Perfect Food. Service. Location

The food was lovely. They had a mix of Japanese and Korean dishes. Staff were nice, kind, and attentive. Food was also cheap for what you got. I would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent Service from Entry to Exit. Professional, Soft spoken, attentive and kind people. The food was delicious and the presentation was very good. Would visit again over and over again. I've tried many restaurants in Edinburgh, and Cafe Andamiro is by far my favourite! I have been many times, and every single time the food is always excellent and authentic, and the staff are so incredibly kind and welcoming. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Great Japanese and Korean food with loads of vegan and vegetarian alternatives that are as delicious as the original dish. Special mention to vegan bibimbap and okonomiyaki! Will come back!

A lovely authentic Korean restaurant. Portion could be a bit small on a cold day or for dinner. The main was not served with various Korean side dishes in the most traditional Korean way though. I would suggest that they could include more snacks and starters in the menu so that guests could add one or two sides to the main. Their homemade matcha cheesecake was pretty nice, too.

Been a customer since they opened and their food is always fresh, delicious and portions are generous. Service is always welcoming and friendly. You have authentic Korean and Japanese menu options. And desserts are just amazing! Highly recommend !

We had the Korean Fried Chicken and Osam Bulgogi for dinner (See pictures). We chose 2 juices to go with it. The restaurant does not serve any alcohol but accepts if you bring it with you. The service was super attentive and friendly. It doesn't have many seats so reservations are highly recommended. We had a great time and the price-performance ratio is unbelievably good! We would come back anytime and the walk from our hotel in the city center was pleasant.

Great little Korean restaurant. A must when in Edinburgh.

What can I say, this place deserves 10/5 stars. I booked the wrong day and they were so kind enough to accommodate 8 of us during the busy fringe season for dinner. Staff were so lovely and attentive, always has smiles on their faces. The food was sooo good. Ordered the kimchi jiggae (definitely recommend) and katsu curry. Good sized portions. I didn’t take any pics because I was too busy scranning. This was last week and I’m still thinking about the kimchi jiggae I think it would be my death row meal. Also it’s BYOB.

A relatively small place we just happened upon whilst leaving a Fringe show. Popped in to see if they had a table for 2 and luckily they did. It doesn't sell alcohol but there are soft drinks available and you can take your own for £2 corkage. The seating and tables are just basic but it's clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Our order was taken and the freshly cooked meals arrived in no time and they were absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

음식이 매우 정갈함. 밥은 집에서 쿠쿠로 갓지은 듯한 따뜻하고 쫀득한 흰쌀밥이고.. 내가 주문한 것은 불고기 뚝배기로 뜨끈뜨끈하고 맛있는 진짜 한식이었습니다! 대학가 주변이어서 주변 분위기가 밝고 사장님이 친절하십니다! 당황했던건.. 저녁 오픈하자마자 사람들이 많아서.. 조금 늦었다면 기다렸어야했을 것 같았어요!!😀😄😊

Lovely family-run Korean restaurant! The food was delicious and authentic - we had couple of bowls of heartwarming Jjigae and honey-garlic fried chicken. The portion size was good too and the jjigae had a generous serving of meat/seafood. Definitely recommend!

Delicious, fresh food with a good selection of Japanese and Korean dishes including house made kimchi!! The blooming Jasmine rea for two was also a great choice.The atmosphere was friendly and the staff was helpful.

Such a hidden gem. My absolute favourite Edinburgh restaurant after living here for 8 years. Unreal Korean/ Japanese food at very reasonable prices.

Katsu was a bit dry. Seafood pancake was soggy and served after we were half way through our main.. friendly staff. Average taste (not bad yet not amazing). Heard lots of nice things about this place but didn’t live up to my expectations. Will be reluctant to come back but never say never..

Great Korean food as seen in S.Korea. The food we had was amazing! Authentic bibimbap, toppokki, Korean fried chicken, authentic and full size kimchi-jeon is what we had, and was all great. Will definitely be back.

I would love to comment about food but sadly i can’t! We walk in and staff said there is no place if no have reservation and we said okay while we are going out 2 asian woman came in and i heard they said they have no reservation as well but staff take them to the table. This is disrespectful and kind of racism. It was enough make our night bad with my friend!

Really authentic Korean food! The waiters were really nice as well. From the outside you could think that it’s just a bistro but it actually is nice inside and not as you would have thought. Highly recommended!

It was a celebration with my friends and we enjoyed our get together. The food was tasty, service was on point and the atmosphere added the extra goodness. Overall it was a great experience.

I always get the okonomyiaki, it’s really good, and it’s nice to have a place that offers something different from the same menu every other Japanese restaurant in the city has. The service is always very friendly and welcoming. I had the cheesecake for the first time on my last visit, and it was exquisite. It was one of those moments I had to put my laptop away (I was on a lunch break) and just close my eyes and enjoy every bite. Would eat the cheesecake everyday if I could!

I had my lunch here and it was amazing. I ordered spicy beef stew with rice. It was refreshing, light, energizing and flavourful. It had mushroom, egg, beef and vegetables. I also ordered ginger tea, it was sweet and warming your body. Will visit this restaurant again for sure. They have student discount but need to pay in cash.

I ate here 2 times during my stay in Edinburgh and I just want to say congratulations on the food and the staff. It's honestly the best Korean/Japanese restaurant I've ever been to, the sweet potatoes croquettes were an amazing discovery for me! The place is lovely and warm and the staff too, they work so hard to insure a perfect service and they're so polite. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'll be in Edinburgh!

