The Woods Burger Kitchen is situated in the centre of Worthing. When we visited it was immaculately clean and had very helpful staff. The food did not take too long to be delivered to our table, but it was more separate foods, rather than a meal. It is a ‘street food’ type of experience with good size portions but seemed a bit expensive.

Absolutely fantastic service, very welcoming from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and very generous with the sweets for my little one ☺️☺️

The sign outside the restaurant & the website states that food is served until 3pm but when I walked in with my family at 2pm we were turned away as apparently the kitchen had closed.

Excellent place at the heart of Worthing. Amazing staff and nice atmosphere. We just came in for a burger but ended up with a challenge. One of us made it to the wall 😉. Fantastic mozzarella logs! Highly recommend!!! Definitely back after recovery 😄

Dreadful starting from the front door !! Grim inside grim, chewing gum under the tables. We walked out and went down the road to Efes Turkish what a contrast. Wonderfully clean. Come guys. Invest in your business. Refurbished your restaurant!!

This best burger I've ever had. The Col Nathan Jesop burger is a game changer. Who can say no to a camembert bomb and a bit of spice in your burger. The mozzarella sticks and parmasan fries were a great side aswell. Will defo be going again. Thanks

Dined here for the first time this evening. Quiet Wednesday night, booked in the last time slot. Seated quickly and served promptly. Food was quick in service but definitely not lacking in quality. Asked for Carolina sauce in the burger which isn’t the usual, and they were happy to accommodate. I find most places lacking in heat when I’ve asked for spicy food but this definitely didn’t disappoint. My partner also doesn’t eat meat and was really happy with the alternatives served! Honestly such an amazing business! Highly recommend. Will be coming back. Front of house staff were extremely friendly! Thank you!

This was such a great place to get a meal! It was extremely loud but manageable with a corner table. The food was great and the staff were great with adjustments which was very accommodating to my partner’s ARFID, and they offer takeaway containers which is great because the milkshakes are enormous.

Gorgeous burgers, amazing fries and the milk shake was Devine. Lunch meal deal was brilliant value at £11 and big portions. 2 gentlemen working were really friendly. Highly recommended

Really good burgers. Full of flavour and presented well. Hands suitably messy afterwards so you know it’s good. Cutlery on the table but that’s not for me when it comes to burgers. Good music playing and great vibes from the gang working the table making sure everyone was having a good time. Highly recommend this place as it wasn’t this good 3 years ago when I last tried it.

This was one of our favourite venues to take the kids for great burgers and shakes. Sadly it has really gone downhill over the past few years. Prices are up 50% (most venues have increased their prices) but the Dirdy Birdy portion size has halved and the restaurant is looking really tired. Will not be heading back anytime soon.

Not sure what to say - cold, wet evening in Worthing, with this place recommended. Bit dark; bit cold; bit noisy with booming rock music, so not very welcoming, though staff were doing their best. Three burgers - ‘simple’ Woods burger deemed good; Dirby Birdy chicken deemed OK, but the Commadore - not good - over-cooked with weird jam. House slaw was mostly raw chunks of red cabbage; some onion, but very few bits of apple and sultanas; no mayo - not good either; best avoided, to be frank. On the plus side, the shake was excellent. Amusingly - some regulars came in and sat on next table. Immediately, a heater was found and switched in for them. Guess sums up attitude.

We went as a family of four as a treat during the holidays. The kids milkshakes were enormous so unless you have a ravenous teenager then be warned, they might need to share! (They were flipping amazing though so worth it even if they filled the kids up!) The burgers were delicious and the loaded fries were amazing too but we were glad we shared them as the portion sizes are generous! Service was good and they got the humour of ordering one brownie but four spoons (so glad we did as it was enough for all four of us!) We will definitely go again.

Another great meal at the Woods. The burgers are fantastic and different to what you get anywhere else. Lucas was really helpful and friendly from the moment we walked in. He was there whenever we needed him and Toma was amazing as well, very helpful and attentive!

Really tasty burger, no complaints but added my own hot sauce. Only suggestion is a napkin in take away bag. Otherwise delicious fast and hit every spot !

