The order was wrong and the food wasn’t great. I called about it then got yelled at. I’m not even trying to be rude but honest.

As usual people cant seem to ever read the order properly and had missed out items from the order. There needs to be more accountability for this sort of stuff

One dumpling for that price? And ox tail tasted like curry and chips. No flavour at all. Very disappointed

Take too long. Meet was chewy. It's soup Caribbean chicken soup. The meat should melt in your mouth not chewy

On the website the restaurant has it says rice included with main meals on arrival there was no rice at all so I’ve paid £43 for three dishes this is totally wrong and has ruined the whole experience I would like my money back as I have not received what I was expecting and if I do not I shall take this up with the ombudsman because I feel I have been badly mislead and very overcharged with what I received . This is totally disgusting

£2 for one dry dumpling. The stew chicken has no rice. I paid £30 for stew one dumpling, four pieces of plaintin and Mac and cheese!

Food was cold only thing was hot was the gravy sauce. mac and cheese tasted like it was microwaved and had no cheese taste. Chicken was just dry tasted burnt.

Worst oxtail I’ve ever had, dry rice, tasteless

OK so the portion sizes are HUGE. I ordered two curry chicken and one has filled up two people no problem. The other half will do for later. What a lush taste. Delicious tender chicken and flavoursome curry with super soft potatoes and carrots. Thank you!

Had take away from here many times. Food is alway enjoyable, good portion sizes and is still hot when it arrives.

I hated the large oxtail test it was truly disgusting and additional things added on it, so forget ordering large.

I rarely leave reviews but this curry goat and rice is sooo bad - I don’t even know where to begin. Firstly, it’s more like a British stew that a caribbean favorite ! Massive potatoes and chunks of awful carrots- it’s all so bland and the only spices you can taste is black pepper. As for the meat there’s no way this is lamb - no way! And it’s horribly over priced - warning DO NOT ORDER THIS!

Very disappointing. They may have changed the Jamaican Chef because that was the worst Caribbean food ever! The macaroni N Cheese and coleslaw were horrible ... the poor quality rice had too much salt and no taste. The price of everything has increased so much and the quality has decreased rapidly.

The meat was not cooked. It was PINK. I ordered curry goat! The plaintan was nicee!

I ordered 2 Curry Goat, only 1 was delivered. I called the restaurant and they said, it's not our fault, the driver left it behind (even though the food was wrapped and the bag tied in a knot) contact Just-East. Just-Eat have no real customer services, so I ticked a few boxes and have to wait up to 7 days for a refund! Worst still, the curry we did get was watery! NEVER AGAIN!!

Price is a little bit steep but food was nice. I mean £1.85 for a dumplin? They’re like 60p-£1 in most Jamaican stores

The food does taste good. Arrived already warm so didn’t have to reheat. However the portions are just incredibly small even if you order large. They don’t really fill the Tupperware. I didn’t feel like it was a good value for money

The oxtail had too much salt, I could not eat it! Very disappointing because most of the time their food is good. Not sure what happen today... chef probably fell asleep with the salt box in her hand while she was seasoning the oxtail...

Food from here is very good quality, it is freezing outside yet food arrived hot. The food is fresh tasting and is a real hearty meal. May take a while to arrive but always worth the wait. Just a caution if you have the brown fish stew watch out for the bones. But it is worth the tussle with the bones as the flavour is deep and rich.

Menu doesn't come as a meal, forced to pay for something I didnt want after tell chef I was going to cancel. Was told he could cancel but just eat said he could. Overall not happy with restaurant or just eat.

They shouldn't have been this late to deliver my food I made it clear on the site my door is on the junction of grays inn road plus he could of called me if he couldn't find it absolutely disgraceful no excuse 😡😠🤬

Food never turned up, restaurant said not collected, complained to just eat. They said it was collected/delivered. Still waiting for refund.

For next time in the future, I don’t want my food to get ready cold, also I expect the driver to be nice and really really early because I don’t want to cause any chaos or any server delays. Yesterday was so chaos and it didn’t deliver it on time.

ordered twice now haven't been disappointed either time and is now my go to it's hard finding a place without incurring issues, these guys have delivered on time, delivered everything ordered without mistakes, food has always come good and hot so i recommend plus the bad reviews don't add up to my experiences so i dont know whats up with them and i dont class them as anything to go by with this restaurant
