Solo quería recomendar encarecidamente esta joya encantadora de un restaurante y pub se reunió con queridos amigos para una comida y se quedó a ver la increíble Savanna mejor noche de la historia , comida increíble , personal y anfitrión amable , cálido y acogedor , nada era demasiado problema, había sido una tarde muy ocupada temprano , por lo que se había agotado hielo para las bebidas, y Gambas para 2 de opciones en el menú, pero mucho más para elegir en versátil e imaginativa otras opciones, señalando que era cualquier problema para ellos , anfitrión Kane era muy profesional y acogedor . . Sin duda volvería de nuevo con mi familia y lo recomendaría encarecidamente, la reserva es sencilla y se ofrecen descuentos. . la limpieza era impresionante y el detalle en la presentación de la comida era excelente ...

Muy buen servicio, el personal agradable y servicial, aunque se olvidó de la junta especial, la comida muy buena. Si criticara me gustaría ver una mejor selección de cervezas

Vino por viejos dorados por segunda vez ya que la primera vez fue encantador. Tuvimos el mismo camarero maravilloso que la última vez llamado Joshua, nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos y nos cuidó mucho. La mitad de pescado y patatas fritas son preciosos y el pudín de toffee pegajoso era hermoso y suave. Volveré de nuevo

Elegido menú de viejitos dorados - cóctel de gambas - filete con patatas fritas - dos mitades de patatas fritas de pescado y guisantes - pastel de naranja de chocolate con helado - pastel de queso alveolar - todo muy bueno - el personal es genial

¡Qué excelente hallazgo para una cena de aniversario! La comida de Anton era excelente, con grandes tamaños de porciones y el servicio de Hayley era genial! Encantador ambiente cálido y sin duda lo recomendaría! Gracias de nuevo : )

The Chef makes this place. The food is SO good. The staff are friendly and helpful. I've been here several times and have yet to have a bad meal

OK we had the lion burgers which were nice served with chips and coleslaw but the chips came ready salted so one of the party was unable to eat them. Orginaly just popped in for a drink and seemed to be the only ones in but oh my the barman was totally disinterested and verging on being unfriendly saying well people usually order food and his attitude did not alter the whole time we were there. We were looking to buy a house in the area and that would have been our local but apart from reasonable food would not visit for the atmosphere

Excellent, food great, service great. Plate empty , even did bread and butter for my husbands chip butty making. We will be back.

Pre ordered on Thursday for Saturday as there were 13 of us.. one of the meals was unavailable so one person had to change the food. We waited an hour and a half for our mains. My husband ordered fish and chips and it was so small it was a joke my naan which I paid an extra £2 for was a quarter of one naan. They tried to rectify it but my husband was so pissed off he wouldn't accept another portion

Do yourself a favour and visit this place for dinner. We took a chance and were delighted to share a wonderful Greek Night with music, dancing and great food. We can't wait to go again.

Food was amazing had alot to choose from and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great money was definitely spent well and will definitely be visiting again soon

Our meal arrived 50 minutes after ordering. The seasonal vegetables consisted of a bowl containing a piece broccoli a few beans and a piece of cauliflower and a lot of brussels sprouts all well over cooked. Not a good dining experience. I don't think we will return.

Had a wonderful meal. Great portion sizes and the steak I had was cooked to perfection. I absolutely recommend the pork belly bites for starters. Everyone enjoyed their meals. All extremely flavoursome. Would deffo recommend as somewhere different to go.

Had an excellent meal this evening. All three of us had burgers. They were cooked very well & presented nicely. Food was very tasty. The service was very good & the staff were friendly & welcoming. The only reason I have not given five stars is it was rather cool in the restaurant. We will definitely return.

We went for a family meal after visiting in April 23. The food then and the menu was superb. Tonight however it was just mediocre food. Looked like there was only 2 people on duty and not that many in really but they looked like they was struggling to provide a good service. Which is not their fault that’s down to management. The meal was just so basic nothing special on it at all. The food was ok. without salad on every meal you have nothing on the plate. Waste of money . I will not be visiting again. I did actually give feedback But they just not bothered what you think or feel really.

We came for a quick drink at the weekend and decided to come back for the Tuesday steak night. We both had the fillet steak, which tasted great. The price was really cheap for amazing quality food. The staff were really friendly and looked after us. Highly recommend.

I went with my friends and was served by Casey. She was super helpful and made sure that we all had everything we needed. She was very friendly and made it an enjoyable visit!

We have visited The Lion twice in the past week . Enjoyed it so much with our friends the first time, we returned today with my father. Excellent food. My Dad has dietary requirements which were well catered for . We were very well looked after by Chloe . Her cheery manner was a delight and nothing was too much trouble . All in all very enjoyable .

Went for lunch on a Wednesday, only a handful of people eating, the menu choice was pretty poor, opted for ham egg & chips which came on a very small plate & consisted of 1 slice of thin ham with egg on top & about 8 chips, it was tasty but my 2 year old grandson could have eaten all that. It wasn’t cheap either, definitely not worth the money. Really need to review the portion sizes The venue has been beautifully renovated & has a lovely outside area for families.

Anton, Andy and his team serve up the best food, some of the best we have had for a long time, Anton is a great talent the food he serves up is unbelievable this is a must visit. The one thing that is impressive Anton and Andy really care and have a real passion, coming out the kitchen to see how your meal is, nothing is to much trouble, if you don’t try you are missing out.

Family meal out tonight, lovely decor, made a fabulous job on the refurb. Service by Josh was superb, he looked after us well. Very friendly. Would certainly return.

Lovely fresh & tasty well presented food at this beautifully refurbished pub/restaurant. A place for couples & families, with a safe, well planned play area at the end of the Car Park to keep the little ones happy. There is a nice atmosphere here created by friendly staff. We couldn't fault the food prices & would definitely recommend.