👍韓式炸雞，甜酸開胃 👍泡菜煎餅，好香，粉不重😋 👍 石鍋飯石鍋夠熱，香港食的飯底有層油，它沒有 👍自製綠茶蛋糕，香軟不甜膩，連蛋糕面的忌廉都有極香濃的茶味😋 👍服務態度滿分，我叫的杞子泡茶飲完他主動前來問我要不要幫我再加熱水，又主動給小碟我們分吃（通常要叫先拎），笑容親切。 👍炸雞丶煎餅丶石鍋飯丶4碗麵鼓湯丶兩杯飲品丶一件蛋糕，吃飽3人，40幾英鎊，抵！

Love, love, love it! In my opinion the best braised eel you can get in Edinburgh. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We really enjoyed our meals and the good service and we will be back soon!

I’ve been here 3 times😉 Personally,I think it’s the best Korean restaurant in Edinburgh. The sundubu jjigae here is wonderful 👍🏻 And the cake is also worth trying! But Kimchi pancake in this restaurant isn’t crispy but soft, and it’s general taste.

Had a lovely meal with my two teenage kids. Food was great, reasonably priced for Edinburgh. Cakes were awesome. We booked a table ( during the festival)which was the right decision as people were turned away. Really good, would like to come back.

I went with a group of friends and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The food is good, great quality and satisfying portions. The staff and the service is more than excellent. I highly recommend the teas to have together with the meal! Also the price is fair, not too expensive. I will come back for sure. Make sure you book because is small.

개인적으로 돼지국밥은 약간?!? 아쉬웠습니다. 진한 돼지육수를 기대했는데 역시 한국만큼은 아니었음. 하지만 다른 음식은 다 맛있고 알바생분 접객도 너무 좋고 서비스도 주심. 사람도 많고 맛집인듯

I will confess that I'm a big fan of Korean food... I've traveled all over East Asia, and Korea is where I found the most delicious food... however, now that I've moved back home to the States I haven't had any access to good authentic Korean food. That's why I'm so happy I stumbled across this restaurant while touring Edinburgh!! The food is great, and took me back to when I was in Korea. 정말 맛있어요! 감사합니다

True loyalist here, since the very first time I went! I discovered this place about 5 years ago and I have never went so frequently to any restaurant - the pictures are from multiple visits (as you can see, okonomiyaki and Korean fried chicken were a go-to order). Great price, great consistent quality of food every time and amazing customer service! Up there with my favourite Japanese/Korean in Scotland. Place is small but they have now extended to the next building that serve more ramen dishes.

hands down one of my favourite korean places. the food tastes authentic, the people that work there are so sweet and respectful, and don't even get me started on their korean fried chicken (no joke i crave it weekly.) it's such a nice environment to hang out with your friends too, and the portion sizes are good. i really recommend this place!

点了一份牛肉石锅拌饭外带，超级凉，米饭硬邦邦的，很像剩饭。吃了第二天我和朋友肚子超级难受，完全不值10镑，只有一点点肉沫。海鲜泡菜饼也有点腥

We have been to many restaurants in Edinburgh and this has to become our new favourite. There is so much choice in the city, however some of the prices are extortionate and dishes are unnecessarily over priced. This restarant is far from it. You get great value for money. Dishes tastes amazing and I will definitely be returning. My favourite was the Okonomiyaki, absolutely delicious! Cant wait to try other dishes I have my eye on. Finally have found a great Japanese/Koren go-to restaurant. Highly recommended.

Japanese style Korean restaurant. I strongly recommend two pancakes. Really well made. 근데 사실 돼지국밥이 찐이다. 잡내도 안나고 다대기가 찐. 앞으로 일주일이 한번 국밥하러 가야겠으요.

This is one of those simple yet authentic eateries. No pretentiousness, just damn good food. We both had ramen dishes and some edamame, but seriously wish I could have spent all day in here trying the different dishes. Service was efficient and polite without fussing. The waitress thought I might find the ginger tea too sweet but it was perfectly balanced. Make sure you book on a weekend to avoid being disappointed, as we almost didn't get a table. When I come back to Edinburgh, this little gem will be on my list!

Me and my friend ordered the Yakitori and Pumpkin croquettes for starter and the Dak Galbi and the Dwagji Gukbap. All the food was very hot (freshly made) and very flavoursome. The main dish portions were also very satisfying. The staff were lovely and accomodating. The waitress even when dealing with big party tables still took the time to refill the tea and asked if we were enjoying are meal. The only possible grievance would be that it was really drafty due to the door not closing properly but everytime this happened the staff ran to close it. If you are ever in the area i would definitely recommend checking it out.

I’ve been here couple of times for quick dinner! Food is great and good portion and homely taste!! Probably it’s not for fancy date or dinner occasion for me but if you are looking for some quick great Asian foods this is the place to be!!

Great food and fantastic service! The waiter who served us was very polite and friendly. He refunded my friend's cheesecake because he forgot to put chili sauce on her bibimbap. We didn't notice this but he did and he apologized for it. Will definitely go again and highly recommend to anyone!

Had dinner here on friday - it was so good! No clue what we ordered, but the cabbagy pancake thing was so delicious! I try not to eat meat, this is not really a place for veggie (there are some options still). I went for the mains with prawns, i know they can be a but chewy at times, but not here! OMG! It was so good! And the rice! I think it may be best texture rice i ever had! It is Sunday morning, i am badly craving the food from here, but they are closed till Tuesday pm. I will be there for dinner! And trying some veggie things. Addicted!

Lovely spot, they have so many good options for teas, would love to come back again for a cup! And food portion are massive! If you are not a massive foodie, would suggest to take a half, or ask for doggy bag to take away.

Excellent food and great customer service. The food was delicious and my dish was including a miso soup and a bowl of rice. Also you can bring your own alcohol (there is a Sainsbury near by). You can have a great experience at affordable price with great food, nicely decorated place, not noisy and an amazing service.
