Hi there we are huge fans of the burgers from woods however your delivery service is bad sometimes. Prior to your refurb we would go to order at not even a late time and every time your kitchen would be closed and not taking delivery orders. Therefore when we found out that your kitchen would be opening again for delivery we were so excited to try and order. This time however we decided to schedule our order and put in the order at 6:30pm to avoid the kitchen being closed. As soon as we got to our time delivery slot of 8:30-9:00pm we then get a notification saying our order had been cancelled!!! 😡 how are we meant to ever get an order in?!? This has been about the 3rd or 4th we’ve tried to order.

I was part of a group that had made a large reservation at Woods, which was confirmed well in advance. We were all eagerly looking forward to the dinner, but less than 24 hours before our booking, they canceled on us without offering any explanation. This left us in a panic, scrambling to find an alternative at the last minute. The lack of respect for our time and plans was absolutely infuriating. It’s hard to imagine how they would have felt if we had canceled with such little notice. This kind of behavior is completely unprofessional, and we will never be returning.

Had booked a table for a work event well in advance. The Woods cancelled last minute without warning leaving us saying they could no longer accommodate with no other alternative. No apology to be had and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

We decided to celebrate my dad’s 70th last night at Woods! Great service from the two girls who were on shift as soon as we entered the restaurant. They were friendly and helpful, and even moved our table for us when they realised we might have presents/balloons and might need more space. They were efficient and service was really good. As always food was 10/10. Would always recommend and will always end up back at woods when decided where to go for a meal!

Idk If I just got a bad burger but the chicken was overcooked and dry. The skinny fries were just regular looking chips, I would say The Woods is fairly overhyped but maybe I just had a bad burger.

Been a few times now. Really good food and Big portions, which is amazing. Service is always friendly and fast. We have never left the place still hungry! Highly recommend. P.s try the milkshakes, they are brilliant!

Waited a while to be served, the food was not as good as usual

We left after ten minutes without eating! We booked a table for two and when we arrived the place was pretty much empty apart from 3 tables by the window, rather than sit us on one of the many empty 2 seater tables around the restaurant we were squeezed in between two full 4 seater tables, there was barely enough room to slide between the other people’s tables to sit down, and when we sat down we just felt really uncomfortable and felt as though the people sitting either side of us felt the same too. The tables were so close together we literally felt like we had been placed on a table with 7 or 8 complete strangers. For the 10/15 minutes we were sat down (without anyone coming to take our order in an almost empty restaurant) the table next to us were half way through their food but continually being bought out items that had been missed from their order, with several apologies and free items being given as “compensation” for the bad service (these were the waitresses words). When the waitress did eventually come to take our order we got up and said we were going to leave it, she said “I’m so sorry”, I told her it was too cramped and she apologised again then we left! Update: sent an email weeks ago to email address as requested but have received no reply

First time here , friendly staff, food was excellent, well worth a visit , chicken wings were jucy, the burger was tasty and the fries were cooked perfectly. Thanks to all the staff for a great time.

Lovely food as always. Service was lacking even though it was half empty (it was Wednesday) and half the lights were broken. But again, food was lovely, always enjoyable.

Really nice atmosphere and great food. The menu is not huge but catered for all (including gluten free options). Kids burgers were a really good size and the macncheese was yummy. Good staff and not too noisy. Would definitely go again.

Food was amazing, however the server KEEAN as absolutely amazing and accommodating with helping with the order. He was polite and helpful, would highly recommend not only for the food but for the service. thanks KEEAN.

I went to Woods with my daughter tonight. We were greeted by a lovely young lady with dark hair. She was friendly, welcoming, helpful and socially skilled. Just lovely. The food was lovely (we hadn't been for a while but it was as good as it ever was). We had a great evening that was made better by excellent service from the young lady and another member of staff... A young fella with black jeans and a steel chain from his pocket. Both lovely and an asset to the place. Also a shout out to the lovely lady at the bar. All in all a great experience. We will return for sure.

The most amazing serivice I’ve ever received. The staff, tia, Syv and keyan as wait staff and Kaleb the chef were the most attentive, kind staff Ive ever come across and should be recognised for their amazing service. Tips left and will definitely will be coming again. Best burgers and chicken iver ever had, I’ve been here before but nothing like this will be coming again woth all the family. 100% recommended

So I paid £20 for a burger, chips and milkshake. The burger which was over £10 itself, came cold, the milkshake that was £7 was literally frozen, like it had been frozen for a month. The chips were actually amazing so can’t complain about them. Sort it out.

