I've grown up around this area so this is my local kebab. You don't know how good it is until you go elsewhere. You won't find a spot on donor kebab like the NEG does. And I'm yet to come across a kebab shop that does such a good accompaniment salad. Keep it up gents

Took ages to serve me, despite no other customers being there. Ordered chicken doner. The chicken was greasy it was leaking on the bus home through the box. The Portion was the only positive thing I had to say. The staff were not friendly at all. They didn't seem to like the fact I knew the food wasn't good compared to other Turkish places I mentioned. When I asked for certain authentic condiments. They didn't like it cos I wasn't Turkish, asking me where I'm from like thugs on a council estate. Won't be going back.

They charged me twice for my meal and I couldn't find an email to contact , as I'm outside the UK, GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY

Used to come here all the time and Normally a decent chicken kebab/wrap here. But on last visit staff couldn't understand my basic requirements of well done crispy doner meat and kept trying to sell me the meat keeping warm in the pot? Obviously that's not crispy in there! Better options in the area.

Just moved into the area and ordered a kebab at New Eltham Grill, I can say it was the best kebab I have ever had and it will be my regular place for my takeaways from now on! The staff are very friendly and excellent at preparing the food quickly. If you haven’t tried yet, give them a chance you won’t regret it :)

Just near New Eltham station, ordered shish kebab large, it was delightful and sufficient for one person. Recommend it!

One of the best burger & chips I've ever had! I had a 1/2 pounder with just cheese & onion - perfect, soft bun too. Usually I am not a fan of kebab shop chips but these were actually really tasty!

Meat tasted off, bought a number of kebabs and the 2 lamb shish both with the same foul tasting meat. Surely four of us all tasting the meat and concluding that it was foul and inedible is a cause for concern. We made a complaint but was given the old cliche ‘nobody else has complained’ which doesn’t invalidate my complaint. The fact that my complaint wasn’t taken on board or taken seriously I wouldn’t want to use this place again. The meat concerned was defintely 100% off and not fit for consumption but this wasn’t accepted when we tried to address it with the shop which is a great shame.

Honestly best kebab shop in the area.. always fresh, always a good service. Highly recommended local business.

This is the worst kebab shop I have ever been to they charged me £17 for meat and chips no salad or sauce the food was cold and undercooked when I called them the owner was so rude I could not believe it I was vomiting all night please stay away from these disgusting people

After being recommended I give a three star due to kebab being so greasy that it leaked through bread, box and paper wrap and the chilli sauce doesn’t even taste like it had chillies in it

I called to order a regular chicken donor & small chips. Went to collect and the team were calling for a small donor which was mine. I said I called ahead for a regular and the employees looked as if I’d just said something horribly offensive and then proceeded to belittle me. If you don’t serve regulars train your staff to advise this instead of making people feel stupid. Won’t be returning.

Bought the most tastiest kebab I have ever eaten from here. The chips were crispy and well done. No greasy feel. The wait was long though. Can do with more hands on deck.

Not sure where these lot get off on charging £7.50 for a quarter pounder & £16.80 for a chicken Shish!! This is your run of the mill greasy kebab shop ….. Definitely no Meze. Shocking.

Very friendly been coming here for 17 years but just lately you get told 20 mins go to shop and still wait 45 minutes more than told and food cold

The staff were friendly and even gave my sons a lollipop each.. that was very thoughtful of them. Food portions are a lot and tastes great.

Really busy Friday and Saturday evening's so you generally have a little wait but really worth it. The meat is of good quality and cooked perfectly.

Best chicken shop chips I've had. Unfortunately they don't sell wings which is why it lost a star. Friendly customer service and the chicken nuggets were good.

Having eaten food from here for a couple of years now I thought it worth mentioning their good service. My orders have always been made up correctly on collection and the food is (in my opinion) very nice. Always cooked properly and the portions are large. Great team working here.

One of the best chicken shish kebabs I've had for a long time! The portion sizes are generous with big chunks being succulent and flavourful, the salad is fresh and crunchy and having visited plenty of the other kebab spots in a 5 mile radius, I'd say this one is hard to beat on the chicken shish alone.

