Hemos comido en varias sucursales de Itsu, todas son de decoración y comida similares, pero lo que destacó para Itsu Oxford fue el increíble miembro del personal una dama encantadora que fue tan servicial con nuestro pedido.

You just cant go wrong with ITSU. Whenever I fancy some sushi or ramen, my safety blanket is always them. Been going to these guys for years, never had any bad experiences. I do whish they would have some delas once in a while at least, to make it a bit more affordable.

This was the first time we had been to itsu and were pleasantly surprised. We had the noodle dishes with chicken, one with thin noodles and one with the thicker noodles. It all tasted very nice.

Really enjoyed the chicken noodle soup.Only criticism is I wish the chap who was serving would either cut his hair or wear a cap.Really not hygienic or a nice look.

I've visited this itsu several times, and have had mixed experiences. I am very positive about the self-serve touchscreen machines - you pick up your food, put in what you've got on the machine, pay, and then you can leave! No waiting whatsoever, perfect for anxious people. However, the food isn't always very fresh tasting, especially the hot stuff, and there's often gaps in the fridges. This is understandable - it's a high foot traffic area - but the less-than-fresh food is less understandable. There's a wide variety of seating and the toilets are absolutely fine. Itsu is quite expensive, so I'd recommend going for a treat rather than speedy fast food.

We’ve eaten here twice. The food has always been nice, but it is not fresh. It is quite overpriced for convenience food. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is quite clean and well stocked with condiments. The portions look small but they’re very filling.

Sadly, my latest visit to Itsu was pretty lousy. Itsu is always over-priced for what it is, but generally you know what you're going to get. Not this time around. It definitely feels like they're cutting back to save money. Exhibit a) A dragon roll that had really been thrown together, rather than "prepared" on site. Insufficient crunchy topping was augmented with some sauce that looked like something the cat might bring up. Exhibit b) No salt on the edamame. No massive biggie, but come on... Exhibit c) Anaemic, postage-stamp-sized salmon with bone in it. Mmmm. The tempting billing of "Health and Happiness" was definitely an overstatement. Exhibit d) Poorly cooked sushi rice. Reminiscent of the type of sushi you might pick up at a gas station. Service was fine and the restaurant looks clean and tidy, but the quality of the food was dreadful. Poorly presented and poor quality.

Aweful! No food in sight anymore just touch screen ordering stations. Appalling decision by a chain that promotes a healthy/good relationship with food image. Not only that it seems they’ve got rid of menu items with high ratios of good stuff to rice! More rice, more profit, less nutritious! Good bye Itsu!

We ordered a family take away via Deliveroo for itsu and while this was tasty and promptly delivered it was overpriced for what we got. The chicken thai rice tubs were lovely but overall not worth the money.

Pleasant venue with nice, quiet seating upstairs. Fast service, friendly staff. Sadly, much of the food was too salty for our taste and some of the flavours weren't as pleasant as we hoped (eg the klean-katsu has way too much ginger; the ramen are very salty even by ramen standards).

Was out with a group of friend and, as always happens, we couldn’t agree where to go for food. Someone suggested itsu as it was quick and convenient. I’d never been to this chain but was very happy with the experience. Restaurant was clean,p and tidy, food served very quickly and was really tasty - good sized portion for the money. Just be careful to be clear if you don’t want the boiled egg that seems to get added to every dish!

The sashimi salmon didn't feel fresh. The spicy tuna roll was bland and veggie noodles with dumplings wasn't special. The dumplings in soup I tried and i ended up throwing it all away. The service was great though. Food lacked va va voom and freshness

The atmosphere in this place is great. It’s on a super busy street, but somehow there is a place to sit. The choice is excellent, sushi, noodles, little vegi sides and soups are all part of the menu. Also lots of things to drink, including reasonable wine. Recommend it strongly.

Hadn't been to an Itsu before but was very impressed. Thai chicken rice bowl and teriyaka chicken rice bowl both very tasty and filling. Nice to discover a new place for a quick and healthy meal. Will look out for them in future.

My first Itsu meal was here in December 2019 and I was suprised how filling light and tasty the food was. Very impressed and the staff were frienjdly and helpful too bearing in mind they were very busy

Just visited today and I used to loved this place. But they put prices up and sadly..taste went down....had tasteless chicken udon with price up 0.70 p. Disappointed....

We all ordered a chicken noodle soup and there was no flavour what so ever and all the vegetables was laying on top and there was not many.

