Yori in Cambridge

Nice authentic Korean dishes at a reasonable price. We enjoyed the lunch menu and particularly liked the japchae and seafood tofu jjigae which had rich taste and a hint of uniqueness to them. It was a cozy dining experience and the service is highly commendable.

The food here delicious. Cooked great and the just the right amount of flavor. I ordered rice with the meal, and apparently, they just straight up forgot. It really wasn't that big of a deal, but it still impacts the review. I'll be going back again, I'm expecting it was a one-off mistake.

Can't comment on food, because we couldn't bear to stay long enough to try it. Tried to eat here cause it had been recommended. Came in mid Friday afternoon around 3pm, place was empty apart from a couple just leaving. 2 entirely uninterested staff standing by tills. Asked for table, begrudgingly directed to sit directly next to their dirty table (genuinely seemed like an annoyance to dare ask her for a table in and empty restaurant, but it seemed rude to just take a seat without first asking...). Ok, will sit one over, don't see the harm as it's empty. No further comment from staff, waited few minutes to be approached with menus or asked about drinks. Nothing. Notice on the table a QR for menu, ok fair enough. Try to view it, no signal or WiFi. Fine, never mind. Ask staff for menus. Got handed 2 dog eared sticky menus, covered in scribbles where dishes had been crossed out and then noticed both menus were not even the same as each other.... So no idea what could or couldn't be ordered. Sod this for a laugh... Left. Oh and also, music so loud you can barely hear yourself think. Maybe will try again some day, but hardly a very good first impression.

If I could give 0 stars I would. As a chef myself the food is disappointing. It tasted like precooked/ packaged food. Even the steamed rice tasted old and was lukewarm warm same as the bulgogi beef and the pork belly. The bulgogi beef was way too sweet and dry. The pork tasted off. We ordered the kimchi jeon as an appetiser and it came out second last, the last thing that came out was my partners egg fried rice which came out 15 minutes after the kimchi jeon when we were already done eating. The staff were rude and service was extremely slow. We will never go again and we won’t be recommending this restaurant to anyone.

I was in this restaurant today with my friends. I'm actually not a big fan of korean food. But the food and the service of the staff was really amazing. Especially, the team work between the staff was good. They did help us with explaining everything. It was an amazing and warm atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I did not enjoy it and wouldn't recommend. We paid 27 pounds for a pork sharer BBQ and it was cold and was more like a single portion. The food was mostly cold and not great. We were seated upstairs where it was freezing, I sat with my coat on during my valentine's meal. The staff are very lovely and the drinks are nice and well priced. This is not good enough for me to return.

We were seated upstairs, but there was no heating, making it feel like we were dining outdoors on a cold winter night. The experience was uncomfortable and far from pleasant. The space was not very spacious, which might feel claustrophobic to some. Additionally, the prices felt a bit high. We appreciate the hospitality, but overall, it was not an enjoyable visit.

Given a very warm welcome. QR menu on the table is a great idea. Ordered quickly, food arrived quickly and was very tasty. Excellent service from the team, especially Mo. Will definitely be back.

The food is mouthwatering and good in presentation and hygiene. The service and staff’s are nice , the atmosphere is calm and peaceful to enjoy our food.

Arrived at our reservation stilighly earlier got told to wait 10m, we then came back and got told another 10m. We went outside to wait however 2 of our party stayed inside. They messaged us and they got a table, we went upstairs. They had been sitted at a dirty table with trash on the floor. 10m after waiting at that table, we get moved to another 2 smaller tables at the back. We order food and drinks. The first plate to arrive was cold and the meat and veg seems to have been sitting on the counter for a while. He returns it to the waitress and ask for her to heat it up. 2 of our mains arrive then the next 2 come 15m later. We are then served cold rice, I go up to the waitress and ask for her to heat them up. She takes them then a man come back with them and he said he will void the 3 rice's and the first meat plate that arrived. The food from everyone option was good after the issues were sorted I will not be coming back anytime soon sadly so will my other 5 friends who had prior had very nice experiences twice.

Despite being a newcomer to Korean cuisine, the staff made me feel right at home. From the moment we walked in, the staff were attentive and accommodating. The gentleman who took our booking and showed us to our seat was particularly impressive. He took the time to explain the menu, made excellent recommendations, and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.What struck me most was the efficiency and accuracy of the service, even on a busy evening with only two staff members on duty. Their attention to detail, friendly gestures, and prompt service were truly commendable.The food, of course, was outstanding! The dishes we ordered were delicious Hats off to the entire team for making our anniversary celebration so special. We can't wait to come back and experience it all again!

A fun and tasty experience. Not a bargain, but nothing to fault! Only slightly annoying thing is there's another Yori in Cambridge that doesn't do BBQ!

There isn't any problem with the food, you know what you order and the price, but the expectation is to have a Korean food experience. I felt that we just went in, had average food, paid and left. Forgettable and disappointing. Try Little Seoul just down the street and you will know what I mean about having a Korean food experience. The place was freezing cold by the way.

This place is usually great, but today they were short-staffed. It took forever to get a seat and over 40 minutes for the food to arrive. Plus, the door doesn’t close on its own, so you keep having to get up to shut it. Otherwise it is good.

The meal was visually appealing and was served promptly. The service staff exhibited a cordial demeanor, there were no discomforts noted in the interaction. Additionally, while the ambiance was designed to be inviting, the chilly weather did impact the overall comfort level within the establishment.

We had a really strange experience - walked in just before five but were turned away by staff staying that it was fully booked from five even though the restaurant looked quite empty. A short while later, we decided to try booking online and found slots available. Went in just after six and the place was nowhere as busy as we were led to believe. The food was average. The bibimbab came in a luke warm bowl (usually piping hot) which was slightly concerning considering it was served with a raw egg yolk. Not sure if we will be back.

The place is cold, 1 person working, new customers were we sent away, endless waiting for anything. Food is ok but expensive.

We walked out. Was seated upstairs in a freezing cold room. When we scanned the QR code for ordering. I would say at least 80% of the menu was out of stock.

I visited this Korean restaurant last Sunday and ordered squid bulgogi, bibimbap, and platters. The food was decent nothing extraordinary but the service was exceptional. A staff member named Jishnu went above and beyond, explaining the dishes and sharing insights about the cuisine and culture. His friendliness and knowledge made the experience memorable!

As a Korean, I don’t think the dish is satisfying. The price is very high with small portion of food. The ingredients in the food did not match what they have described in the menu. They took ages to deliver the food to us. I have no clue why people will choose this restaurant and compliment it. See attached photo, they said there will be fish cake but apparently two third of it is onion. It is just hard to believe that we saw hair in soup, which is a hundred percent not acceptable.

Very slow service, had to continuously ask for the correct food, never received certain food, £4 for a can of soda, food wasn’t good enough for the price, if you don’t wave a server down they’ll let you sit for hours without service

Reservation was at 6:30pm. Didn't get drinks until 7:15pm, the food was bland and we were missing many items and had to constantly remind them. The waitress’s were extremely rude and dismissive. Made us pay for food we never received! Would not recommend!

I had such a great time at Yori! As a huge K-drama fan, I've been craving real Korean food forever—kimchi, tteokbokki—and Yori totally hit the spot. The food was amazing, and the service was top-notch. Shoutout to Farzeena, one of the team members, for being super sweet and patient, helping us choose what to get and giving awesome recommendations. Can’t wait to go back for more tasty food and the great vibes!
