Went for a birthday meal with 3 other people. We all really enjoyed the food and the good customer service. Would definitely reccommend

Hadn't been here for a couple of years. Rocked up and we're greated by our host. She went through the menu with us and we chose a selection of various starters and mains. Ended up ordering too much but we tried everything and all was fantastic. Recommended the wings for sure x

Came on Thursday night, and the place was quite empty, so I didn't need to book. The food was nice but ordered way too much. Nice cocktail.

Went on a Saturday night only a few tables full no atmosphere uae to be packed. Food wasn't great I won't be going back . Was expensive

Fabulous place to eat if looking for somewhere in town. We were visiting Brighton the next day but staying in Worthing for the night. Fantastic food & service! Will return if in area again! P.s. nachos were huge but very enjoyable!

Went last week .Always our go to treat as we love the ribs.Unfortunately they have changed the menu and ribs and a few other things that my grandchildren like are no longer available.We did find something else but won’t go back again.Its a shame as we did love going there

We were there last night. Service was, okay. Ordered starter's and then left for nearly 20 mins. We got the chance to order more drinks when the mains came. Unfortunately part of the mains was missing. The place was very loud which were advised about on booking. On the plus side the food was Great.

We visited midweek when the restaurant was very quiet. Staff attentive but not overly so which was good. Food was lovely and good sized portions

Had a lovely family dinner recently and wanted to share how kind and accommodating the staff and chef were to some of our odd food intolerances. They managed to create a wonderful dinner and i noticed there were lots of options for Gluten Free too!

Early lunch so very quiet. Suits me, very speedy service. Nachos and guacamole to start - could have done with more guacamole. Steak fajitas for me, steak and prawn for my partner, definitely needed more guacamole and salsa. Very good though and good amount of steak,

I couldn’t fault the food or the service. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. I had a pulled bbq chicken burrito which was just lovely. Husband had the Mexican cow burger wrap and also throughly enjoyed it. The only thing that slightly spoiled our meal was an obnoxious table close to us who felt that everyone should hear their conversation, but not the restaurants fault. Will definitely be back.

Great food, services painfully slow. We had to find a waitress to ask to take our order, food took about 25 to arrive and then had to find one to ask for the bill. Not asked at any point how was our meal. May have been short staffed but there again wasn’t advised they were which would have helped manage expectations had they been.

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and the food was out in his time. The food was fantastic, well priced. Would recommend.

Enjoyed a very pleasant lunch, there were lots of options. The Holy Guacamole wrap needed a bit more guacamole and the kids nachos had too much cheese; it was about 1cm thick in places!

Wir waren mit zwei Familien dort. Uns hatte neben der Aussicht auf mexikanisches Essen das schöne Ambiente im Hauptraum gelockt. Leider wurden wir trotz leerer Tische in einen hinteren abgelegenen Bereich gesetzt. Unsere Bitte zu wechseln wurde rüde abgetan, vorne blieb es leer... Das leckere Essen konnte diesen Eindruck nur ein wenig mildern... Schade.

me and my family enjoyed a lovely meal at liming on Thursday. at first we thought it was a bit pricey but after our meal i’d say it’s absolutely worth the price! we experienced great service and a lovely atmosphere. will definitely come back very soon!

Ordered a cod father wrap which I have had before and absolutely loved. Was so excited to get this again tonight but instead was delivered a when in rome wrap which contains chicken. I’m pescatarian. When my partner tried to sort this with Deliveroo, we were only given a partial refund of just the item. When we phoned the restaurant, the server on the phone was incredibly dismissive and offered no help or really even much of an apology. We were told we would have to order all over again which would incur delivery charges all over again. Hugely disappointed, angry and my evening has been ruined.

The food is just glazed and was sickly underneath. They are really taking the mic. It’s not the girls servers fault as doing the best they can but really they mustn’t have a chef or manager around. For £70 this really wasn’t worth it.

Looking for somewhere to grab a quick lunch with my 16 year old daughter and came across this place on Google. The restaurant was deserted despite it being Saturday lunch time, but put this down to the fact the food festival was taking place. We didn’t want the larger dishes so had a sharing plate of nachos with beef chilli, and 2 starters - chicken Toquitos and cheese quesadillas. The dishes were okay but not the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. The nachos were the best out of the three dishes. We paid and left and there was still no one else in the restaurant. Less than an hour later I became quite unwell and had a very upset stomach. My daughter also had an upset stomach an hour or so after we returned home. I had not eaten anything else that day so I can only assume that something wasn’t reheated thoroughly. I am writing this the next day in the afternoon, after being up and down all night on the toilet. I still have a very tender stomach and griping pains. Suffice to say we won’t be eating here again.

