing. Sea bass portion size was very small, and I didn’t think you could go wrong with pizza but it was so dry, barely any tomato purée, and nearly cold that it was just disappointing.With half of the small menu being pizza and there being some great pizzas around Manchester eg Rudy’s and Crazy Pedros, this shouldn’t really happen. Had a sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was ok, but cold. Service was ok apart from drinks orders being wrong, and although we were asked if everything was ok we didn’t like to complain as nothing was dreadful it was just not the high standard we were expecting. Overall Artisan really didn’t meet my expectations from entering such an amazing building with great decor and from previous rave reviews, I wouldn’t recommend as there are too many restaurants better than here in Manchester to try.

Visited for a drink while out shopping in Spinningfields so only popped in for a drink. The lady on the bar was very friendly and the service is good. The drinks menu is varied with great choices.

We stumbled upon this place and were delighted we did. The upstairs restaurant was excellent. Great food, great decor and brilliant service. The staff were attentive and incredibly helpful. This place has the X Factor.

Ate at Artisan last weekend and had a fantastic time. Live music, excellent food and great service. Would highly recommend! There were 10 of us dining but the staff were brilliant and always ensured we had a drink.

Ñam ñam ñam ñam ñam ñam! Fuimos después de ver millones de libras para celebrar los resultados menú examen con mi hija y nos quedamos realmente impresionados! El restaurante tenía una gran fama para el almuerzo y el camarero era instantáneamente atento. Con un pequeño menú pedimos Cubano, batatas fritas, carne y el croquetta! Todo estaba delicioso pero la croquetta destacaba! Nos ahorramos un poco de espacio para que los donuts cubano fueron excepcionales! Gran lugar para comer

Programa visto en millones de libras Menú y pensé que había que probar este lugar. Aislada en Manchester, pero la comida es increíble. Son cubanos y un montón de sabrosas caliente. Patatas fritas de camote son deliciosos sin duda ordenar de nuevo, pero lo más destacado fue el gouda y primavera croquetas de cebolla eran encantadores. Me gustaría volver sólo para ellos. Mi amigo la hamburguesa que dijo que estaba delicioso y picante justo lo que quería. He visto recientemente que el cierre es aparecer en Manchester, pero abrirá en otro lugar pronto, espero que así sea y espero que de Liverpool porque otra visita es sin duda sobre las tarjetas!

Lets keep this simple... the food was excellent. The drink was well priced and amazing, and the service from Jevan and the team was sensational. As Gary Neville would say; UN-BE-LEE-VABLE!!!!!!!!! I will be coming to Artisan over and over!

Went to the restaurant with my family on Sunday the 5th August the restaurant was unusually empty ordered our meals which arrived but were wrong some missing the waiter blamed the kitchen at the end we were offered a complimentary dessert to be fair the food was good I paid the bill and we went to the lift to go down to the street then two members of staff come over to me and asked if I was going to settle the bill and accused me of not paying I was totally embarrassed in front of my family in my 72years I have never been accused of leaving a restaurant without paying it totally spoilt the whole day

Ambos tuvimos pizzas y mención especial debe ir para el coliflor pizza de queso, que era increíble. También se puede recomendar la Asiática de col como una de las pizzas. El servicio era muy amable y relajado. Tenía una botella de vino, que era razonable y disfrutamos de un almuerzo relajante tarde.

He querido visitar por un tiempo después de ver allí "compartiendo asado los domingos" en facebook. Visitado ayer. Los chefs produjo un fabuloso domingo compartiendo carne asada (no olvidar uno de los ingredientes principales. . Yorkshire pudding.). Le pregunté si se los budines yorkshire, ah, sí voy a conseguir. Esperamos hasta que empezamos a comer, pero como pensamos comenzar. Tuve que pedir de nuevo para ellos, y cuando finalmente apareció mi marido y me había acabado su casi hecho. Una pena, ya que la comida era buena, la carne era perfecta liberar en la boca. Yo no puedo decir a la señora, El decepcionado estuvo entreteniendo directora llegó dijo lo siento pero me he quitado de la factura, que era 2 coca-cola, una gran malbec, pensamos que sí, muy bonito. Después pedimos desierto, tardaron 10 minutos para venir y decir lo siento el volumen de Apple se acabó! ! El lugar no estaba ni siquiera 1 / 3 servicio necesita clasificar, muy decepcionante en todo. Es una pena ya que el precio para el asado era 9. 95 Cada cual a decir en el centro de Manchester, muy bueno. Pedí la factura para encontrar mi malbec todavía. Normalmente este lugar. Estado aquí muchas veces con mi marido y niños para las comidas y o bebidas. Hoy 4 de agosto 3. 30 es 2 Pornstar Martini. En la primera chica en vidrio se dio cuenta de que no tienen suficientes para un segundo ya que simplemente llena un vaso. Entonces ella precedido de vidrio de primera scoup para hacer dos copas irrisorios, por £22. 00. Bebida no duran, así que aumenten y la izquierda. ¡Nunca más! ! ! !

