The best restaurants serving Asian food in England

A gorgeous gem of a place! Stayed here for one night and ate at the restaurant in the evening. Our room was cosy, warm, clean and we had a great nights sleep. We also had a lovely breakfast in the morning. All four of us throughly enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant, especially the pork belly. The staff are so friendly and nothing was too much. I can’t wait to return to this charming place in the future.

Estaba un poco decepcionado por nuestra visita. La comida era agradable. Los niños comen más sabroso que mi principal. El servicio no se sentía del todo bien. Por ejemplo, preguntando si deberían traer la cuenta mientras todavía estábamos comiendo. Habíamos hecho una reserva que informé al personal a la llegada. Sin embargo, esta mañana recibí un correo electrónico sobre no asistir a nuestra reserva, que era incorrecto. No volvería con prisa.

We booked for 19 people to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday & we had an amazing time. We have always been becky’s in small group 2/4 people & loved it so booked for my husbands 50th family meal. The Clay oven staff could not have been more welcoming & accommodating down to the party numbers, balloons & cake drop off. The food for every person in our party was plentiful & so delicious. Everyone commented how gorgeous each course for their choice was. The meat tender, everything so fresh & piping hot. The service for a large group was attentive & nothing was too much trouble. A lovely touch at the end when they brought the most delicious birthday cake out as a surprise for my husband with everyone taking some home as everyone was too full after the meal. I have had messages since from family who travelled to attend the meal saying how fabulous it was. Top food & service & well deserving of this top review,

This is second time ordering, guys your food is great, tasty and lots of it. Kept up to date when order was ready. Delivered on time and hot. I'm so impressed thank you.

Ordered a home delivery while on holiday. Firstly surprised it was cash on delivery - had to scrape around between us for enough. Delivery then took forever - despite 2 phone calls to chase it up it took 90 minutes from ordering online. We nearly cancelled (I suppose the one advantage of cash), but glad we didn't as the food was actually excellent. Large portions, lots of chunky vegetables in the rice dishes, rich and tasty curries. All correct and piping hot.

Oof. Tasted nice, but WAY too expensive. £19 for a meal the size of a starter. I’m not even sure it’s Sri Lankan, as someone with Sri Lankan heritage didn’t recognise any of the dishes. Poor 👎🏼

The food was nice but nothing more. We didn't feel full up anc went over to macdonalds and had a quick burger. Portions small for price and lacked flavour. China town or bang bangs better tastier food in my opinion. Service was good although we did have to ask twice for a couple of things.

I really try to never write bad reviews and even my google review reflects that it is possibly edible. But I have now found myself even after explaining very clearly “no tomatoes as I have an allergy” to find underneath my meat it is covered in tomatoes and after reviewing a Snapchat video I sent whilst waiting for my food watching the server take all of the salad from the same bowl that contained tomato and actually picking out some which he saw was on my food with his own uncovered fingers, now find myself taking all the medication I have to fight a reaction that could have been avoided and hoping it subsides with minor symptoms. As much as I try to support local business this is beyond even slightly positive. This place needs to be shut down. The gentleman that served me even asked when I tried to pay with a £20 note for £9 worth of food if he could keep it as he didn’t have change. To only come out with change when I refused which I forgave as maybe there was a language barrier. It is clear that was rubbish. Avoid at all cost.

I Orded breakfasts the service was very good from Malik’s she’s very polite and made sure I left with a smile on my face. I definitely will come back another time.

We went for a family get together. 15 adults and 5 children and the staff could not do enough for us. Service was great. Catered to every request and the food was really delicious. Thank you very much

The host was very friendly and keen to give us a pleasant evening. The food was delicious and we will be back to sample more from the extensive menu.
