Exquisite food in an intimate environment. Would absolutely recommend.

Fake Korean restaurant. Period! Bibimbap had poorly cooked Chinese barbeque pork (chashao) and napa cabbage over low quality rice. Stew soup is a mix of hot dog, starch ball and instant noodle without flavor. Furthermore, there were no kimchi! That is the real test of any Korean wife or chef.

Yummy authentic Korean food! So good. Friendly and welcoming staff. Loved the vibe there.

This BBQ restaurant is really great! The ingredients are fresh, the meat is tender and juicy, and the seasoning is just right. The environment in the store is clean and tidy, the decoration style is very distinctive, and it makes people feel very comfortable. The waiters are warm and considerate, and the ordering speed is very fast. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience and I will definitely come back in the future. Recommended to all friends who like barbecue!

This Korean stone pot bibimbap is so delicious that you can’t even squeak after eating it. It’s so fragrant that it turns into the king of rice in seconds. It’s the best bibimbap in the UK~~Nothing I’ve eaten in China is as flavorful~~

Stumbled across this restaurant by chance and I’m so glad we did. We had the BBQ menu and as I’m a picky vegetarian they made me something ‘off menu’. The food was really good but the thing that made it for me was the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and because of them I would both highly recommended and return in a heartbeat.

Great experience, away from the queuing crowds around The Shambles! After a little online research we found Bulgogi, and after dining at a Korean BBQ in Los Angeles we knew this would be a great place to eat. It's tucked away from view, but once inside you get a lovely warm welcome in a light and airy restaurant. The staff are very welcoming and attentive and we really enjoyed the tasty food. I love how you get to cook everything yourself, and everything was so fresh and tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good food but prefers to be off the touristy map! Well done team Bulgogi, we will be back when we're next in York..

Thrilled to have found this little spot! Stopped in here on a recent trip to York, and the Army Stew was exactly what we'd been craving on a rainy day. Staff are friendly and welcoming, service was quick, and the atmosphere is lovely. The food is absolutely delicious, arrived quickly at our table but clearly prepared skillfully. Would highly recommend; whether you've tried Korean cuisine before or not, their menu has something for everyone.

We had the bbq but the food portions were toooo small (Note the multiple "o"s) and overpriced. Finished bbqing but we were not full at all. We then ordered the £15 korean army noodles which was not authentic. Total bill was £77 (for 3 of us) and we went home half full. Service was alright as we spoke mandarin. Unfortunately we wouldn't be coming back ):

This one is upstairs in hongkong. The price is moderate and the taste is good. The clerk can speak Chinese and is very gentle.

My friends and I had a wonderful evening at this Korean BBQ restaurant last Saturday night! First of all, their BBQ is amazing! The meat is fresh, perfectly seasoned, and simply mouth-watering. We tried their beef and pork and it was a feast for our taste buds! And, their Korean kimchi is to die for! The sweet and sour taste is very appetizing, and there are plenty of side dishes. It is really delicious! What surprised us the most was their fried rice cake! It has a chewy texture. It is our new favorite! All in all, this Korean BBQ restaurant is definitely a place worth visiting! Delicious bulgogi, delicious kimchi made for an unforgettable evening! We have decided to come back next time

Can't recommend enough, my partner and I had such an amazing time here. The service was great and the servers were always happy to help. Food was spectacular and we left full and content. The service is very good, and there is a dining area just upstairs! The fried seafood udon is delicious, the 🦐 is very big, and the 🦑 is also big so it’s a bit difficult to chew. The fried chicken can be eaten twice, and I am happy that I also got a New Year gift.

My husband and I are delighted with the taste and quality of the dishes! The restaurant focuses on original flavors. Today we ate BBQ and Korean Army Stew, it looks like I will have to learn how to cook it because my husband won't leave me alone now. The soup was the best of all, and it had a lot of competition. I recommend this small but great Korean-style restaurant to everyone.

Recommend the beef soup, there is a lot of beef and radish, the rice is so big that there is even leftover 😂 The food is served quickly and the service is also very good!

Came here at lunchtime with my brother. It was quite quiet at that time, possibly because its first floor so not as obvious as some of the other local restaurants, but it nice and cosy. We both ordered the beef bibimbap and a side of crispy chicken to share. Food was gorgeous and the staff were really lovely and attentive. We will be back!

Lovely little place. Had an amazing beef bibimbap and a side of crispy chicken. I love Korean food anyway, but this was especially good. The bibimpbap was a really good balance of meat and veg and served in a sizzling hot bowl so you get the nice crispy bits of rice on the bottom as it's supposed to be. Crispy chicken was also to die for. Portion size and the price was good. Staff were so lovely and checked in on us and asked how we liked the food too. Overall 10/10

We had a great time visiting this restaurant. It was a wonderful experience to cook your own meat and vegetables on the bbq. The in-house made dishes such as the beef bibimbap and Korean crispy chicken were excellent. I also loved that even the sauces were homemade (and very good too!). Lovely and friendly staff. We’ll definitely be back!

My friends and I were visiting York for the first time and we went to have dinner at this amazing place. The food were soo great that we can’t seem to get enough. The staff were so nice and accommodating as well - despite our many request. It’s a little bit pricey but you get your money’s worth. Definitely going back to this place!

Really enjoyed my lunch today the kimchi was some of the best I've had and the meat was perfect. Would definitely visit again.

The staff is very nice and the food was amazing, especially the crispy chicken and the chicken in homemade sweet sauce. If I ever come back to York I want to come back to this place. We also ordered some pork and noodles which were excellent as well.

The foods taste good but over priced. 4 small slices of pork in bulgogi sauce cost £9.50. Love the fried chicken with sweet sauce.