Wow what a great evening. 11 of us were served our drinks and our orders taken swiftly. We had two coeliacs and that wasnt a problem and we enjoyed a superb meal. Atmosphere was great and would definitely go back. I enjoyed a burger and chicken wings, both succulent and good size portions. Highly recommend

Had a trip back to Worthing in Sussex in the week. And all my friends were raving about the burgers at The Woods. So we paid them a visit....OMG the COL NATHAN JESSUP burger with its deep fried camembert bomb hidden inside is frikkin AWESOME. Far and away one of the best burger joints I've been too....and with my expending waistline the way it is, That's saying something. Also try the Parmesan loaded fries...easily enough for two hungry people to share. #allhailthewoods 🍔🍟

If you are ever in the Brighton area and looking for a lovely Burger place, then you need to keep The Woods on your list! The portion sizes here are amazing! The range is great, and the loaded fries are fantastic! But the one thing they don't do anymore, which I miss is the Kraken burger. The staff and service are amazing. Nothing is ever too much, and they are always happy to make recommendations and maybe alternative options to things for you. The shakes here are just amazing! The oreo is my favourite.

The food is amazing and the young girls waitressing do a fabulous job. Shame about the manager Lucas who we saw be rude to the waitress whilst he sat there doing nothing behind the bar on his phone the whole time we were there. The two girls waitressing were run off their feet and he did nothing to help.

Food was good, this was my favourite restaurant, untill a year ago when I last visited and the food had seriously gone down hill. I decided to return yesterday and the food was back to what I remember. Cracking!! The only issue I had is that the music was far to loud. Couldn't really talk between ourselves comfortably.

Not the best experience I’ve had. The food was mediocre and did not warrant the cost. The buffalo Soulja was overdone, most of the staff I found were below par, not all though, they cleaned our table before my wife had finished. Overall not a good first impression.

Excellent food, have ordered from here before and it does not disappoint. Lunch deal was great value for money, burger filled me up, struggled to finish the fries and the drinks were a decent size (and included) all for £10!

Was taken out for dinner here despite feeling a bit poorly, but nevertheless, I enjoyed my pulled pork burger and my two companions thoroughly enjoyed the chicken wings, and burger with camembert cheese and the fries were nice as was the macaroni cheese which was excellent service was also very good

i came in for a burger like a week ago and was horrified to whiteness a young waitress get harassed by this other customer, she was clearly distressed by it, but the worst part was the managers didn’t do anything to help - but just left her! i am shocked and appalled by the management team at this establishment of what otherwise could be a brilliant restaurant. i hope that if i ever come back, this won’t happen again. please look after your staff.

Unreal burger and the fries to die for!!!!!

Wouldn't be my first choice let's just say that the furniture is a little tatty and worn out.

Food and service was absolutely lovely! We both got the waffle burger with maple syrup and oh so good! We were absolutely stuffed and definitely didn't need to order mac&cheese and fries as well to share! Unfortunately it was a bit uncomfortable as the table was one of the metal ones and it was very cold to lean on

Take away from here is amazing.

Avoid the Carolina sauce on burger or wings as it extremely spicy.

Food is fresh and very delicious. The staff are friendly and accommodating but unfortunately the service is extremely slow! Every time we have visited this is the case. Other than that, it’s honestly great and would recommend.

Always on the expensive side, pay for fries separately. Drinks take a while to come out. But can't fault the food, always tasty. Door was left open as well, so we had a chill coming in, that time of year you'd expect it shut.

Gluten free burgers on the menu. Staying in the premier Inn and googled for food. Found this place and googled the menu and discovered gf options on the menu including the burgers. Quick stroll and take away ordered. Friendly staff and helpful too.would return to try other gf from the menu.🥳👍

Came in for lunch with my girlfriend. The food was out of this world. The lunch deal is amazing for value! A lunch burger, fries and a pint of any soft drink, for £10! New mac and cheese is delicious with a very generous portion size, and the mango wings are absolutely amazing, very sweet and not too spicy.

Went for an early dinner on Sunday. Food was very quick and one of the best burgers I’ve had. Patrick was a great host.

I ordered a takeaway from here last night and when I received the order my chicken wings (£31 worth) were raw. When I contacted the restaurant the lady on the phone didn't seem to care and told me to raise a complaint with Uber eats, which I did. Uber eats refunded me £1.79 (Uber cash, not real money) for £31 worth of raw chicken which I'm really not happy with. The fact that the chicken was raw from this restaurant and they didn't seem to care really annoyed me and now I'm down £31.. won't be ordering or visiting here again.

Awful burgers, ice cold with a raw beef patty. Hugely overpriced. I'm guessing going by the other reviews the normal chef wasn't working tonight and we were just unlucky.

Wanting to take advantage of Woods new takeaway service which we do used once or twice before without issue, but this Saturday, after ordering a commodore, was left with a broken tooth and cut mouth due to a large lump of sharp burnt material slap bang in the middle of the burger, I contacted woods on Saturday to be told no manager was available and I gave my details for somebody to call me back Sunday time. Nobody return my call I contacted them again to be told somebody had picked up my number and will be back to me as soon as possible, Monday comes and goes email no response finally get through on Tuesday afternoon to talk to the manager, whose only excuse for not contact me as I wasn't in. Can we get back to you know I haven't read the email and l am insisting that they deal with my complaint as I've had already been waiting since Saturday. He hangs up so when we arrive at the restaurant to confront them face-to-face of which I videoed and threatened with the police because l'm threatening or harassing them because l'm trying to make a customer complaint and he doesn't want to deal with it so he's text the boss who tells him to just call the police. This is how they treat their customers.