We had been looking for a good burger place for a while and stumbled upon The Woods when in Worthing for a medical appointment. Let's just say that we were not disappointed and will be returning if in Worthing again. The burgers were delicious, the fries cooked to perfect and the service was outstanding. The Woods is a Worthing institute and one of the best burger joints around. Offering a selection of distinct burgers, The Woods will not leave you disappointed. I first visited several years ago and was blown away by their mozzarella sticks. My partner and I have jokingly called them mozzarella bricks ever since that first visit as their sheer size is phenomenal. The burgers themselves are delicious, with perfect flavour combinations. I recently tried the Dirty Birdy; fried chicken on a waffle with cheese, bacon and maple syrup. A classic American combo that can only be improved by being washed down with a Macaullay shake! Featured in the attached photo is their burger challenge. Whilst we certainly didn't complete the challenge, we can confirm that despite the volume of food, the quality and taste does not disappear. The challenge includes a portion of Porky Boi Fries, which might be my favourite thing on the menu! Now, The Woods may be slightly more expensive than your average burger restaurant, however, their food is worth every penny. It is the perfect location for a birthday treat, catching up with friends, or even a date night out. I cannot recommend The Woods enough and when you go and visit, you will understand why!

Update to below review... have returned many times since, sampling most of the menu. It seems to only get better each time?! Amazing food and spectacular service, will definitely return. We had a takeout from them during lockdown which was average (put it down to sweating in the bag in the car on the way home) and promised ourselves we'd give it another go once it opened properly, so glad we did!!

So, the order turned up completely wrong - missing the wings and the sauces on both Buffalo Soulja burgers. They're still getting 5 stars, because not only is it the best damn chicken burger in a 50-mile radius, but they also sent us out free replacements AND refunded the whole meal. Just outstanding customer service to a completely unnecessary level.

The Woods Burger Kitchen is situated in the centre of Worthing. When we visited it was immaculately clean and had very helpful staff. The food did not take too long to be delivered to our table, but it was more separate foods, rather than a meal. It is a ‘street food’ type of experience with good size portions but seemed a bit expensive.

The sign outside the restaurant & the website states that food is served until 3pm but when I walked in with my family at 2pm we were turned away as apparently the kitchen had closed.

Excellent place at the heart of Worthing. Amazing staff and nice atmosphere. We just came in for a burger but ended up with a challenge. One of us made it to the wall 😉. Fantastic mozzarella logs! Highly recommend!!! Definitely back after recovery 😄

This best burger I've ever had. The Col Nathan Jesop burger is a game changer. Who can say no to a camembert bomb and a bit of spice in your burger. The mozzarella sticks and parmasan fries were a great side aswell. Will defo be going again. Thanks

Dined here for the first time this evening. Quiet Wednesday night, booked in the last time slot. Seated quickly and served promptly. Food was quick in service but definitely not lacking in quality. Asked for Carolina sauce in the burger which isn’t the usual, and they were happy to accommodate. I find most places lacking in heat when I’ve asked for spicy food but this definitely didn’t disappoint. My partner also doesn’t eat meat and was really happy with the alternatives served! Honestly such an amazing business! Highly recommend. Will be coming back. Front of house staff were extremely friendly! Thank you!

This was such a great place to get a meal! It was extremely loud but manageable with a corner table. The food was great and the staff were great with adjustments which was very accommodating to my partner’s ARFID, and they offer takeaway containers which is great because the milkshakes are enormous.

Really good burgers. Full of flavour and presented well. Hands suitably messy afterwards so you know it’s good. Cutlery on the table but that’s not for me when it comes to burgers. Good music playing and great vibes from the gang working the table making sure everyone was having a good time. Highly recommend this place as it wasn’t this good 3 years ago when I last tried it.

This was one of our favourite venues to take the kids for great burgers and shakes. Sadly it has really gone downhill over the past few years. Prices are up 50% (most venues have increased their prices) but the Dirdy Birdy portion size has halved and the restaurant is looking really tired. Will not be heading back anytime soon.