10 de nosotros comimos en el artesano para una reunión funciona, elegimos menú. La comida era excelente y el personal era genial. El servicio era un poco lento a veces, pero que no arruinen nuestra noche. La música en vivo era fabuloso y un muy buen ambiente! Sin duda volveremos y lo aconsejar a otros a considerar el artesano para reservas de grupo.

The initial booking and welcome was all great, seated very quickly, however after being seated nobody took a drinks order for 10/15 minutes or so.

We visited the "pop-up" restaurant at Artisan after my daughter's graduation. Plenty of room outside for the four of us, and all very informal. A great place for ordering a selection of dishes to share with a Cuban influence. We went for two cubanos pressed sandwiches halved which were great, two portions of really crispy (in a good way) sweet potato fries, two lots of melt in the mouth cheese croquetas, (missed a hint of ham, but it does provide a vegetarian option), ropa vieja (cut into four), and a rice dish; all very good and about right for the four of us who had been seated in the Bridgewater Hall for what seemed like an age. The cocktails were expensive compared to our earlier exploitation of the 2-4-1 options at Turtle Bay, and the Pina Colada was disappointing. Service was excellent with a carafe of iced water provided. Recommended as drop in for tasty Cuban fare.

We went here for a works night out last weekend. We had pre-booked and pre-ordered but the starter was slow in coming to us, we were probably waiting about 1/2 hour for the food to arrive. Starter was tasty enough but the portion size left something to be desired. I ordered prawns and got 5 with 2 large chunks of garlic. Would be an idea to perhaps serve that starter with some bread as it is so meagre.... Anyway onto the main which was steak and that arrived to the table warm (the fries only just!) they did mess up our order and a couple of the party got their main when the rest of us had nearly finished which was not ideal. Steak was dry so I had to order a side order of sauce(as the steak comes as is, not sauces offered in price!) Peppercorn sauce was really tasty actually so I did not mind having to pay a bit extra for it. Portion size on the desert (brownie) was inconsistent and some pieces were noticeably larger than others which is not good as the price is the same... We did have a nice evening and the ambiance of the place made up for some of the shortages in the service. The lady floor manager was pleasant as were the bar staff who were making several cocktails for our party. Management need to look at the 3 hour limit on the room we had upstairs as we wanted to stay in there and drink but were told we could not which was a disappointment especially as we were spending a considerable amount of money with them I do feel they could have been a bit more flexible......

Decided to give it a try and dined in with a girlfriend and a couple of friends. The restaurant looks absolutely ARTisan and is very pleasant to spend time in, comparing to other loud and noisy places in the area. The food was also really nice but I am laving a 5 star cause of the great service by the Italian waiter, thank you. Will be back great place to go !

On a very hot and sunny Saturday it was nice to find this place could get us in. Really nice menu, excellent service and very good food. As another advantage the price was very fair.

went for a special birthday family meal. forced to have set meal for £30 as 11 of us. no vegan options in this menu. would have had a similar experience eating fish and chips or macdonalds on a picnic bench in a multistory car park. on entry you are greated by dirty glass topped tables which had some plants/ herbs under the glass, which had obviously died and been removed but not replaced. No option on how the steak was cooked which was 1/2 cm thick and sticky toffee pudding topped both golden syrup. husband had lemon tart which had burnt pastry which wacking from a height could not break. told staff who said they had told the chef but they offered no apology or courtesy gesture. only positive is that service was quite quick and company was good. the staff also were attentive at filling up the iced water. hen parties abundant and probably enjoyed experience as quite pissed. in conclusion. good at selling things that don't cost such as water and friendliness. but definately not artisan!

Tuve el bife de costilla mi colega la sal y la pimienta. costillas Ambos llegaron en buen tiempo y tengo que decir que la carne estaba perfecta. Las costillas, que no probamos, pero eran consumidos sin queja. En general, un lugar muy agradable para estar.

Cené allí con mi amigo, y tengo que decir que aunque los precios están bien, la comida era simple. Pedí pollo y patatas fritas, y fue como el pollo kfc y patatas fritas normales amigo, pero obviamente más caro. No me malinterpretéis, estuvo bien, pero no se puede comparar a la maravillosa decoración dentro del lugar.

