The staff need to be trained properly when it comes to customer service. They are pleasant enough but are slow and seem to stand around chatting. How can a restaurant such as this not serve coffee can't fathom this out at all. I will be returning for take away because the food is delicious ,but will think seriously about dining in. Q

Attended Satay with friends. Nice ambience. Friendly and helpful staff. Happy hour drinks a bonus -food arrived and nice and hot. Enjoyed my meal excluding prawn Gyoza which were very doughy and not enough prawn inside. Friends got sea bass which they fully enjoyed. Will return to the good old Satay Bar

Omg this weekend was all about doing something different and catching up with family. This bar did not fail. Although not able to take in our bought merchandise from previous places we had an amazing experience. The security guys were pleasant and the bar staff were really eye candy and happy to serve. We haven’t visited for a while it was once a favorite haunt and we had a family visit with people who really love Thai cuisine ! The food was a shadow of what it used to be. What was more upsetting was that all menus and ordering of food & Drinks was by app. The payment was card only and the tip was automatically applied. We felt it a soulless experience from what was once a vibrant lively and inclusive place to eat. I felt angered by feeling that we were just there to extract money from. The staff seemed very happy to fool around with each other in the background all they had to do was sling the stuff to the table and carry on with what was more important to them! What a shame interacting with funny happy staff was part of the great charm of this place. Ditch the app.We won’t be returning ever.

Ive been going to Satay Bar for over 30 years and this was the worse ever experience. Online menus which take ages to decipher with minimal help from staff, food arrived 10 before food, sloppy service and reduced menu with no roti (the best thing on menu). Then switched the rum in the mojito on our second round of drinks. Wont be back in a hurry

The waiter seems to think his attitude is acceptable when dealing with customers who aren’t completely satisfied with their food. His actions were embarrassing as he seemed adamant he wanted to make a scene out of the situation. He rushed over to the security guard and called me a “ white ting “ why he found this ok is beyond me. I had no choice but to pay my bill and leave the restaurant as I did not wish to be EMBARRASSED any further. He is an utter disgrace and should be ashamed of how he acts towards others. Lastly he should leave his racist comments to himself next time.Once I made a complaint, Elly then told me “ black people cannot be racist to white people “ seemingly thinking it is ok to call me a “white ting”. I will NEVER be returning to this place.

I visited Satay Bar for a Sunday lunch. Upon arrival we were told by the security guard to wait by the door to be seated, we were waiting for a good 5 minutes or so before we were acknowledged by any of the staff inside and seated.The food was fresh, filling and served within good timing. However, there were only 3 staff working (with quite a lot of customers present) meaning it was hard to get their attention or assistance when needed.We were often asking for things twice or more which was quite inconvenient. Overall it was decent experience with good food but the customer service needs a big improvement.

I would have given this a higher score in fact I should take it down another notch given the state of the toilets, but I won’t elaborate on that instead to say the staff and management should take more care. The convoluted ordering system took some getting to grips with , especially as our main dish came before our starters . It’s not all bad though , the food was delicious , I had lamb satay, the lamb was succulent, my main course was delicious duck with rice, can’t complain about any of it , pity I had to go in the toilets though.

Went here for a late afternoon meal. Ordering is done via QR code to your table. Food arrived less than 10 mins after ordering which obviously means a lot of it is pre-made and reheated. Rice dish was inedible, had a funny taste and was not throughly heated, lamp skewers were dry and awful, ordered tempura chicken, tempura is supposed to be battered chicken, what I got was fried chicken, which was the worst cut of the chicken, all fatty, no meat, again couldn't eat it. Was able to eat the sweet potato fries and drink the cocktails which are the only good thing about this place, the server was polite and gave us a discount because we didn’t eat the food but I can honestly say it was one of the worst food experiences I have ever had, left 40 mins before time as we were hungry so decided to go somewhere else for food. Considering I had travelled all the way from West London to try this place I was left so disappointed.

