Really delicious first time ordering from here, had chef recommendation with king prawns it was like homemade so fresh !

Curry was really watery but the rest was nice

Arrived nearly half hour late. Balti container was literally half empty and the mint sauce I paid for filled a tablespoon

4/5 star takeaway but a 5/5 star atmosphere, the set up really reminds me of where I live, I.E I mean it looks like my hallway, it looks exactly like my hallway at my flat.

This place is exceptional . The food is always delicious and piping hot. It is takeaway only, and we always collect . The food is always ready at the time they say it will be . This evening we ordered : Poppadoms and chutney's. Mixed Biryani Special , with madras strength sauce. Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi and pilau rice. Tarka Dhal. All faultless and very tasty. The staff are always really friendly and accommodating .

Food would of been better if it was warmer

The food was very very tasty. The only thing that let it down was that it was a almost cold. That said I would order from them again. Lovely flavours.

Food was as awesome as always! Delivery was about 20 minutes earlier then expected.....which was perfect as we were really hungry! The delivery guy was ever so nice and polite too!

Not great..did not like chkn dhansak and garlic nan bread was like a pancake.

I feel very cheated by paying for my take away this evening. If you rate this place, then you definitely don't know anything about Indian food. Completely tasteless & put most of it in the straight in the bin. I've eaten from India takeaways all over the uk, from Bradford/Leeds, Newcastle to India street food Restaurants in Kings Road, London to proper Ruby in Newquay. I feel very cheated by what was served this to me this evening #Never, Never again! Please send your chef to indian food cooking course to dramatically improve.

Food is nice been coming here for a while but just ordered and have been charged £3.00 delivery and 50p for paying by card on top of my meal.

What a fantastic meal one off the best I’ve had in a long time from around Waterlooville. The flavours was great.

Lamb rogan Josh had very tender lamb, and plenty of it. But sauce was bland and tasteless. Starters and Nan bread were Luke warm. Food arriving 30 Mins early was actually an issue.

Nice curry, don't get the garlic naan though , it's basically bread and garlic paste . Makes ya tongue burn and ya hands stink!!!

My container with the curry in was only half full and cold. The garlic nana bread was just a soggy mess with a garlic mayonnaise just loads all in the middle not even spread over evenly, first time I have ever had one like that before they clearly like to do things on the cheap. I phoned the restaurant and the owner was no help at all and didn’t offer me anything, he said he was busy and ended the call. I will NOT be getting another curry from there again.

Normally the food is very good , but it wasen't that brilliant this time, prehaps an off day.

Sadly the naan breads were really soggy and doughy - the curries were cold and tasteless , cold chips . Not good sadly.

I have been using Purbrook Spice (a.k.a. Purbrook Tandoori) for many, many years. (At least 30 methinks) Still my Indian Takeaway of choice.

The garlic naan was an ordinary naan bread smothered in some kind of garlic sauce - I’ve never seen this before and it was inedible. My main course of Garlic Chilli Chicken masala was edible - 5/10 - but for £8.99 there was very little meat so not good value, also I could not find any discernible pieces of garlic or chilli. There are far better meals to be had elsewhere so we won’t be ordering from here again.

Average curry. I think if you roll out of the woodman at 11pm after 6 to 8 pints you’ll lap this up, but sober as a judge this was a very average curry. My Fiancée ordered from here as the regular Indian we use wasn’t open, we had a chicken patia which for me lacked in flavour, the base sauce they used was the same I’ve had from a couple of other Indians that also didn’t hit the spot. They were friendly when I collected but the food just missed the spot.

Our food was very tasty, although it was a bit greasy.

We all know how horrible hospital food is, so I ordered a takeaway tonight and had it delivered to me in hospital. The food was amazing, very hot and the onion bhajis are the best I’ve had in years from any Indian takeaway. The delivery man was extremely friendly and delivery was prompt, would highly recommend this takeaway and will definitely use again.