Almorzamos en este lugar hoy con un par de amigos. Nunca he estado antes y no volveré. Es un restaurante muy agradable no hay duda, pero el servicio y la comida era horrible. Me dieron la impresión de que sólo había interesado en el menú del almuerzo y como los 3 de nosotros fuimos 'fuera de pista', fue como si nos olvidamos. Pedimos la comida y a pedido del agua del grifo. . . . . Que tardó casi media hora en aparecer. Solo media hora después de que había pedido, me las arreglé para tomar el camarero como él hizo maravillas pasado para cuestionar la demora. Él se disculpó y dijo que iba a averiguar. Por desgracia no volver con una respuesta, o la comida. Cuando finalmente llegue, la pizza que tenía era el peor que he tenido. En seco, casi ningún topping, frío. . . Muy desagradable. Hay demasiados restaurantes en Manchester, así que mi consejo es que te pierdes nada y probar otro

Estaba increíblemente lleno cuando llegamos, pero sólo tuvimos una corta espera por una mesa. La junta deli entrante era delicioso y perfecto para 2 para compartir. Love this place, lovely food and great staff. The food provided is great as there is definitely something on the menu for everybody. Enjoyed the environment and atmosphere. Really friendly staff members. Good for the price you pay, will be returning.

Visited here at the weekend with a few friends, nice choice of menu and I had a pizza which was surprisingly quite nice and very big!

Attended a business networking meeting where drinks and finger food served as part of the event. Pizzas and Mini-burgers were tasty enough and satisfied most people based on the amount consumed! Will try another time to explore this multi-level Mancunian favourite's main menu.

Every couple of years I go somewhere that can cook a steak medium rare properly. Lucky for me that place was Artisan last night. It was perfect!!!!

The place is really nice! We had a caesar salad, a beef and a chicken burger and a ribeye steak. All dishes were tasty with nice sides and some interesting sauce options. The draft beer was excellent! Definitely recommend!

I booked for Sunday Lunch for 4 People for a Birthday Celebration. The booking was made about 3 weeks in advance. I received a call from the restaurant 2 days before the day of the booking. The lady who called laid down the rules in a very matter of fact way, "I'm just calling to make sure you are still coming. You will have the table for 2 hours only. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your booking you could lose the table." Not very friendly, but I learnt about their strict rules.

Went with my mother and brother when they visited from Belfast.We were shown straight to our table and a drinks order taken v quickly- great cosmos. We all opted for steak and were not disappointed. The live music was an added bonus. Would def recommend and will be back.

3 friends and I went out to eat and come across artisan we as we come in there a desk with nobody there it’s confusing so we walk up the stairs and we are greeted by a lady we see is to our seats the waiter attends our table was very nice he ask for our drink and gave a bottle of water to our table so we order our food I get the chicken liver parfait with some bread the over all taste was ok nothing good seemed old as it crumbled my friends had the watermelon salad and the garlic bread which was very nice a little bit salty and the dough wasn’t properly cook through we move in to the mains and we order 2 pizzas and 2 fillet steaks at this point I was disappointed as the steaks where not “7oz” but smaller I asked for rare and got a steak that was nearly medium the other stake wasn’t so good as well we sent it back because it was over cooked from medium rare to well it took almost 15 mins to get the food back my friends had already finished there food. So over all I would not return back the staff where nice and great helped with the situations.

The restaurant itself is very hidden and out of the way I had never actually noticed it before - now that we finally have I am so grateful! Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Promising drinks menu along with very diverse food choices. Highly recommended to come here!

Popped in after work for drinks with colleagues and was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't look that much from outside but its cozy inside and the staff are lovely and the drinks a good too.

Just had a meal here with my two daughters who both work in restaurants & are used to good service , the service was amazing our waitress was a young lady who was very attentive , the roast dinner was something else it was delicious , well presented & plenty of choice of veg. I can honestly say we eat out most weekends & this was the nicest roast I’ve had in a while .

Después de una recomendación que visitamos para una celebración de cumpleaños para aprovechar el descuento de enero. Nos quedamos tan impresionados que volvimos para otra celebración en febrero. La camarera se acordaban de nosotros desde el mes antes y nos dieron un descuento en nuestra comida. Comida, cócteles y servicio eran excelentes, gran ambiente demasiado y no teníamos prisa. Tres campos y dos cócteles cada uno nos costó menos de 30 libras por persona. Bistec chuletón era buena.