We ordered via the app. Food came all together. We then waited 20 more minutes for cutlery and had started eating with our hands. Then drinks came waaaay later. I'm astounded that they added a service charge because in my opinion we served ourselves and the service was dreadful.£92 for lunch and drinks and terrible service is an absolute RIP OFF We won't be going back.

A very unwelcoming woman told us all the tables were reserved so we were given a tiny wobbly table against the wall by the kitchen which was unpleasant as we could smell fish and other foods every time the door opened. The tables which were 'booked' remained empty for the three hours we dined on a cramped table. The rice was old or suffering from a sad case of microwave burn. The prawns were fresh and enjoyable although the tempura batter began to spoil the longer it sat on the bed of lettuce-obviously. Care was taken with the presentation which was positive but the sauce for the lamb was sickly sweet and the dim sum was very poor quality as it contained a lot of fluffy filler. Considering it was only us at one point the drinks took a lifetime. They were nice however and the lady who made them was also nice. Also staff not wearing masks with no exempt badges visible. Unprofessional.

The manager was rude and hostile towards us at the table as a group of women, when he wanted us to vacate the table so that he could seat other diners. We spent approximately £150 in total between the 5 of us only to be rushed to leave.We pointed out that there was a table of 5 young Caucasian males who had been seated before us and they were still in the restaurant- and not being hurried. He felt that he could intimidate us and took off his mask as he spoke and we pointed out that he was breaking Covid rules but he continued. We will not be returning to Satay again.Shame on you NAIKE DINZAYA - this is how you treat black customers.

I booked a table for me and my girlfriend on a Monday evening. It was pretty simple to do. On arrival we was greeted but a young lady which was really polite. She then showed us to our table and explained how ordering work. Which again was really simple and helpful. I ordered popcorn chicken with a side of egg fried rice and my girlfriend ordered the duck and rice. And as a starter we had chicken dumplings which were delicious.. over all it was a good evening and the staff were really polite and helpful at all times.

Lamentablemente en esta ocasión al visitar el bar, sentí toda la experiencia como una cinta transportadora. El guardia de seguridad que nos recibió en la puerta fue de mala educación, nos sentamos hasta tarde, seguimos dando vueltas afuera sin explicación. Esto nos hizo perder un valioso tiempo para cenar en nuestra mesa. . (2 horas) La comida y las bebidas llegaron puntualmente. . . Pero 10 minutos antes de que tuviéramos que desocupar nuestra mesa, el guardia de seguridad nos pidió que termináramos y nos fuéramos. . . Luego llegó un miembro del personal para limpiar la mesa para los siguientes invitados. ! Es una lástima que las visitas anteriores hayan sido excelentes + muy recomendadas.

He estado en Satay Bar en Brixton varias veces y, para mí, nunca falla. Esta fue mi primera visita desde que se introdujeron las restricciones de Covid y me sorprendió gratamente la configuración. En ningún momento me sentí incómodo comiendo allí. Pide su comida y bebida a través de su sistema de pedidos en línea. Debo decir que en realidad preferí esta forma de ordenar, fue tan fácil. No necesitaba pedir todo de una vez si no quería, y mejoró el servicio al 100%. El menú se redujo de lo que había antes, pero si nunca ha comido allí, nunca lo notará, ya que todavía hay una buena selección. Me habían recomendado el plato de pato y arroz, pero no pude verlo en el menú, así que pregunté si estaba disponible, me dijeron que lo estaba y me hicieron el pedido. Los cócteles también son muy buenos. Definitivamente volveremos allí pronto. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Very busy restaurant, the cocktails were 5/5 stars, looked very nice and tasted good. Onto the food, the starters were amazing, also came in a timely matter. Onto the mains, the mains were amazing, the tiger prawns tasted amazing and the noodles really good, however I waited almost an hour if not for my noodles to arrive while my friends had their meals arrive. The waitresses were very nice by apologising and assuring me it would arrive however , it’s just timing needs to IMPROVE, also was told By staff I would get my noodles free from managers orders due to that issue but when it came to pay the manager who has an extreme attitude problem by the way, tried to insinuate that it wasn’t the case and almost as though I had made it up and that he didn’t say that and made it into a long back and forth which made paying the bill not a nice experience however I did have the issue solved but the manager perhaps needs to work on his customer service ? The other staff however are lovely and very attentive when we had any issues.