Food was outstanding great menu choices!! Portion sizes big (but worth it) very tasty 😋 highly recommend going and if it’s your birthday they bring you your cake (you have to bring it with you) staff welcoming and friendly.

My son chose Woods for his 18th birthday meal and what a great choice. Staff were excellent in the lead up to the meal about dropping balloons etc off and even better service on the night too. Now let’s talk about the food , one word, AMAZING. Best burgers and dude ever, we all had a great meal and stared a great 18th for my son , thank you The Woods.

We were a group of three girls and the tables are very close together we were almost sitting with a couple on there date. It was a bit uncomfortable in the sense that we could hear them very clearly. Also we asked for water and a second round of drinks and were either forgotten or ignored. While it was a Friday night it wasnt busy, as in there were empty tables around. The food is good here and service was fine the first time I came here. Personal preference the dirdy birdy is the best burger.

The place had 7 out of 30 tables empty yet the barman said that he was full to seat us for a burger, and tge he said it was unhelpful. Not worth the time there.

Great quality food, fresh and tasty. A little wait for lunch, I think they made an honest mistake and misplaced the order in the kitchen. But didn't distract from the meal at all.

What a fantastic evening! I’ve heard about this place in the past but hadn’t had the chance to go yet, but this was so much more than I expected. The dirty birdy was one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted, better than any in Worthing. Service was faultless, and the way that Lucas serenaded my wife with his jazz flute topped the whole evening off. Please thank Lucas for this as it made my whole week.

Came here for lunch. I couldn't fault it. Staff were friendly, and the service was quick. Food itself was incredible. Skin on fries are delicious and the burger was incredible. Great selection of burgers but not to many to over conplicate your choice. Now to the real finisher, the milkshake. I had the macaullay culkin, which I must say was unbelievable, it was huge which isn't often the case in burger joints. Overall a great experience and will be back!

Me and my wife were out in Worthing for our 5th wedding anniversary, the restaurant we had originally decided to visit was closed so we headed to The Woods instead and we are so glad we did. It's a lovely little restaurant with a good atmosphere and astonishing food. Because of the time and needing to get back to our daughter we only ordered a side of fries each but lord were they good. A very decent portion size and loaded with flavour, my wife ordered the Porky Bois and I ordered the Parmesan Anderson (which we then swapped 😂). They also custom made my wife a drink (she requested a fanta float) and I had a simple Fanta. I think for the amount of food, I'm pretty happy with the price and the staff were just lovely. 10/10 experience for us and we look forward to going back.

Have been to the restaurant a few times and love it, ordered from Uber Eats for the first time and it arrived piping hot and delicious. Booking a table for next weekend already :-)

Lovely friendly staff! Food was great! Only downside was the manager who was moping around not helping and having a go at his staff which was odd as they were already running round whilst he was just leaning against the counter doing nothing!

Meal for four. Wanted a large portion of wings for the table as a side.....asked for half and half on the sauces as kids didn't want anything spicy. This is the only place I've ever been to that flat out refused that simple request. Instead, I'm told we'd have to buy two smaller portions of each flavour (at a higher price). Given it amounts to the same effort / cost for the kitchen it was enough to change the tone of the evening and impression of the place. Shame, first meal out with the family for a while.

A very disappointing experience. We had made a reservation for a birthday meal. I had requested the birthday candle and sing a long when I booked, and confirmed this with our waitress, we didn't get it, and watched while another table got theirs. The food was disappointing to say the least, the burger was saturated with congealed fake cheese and the patty a disappointing size. I ordered the curly fries with cheese and chives. The curly fries themselves were actually very good, but again the so called cheese was disgusting, an orange, liquidy glue, with an appalling ersatz flavour, which congealed at the bottom of the bowl and a ridiculously small sprinkle of chives. The waitress taking our order was clearly incompetent, we were brought the wrong drinks and had to ask for the correct ones. A very disappointing experience, especially since it was supposed to be a special 18th birthday treat for my son. We went and had our dessert at another restaurant.

Warning ⚠️ the buffalo soulja burger might blow your head off unfortunately the menu wasn’t quite as descriptive, kinda ruined my meal which made me sad because I think this burger joint is actually amazing , still 5* never the less