Con seis compañeros de trabajo y necesitábamos un almuerzo rápido. Este restaurante fue recomendado por uno de nuestro grupo. Buen ambiente, sentí la amenidad y alrededores interesantes frescos. Establecer el valor del menú increíble y con una bebida tirado por £11, vino tinto suministrado fue buena. Todo el mundo me gustó la comida, pero el servicio podría haber sido un poco been slicker, por ej. la comida de todo el mundo estando en la mesa al mismo tiempo y un menú a la carta y entrando dribs drabs. Volvería de nuevo y lo recomiendo, gracias Manchester.

So I took my girlfriend as a surprise for our first Valentine's Day (bear in mind we're both from Staffordshire so we travelled a decent journey) we'd gone to a museum earlier and found ourselves running late, calling up and changing our reservation was well met, and super easy to do, even on Valentine's Day, maybe not too popular a destination or perhaps just because it was at 4pm before offices finished etc. Anyway I digress...

Superb restaurant, service is spot on, no long waits but not rushed. Food is amazing and reasonable value, not cheap but not over priced either. The restaurant itself has a nice feel about it. Would recommend 100%

Been a couple of times to this bar, the music, atmosphere and drinks are great. You can eat here but never have, always look good tho. Definitely worth a visit.

I had my reservations about coming here.. but this place took away those resignations in just a few seconds and would recommend this place to anyone.

Artisan is such a lovely restaurant. The staff are very very kind and helpful, the food is amazing and service was great. We had the set menu as there were 10 of us eating and the staff were accommodating to dietary needs. The live music was great and set off a great atomosphere.

Lovely atmosphere but really slow service, staff seemed uninterested and waited nearly 40 minutes just for drinks and starters

Dined in a party of five. Two different staff members served us. The person that took our orders seemed to have noted the way one of my guests wanted their steak incorrectly and we had to ask for the side plates, which she stated she would bring with the starters. Tristan who delivered our food and took the dessert orders provided a very efficient and friendly service.

Fuimos muy afortunados de tener una zona acordonada designado para realizar el cóctel almuerzo de fiesta. El personal era muy cortés, profesional y excepcionalmente bien informado cuando fuimos a mezclar cócteles. El teatro y el espectáculo de algunos de los arreglos eran hechizo obligatorio. Comimos aquí en sábado y salimos muy decepcionados. Buscamos antes fuimos y yo decidimos en el filete y mi marido me apetecía la panceta de cerdo. El menú que nos dieron era muy limitado y no tenía ninguno? Sólo había alrededor de 3 o 4 pizzas y pollo Ensalada Caesar. no Le pedí al camarero si era el único y dijo que era. Fue casi como si él estaba tratando de implicar que imaginaba y me hicieron sentir muy avergonzado y estúpido. Pregunté por el director, quien dijo que teníamos probablemente ha dado una versión abreviada del menú y nos preguntó si nos gustaría volver a pedir como nuestras primeras opciones eran en realidad. Como nuestro pedido estaba a punto de llegar y luego nos negamos y nos acomodamos para una costilla y una hamburguesa. El bistec estaba bien, pero mi marido dijo que había comido hamburguesas mucho mejor en cualquier otro sitio. Las patatas fritas eran las muy finas como la que te dan en una bolsa de congelados (pensé que significaba casero artesano? )

Just had a beautiful meal I had the roast beef dinner for 2 with my son in law . And lots of it . My only gripe the service was very slow .our 2 year old grandson had to wait for is pizza quite a while. We all had to wait but it was very busy. Yes would recommend the food

Excelentes hamburguesas para cuatro personas. En su segundo aprendiz camarero día fue muy buena y una error rápidamente corregido. Concurrido y animado a la hora del almuerzo. Volvería como otros platos parecía tentador.

Fui con mis amigos para comer el domingo. La comida viene en una tabla de compartir entre dos personas, había un número impar de nosotros, así que pedimos 2 tablas de entre 4 y esto era más que suficiente.

I visited Artisan on a Sunday evening in January with friends. Service was a bit unfriendly and a bit pretentious. I decided to have the burger. I did ask for it to be cooked medium though the waitress told me it would come on how it’s cooked? The burger arrived with around 10 chips on the plate and the burger was horrible. It actually tasted like a birds eye frozen burger it was really bad and it the burger was burnt. I had a long day and couldn’t be bothered complaining but this was the 3rd time that I have been to this restaurant but I won’t be returning. Terrible.

Met some friends at the bar area downstairs for pre-dinner drinks and cocktails before heading to the restaurant for attentive staff and great food - even better considering like many others we were taking advantage of the 50% off offer! Will definitely be returning and would have been happy to pay full price!