I came tonight with my family to eat and was amazed we waited over 45 minutes for 1 starter and 2 sides, only for the waiter to tell us when they arrived that it was our fault because we moved tables, surely there should be some communication between waiters if a customer moves, we asked to speak to the manager who avoided us for another 20 minutes then came over and looked at us in disgust because he’s reason did not make sense, surely as a manager you should be able to control a half empty restaurant, on a Tuesday food was good I mean the food we actually did receive

I've been here many times before but unfortunately this time was very disappointing. We booked in advanced however On arrival at the restaurant we waited in a mixed line of both booked and non booked people for over 10mins.it was only when us and another couple decided to make our way to the front and speak to the security that they started calling forward people who had bookings 5 mins later. We followed the new ordering system via the qr codes and was pleased with the quick process of ordering however wait times for drinks and food was very long and restaurant was not even full. We waited 15 mins before getting half of our drinks and then another 20 mins on top of that before the starter arrived followed by another 15 mins for the mains. Upon asking a staff member about wait times for food I was told that there was loads orders for food and they didn't have a wait time. I also reminded them about the other drinks we had ordered and they were brought over shortly after. The staff who brought our food over and took over payment at the end weer friendly. Toilets were very messy and required some attention. General vibe in the restaurant it self was nice . I think the service itself really needs to be looked into I understand things have changed due to covid but long waits for food should be mentioned upon seating at least and the queues to enter the restaurant needs to me better organised.

I have been going to satay since my early 20’s and have seen a dramatic slop in customer service. What was once a go to place has now become I place I don’t want to go to but this recent visit really cemented my recent opinion. I wanted to go out and have a drink with friends post covid and someone who works in the nhs. I booked a table as per new requirements, firstly they are serving a reduced menu so the old time favs are not even on there including pad Thai, the food was mediocre to say the least. The drink are not to par as before. After w couple of hrs we went around lunch time, the manager came and kicked us off the table so abruptly, my friend was explaining to him we just ordered drinks and they are coming he then told us we can have a seat inside which he also insisted rudely that he wants the table back after an hr. This behaviour was so shocking because we spent over £160 there and the way he was pushing us out with no regard was absolutely abysmal.

We came for our 25th wedding anniversary - we used to visit a lot before we had kids, but hadn’t made it back for a while! We had a fantastic meal, took advantage of the happy hour cocktails (!) and really enjoyed ourselves. It was our first visit to a restaurant since lockdown and we were impressed by all the social distancing measures they had put in place. Ordering from our phones meant it was a little more impersonal than usual but the staff were really friendly and helpful. Fab food- we’ll be back soon. Thank you!

The new booking system did not work on the website, so I had to call in, the person who answered was very unaccomadating and rude. I was immediately answered with huffs, puffs and sighs. And when I asked to book she told me no I’d have to do it online, after already saying it doesn’t work. When she finally agreed to take the booking she was then complaining that she would have to take my details down but she didn’t have on the system. She then told me that I need to try a different server as if to challenge me when me and my other half need to sure that the system does not work we already tried on multiple servers.It was disappointing to feel as if I was inconveniencing her to put money in their pockets. Nonetheless upon arrival the stuff on the floor were friendly and the food was good

I headed out to celebrate coming out of lockdown with my best friend yesterday evening and I wasn’t disappointed. Due to government restrictions, there was a bit of a wait for our pre-booked table, however, once the food arrived it was a selection of tasty treats. Great ambience and I felt safe seeing the precautions that had been put in place for diners.I would suggest booking online in advance and be prepared a little wait before seated. Worth it though!

