We often order take aways from here and tonight we've waited over 90 minutes for our order. I called to chase, was put on hold without being told I'm going on hold, told it's with the driver. No apology for the delay. What's wrong with being polite to loyal customers? I ordered on the 4th of August and had a complaint about the meal. Sent an email and never got a response....

Had dinner with some friends here, one of whom was 9 months pregnant. We were seating on the high tables with tiny bar stools which were hard for me to balance on, let alone my heavily pregnant friend. We asked if we could move to any of the other empty tables to be told “got not tables”. I appreciate other bookings might have opted for a low table specifically so left it. It took ages to get someone to come over and order food, all staff just stood at the bar chatting and avoiding eye contact. By the time they did come over, another table had left, so again we asked if we could move…. Again met with a ‘no’. My poor friend ate standing up. Again another table left…. We didn’t dare ask a third time… the table remained empty the entire hour more we were there! Not an ounce of care or thought from any of the staff we’d previously asked. The food service staff are lovely but the waitresses and manager are miserable and rude. Next time I will just get a take away!

6 of us went on Sunday 21st , and all opted for the carvery The roast beef was really dry, admittedly it was replaced by better quality slices after we complained (why this wasn’t served in the 1st place I don’t know) The 2 lamb roasts were also dry and chewy, I didn’t complain about these as being my birthday I didn’t want to cause a scene especially as I was with my elderly mother. The 2 roast chickens, were just roasted breast portions which were ok. The pork belly was also severed dry. The amount of meat served on all the dishes was frugal. Apart from the meat on the dishes everything else was fine. Disappointing is the word I would use to sum up. Real shame as we only live across the road

Went to steak night last night. I could not eat the steak as it was too tough to chew, batard onion ring tasted to strong of vinegar won’t be returning. They did give me a 50% of bill.

Had steak night well I could have mended my shoes it was tough the whole plate tasted of vinegar I eat mine because I was hungry.was told it's a cheap cut of meat not good at all.

Fab place to have dinner. We went on a week night with my autistic son. Wasn't too busy early on and service was excellent. They were very accommodating to cook what my son wanted and the grown ups enjoyed the cocktails. I'll definitely go back

Table not ready. Waited outside, but no-one came out to let us know when a table was available. Service extremely slow. The main which two of us wanted not available. Sunday lunch roast chicken was a breast with no skin and very dry. (Other meals fine. Belly pork very good and meaty). Four desserts ordered, but only two served. Had to ask for the others. Decor and ambience good.

Lovely restaurant and great food.

The food was great, however, we did not order starters, but what they called nibbles, from the nibbles list. This consisted of a bread basket and a big bowl of olives. Before we even had a chance to finish this item our dinner arrived. I tried to explain to the lady manager that we would have expected a break, but she replied ‘they are nibbles not starters so come at the same time’. She did not allow me to respond, so I am below. I would understand if the nibbles were say nuts or breadsticks that a break would not be required, but a large bread basket and Olives? This led to a very uncomfortable and rushed eating experience. Please note at Koop and Kraft you are expected to eat your nibbles at the same time as your meal, pick small!

Sadly had a terrible experience last night (valentines day) . We were the second customers in here so not busy at all, and sadly my meal came out hot on the outside and stone cold inside (chicken). It was cooked but obviously precooked. The staff were very apologetic and took it away but it took so long to come back out. We were told 5 minutes but it ended up being about 15/20 minutes, hence why they brought us a complimentary drink. In that time my husband had eaten his meal either that or his would have gone cold as well. We were given a complimentary drink and 50% off my meal however I think they should have taken both meals away and brought fresh out together. I would have rather had a nice meal on valentines day and eaten with my husband, rather than seperately. Sadly we won't be returning.

Waited 2 hours no show. Never going to order from them again. Really unhappy.

I placed an order at 5:30 PM on Saturday night and received a message around 6 PM indicating that it was out for delivery. When I called at 7 PM to inquire about the order, a representative assured me it was on its way with the driver. However, upon calling back at 7:30 PM, I was informed that they never received my order. This lack of consistency and clarity in communication has resulted in a disappointing experience, wasting two hours of my time. It seems I will have to settle for beans on toast tonight due to the poor service provided.

Very nice place. Food and service very good. It was a busy Saturday night, so we had to wait about an hour for our food. Food excellent, almost too much on plate. Staff very helpful. Will go back in the future. Thank you.