Not sure what to say - cold, wet evening in Worthing, with this place recommended. Bit dark; bit cold; bit noisy with booming rock music, so not very welcoming, though staff were doing their best. Three burgers - ‘simple’ Woods burger deemed good; Dirby Birdy chicken deemed OK, but the Commadore - not good - over-cooked with weird jam. House slaw was mostly raw chunks of red cabbage; some onion, but very few bits of apple and sultanas; no mayo - not good either; best avoided, to be frank. On the plus side, the shake was excellent. Amusingly - some regulars came in and sat on next table. Immediately, a heater was found and switched in for them. Guess sums up attitude.

We went as a family of four as a treat during the holidays. The kids milkshakes were enormous so unless you have a ravenous teenager then be warned, they might need to share! (They were flipping amazing though so worth it even if they filled the kids up!) The burgers were delicious and the loaded fries were amazing too but we were glad we shared them as the portion sizes are generous! Service was good and they got the humour of ordering one brownie but four spoons (so glad we did as it was enough for all four of us!) We will definitely go again.

Another great meal at the Woods. The burgers are fantastic and different to what you get anywhere else. Lucas was really helpful and friendly from the moment we walked in. He was there whenever we needed him and Toma was amazing as well, very helpful and attentive!

Really tasty burger, no complaints but added my own hot sauce. Only suggestion is a napkin in take away bag. Otherwise delicious fast and hit every spot !

Wow what a great evening. 11 of us were served our drinks and our orders taken swiftly. We had two coeliacs and that wasnt a problem and we enjoyed a superb meal. Had a trip back to Worthing in Sussex in the week. And all my friends were raving about the burgers at The Woods. So we paid them a visit....OMG the COL NATHAN JESSUP burger with its deep fried camembert bomb hidden inside is frikkin AWESOME. Far and away one of the best burger joints I've been too....and with my expending waistline the way it is, That's saying something. Also try the Parmesan loaded fries...easily enough for two hungry people to share. #allhailthewoods 🍔🍟

If you are ever in the Brighton area and looking for a lovely Burger place, then you need to keep The Woods on your list! The portion sizes here are amazing! The range is great, and the loaded fries are fantastic! But the one thing they don't do anymore, which I miss is the Kraken burger. The staff and service are amazing. Nothing is ever too much, and they are always happy to make recommendations and maybe alternative options to things for you. The shakes here are just amazing! The oreo is my favourite.

The food is amazing and the young girls waitressing do a fabulous job. Shame about the manager Lucas who we saw be rude to the waitress whilst he sat there doing nothing behind the bar on his phone the whole time we were there. The two girls waitressing were run off their feet and he did nothing to help.

Food was good, this was my favourite restaurant, untill a year ago when I last visited and the food had seriously gone down hill. I decided to return yesterday and the food was back to what I remember. Cracking!! The only issue I had is that the music was far to loud. Couldn't really talk between ourselves comfortably.

Not the best experience I’ve had. The food was mediocre and did not warrant the cost. The buffalo Soulja was overdone, most of the staff I found were below par, not all though, they cleaned our table before my wife had finished. Overall not a good first impression.

Excellent food, have ordered from here before and it does not disappoint. Lunch deal was great value for money, burger filled me up, struggled to finish the fries and the drinks were a decent size (and included) all for £10!

Was taken out for dinner here despite feeling a bit poorly, but nevertheless, I enjoyed my pulled pork burger and my two companions thoroughly enjoyed the chicken wings, and burger with camembert cheese and the fries were nice as was the macaroni cheese which was excellent service was also very good

i came in for a burger like a week ago and was horrified to whiteness a young waitress get harassed by this other customer, she was clearly distressed by it, but the worst part was the managers didn’t do anything to help - but just left her! i am shocked and appalled by the management team at this establishment of what otherwise could be a brilliant restaurant. i hope that if i ever come back, this won’t happen again. please look after your staff.

Unreal burger and the fries to die for!!!!!

Wouldn't be my first choice let's just say that the furniture is a little tatty and worn out.

Food and service was absolutely lovely! We both got the waffle burger with maple syrup and oh so good! We were absolutely stuffed and definitely didn't need to order mac&cheese and fries as well to share! Unfortunately it was a bit uncomfortable as the table was one of the metal ones and it was very cold to lean on