Glad they've opened back up. I've made two visits already. They have put in all the necessary procedures to ensure social distancing. Including contact less ordering.My 1st visit on Friday for my sisters birthday was OK although I was unable to order my main meal and my drinks order got messed up because of the new ordering system. I was given a complimentary drink and promise of discount on my next visit.2nd visit on Tuesday the management remembered me. Made sure my order went through correctly and as promised was given a discount on my bill and was even there to enjoy happy hour Very impressed and they have some new additions to the menu. i came in late friday for some cocktails before a night out, i asked to speak to the manager before ordering my drinks as i have an almond and nut allergy and it was easier for me to take a recommendation instead of looking through an allergy menu. i was recommended a thai punch which was whisky based which i love whisky. after having 2 of those i started to feel my stomach hurting which is not a usual side effect when i drink when i looked through the menu for a different drink i saw that thai punch has amaretto in which is made with almonds. i was shocked by the lack of diligence taken coming from a ‘manager’, when i confronted him about it i was brushed off and told ‘drink allergies are not the same as food allergies’ then he walked away in a grump. when asking another bar tender for the allergy menu i was told there is not one available. from then i left immedietly considering how important allergies are in the industry for a restaurant to not cover them in shocking and i will not be returning again i have no faith that any care is taken for guests!

took over 30 minutes to be seated after our booking, the gentlemen doing the seating looked lost when we was asking as to why we made a booking but still have to wait over half an hour for our table the manager could have offered some support instead of leaving us waiting for so long, when we did get our table it took an eternity for the waitress to come to us. the food was amazing the duck and veg almost made up for the poor service but overall tainted by the lack of efficiency and customer service

Llegué para una reserva para 7 el sábado por la noche, listo para llegar a la hora feliz, ya que era el cumpleaños de mi pareja, las bebidas que pedimos tardaron más de 30 minutos en llegar a la mesa, durante ese tiempo ningún miembro del personal mostró interés en venir. tomemos nuestro pedido de comida, cuando llegó la comida hubo una serie de errores con la llegada de la comida que ni siquiera pedimos al pedir hablar con el gerente para entender lo que estaba sucediendo, no estaba donde lo veían cuando no se las arregló para venir fue muy grosero y abrupto y nos culpó por tal vez "cambiar de opinión" cuando el servidor entregó la comida que no tenía sentido porque hemos estado aquí para comer en numerosas ocasiones y siempre no hemos tenido problemas con la comida y nunca antes de haber recibido este tipo de servicio, incluso durante las horas pico, los gerentes siempre deben ser los que mantengan la mayor compostura, especialmente al tratar con los clientes. con este tipo de servicio, no importa cuánto disfrutamos de la comida, no nos hará volver en el corto plazo si es que lo hacemos. . . . .

Se había desconectado de la conversación cuando le avisaron que lo bueno estaba frío. Había trabajadores en el piso que habían sido angustiados por él. Habíamos comenzado a continuar con una conversación en la que se decía que si no nos gusta la comida, deberíamos preparar la nuestra. Le pregunté a qué se refería y me dijo que preparara nuestra maldita comida. NO COMA POR TANTO

I popped in to the Satay bar at lunchtime today with a friend from work as just fancied a bit of Thai. We shared lamb skewers and then had two mains: Pad Thai and Singapore noodles. It was very tasty, very reasonable and very quick service. But the best part was lovely and friendly staff, especially our main server called Sheree (sorry if i spelt in wrong!). Loved it. Will be back again.

