Update- popped in to try the corndogs - wow! Especially the half and half. Wow, what a great new addition to the area. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here, the mandu and tteokbokki were delicious. I also felt very welcomed by the staff, especially the lovely Korean guy. Can't wait to return!

We ordered vegetable kimbap, Korean curry with tofu, veg Korean hotdog (corndog). The hotdog was good. The rest of the items were average. The vegetable kimbap was very similar to sushi but was too big to fit in the mouth in one bite. However, we enjoyed the food but might not go back again because of the limited vegetarian options. The ambience was basic and the place is more like a fast-food joint than a proper dine-in restaurant. They have limited seating but a Korean setup. You have to self-serve yourself from the counter once your order is ready. They have plenty of cutlery and sauces on the side rack. It’s easy to locate as it is by the main road. The staff was helpful and friendly and gave us good recommendations as it was our first time trying Korean. Give it a visit and decide how you like it!

Well I’ve not tried much Korean food so had a few things from the menu to sample. It was all absolutely flipping delicious. I’d almost go back to Edinburgh just to eat here. Can definitely recommend.

Food not too good but great portions

The food here was utterly superb. 10/10. We absolutely loved it and would go back. The half-half Dakgangjung was insanely good and tasty. The half-half Korean hot dog was so so good too. And lastly, the Bulgogi Kimbap was delicious too. We can’t wait to return!!

First time ordering for delivery as we ate in once before. Although the food was tasty, unfortunately the food was barely warm. Also our order took two hours to arrive. we ordered at 18:06 and it didn't arrive until around 8pm. Annoyingly the delivery time kept changing. If we'd known it was going to take that long we wouldn't have bothered ordering...

Incredible mozzarella corn dogs, big portions of deliciously chewy tteokbokki, and gorgeous mandu. Very satisfied with our meal and we will absolutely order from here again!

We were passing by and seen they served Korean corn dogs. These are amazing especially the mozzarella Korean corn dog, the cheese pull on these you must try. Plenty of sauce options, speedy service.

The portion is surprisingly big

Bibimbap isn't bad, but the mushrooms were slimy and the pork was fatty and chewy. Kimbap more like maki and for some reason had mayonnaise? And not even a little bit, it was a large blob of it on the end piece and in the middle. The karagi were just... fried. No flavour to them and the noodles had gone mushy so had none of the chewy texture.

Everything here is good, but the chicken gangjeong is too salty! And cabbage with bulgogi kimbap? Lettuce? I wish it wasn't included. Mayonnaise sauce also does not go into bulgogi kimbap. Please take it out.

I went there a while ago, and I wasn't expecting the taste of Korea, but it's not even close to the taste of Korean food in London... They probably sell cup tteokbokki sold at Asian supermarkets. The taste is almost similar.. It seems like chicken is also sold with Asian supermarket karaage. Since I live in London, I just expected it to be at the London standard... but it's too bad it doesn't even reach that level... First of all, a tteokbokki + hot dog set at a Korean snack bar called 'Bunsik' in London costs about 9 pounds, but it's also very expensive here. .. The kimbap isn't Korean kimbap, it's maki, but it seems a bit odd... It's so sad...

This place is absolutely amazing. The staff are very friendly and the food is incredible. A friend put me on to the mozzarella hotdog and it is the most wonderful treat. The Korean white onion sauce is a delightful pairing. The inari rice pockets are delicious if you want something a little more filling. The rice inside is the perfect texture. Everything is made to order too

I had high expectations because of the high ratings, but... it doesn't taste like Korean. 1. This restaurant is not run by Koreans. The interior is decorated in Korean style, but it definitely doesn't taste that way. 2. The tteokbokki was edible, but it tasted like commercial frozen tteokbokki. And I don't know if it's because I ordered multiple menus, but the portion size was much smaller than other reviews. 3. The chicken definitely does not taste like Korean chicken. It tasted greasy like karaage and had a foul smell of chicken. The color of the fries was dark and the color of the chicken was also black. 4. Kimbap was the worst. Perhaps the person who cooked it was different, but compared to other review photos, the kimbap was mushy and almost ready to fall apart. The contents also contain paprika instead of carrots and the cucumber flavor is too strong. It's not kimbap, it's closer to Japanese maki or roll, but the taste is very different from Korea. Overall Review: Feels like a Korean restaurant run by a Chinese person in London's Chinatown. It doesn't taste like the Korean food you eat in Korea at all.

I live in Edinburgh and this is my absolute favourite place to eat. The food is always absolutely mouth watering and just epic. Great vegetarian options, polite and knowledgeable staff. Would recommend the Korean mozzarella dog with white onion sauce 😋😋 Why order anything else when you can order Korean Munchies?

I love korean food. So happy they deliver now on Just Eat! and thank you for the extra sauce I requested I really appreciate it. Everything is so tasty. I recommend the spicy kimmari twigim, hot dogs (get white onion sauce), and tteokbokki. Dip the kimmari in the tteokbokki sauce its do yummy!!!

We went in for a snack. It's average. It has a large bar and tables and chairs. The portions are satisfying, the prices are reasonable, and the taste is very good.

Good sized bibimbap perfect for cold Scottish weather.

Small, informal Korean restaurant, without separate tables but a long table with seats and two stations in front of the window. We tried the gimbap (very fresh and plentiful) and the fried chicken (good, perhaps a little dry). The restaurant provides glasses and free water, and drinks and sauces can be purchased separately for around 30 cents each. In general, reasonable prices: two portions of fried chicken, two sauces, two cocazeros and a gimbap €35.

