The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in England

Came in tonight for food and was sat on high stools that were so uncomfortable and left with a bad back. The starter was good, but the mains were awful. Our friend had the stuffed chicken and pulled out a very large hair. They did replace the meal and took it off the bill, but the damage was already done. I had the Gunness burger, and the meat was dry and tasteless, and I only ate half of it, did tell the waitress but she just said 'sorry' but to be fair I was already put off from the very long hair that was found. My husband had the bbq burger and again was tasteless and dry. We had spent over £160 on food and drinks and came away very disappointed. I know it was busy, but the standard of food was not good at all, and I think a bit more could have been done

We've eaten here before when visiting Grassington. It was very good in every way the first time and lived up to our expectations. Very friendly service, delicious food, although the soup was so tasty, it was on the cool side. Overall, we'd definitely visit again, when in Grassington. Lovely restaurant setting.

Came to the furnace for a catch up with friends and had a lovely time! Shared a load of small plates which were all delicious and can’t fault the service. Will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely delicious food ! Yet again ! I have frequented this place for about 17 years , and I have to be careful with what I eat , I have not once ever had an issue , they are courteous/considerate/ are above and beyond with customer service, the food is delicious and well my burger that was very very yummy again today didn't even last 3 minutes (I think I should chewy food , I'm sure I inhaled it lol) mine and my families new go to place thank you for the very delicious food

Solo quería recomendar encarecidamente esta joya encantadora de un restaurante y pub se reunió con queridos amigos para una comida y se quedó a ver la increíble Savanna mejor noche de la historia , comida increíble , personal y anfitrión amable , cálido y acogedor , nada era demasiado problema, había sido una tarde muy ocupada temprano , por lo que se había agotado hielo para las bebidas, y Gambas para 2 de opciones en el menú, pero mucho más para elegir en versátil e imaginativa otras opciones, señalando que era cualquier problema para ellos , anfitrión Kane era muy profesional y acogedor . . Sin duda volvería de nuevo con mi familia y lo recomendaría encarecidamente, la reserva es sencilla y se ofrecen descuentos. . la limpieza era impresionante y el detalle en la presentación de la comida era excelente ...

I eat here often - food is alway good but the service is awful from one of the younger members off staff, she is rude, will ignore you and I have been kept sitting waiting for a long period of time before I even get served.

Booked the Sunday roast for 4 people at 4pm today. Got there and there was barely any starters left, no beef roasts and one lamb left. When I asked for the lamb I was told no they need to see if someone else wants it first… why say you have lamb then. So was left with a chicken roast option only. None of the group wanted this and were told ‘we should have booked for earlier as this happens every week’. Why advertise it until 6pm and if you know the popular meats sell out why not stock more if this is the norm? We ended up leaving as there was no options we wanted and going to the steak house round the corner… fully stocked and friendlier staff.

We first visited Kkini in May 2023 to celebrate a family birthday. We loved the simple, yet stylish decor and the service. Most importantly, the food was delicious and great value. In fact, we loved it all so much that we have visited about ten times since then, bringing several friends who have, without exception, been equally impressed. A fantastic neighbourhood restaurant.

Realmente ocupado cuando entré pero el personal se ha convertido en un buen arte, recibiendo órdenes y rompiendo con sus trabajos. Tomé un sarniw de ensalada de pollo con mayo y no podía creer cuánto pollo había dentro. Estupendo. También tenía una rebanada enorme de pastel de hadas, ni siquiera puedo decir que era caro porque el tamaño de la rebanada significaba que fácilmente habría hecho 2 personas. Mi visita a una tienda fantástica y definitivamente no será la última.

The best Turkish restaurant and excellent service

Not worth the tiktok hype unfortunately We travelled 40’mins to try. Good was hit and miss - some of it was good but most pretty bland. Pleasant service but v slow.