Terrible service but tasty food. They have the gut to charge us £52 for service charge. The experience was absolutely horrendous. My colleague ordered her meal and it was too hot and they refused to change it and took the food to put extra ketchup and sweet oil to reduce the heat. This ruined her experience. Also, we ordered for shotgun but got very small option however when complained they did bring in an extra portion. One of waiters told me to keep my used cutlery for starters for my mains instead of changing it for a new one. Absolute disgrace!!!!!.

I travelled all the way from Essex to meet friends at brixton at this venue. After waiting 1 hour to be seated ,another hour passed and still no food . So after waiting 2hours we walked out . The drink I ordered was virgin and I was given alcohol .I AM MUSLIM. then the waiter called us broke because we walked out .and the restaurant still had the audacity to take our deposit money eveb though we hadn't eaten . I’ve always loved Satay, but yesterday I went for a group booking for 9pm. By 9:30 still hadn’t been seated, then when we were the tables hadn’t been cleaned, people’s left over shrimp smeared across them. We asked for it to be cleaned several times, then practically had to get someone to take out order. Some people’s starters came some up to now the next day haven’t had their food. They gave us no cutlery to eat with, no serviettes. Again begged for those for nearly an hour. When we spoke to the manager, we were faced with antagonistic and threatening behaviour. They had the audacity to call security on US! Definitely would not recommend for any group bookings, although the couple beside us had the same issue. Waiting ages for an already booked table and then no one took their order for 45 minutes. They need more staff at busy periods such as weekends, but I thought that was standard for a restaurant

Satay Bar used to be my go to place, for lunch time or an easy accessible evening meal out. I used to see it as a long standing establishment, where you knew what you were getting. However, unfortunately last night that all changed for me. I went there with a group with a booked table for 8pm when we arrived we had to stand around for what seemed like at eternity waiting to be seated. Once seated, another eternity passed before our orders were taken. The staff member who took our order appeared stressed and I do not blame him at all. Given the confusion of the atmosphere. Our food arrived and we had to ask for plates, buy the time our plates arrived our food was cold. Some of us had to eat with our hands as there was no cutlery. Another group who were also with us had a slightly later booking and despite asking numerous times the tables were not cleaned. How can you seat people at a dirty table? This is the first time I have experienced such a disgraceful service at Satay Bar and I am extremely disappointed to have to be writing this. Many of the those on the 2nd table and some at our table never received their food and left hungry and yet the full amount of money was taken from the accounts of those who had made the bookings. Which I’m my eyes amounts to theft as they took money for services not actually provided. Not once did the manager make an apology. Instead she displayed a disgraceful attitude towards us, and offered no resolution what’s so ever. I’m not sure if the management is new, but I can see Satay Bar being run into the ground if this shambles of a service continues. They clearly can not manage large bookings. Having said that smaller tables were having similar problems. Our night was ruined. Extremely disappointing. Shame on you Satay Bar.

Can I just say I have never been so disgusted at the customer service received the day I went. Firstly I was waiting for my table for a while one of the waiters said they were too busy to help me and one of their staff was going to take over... ended up waiting for 25 minutes in confusion. When asked how long the table was going to take, one of the staff who wore glasses said and I QUOTE “ it is going to take as long as I clean it”... then gave a dirty look and continued to clean it. NEVER have I been to a restaurant and got spoken to like to like that by a member of staff who worked there. Once we got on our table, one of the waiters sat next to my cousin to take our order ( btw I did not know they did that in restaurants nowadays). So yeah extremely confused at that.

