Excellent local team, managers and the rest of the team were very supportive, helpful and intuitive to ensure that we had smoothly run birthday party. Food quality was good as was the cricket experience. I must say initial discussions with head office put me off slightly from putting on a child’s birthday party as they didn’t come across very accommodating. I think this could’ve been subverted if I was allowed to speak to the local manager who was very accommodating on the day. Having everything centralised does not always work well. The local team really looked after us. Highly recommend.

Net session was great fun, but service was terrible. Waited over 50min for brunch , which never arrived. Understaffed. Under prepared

Visited a few weeks ago for some cocktails. Young girl behind the bar was lovely, really nice chilled evening watching the sunset with some cocktails, will be back, Thanks.

Turned up for our session at 10:45pm little did we realise we had accidentally booked for 10:15! Staff were super accommodating letting us play for 15 minutes before the next group turned up. We sat for drinks after our session and Tamara let us know we could have our additional 30 minutes after the next group left! The staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had the full session! A great night and fab staff! Will be returning again.

We had a great experience. The staff are amazing, so helpful and make the whole thing more enjoyable. The location is great as you are in the mailbox with plenty of places to go before and after and a 5/10 minute walk from the train station. We also had food and it was really good. Couldn’t say a bad word about it. Would definitely recommend to anyone, even if you’re not really into cricket.

Friendly staff, our waitress Emily couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. Nets were a great experience. We all really enjoyed ourselves, and we will be back next time we visit Birmingham.

Great night, so much fun and something different. We were really well looked after by the team, who kept us “well oiled” and set the game up simply. Loved it

We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was such a lovely way to end the week. I was dubious as I’ve not played cricket since school (a loooong time ago), but my partner and I had the best time. Vary explained how the game worked and we were batting in no time. We loved the feedback and interactivity of the whole experience. Whilst we played we were being served drinks too. The cocktail as were surprisingly good. As it’s got a sports bar vibe I didn’t think they’d be up to much, but there were fantastic. We also had some burgers afterwards and they were super tasty. The chicken burger was thigh meat, making it moist and flavoursome. I had the spicy prawn burger and it packed a punch! If you don’t do heat, pass on that as it does have a good kick. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was friendly. There were families with lots of kids, couple having a drink and watching the footie on the TV screens, friendship groups…a place for everyone. We will definitely return.

We popped in for drinks and a snack to see what the batting look liked for a future visit. This did look fun however I wouldn’t recommend going for food. Almost £8 for 4 chicken wings or a couple of small skewers was a bit excessive! Drinks were ok but you can’t really go wrong with a bottle of wine!

Had a lovely time at Sixes. The batting was a lot of fun and had nice drinks too. The service was great. We were served by Sue and Liam and had a great time. Thank you.

Avoid avoid avoid. What an awful place. Under staffed. Awful beer and rubbish food. Not helped when they say they will start you on the nets, but then continue to serve other customers beers above you. Then when we could start, all put on one team rather than individually Then the Internet crashed. So not only was our game paused. They couldn't serve drinks. Nor did they add the time to game as they were fully booked. Food was awful. Cold buns with a cheap burger thrown in it. Salty chips to make you drink. There are better places to have a group do..oh and they add on a service charge for the poor service too

Saturday July 16 me and three friends went for drinks at about 7pm. The outside terrace was lovely so we thought it would be a great place for a sun downer. I sat outside with three friends and we waited and waited for some service. Eventually after about 20mins I went in to ask if anyone was serving outside ( they were apparently, just not us) there were three girls chatting by bar and when I asked someone did immediately come and take our order. We ordered two large glasses of red and two soft drinks. In fairness the drinks did not then take too long. Unfortunately two out of four were incorrect and because of that the bill was.. I pointed this out, the drinks were rectified but we waited LONG time for the bill to be sorted. Eventually someone came, was unable to deal with it but said they would get someone who would. A very nice girl came and was very apologetic to us and refunded the differrence in the drinks. I thought that was that but something wasn't right, and when I looked AGAIN I found they had STILL left the service charge for an order that wasn't right which I thought was VERY cheeky. ( The fact that anyone charges service charge at ALL for drinks which I had had to chivy them into serving us in the first place and then the audacity of refunding the drinks and NOT the service -( which was nearly four pounds.. between the mistake and the service I would have been nearly £15 out of pocket.. hence the title of the review) - fair blew my mind and I was furious. At this point I went and spoke to, in fairness a really lovely girl at the bar.. (credit where credit is due, she was mortified..and offered us refils, which we did have) who could not have been more apologetic. She seemed to be the only one who had much in the way of gumption. The girl who origninally mistook our order seemed to have no training in wine at all and problems with the hand helds so didn't offer us much in eye contact when taking order. The wine was fine and the terrace was lovely, but please PLEASE train your waiting staff to be au fait with the wines on your list or at least be confident enough to confirm with a guest if they are unsure.. would have saved some unpleasantness. Only upside was the girl ( sadly whose name I didn't get so cannot name check her) who admitted she was "super embarassed and you're totally in the right"..To be honest ANYONE can make a mistake, it happens, i waitressed for years and I am pretty sure I did.. but to leave people for about 20 mins without even asking if they needed anything or if busy saying "guys I have seen you, I won't be long" is pretty rubbish, and what REALLY got us incandescent being asked if we "wanted to keep the white and then order more red" ( err no, that's why we ordered red) and having to chivvy for a refund and when finally done, to find the service charge ( what service at that point?) STILL In place.... Yes we were given two additional free glasses of red which is basic customer service but it was embarassing for me and my friends and dampened a birthday day out..

Had a family visit last night for my son’s 21st birthday. Venue has great upstairs position overlooking the canal near The Mailbox. Nice welcome when checking in and everything about how to play explained to us. Had an hours play which was great fun and then some food. All the food was cooked really well very fresh and really tasty. Big thanks to Cory who looked after us so well all evening

Alex was unreal. Great service. Had a brilliant birthday would 100% come back here again. Service was perfect!
