Siempre brillante cuando pedimos desde aquí llegó a ser una de las mejores comidas para llevar en Oxford, deliciosa comida, siempre caliente y libre de culpa.

After seeing the loo, I adjusted my expectations for the food accordingly… and sadly, I wasn’t mistaken. Both the toilet and the meal are in desperate need of attention. It seems they’ve confused ‘vintage’ with ‘run-down’. Not what I expected from a restaurant of Oxford calibre

What an amazing find. It’s apparently really hard to find a sit down restaurant in this part of town, everything is take away. Well, it was definitely worth hanging around. Food was excellent, very tasteful and authentic, the staff were friendly, and everything came out fast. We enjoyed our dinner very much!

Excited to try a new venue in Old Town but the service was so slow. We left after nearly two hours having just had drinks and starters. One starter didn’t even arrive. Another table got up and left before any food arrived and another table, a family of four, had just received their main courses after being in the restaurant well over 2 hours. I know this restaurant is newly opened but if they are to continue they really have to solve the problem of poor customer service.

Absolutely infuriated by the unprofessional experience I've had with one of the waiters. I've come here for the second time as I've been here before and I live three hours away. I went in with my partner and we were sat down towards the left side of the restaurant with a blue light from the floor glaring into our eyes. (The waiter we had was a slim guy in a dark blue shirt) He came over to the table and gave the food menu and drinks menu which I kindly refused as we do not drink. I can see him looking over at the table and bickering about us to his colleagues and quite obviously it's racial since me and my partner are "mixed" now this is the worst bit.. he randomly comes over to the table approaching me and out of nowhere says "are you muslim?" to which I said "no" and he proceeds to ask "are you fasting?" The absolute cheek of him to come over to my table and ask me racist questions like that's any of his business? Me and my partner were very uncomfortable and we didn't want to cause a huge scene so we left it. We are there, paying for our food, why did he come over and ask such questions to me? Because I'm not white? Would you ask a white person that same question? There's other people being served, they didn't get asked those questions. I am honestly dumbfounded by such comments made by that employee, utterly disgusted. Guess what.. it gets even worse. Their family/relatives were sitting opposite me and they were having their food to break their fast with the restaurant staff, one of the women sat there had her phone held up to her face clearly angled towards me like she's filming/taking photos of me and my partner and trying to be sneaky about it because when I looked over at her directly she put her hand over the camera on the back of her phone so clearly she was doing something dodgy. The whole time they were sat there bickering and giving dirty looks. Whatever the reason was asking me dodgy questions by the first employee, this is inexcusable.. secretly recording us. Now who are they to judge? A girl in a hijab was pouring a pint behind the counter especially during ramadan fasting hours. You are making haram money yet have the audacity to ask customers such inappropriate questions? And why is my personal life any of your business? Cultures like yours and people like you are who ruin nowadays generation and force your children to only marry within their own ethnicity otherwise you get disowned. The food is absolutely brilliant, one of the best I've had in all honesty but due to this horrible experience we will not be returning. Maybe if people weren't so judgemental while choosing to live in the UK especially. If you choose to raise kids here then don't expect them to follow your backwards rules. Caring more about what other people will think than your own child's happiness isn't good either. I hope you all have a really hard think to yourselves after reading this and stop promoting toxic cultures.

I dined hear last night. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a young lady with a fantastic attitude and a smile to match. I ordered the Thai green curry and a beer. I was warned that the curry would be spicy—one of the spiciest dishes on the menu. And it certainly was! But it was also absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant as a must-visit when in Oxford. — G.B.