So my frind and i went to anither restaurant on saturday and i got shrimp in breadcrumbs to take away. She tasted 2 and for some reason decided she had to have some sunday. We walked out all of brixtin going to ecery single restaurant searching gor this particular item. We found 3 but them not in breadcrumbs so we thaught lets go satay. We walk in and she ordered 3 seeving of prawns in 2 different style . I ordered the third style plus another and wings. In the meantime we was having few cocktails. And i must say we had a amazing time the food was amazing and cocktails was great. The staff was mainly ladies byt omg they were so amazingly friendly and helpful. The visit was wonderfull great staff.ladies thank you

The workers are beyond a joke. Only one black lady was nice don’t know her name. Firstly we waited ten minutes to be seated while workers presciently walked past without acknowledging us. So we seated ourself. The bar staff had an attitude. We asked for one ingredient to be taken out w cocktail he told us no pick another (who does that). He seemed to have a problem we was ordering. The other bartender thought he was too nice to serve and pretended he was busy till other came to the bar, although there was multiple of us waiting to order. The floor staff whole attitude was vile, slamming plates , rolling eyes. Our food was cold we asked for it to be reheated, it took twenty minutes and one plate never resurfaced. They then had the audacity to add a £20 service charge. Excuse me what service did we receive.

On arrival there was no one to directly welcome you or seat you. I see this is a standard issue as it has been mentioned a few times in past reviews. We proceeded to try to locate our own seats and then a staff member hard a sarcastic and rude attitude. Good customer service in this instance would be to ask if we would like a seat and then proceed to accomodate us with a pleasant attitude. I could not understand his actions and later on I did notice a sign stating please wait to be seated. He had already seen us walk in, wait, then proceed to look at the booth tables for seating way before the sign and made no acknowledgement to assist. The food was very nice, hot and prompt. The server direct from the kitchen had a good attitude and manner.

Visited Satay bar for Sunday brunch. Our booking was at 1pm (first slot, second slot is at 3pm). When we got there it appeared as through they just opened. We were the first customers and the member of staff who was very polite asked us to bare with him as he was the only staff member there at the time. We waited about 5 minutes to be seated and maybe another 5 minutes for him to bring us our first glass of Prosecco.

The staff were friendly and service was fine. I ordered the stir fry chicken teriyaki, which was supposed to come with Asian greens and nori (seaweed). The chicken tasted days old and was dry, and it was served with green beans and bean sprouts rather than the Asian greens and nori stated on the menu. Absolute waste of money! Do not waste your time or money.

do not waste your time going to satay bar. The hospitality service sucks. No one greets you or tells you where you can sit. I tried to seat myself and 3 friends but they kept telling us every table that we moved to that we could not sit there. And they did not offer to help us find seats after we already purchased drinks. They made us feel very unwanted. I will spend my money where I know I can get respect and good quality service. Never coming back to this place.

We had reserved a table had to wait a while to be seated. When seated I asked if we could sit on one the tables at the back, we were told they were waiting for the last people to leave then would be closing there. A waiter then told us he would clean the table in the corner and we could sit there, they then seated 2 other couples there and never came back to us. Service was slow they brought our mains and starters at the same time, we were waiting near 20mins with empty plates and glasses on the table to order another drink but couldn’t wait anymore so just asked for the bill instead.

I reserved a table for a birthday dinner for 3 people on a Saturday around 5ish. When waited to be seated was told by a very unprofessional member of staff "your early" even though the place had alot of seats available. Once seated ordered our cocktails and our food, we were being watched by the very rude an unprofessional member of staff by the till who seated us. I didn't realise that you had a time limit on your table despite there being alot of other tables empty, we were then told by the waiter that our time is up and that he would be bringing the bill. By this point we hadn't finished our cocktails or our food so we continued to take our time but we were made to feel uncomfortable by the rude lady who seated us watching and pointing at us to find out that she is the manager and her name is Maria. At this point when spending so much money we had to rush our drinks at this point we all felt annoyed and had a brain freeze as we were forced to drink our cocktails so quick. All I can say if you want this business to work you need to get rid of that horrible manager her face is very unwelcoming and very unprofessional and that time limit for the table as people are still ordering and drinking and shouldn't have to rush. I will be letting my friends and family to avoid this place especially when Maria the manager is there I don't know how she got the job as she should be setting an example to her staff.