I simply love the Limings. I have been making the 40 minute journey to Worthing every other month or so for the last couple of years because I constantly crave the burritos here. I have never had a bad meal. The food is excellent quality and always consistent. The service is quick and friendly. Never had any problems with being seated even as a walk-in. I’ve taken many of my friends and family here for birthday meals etc and they have all thoroughly enjoyed - including my particularly hard to please father who said “this is the best chilli I’ve ever had”. 5 ★ - my favourite restaurant

We tried Montagues Tex Mex yesterday (stayed at the Premier Inn) and it was closed until September!?? So when we came across liming we thought we'd give it a go this evening. Walked in, no booking, and all concluded it was spot on. We had the calamari for starter, and was quite impressed with the serving size, albeit the calamari rings themselves were quite small, it was very nice. Main were a couple of burritos and some chicken nachos. Everything was very nice and considerably better than the nandos we ended up with yesterday 🙄

Most evening you will need to book, as can be very busy, great food, fantastic service and value for money. If there are large groups can be very noisy. The service is excellent, all staff very smart and very polite.

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food.

Visited on a Friday night, food was delicious but portions of guac, sour cream and salsa hugely disappointing. Ordered Nachos and Fajitas and both came with about a tablespoon of each if that maybe a teaspoon for the salsa. Not sure if they were running out but wasn’t enough to fill my 4 tortillas. Service was slow but the team were friendly.

We decided to get some quesadillas, cheese churros, garlic bread, fries and taquitos. Mains looked good but £17 for a fajita is just ridiculous, the price of most of the menu items is stupidly high for a seaside town. Basically London prices. Similar feeling to having a knife pulled on me and getting my wallet taken It cost 35£ for the stuff we ordered, which is again stupidly high. However, the lunch menu 12-2 Monday to Saturday looked much more affordable and a better deal, so I’d recommend coming in these times. Otherwise, it’s a rip off. Nothing justifies that kind of price.

Came in with my best friend this evening and was served by the lovely Josh, special thanks to him. The food was amazing and the drinks were delicious! Staff were attentive and smiley, atmosphere was very pleasant. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Incredibly tasty food. The nachos were incredible with their homemade dips, and cheese in every area. The burrito was super filling, but left me craving more.

Had such a nice meal here last night with some friends! Food was delicious and good portion sizes too and the staff were really lovely and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely be back :)

Visited Saturday lunchtime. Both had wraps from the lunchtime menu, very tasty indeed, good size portions without being over the top. These were followed by some churros, again excellent. All the food was freshly cooked and piping hot. Great service and reasonably priced, will be back again at some time to try some more.

Yet another gorgeous lunch, fast friendly service, great atmosphere and plenty of veggie and vegan options. Picture is a vegan burger wrap, they were accommodating in making adjustments for me. Thank you Limings!

Had a very tasty meal here and we're well looked after. We were a party of 5 plus a baby in high chair and were seated without any problems. Staff were attentive although it was quite busy so sometimes had to wait a little longer to be served. It is a nice atmosphere so would recommend for a visit if you like mexican food. Vegan options were available on several if the dishes which was helpful for our party. Expect to pay around £25 a head including one drink.

Got churros with chocolate sauce from here in a small bowl although when I looked on the side there was a generous amount of orange sauce on there considering I hadn’t ordered any. I called them out and told them my bowl was dirty and the waitress was very polite and apologised after about 4-5 minutes they brought out another bowl(or they just washed it) The only reason I’ve given 3 stars rather than 2 is because they had a clean toilet and if you know Worthing they’re usually rank. So next time you think about going in there just remember they probably aren’t that hygienic. So now I leave you with the question, what really goes on in that kitchen?

A very disappointing meal, the service was OK, but the food was well below average. I had the fillet steak Fajita, a massive amount of onion, and very few peppers and the steak was more like sirloin/rump than fillet. My two friends had the ribs, and both said they were poor, the BBQ sauce was served separately and was a liquid BBQ dip at best, what ever happened to the sticky ribs?

Great food and fast service for lunch break dine-in. Will definitely be back!

Went for son-in-law's birthday. Very quiet as it was a Monday evening. Service was good and the food choices were plentiful. The food was good but we've had better Mexicans. Hubby and another member of the group had the coconut chicken curry which lacked spice and good have been more flavourful. My burrito was very tasty. Overall it was a good meal but doubtful I'd return

I have regularly visited this restaurant but our recent experience was not that we had hoped or expected. We had very overcooked food which was dry and a large proportion of the meal left. We asked for a drink, it never arrived, we asked for a dessert, no one came to take our order after a long wait we went to the till to ask for our bill and left after paying the full bill. No one asked how our meal was or why the food was left. We wasn’t offered drinks throughout our meal so went elsewhere for refreshments. On feeding back on the night I was told ‘oh’ no apology at all. I have emailed the restaurant to try and resolve the issue but they offered a 15% discount to return thanks but no thanks. We wouldn’t return, it’s just not the same place it used to be and the service very poor

Very mixed. Delicious starter. Disappointing faijtas. Our waitress was lovely, but some of the other servers were some of the rudest I've ever experienced. One actually pretty much shouted at us. But the girl who was with us most of the evening was really lovely.

