This place simply does not disappoint. Whether it is the speedy and friendly service or the beautifully laid out food that fulfills all your cravings, you must visit this place. There are a lot of vegan restaurants that boast being great, yet they lack the key ingredient: simply great food, without anything extra. For a vegan restaurant, I look for comforting flavours that deliver and make me and my tummy happy. I have finally found a place I can openly recommend to everyone. Reasonable prices, great services, friendly atmosphere and food you can actually be happy with. I need to go back here, asap. You should too.

Ambiente encantador, el servicio era amable y atento, y lo más importante es que comí la mejor comida vietnamita que nunca experimenté en Escocia.

Third visit to Sen over last few years, and well worth a return trip - this time for a ' light lunch' of 6 starters shared between 3 of us. Food is fabulous; fresh, fragrant and flavourful. Especially enjoyed the sticky tofu and the coconut and satay skewers this time, but honestly never had a bad choice. Staff were warm and friendly, service smooth and efficient - excellent value for the money.

What an absolutely awful experience. We took our daughter here for a 40th birthday lunch based on previous recommendations by friends and acquaintances. The food was poorly cooked and we suspect was microwaved due to the way it was placed on the plates. One meal was different - a beef dish- the meat was not tender at all and appeared to be “bleeding” blood. The cutlery is well used and looks “battered” as if past it’s useability. We complained about the two meals that were pork (though we suspect these were not pork but chicken ??) based noodle dishes and they changed them to the beef dishes but this was poorly cooked as well and remained uneaten. The experience was quite ghastly and we paid over £65 for something we feel was no better than a takeaway box from Tesco or Asda worth £12-15. We certainly would not recommend this place. We won’t Thankyou for a dreadful experience.

One of the absolute best restaurants that Edinburgh has to offer. Quality of the food is great and the price to portion ratio is excellent as well. The Korean fried chicken (original sauce) and the matcha green tea shortcake are really some of the best things you can get.

Very welcoming environment although simple and not particularly aesthetic. Very good food, well prepared and definitely plentiful. Excellent and fast service. The guy who served us was particularly kind and professional! Quiet place with good background music. I recommend it

I heard from a Korean friend that Ongi is the best Korean restaurant in Edinburgh. It was certainly a thriving and popular store. I ordered champon, yukkejang, samgyeopsal, and seafood pancakes, but maybe it was because my expectations were too high, but the taste was just average. I was disappointed that the samgyeopsal did not come with kimchi, raw garlic, or green chili peppers. Was it an extra charge? I ate it grilled on a hot iron plate at the table, but rather than having the waiter grill it for you like you would find at a Korean restaurant, I grilled it myself. The chanpon noodles were flat noodles similar to Japanese kishimen. I felt a little strange because it wasn't the Champon that I'm used to eating, but it was still delicious. Also, having a menu with pictures of the dishes is very helpful when ordering! The customer service from the staff was also great!

I recently had the pleasure of trying Charsi Karahi, and it was absolutely amazing! The meat was so tender and juicy, cooked to perfection with just the right balance of spices. The aroma itself was mouthwatering, and every bite was full of rich, authentic flavor. The fresh ingredients and traditional cooking style really stood out. Paired with naan or chapati, it’s a meal I’d highly recommend to anyone who loves true desi cuisine. Can’t wait to have it again!