A range of foods which I like, cooked with lots of flavour and spice.hmmmmm. Nice decor, atmosphere, staff but can be noisy for couples. We went on a Wednesday and it was busy. Cocktails were 2 for £10 but if you have ever tasted the cocktails from Z bar, Mango room, or Cottons, in comparison this was like a soft drink. It looked pretty but lacked in so many ways. Would definitely go back for the food. Even my fussy husband liked it and that's really saying something.

Very disappointing. Service was poor. Usual manager seemed to be away (European lady) the manager covering had no customer service skills and no compassion. Really sad to see a venue go so downhill. It got to the stage where individuals were shouting to get the attention of the waitering staff. Overall a shoddy experience. Hopefully they read this and do something about it. Bring back the European Manager. Get staff that have customer service experience. Ensure drinks come before food. Dont allow the drinks to be sitting on the side take them to the customer, when bringing food at least take the old plates away. Smile and be civil as staff and try and find solutions but dont end up being the problem. Stop chatting to your mates as staff and get on with the job. Just a few tips.

Solía ser un elegante restaurante indonesio, con auténtico Nasi goreng, satay y el resto. . . . . . ha cambiado de manos a un propietario irlandés (según me han dicho) y está a la altura de cualquier comida china para llevar. El servicio, deficiente, las bebidas tardaron 15 minutos en llegar, después de preguntar por qué no habían llegado. . . . . . . la comida se servía con una sonrisa, pero ciertamente no tenía sabor a nasi goreng, ¡solo arroz con pollo frito!

Nunca me han tratado de manera tan poco profesional en mi tiempo cenando afuera. MARIA en primer lugar tiene servicio al cliente CERO. Ella necesita trabajar en otro lugar. Sus habilidades de gestión son atroces. Esperé más de 40 minutos para hablar con ella sobre un error con mi comida. Ella vino muy agresiva y sin disculpas. De rodar sus ojos a suspirar delante de nosotros. Esto es inaceptable, especialmente cuando estoy pagando por un servicio. Nuestro camarero fue muy agradable (Guy con bonitos dientes blancos) y se disculpó en su nombre por lo que no debería tener que hacerlo.

Arrived Friday evening for 8pm booking - very busy. Waited for 10 mins but were seen to eventually. Might be an idea to have non-bookings wait in a separate area to those who have booked. Having said that, the food was great - Big Belly Pad Thai - and the cocktails on point - Mai Tai all the way! The service was pleasant from both the young waitress who looked after our table, and the Manager. Both checked on us to ensure we were happy with everything. Brilliant music, and the ambience was friendly and chilled. Always a pleasure to visit this great restaurant and bar.

El personal poco útil y claramente estresado es igual a un mal servicio. No se pudo sumar para salvar sus vidas, no pudo sonreír y no pudo cocinar si sus vidas dependieran de ello. Tampoco sabían cómo dividir una factura. Necesitábamos salir temprano y querer pagar nuestra comida. Hicieron que todos pagaran al mismo tiempo, lo que nos demoró en irnos. My friends and I wanted to try one of the bars in the Brixton area. On Sundays, they have happy hour that ends at 8pm. Service was pretty slow due to how packed it was. Our waitress was really nice and helpful. When If came down to pay for the bill our waitress advise us we can’t use our credit cards that require a signature. I’ve never heard of this before. Walking into this restaurant they’re Trip Advisors signs including Visa/MasterCard logo. The manger comes and says there’s nothing that she can do because she will void the transaction. Maria advised us to go across the street to the atm to get money out (which will be a finance charge since we are out of the country) we end up using Apple Pay. This was a big inconvenience and she was very unprofessional .

Me and my friends went to Satay Bar on Father’s Day. We were LATE and booked the table for less people than we had. Needless to say it was very busy, however the manager (not sure of his name) made sure we were seated comfortably, he went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. The food was excellent as usual, however it was the guy in the red shirt that seated us (after we were so late) that made the experience memorable. Thank you so much!