Must be on of the worst Take Aways I've ever had. It was Cold, the Order was Wrong. I asked for no Chillies and Garlic Sauce. They Gave me Chillli Sauce with Chillies. I Ordered a Lamb Shish. It was Tough and like it was cooked yesterday. The chips were cold. I wouldn't go there again if it was the last place on earth. Yuk. How they can charge that amount is beyond me. My fella had a Burger and Chips. Same for him. Cold and like rubber.

Very popular Turkish kebab house serving quality fare with generous portions. Expect a wait during peak times Friday and Saturday evenings.

Had an amazing chicken doner wrap from here. Food was spectacular as usual, nice and hot and served fresh by the friendly staff that work there.

Best kebab shop by miles. Big portions. Perfectly cooked chicken shish that's full of flavour. Price unbeatable for what you get and all the guys are polite friendly and very accommodating. A+ and would recommend without hesitation.

Lovely place. 16 years and all my life I've been going. Every time I visit they have been very friendly, always give me a cushty kebab and I frequently order a small Donner and its a lot of meat for a small plus its very tasty. 100% recommend best kebab shop in New Eltham.

Been using New Eltham Grill for a few years and with out a doubt best food and service in the area. Chicken Shish wrap a clear favourite for me with the best and freshest salad.

2 small lamb doners both meats were stretchy and tough to eat. The meat is full of grisle. Terrible. How are they doing business is beyond me.

I always order here and it never disappoints me. Kebab is always quick and delicious. However today I found a massive bit of clear plastic in my food which wasn't very pleasant. Not saying I won't order from here again, I just want the chefs to be a lot more careful with food preparation.

This has now become my local after trying all other Kebab restaraunts in the area. Food is always spot on. They are generous with their salad and a bunch of friendly guys. Could do with updating the seating area though!

We have been coming here for over 20 years and it’s the best kebab takeaway for miles, even comparing against all the new restaurants that have opened which charge far more and offer far less. The food here is fresh and prepared in front of you and always get generous portions. There’s plenty to choose from and the only negative is that it’s so popular it’s often busy so but if a wait, but still able to ring through an order for collection. There’s no direct delivery service and think that’s not a bad thing as when collecting direct it’s just cooked so still pipping hot.

This place is the home of 5he best kebabs and staff to serve it ever. The meat is cooked to perfection and the staff lovely and always smiling. You might want to phone ahead on Saturday and Friday evening as they do get busy. Always go there and always will.

Food is always good here and always a good service

Always great chicken doner wraps, tasty and quick to serve. These guys are always smiling and friendly. The place is always busy which is a good indicator of a place enjoying many return customers. I have seen people ringing their number, placing a food order and later coming to collect. Not sure if they do delivery as I have never had to call the kebab shop in order to order food. If they don’t do that maybe a good way of reaching extra customers who wouldn’t normally come down themselves.

My parents live about ten doors away and across the road from this place. Whilst it is a very good kebab shop, I wish google would stop thinking I go there with such regularity.

Best kebab I’ve ever had is from new Eltham Grill . Soft baps. Loads of meat. They don’t force you to have the special sauce

Worst kebab shop I have been to in my life, meat taste old and out of date and on top of that the customer service is appalling. Even if you are dying to eat do not go there. Owners and workers are so rude and seems like they have anger management, one question asked and they talk to you like you have insulted their mum. I repeat DO NOT go there ever, should be put out of business ASAP

Quite good quality but sometimes meat is old and taste old.. Especially in the middle of the week

This place never lets you down and on a Saturday or Friday night make sure you ring and place your order at least 30 minutes before you want to pick it up. Best kebab in the area by a long shot. Get the mixed platter for about £19 it’s the nuts good for three hungry mouths with a portion of cheesy chips you might get four out of it.

Long wait. Half an hour over the stated half an hour tonight. Also, forgot chilli sauce on my 'chicken shish with everything'.