A birthday party for our 2 year old grandson. Pre-ordered food so service was quick and the food hot and delicious. The staff were brilliant, attentive, and discrete. Lovely suprise they bought out a cup cake and sang happy birthday to Sam with a candle to blow out. Great celebration.

Have never visited before today, even though we live close by. Decided to hive it a go for Sunday roast as reviews had been good. Absolutely like everything about this place. Decor is fun, service fab( not hurried) & food delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely horrific service all around. Staff are rude and inattentive, just standing at the bar chatting constantly throughout the night, not offering additional drinks to our table, and when we asked for more drinks, acting like we’d asked them to explain the meaning of life; when in reality we just asked them to do their job. All so miserable, with zero etiquette. Really not a good face for this company. No wonder you only post pictures online of your food and not your miserable, rude staff!

First time at this restaurant. We were celebrating my youngest sons birthday and our wedding anniversary. Staff were amazing and looked after us. Food was very qood quality. We can not wait to go back soon 5 stars all day long.

The cheesy chips were delicious and the chicken was good but some pieces were quite hard to chew and a bit tough so let down a bit by the not so good pieces. The garlic bread was not that great but the food arrived hot which is a plus and arrived well on time. Pricey too I feel for a takeaway.

Had an amazing birthday brunch here, service was friendly, food was good and even got a little birthday treat which just made my day - highly recommend!

George , your food as usual was top drawer , there was one slight let down , the concentrated orange juice in the gin and orange was so watery it wasn’t nice We do expect fresh juice ! as a mixer not concentrated !!! But still deserves a 5* for food Don’t mind paying for quality Ray T

Came here as a table of 5. The service was spot on the whole time. We were never left without a drink. Everyone loved thier food. I had the lamp rump it was tender i didnt need any sauces. The deserts are also very tasty. A few peoe ordered just a scoop of ice cream and got a hug bowl. All I would say is its a shame they dont take tips by card. We all wanted tip but had no cash on us. Felt this was unfair on the wonderful staff as they had earned it.

Two dinners turned up one correct the other not, had to wait a while before it was put right. Started to eat my homemade coleslaw which look delicious until I found a dirty great long grey hair in it. This put me off the rest of my dinner. Couldn’t eat the rest, was offered 50% off the burger, which wasn’t eaten anyway. Woopee do. Check you dinner for long grey hairs before you eat.

had to wait a while for food the poor waitress looked like she was on her own and did her best. the food was not great we had t-bone pork streak and it was very tough I will not go again,also the table was very sticky the whole place looked grubby.

Went for a birthday meal, staff were very friendly, food was amazing. They even gave me a dessert with Happy Birthday on.

Had heard the takeaway food from Koop+Kraft was so tasty! So booked a table to eat in , service was fast but could of been a bit more friendly, meals arrived quite quickly and we started eating, unfortunately we found a long hair in the coleslaw! So that put a bit of a dampener on eating the rest of our meals, we called them over and they were very apologetic and offered a discount of the bill , the food was very nice but the hair did ruin the taste some.

Second time here… found by chance the first time! And the second visit did not disappoint. Staff so welcoming, and food is exceptional, had breakfast both times and probably one of the best breakfasts we have ever eaten- clearly the chef puts love and attention into their cooking…. See you again soon for a Sunday roast!

Order wasn't put through so never recieved it until an hour and a half later. They did compensate us with pudding which was nice however the chicken was so chewy it was inedible so ended up In the bin anyway! Expensive for the bad service and the quality of food I'm afraid.

Had a meal on Saturday for my father in laws 80th birthday. Staff were amazing and nothing too much trouble. Food was just amazing, great choice and quality and presentation was very impressive. Thanks to all staff at Koop and Kraft for making his birthday memorable 😊😊😊