It kept being delayed, was cold on arrival and was a small portion of food. not worth the money nor the wait, will not be ordering from them again

First time eating here, the chicken was quite good, just the portion was a bit on the small side, but overall it was good!

The bibimbap is so delicious. The red pepper paste is especially delicious. Be sure to try it. I also had salmon tofu sushi packaged and it was delicious!! Both are worth the money and I want to eat them again tomorrow🍽!! Since it feels like a takeout specialty, the store is all bar stools~

I visited this restaurant in Scotland when I was missing the taste of Korea. I was impressed by the taste and service and had a happy meal.

We stumbled across this cozy little place on a rainy festival evening in August, with some prime people watching seats in the window drawing us in. After a friendly greeting we ordered Korean chicken curry, a beef bibimbap and beef mandu to share. Everything came quickly, was super delicious and portions were large. The bibimbap was perfectly seasoned with a tasty soy sauce dressing and the curry was lightly spicy, with kimchi and fries. The piping hot, amazingly crispy mandu had light and crunchy skins, with a savoury beef filling and sweet, salty dip. Everything was absolutely delicious and we lingered in the window seat to people watch. The atmosphere was very cozy and chilled, with Korean music playing ❤️ This place is definitely on our favourites list. ❤️

So I normally love going to Korean Munchies and I've had their curry before so this was probably a one time mistake, but today the tofu in my curry was completely cold and tasted raw and I couldn't even eat it (it was takeaway not deliveroo for context). Like it was just cold raw tofu covered in warm curry sauce. Not cooked or seasoned. I'm really disappointed :(

It's hard to find a place to sit, so I highly recommend it to those who want takeout...!! The food was extremely good :)

The Korean food here is actually quite good, great for Edinburgh maybe. Service is very friendly. The price is tbh a bit high. A suggestion: for a purchase of kimbap let ppl buy the cup noodle for £2. Or let ppl pay extra £3 for adding a serving of ramen noodles to the tteokbokki. It’ll probably sell really well! Bottom line: really like this place!

Such a great place to get authentic Korean food in Edinburgh. Not the best seating unfortunately but it's ideal for a quick lunch alone or in a pair. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The merchandise on offer is so cute too.

High prices, small portions I spent £27 for two small corn dogs and one stick of tteok tteok + a small coke can. The food itself is pretty good but very sweet, so if you prefer savoury/spicy don’t visit. In comparison to the korean restaurant in glasgow in top of buchanan galleries: A large corn dog for £5, whereas here its 7.99 for a small one. The one in glasgow does taste much better too, so personally I dont think this is worth it if youre looking to try quality korean style corn dogs! If pricing isn’t an issue and you want to try out some korean dishes, then go for it!

Expected a text or an email notification that our food had arrived but received nothing. We ended up eating our food 30min after it had been delivered as we didn’t get notified, but the food was still nice and warm and as delicious as we had hoped! Would definitely order from this place again!

Dak Kangjung wasn’t good, beef bibimbab was alright and original tteokbokki was very poor. It is like a school canteen. Horrendous!

Come here if you want overpriced and small-portioned Korean food. While the chef and server were very nice, I just found the food to be sooooo overpriced for the portion you got. £5 for a single garaetteok is crazyyyyyyyy. £8 for 8 pieces of kimbap is crazyyyyyy. The food is tasty though, so if money is of no concern, then for sure come here - it’s worth trying. The seating is minimal, with a more ‘eat and go’ style. The seating is mainly an upper ledge. I was really impressed by the large menu selection, especially with the items offered that aren’t usually covered in other Korean restaurants, so props to them!

The food is delicious and served warm, and the restaurant has a truly lovely atmosphere. All the decorations and written Korean elements add a cute touch 🥰 Conveniently located near the university and old town, it's accessible from everywhere. I highly recommend visiting for a delightful dining experience! Additionally, the staff are exceptionally kind. I accidentally left my bottle at the restaurant, but they kindly shipped it to me. Furthermore, they offer a 10% student discount, which I wasn't aware of until the server informed me.

I tried the tuna kimbap which was delicious. Although, this was a small portion and quite expensive (£8.50).

I supposed estimated delivery time was around 5.45pm. But I received the order at 6.30pm 1.5 hr after order placed at 4.58pm.

Absolutely amazing food. Food was reasonably priced. Great selection on the menu. I got the mozzarella corn dog with ketchup and mustard and the sotteok sotteok. I forgot to take a picture until halfway it was so enjoyable! Only slight downside was the seating area was a bit small - but I won’t remove a star as it is a small place.

Best Korean food I’ve tried in Edinburgh! It’s very authentic - it tastes the same as it does in Korea. I’ve come several times since they opened and I love the seotteok-seotteok and spicy chicken the best. I wish they had japchae or hotteok on the menu ❤️

Great place to try Korean street food. The shop has plenty of stools to sit on if you want to sit in. I got the Korean chicken curry which came with chicken, rice, kimchi and chips. Also the half and half chicken. The food was nicely cooked and delicious.

This is a hidden gem, the food is delicious and a lot of it, pur eyes where to big for our stomach, we had to ask for a doggy bag. We got the hot dog, curry and the chicken bites to share. The service was brilliant and a lovely place to chill and eat
