Similar to Sarchnar Shwarma on soho rd , went for iftaar. Was very busy. Lamb kebabs were nice but no spicy meshwi option. Lamb kuzi was okay but not as good.

Unfortunately when we arrived, only a few different items was available Ordered some chicken tikka and lamb kebabs Both items tasted average at best, the last time we ate here, the chicken tikka was full of flavour so was alittle disappointed that the taste had changed considerably.....

Had to literally stand for about 30 minutes and no one took my order even though they kept telling me to wait 1 second. They are very disorganised and unprofessional. Went to a better grill just up the road from them.

I was one of the first customers to visit Mamoosh when it first opened. It was a quite distinguished place to dine in, with a polite staff including Aras, who has since left the restaurant. I remained loyal to this restaurant for quite a long time as I really enjoyed the Kurdish cuisine. However, a new staff member seemed absolutely incompetent, not understanding their role and behaving utterly rudely as well! My last visit was a disaster. I had to wait for half an hour, waiting to be given my take-away order that was already prepared and packaged. None of the staff informed me that it was ready for pickup. It wasn't just a lack of English proficiency; it was also a lack of basic etiquette.

This is a fantastic homely ang family run restaurant. Never let down by the dishes and always fresh. Love thr aubergine dish with rice. Highly recommended and the Ayran is best in town!

That’s wonderful food very food

Phone ordered mix shawarma for collection picked it up within 5 mins. Cold! Already made naan, not fresh! Meat was room temp/cold even though i asked for it to be well done! Must have given me the left over cuts left at the bottom of tray and salad just contributed to temperature to be cold! Annoying!! called back and all I got was a “sorry brother” no solution!, no bring it back and we’ll sort it out!!, no we’ll look after you next time!!!, nothing!!!! If your happy to take my money then provide a fair exchange!!!!! Foods decent here, but these guys just look after their own people!! It’s a shame really. Alton up the road MUCH better place!

Despite being a longtime friend of the owner, I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Mamoosh Grill House. The service was abysmal, with rude and unhelpful staff who seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to customers. To make matters worse, the prices for their dishes were exorbitant, leaving me feeling ripped off. Avoid at all costs!

I am writing to express our deep dissatisfaction, disappointment and frustration regarding our recent experience at Mamoosh Grill House. I visited your restaurant with a friend, and unfortunately, we had a horrible experience that I feel compelled to share with you. After enjoying our meal, we requested food containers to take the remaining food home. To our surprise, it took over 20 minutes and three reminders to receive the containers. This delay was already quite frustrating, but what made the situation worse was the owner's peculiar body language when we made the request. It became apparent that he was reluctant to provide us with the containers because he preferred to feed his staff with the leftover food. This resistance and lack of professionalism were highly disappointing. When we finally received the containers, they were not even proper containers but bagasse kebab boxes. It was evident that there were other options available for containers, yet we were given these subpar alternatives. Furthermore, the staff member who handed us the containers did so in a disrespectful manner, almost throwing them at us. This lack of courtesy and disrespect towards customers is unacceptable. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and receive prompt and courteous service. Unfortunately, my experience at Mamoosh Grill House fell far short of these expectations. I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to ensure that future customers do not have to endure such a disappointing experience. However, On our second visit, we encountered further issues that have left us extremely disappointed and concerned. Firstly, it took an excessive amount of time for our food to be prepared. Despite being regular customers, it took over 40 minutes and four reminders for our food to be ready, while other customers received their orders in less than 10 minutes. This delay was particularly frustrating, especially considering the number of staff members present. Additionally, obtaining side dishes took an unnecessarily long time, even after multiple reminders. Furthermore, we found it peculiar that the staff at Mamoosh Grill House seemed overly eager to collect our leftover food as soon as possible. On several occasions, we had to remind them that we had not finished eating yet. This behavior raises questions about the use of leftover food, whether it is being used to feed subsequent customers or the staff members themselves. In terms of pricing, we feel that the prices at Mamoosh Grill House are exorbitant and do not align with the quality and service provided. We believe that the prices charged are unjustifiably high. Lastly, I must bring to your attention a concerning incident regarding hygiene. During our visit, we discovered a small insect inside the rice dish. This discovery is deeply troubling and raises serious concerns about the overall cleanliness and hygiene standards of the restaurant. As customers, we expect prompt service, reasonable pricing, and a high standard of hygiene. Unfortunately, our experiences at Mamoosh Grill House have fallen far short of these expectations.

The prices were too high, the service was slow, the atmosphere was noisy with less privacy, quality of food was not as expected.

Order a family platter, the team made it an experience to remember. Very tasty and delicious. Highly recommended Thank you for making it so nice my family had a great evening

We had a mixed grill that feeds 3/4 people for £40. The salad alone was incredible and the different types of condiments were impressive. The amount of food we received was crazy and we even had a dish of dried ice foaming over the table, total holiday vibes and the best Turkish/ kurdish food I've ever had. Was served complimentary baklava and tea to finish, service and atmosphere was professional and friendly. Definitely be back soon.

Visited here for the first time and tried the mix kebab. It was a very generous portion but there wasn’t much taste to it so I wouldn’t have it again however I would go back and try something else from the menu. One major thing I didn’t like was the guy moved chips from the plate to my takeaway container with his bare hands which is obviously very unhygienic. Other than that, when I stepped in I felt like I was on holiday. The staff from the lady at the till to the person serving the food were all absolutely lovely so 10/10 atmosphere. Please just tighten up on hygiene! I will definitely go back again.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was very impressed. The mix grill for 3-5 people was delicious, with all of the meats cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was attentive, checking on us every few minutes to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The price was also very reasonable. Overall, I had a great dining experience at this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal with excellent service.

The kebab shop/restaurant it is one of the few that impressed me in the Birmingham ish area. The food is tasty and good quality, the chicken sheesh is my favourite, for some reason this one has a perfect spices ballance. The reason that I give them 4 stars is because of the lack of rice or some garnish that should come with the meat. You get some salad and bread, but you need rice or potatoes, not a handfull of onions. The dolma is quite poor as well, too dry and sour, lacking of other flavour, but at least they do their own dolma, so I appreciate that. Another downsize is the lack of parking. It is literally a mission impossible to find a parking space in that crowded street. And to finish on a positive note, the restaurant is clean, the bathroom is clean and overall the restaurant has a nice design. I recommend them, try it.

Very family friendly and well designed place. In the heart of Dudley road you’ll find this absolute authentic gem. We were seated and served a nice warming lentil soup straight upon arrival. We then had a quick look at the menu and ordered a mixed grill. We were presented this amazing platter with loads of different meats and rices along side a fresh and delicious side salad. Every bite was a mix of freshness and deliciousness. Our server seemed professional smartly dressed and friendly. The food came in an acceptable time and was piping hot! I’m absolutely satisfied of this place from the service to the bill everything was worth it. Amazing and fresh homemade ayran and I had a whole carafe on my own for how light and scrumptious it was. Definitely worth every penny! 10/10 must try!

Great for amazing grills, always busy on some days, mostly excellent experience, eat-in or takeaway, tea is one pound, Staff should follow menu prices and not confuse on checkout, just say included salad is fine otherwise they charge extra on checkout, cash is good or 50p charge on cards.

Really nice fresh food cooked right infront of you to perfection. It came with a selection of salad and tasted amazing. The prices are reasonable for what you get and the food was well presented and stayed hot until I got home and ate it. I would highly recommend this place for grilled meats on Dudley road.
