Fantastic little find, food was great. Hymalayan lamb was so tender and full of flavour. Staff lovely and made you feel very welcome. Will definitely be back next time we are in York.

The food and service were absolutely brilliant.

Lovely place but was disappointed to learn, after we were sat, that we had to cook the food ourselves. I picked this for my friends who reside in York, they’ve never been, as it’s listed as they prepare and cook for you table side. I’m visiting from the US where KBBQ is an adventure! I am used to having your chef prepare and cook everything. Prawns still had the shells on which made it awkward to cook but also awkward to eat, in hopes that we cooked them long enough. Overall, food quality was good, nice selections on the menu and it was definitely fresh. Atmosphere was excellent. It’s a darling but small cosy place. I hope KBBQ catches on here as it’s a great intimate way to spend an evening with friends.

Excelente comida en un restaurante muy único. El menú (que tiene unas cuantas frases de Gurkha en la parte de atrás! ) , es muy diferente a lo que vimos en otros lugares. La calidad era excelente y el personal muy amable y atento. Sin duda recomendaría.

Incredible food, amazing staff and great atmosphere! I'm a Londoner and pretty spoilt with great vegan food but this was by far the best I've ever had! Also a gluten free menu 🙏 My partner who's a meat eater also loved it! Also fantastic wine! 10/10

First time in a Nepalese Gurkha restaurant and really pleased we booked. It very very authentic, recommended food by the team and welcome warmly. The food is cooked fresh so be prepared to wait, it is worth it, recommend the Himalayan Lamb it was awesome.

Tuve una comida increíble en Little Asia, y su bibimbap era absolutamente fenomenal! El tazón estaba lleno de ingredientes frescos y coloridos: repollo púrpura crujiente, pimientos crujientes y kimchi perfectamente especiado que trajo una patada encantadora. La guarnición de cebolla verde añadió un crujiente fresco y sutil, y la presentación general fue impresionante. Los sabores estaban bien equilibrados, con una mezcla armoniosa de notas saladas y especiadas. La porción era generosa, y el tazón de piedra mantenía todo caliente y sabroso. Maridado con las alitas de pollo fritas y papas fritas que compartí con otro de nuestra mesa en otro plato (igualmente delicioso, por cierto! ) , lo hizo para una experiencia gastronómica memorable. El servicio fue cálido y atento, no puedo recomendar Little Asia lo suficiente — sin duda una visita obligada — para cualquiera que ame la auténtica cocina asiática!

Absolutely amazing, I was in food heaven. Manager was so nice and considerate. Asked my how day was, which was nice. He wad absolutely charming. Again,the food was stunning. Looked lovely and tasted better than any in Acomb. Would recommend to everybody ever. The rich juicy flavours of the chicken really brought out the exquisite spice of the sauce. Qué restaurante tan fabuloso. Excelente comida con sabores increíbles, y un gran servicio también. Viví en Londres hace 20 años y he buscado en vano desde entonces un Pad Thai que coincida con la increíble comida para llevar que solía frecuentar en ese entonces. Ahora he encontrado el restaurante que cumple con ese estándar! El King Prawn Pad Thai que comí esta noche fue increíble. Tan fresco, lleno de grandes sabores. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo. Toda la comida, incluido el delicioso plato de compartir, estaba lleno de sabor y lleno de ingredientes frescos (y muy buenos tamaños de porción).

Authentic, delicious and already wanting to come back to York to dine here again. Love that it is a family run business and it’s like you are getting home cooked food. Definitely recommend if you are looking for authentic Korean food and don’t forget to order the Kimchi - perfect side dish!