I wish this place would be more consistent with the quality of their food. Have had some lovely meals but some shocking ones too. Gave them another chance last week after a bad experience and had a lovely CTM tonight the massala was watery with solidified floating bits of hard cream... won't go here again

The meal was a delivery not an in restaurant service - so the full star rating is because there is no Not Applicable option. The meal itself..... was alright overall, but we are yet again disappointed with the stingy amount of actual meat in the meals a mere 8 average sized cubes of chicken in each dish. Also as we ordered kashmiri we were expecting it be quite fruity but again the portion was very light on the fruit side of things too. What we did have was an excess of sauce.......not ideal really. The pineapple rice was awesome - never had it before but will definitely be having that again! Overall the meal was as marked above ...alright.

Finally I have found my new regular!!! So much better than all the others in the area!!! Reasonably priced and very tasty!! Love love love it!!!

Food was 45 minutes early so we had to keep it warm before we could actually eat it. When we phoned to ask for the curry to be redelivered at the correct time they couldn't do this. They said next time we order we could have money off but that doesn't help the money we have wasted on a meal that had to sit in our oven for almost an hour. The food was OK but would have probably been nicer fresh.

I ordered my meal and some extra Bombay potato, I told the person on the telephone explicitly NO TOMATO AS IM ALLERGIC. The food arrived and low and behold i opened the bombay potato and stuck my thumb into a nice big juicy chunk of fresh tomato, i had to quickly was my hands and use my EpiPen. When I called about the mistake the gent on the telephone said he would make another and get it to me as soon as he could as he was busy and hung up. 40 minutes later he came to my door with the dish In his hands like nothing had happened. I said wed already eaten the rest of the order without the side dish we'd paid for and we dont want it and the time span between meal to correction was too long, to which I was told 'now I know your like this if you try to order again we wont accept it ty' and he left. Disgusting customer service and as a loyal customer of at least 1 meal week we shall be looking elsewhere from now on. Such a shame but I will not be treated with such rudeness and flippant attitude.

Fantastic food great contactless delivery

Poppadoms were stale and all the food had leaked out into the bag. The rest of the food was fine which is why I have given 5 stars.

Food was good and on time great service

30 minutes early but that suited us perfectly. Food was even better than last weeks order and we have now found our local Indian which we will order from every time !

I have used here a few times before but my last order last night was not that pleasant. The bhajis were very dry and hard . I ordered the chicken tikka main which was not how it’s usually served , the chicken was very dry and over cooked , and came with no salad. My son had chicken dansak and again chicken was extremely dry. We were having our sons round for an evening and it was less than enjoyable really. I just felt the whole meal had been sat around for some time before it got to us

Was lovely meal unfortunately the naga, chicken said it came with rice so only orders rice for me only to find no rice with it little disappointed as it was £8.99 and stated with rice all together £30 order with only one rice that I payed for separately also payed £2.99 for bottle coca-cola (£1.60) at shop only to be given Pepsi I mean if I wanted pepsi I would have chose that but i didn’t payed card so not much could do about it 😔

I thought I would try my most local Indian takeaway for a change. Food was delivered below Lukewarm. Nan breads were soggy and wet and the garlic nan was particularly bad. I presume from being left in the packaging for too long hot. The curry's were okay in taste. My shish kebab was dry in texture. Delivery was in the time stated but over one hour 10 mins. when I live 2 mins away. I will stick with my original Indian takeaway.

Possibly the worst “chicken tikka masala” I’ve had, food was lukewarm when it arrived, sauce didn’t taste of anything. Garlic naan, was naan bread smothered in garlic mayo!! Really! Definitely won’t be gating takeaway from here again

Only went in for cans of diet coke.£3.25. And it was Pepsi. Not to be sold separately on the cans hahahaha

Was a lovely Indian, may be a little more flavour in the sauces, but best takeaway Indian and will definitely use again.

Ordered chicken korma and it had far to much coconut in it, the poppadoms was soggy not very happy.

I had a delicious biriani that was just the right amount of spice and perfectly crisp popadoms, very happy 😃

Spicy poppadoms tasted burnt. It wasn't the best korma I've had but it was good. Their Naan is gorgeous! Very small rice portions though :(