We visited on Sunday evening, the restaurant was 1/3 full, so not at all busy (just as well)... After being seated we waited 10 minutes for someone to take our drinks order, then another 10 minutes for drinks to arrive and our food order taken.... We waited, and waited, and after 25 minutes (45 minutes after sitting down) the waitress came over to see if we wanted more drinks. Instead I asked where our food was and after checking she said that after the table next to us was served their food we were next - the table that arrived 20 minutes after us, but now their food was coming first.... After another 15 minutes another waitress came over to say we would be 5 minutes, turned out to be 10 minutes, so after 1 hour 15 minutes we finally got our mains.... When I book a table for 6pm it's sort of because I'm expecting to eat maybe around 6:30pm, not and hour and a quarter after I sat down. Overall we were there 2 hours, of which 30 minutes was eating food..... Maybe it's a ploy to sell overpriced drinks. The staff seemed clueless, it wasn't busy, so only they know why the massive delay. It's not like anyone really even appreciated we'd been waiting so long and were proactive in managing it - had I not have asked where was our food at 45 minutes I'm sure we'd have still been waiting another hour later, and I don't expect tables arriving 20 minutes after to get their food 20 minutes before us..... And after the wait the food was mediocre too, my blue cheese burger was, for £15, insultingly small and quite salty, the sweet potato fries of two of our meals were burnt, and the Dirty chicken was more coating than chicken making it really claggy, as were the halloumi squares. For what worked out in the end £20 a head I really expect higher quality food than this. A trendy interior doesn't make up for unacceptably slow service, poor food and high prices. Of course, this could have been an unfortunate one off, but I doubt it. I certainly won't ever be visiting again to see if we were just unlucky.....

Food quality was great delivery on time but the burger was missing the bacon. Still tasty though.

Booked brunch for a Father’s Day treat for my lovely dad, as soon as we walk through the door at 11:45am, we are told we only have 10 minutes to order brunch and then it goes to the main menu - considering it was originally booked for 10:45am but it was the restaurant that changed it! So after looking at both brunch and roast menus, we decided to have a roast instead as it was 12pm lunchtime. When the waitress comes over, she tells us that actually roasts don’t start until 1pm so we can only have brunch, so we put an order in for brunch even though she had told us previously we could have a roast. (2 of these were eggs royale until 5 minutes later, the waitress comes back to say that they have now run out so my mum and brother had to choose something else!) While eating our food, we see the table behind us have been brought out 4 roast dinners! When we queried this, the waitress went on to tell us that actually we could have a roast and she just got confused with the times, yet continued to tell other various tables that they couldn’t have roast dinners, even though there was a table eating one!! Always enjoyed coming to Koop and Kraft for evening food and drinks but this has put a big downer on our previous experiences. Staff extremely unorganised and quite frankly didn’t have a clue what was going on!

I have been here multiple times and on all occasions the food has been absolutely dreadful. The waitresses are superb, efficient, attentive, knowledgable, but that is as far as the positives go. On the first occasion I ordered the chicken wrap, this came out and the tenders in the wrap were rock solid, almost unchewable. The chips were mediocre, not hot, not cold, not really any crunch to them either, but the horrendous chicken stole the show. The second time I had the chicken burger, as I was told by employees that this chicken would be better as they prepped it differently now. This wasn’t true in the slightest. Their chicken is rock solid, clearly too worried about undercooking that they massively overcook. How can somewhere that prides themselves on their chicken be so terrible at cooking it. I also know many other friends who have had the same experience with for awful food from here. Along with other reviews posted. I will not be dining here again.

We ordered 2 burger meals one with chips and the other with Tater Tots and the burgers which were different were in the wrong boxes.

I normally like koop + Kraft but today it was awful the ribs and mash was horrible never normally like it

Had never been to this restaurant and was really looking forward to it. The service & atmosphere was 2nd to none, however the food wasn’t the best. Flat iron beef and the lamb were tough and very disappointing.

Where to start...? A great atmosphere along with a friendly greeting at the door is a good start for sure, which is exactly what you get. The food was lovely and the cocktails are equally, pretty bloody special. Encouraged to to take a seat and relax while the waitressing staff professionally waltz around the floor with smiles on their faces helps set the tone. Leya was our waitress one evening and was especially fun to jest with and made her job seem effortless by making you feel comfortable and very welcome. Friday nights may also include some pleasantries in the form of live music. To conclude... •Good food •Naughty Cocktails •Friendly staff •Live music •Leya is the best •Good times

Had breakfast here on a Saturday morning and it was quiet, only one other table occupied. The breakfast was pretty good, nice full English, good pancakes and the waffle lovely as well. Service was very good, attentive but by no means overbearing. We didn’t mind the fairly long wait for food because we knew it was bring cooked fresh. Coffees could do with a bit of work however. No decaf coffee available and cups in general too small. The meals we thought were quite reasonably priced - will be back.

Family Christmas day dinner here the staff were amazing and friendly service was excellent and food was perfect lovely relaxed unhurried atmosphere we would all recommend and dine here again soon.