A fantastic meal and excellent service. I had the jambalaya. Really generous on the meat content and tasted delicious! The kid's meals are good value with good portions sizes and excellent quality on all meals. The vegan brownie is incredible and 100% worth a try! We'll be returning very soon - and probably ordering a burrito takeaway until we do. Thank you.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’VE EVER SEEN! Booked for my wife’s birthday over a month ago for 8 people. Last week called them to add one more person to the table. The guy on the phone said no problem. Turned up there last night 7 of our friends were already sat down. A guy with dark curly frizzy hair said sorry you booked for 8. That’s what the booking system sayes. No apologies or what can I do to help. It was our fault and the booking system said 8 people even though we showed him the phone call on my wife’s phone from a week ago to make the alteration. So 9 of us left the restaurant. I hope the manager of Limings reads this as this guy lost the restaurant at least £450 in takings last night.

Staff are nice, replied quickly to my email booking. However, Like most eating establishments at the moment, it's way overpriced for what you get.

I've been here so many times and never had a bad experience. We had a party of 15 and nothing was too much, always excellent service and perfect food!

Vegan menu options we're great! The vegan options aren't currently listed but on asking most things can be made vegan :) Tasty vegan cheese and a good selection, I had nachos and a burrito, they substituted rather than leaving stuff out :) there were 7 of us with mixed diets and we were all happy.

Went for lunch, very quiet, nice settings. Food was lovely, great staff. Dirty fork left on the napkin, to eat my meal with, only complaint. Ordered the Chilli beef. Was absolutely wonderful. Attentative staff, fast friendly service. Would definitely go back again.

There are so many 5-star food options in Worthing that it would be easy to underestimate Liming; it is in a quiet spot behind Montague Street and doesn’t look like much from the outside looking in. I have to admit I have walked past it a number of times in the 6 months that I have lived in Worthing so far without so much as a second thought, but finally decided to give it a try tonight and I can now confidently say this restaurant is another on the long list of fantastic spots for a great meal in Worthing. For starters, despite it being a packed house, we were seated and served quickly, and every member of the team we dealt with was friendly, helpful and happy to offer recommendations. There were also lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The sweet pepper burrito was one of the best burritos I’ve had in a long time (my wife’s very concise review was “the perfect balance of flavours!”) and even some of the more seemingly basic options on the menu (onion rings, corn on the cob) were delectable. So happy to have finally given Liming a shot, and a little annoyed at myself for not giving it a chance sooner.

Everything was perfect apart from the place was freezing

The food was extremely delightful and nice portion sizes. Best Mexican food I've ever had outside of Mexico. The chefs understand how to use spices correctly so the food is spicy but not overpowering with heat that it ruins the flavours. Definitely will be back again.

Really really bad. Very slow and poor service, arrived at 7:30 but main wasn’t served til 9pm. The description on the menu for the burrito was “toasted flour tortilla wrapped around delicious fillings of frijoles, tomato salsa, sour cream and Mexican rice”. In fact it was actually just a tortilla with plain unseasoned sweet potato, plain rice and plain bland black beans with cranberries?! I had gone for the vegan option so fair enough if they don’t want to order in vegan cheese and sour cream, but there’s no reason for missing out the other parts. Honestly couldn’t eat it. Margaritas were sickly sweet as if they had lime cordial in. The vegan nachos were ok so at least I had those.

Good atmosphere and great service, but the food was disappointing. Nothing was marked as vegan on the menu but we were advised when booking that some of the dishes could be made vegan. I had the burrito, but it was just rice, beans & pepper. No guac, no salsa, no vegan sour cream or cheese and no real flavour. It was bland at best. It was served with a few plain tortilla chips and a small pot of chilli jam (best bit of the whole dish). For £12, I certainly didn't feel like I got my money's worth. Likewise with the 2 small slices of garlic bread for £4 and the handful of spicy nuts for £3.50. The prices wouldn't have bothered me that much had I enjoyed my main, but I did not. A real shame.

Rude waiters, waiting 2 hours for a meal, wouldn’t recommend

Myself, my partner and my kids had dinner here last night and it was fantastic. Great food and Bella, our server couldn’t have been nicer. We travelled from near Weymouth to try it having heard good things about it and we weren’t disappointed. Ate far too much and are still talking about it today. Will definitely be coming back, and soon!

Staff were slow and playing on phones while eating behind bar. While being 1/4 full the bar was empty took 10 mins to get first drink delivered to our table and another 5 mins to get a bottle of cider in the fridge. Waitress sneezed on her hands behind bar. Then walked into kitchen to pick up orders with out washing her hands first. Food was OK but not up to the price, felt like microwave food. Maybe an off night for them but won't be returning soon.

Visited for a work do Friday night and was blown away! Service excellent, food was sublime and arrived quick and piping hot and looked amazing. I consider myself to be a 'chicken wings professional' my wings I had for my starter were litterally the best I have ever eaten (and that's a lot!). Glistening BBQ glaze, crispy skin moist meat! Perfection! For my main I had a pulled port burrito 🌯 which was also delicious. I'll definately be coming again with family. Great job guys.

Always good food. Mostly go for lunch the wraps are always great. Very consistant with the food quality. Highly recommend.