Absolutamente las peores albóndigas de langostinos que he probado en mi vida, algún tipo de pasta en las albóndigas que ni siquiera sabe a langostinos. Deberían avergonzarse de esto. Fideos picantes Udon también sin sabor, sopa acuosa, no picante en absoluto. La peor comida rápida. Deberían avergonzarse de estar asociados con la comida coreana / japonesa.Solo ve al sushi si vas allí.

Wandered in for lunch and ordered the veggie and quinoa bowl. Absolutely delicious, totally fresh and enough for two. We'll be back. Totally recommended if you need a break from pub food.

Normalmente offrono diverse combinazioni di piatti d'asporto e anche diverse bibite particolari e un po' più ricercate.L'unica pecca é il personale che potrebbe essere un po' più gentile e più attento alle esigenze del cliente. Je ne suis pas certain que les plats soient réellement sain : riz blanc et friture ..... mais toujours plus de kfc, macdo ou Burger King. Il y a certainement pire et sans doute mieux. Comptez 7 à 10 livres par personne pour le plat.

Was craving something fresh after the festive indulgences. A delicious box of sushi, reasonably priced and each piece perfect, and even a good choice for my vegetarian husband. Nice staff, clean tables, various sauces available on the tables.

My wife and I needed something relatively healthy and quick and we stopped in here for some noodle bowls. They food was fantastic. Service was friendly and the restaurant was clean and well stocked. They even had little clips under each table to clip your dog to. We enjoyed it thoroughly.

Since we came to know Itsu, it has become our favourite restaurant. The quality of food is great. The salmon is to die for. The staff may not be that welcoming, and that is the bit that is not very Japanese. But, we can live with that.

Even though I had an unpleasant initial visit to Itsu, the management addressed the issue and sorted everything out, making me feel welcomed. Because of this I will continue having my daily lunch brakes at Itsu as sushi is my favourite food and its close to my work. The site manager Anya is a very good person and a great professional. Many thanks to her.

The food is ok, but the sushi isn't very good - strange aftertaste. The restaurant and staff etc. are all fine though (my opinion reflects the entire chain, not the store itself). Ok for a quick lunch, but not highly recommended: go to Wasabi instead!

First of all, remember that this is a fast food restaurant, so don't expect too much - the meals are cheap and you are getting what you paid for. Having said that, they have tasty options, some of them vegetarian. The restaurant could be a bit cleaner though - my table was a total mess.

Sadly, the quality of food has declined over the last few months. Boxed sushi/sashimi/other ready meals are very messy to say the least. Last week, I've found a sharp piece of plastic in my salmon sushi roll!!!

Very convenient asian fast food. Food quality on the other hand is just average. The sushi was put in a fridge that is too cold that makes the rice hard.

"Where's the fish?" I mean the salmon on the nigiri/sushi was shaved thinner than a corn flake. The mizo soup was mediocre and it was the best part of the eats (well, that and the beer). The rice bowl w/ chicken was horrible. In short, if you ever had "good" sushi then you will be very disappointed. Not Recommended.

We were looking for a fast, fresh lunch option on Cornmarket Street so we stopped into Itsu. The two of us picked out some sushi and some dumplings and shared them both. A solid option if you are looking for alternative fast food.

Disfrutamos comiendo la comida en el Itsu con variedades de comida fusión japonesa. Teníamos pollo teriyaki, que era bastante buena - el pollo estaba suculentos. El sushi de salmón con arroz de sushi con pepino, etc. era muy rico. Llegamos a Oxford para el segundo tiempo y nos pareció que comer y tomar distancia en Oxford el precio no es el mismo. Tome distancia es más barato que comer en alrededor de un 20%. El personal del Itsu era muy agradable y la calidad de arroz utilizada en el sushi era muy bueno. Estuvimos 5 días y nos fuimos allí a comer y comprar algo de vuelta a casa a comer porque está cerrado a 10 p. m.

Asia comida rápida de buena calidad, tuvimos sopas, fideos udon, todo con cilantro fresco y verduras de temporada. El lugar está lleno de luz, con un montón de espacio, el servicio amable (un sistema de autoservicio), en el medio de Oxford, barato está bien para una parada rápida, pero un poco - 'para mí, un poco como en una sci fi el futuro. Un montón de información en gramos de grasas saturadas, fibras, etc., nada en las tradiciones, no personales, le falta una razón para volver, pero para una comida rápida, bien, lo recomiendo.

We only had a short spare time for lunch before our city tour, so natural choice was a place close to the Tourist Info Centre. Itsu looked like a Japanese fast food place, and we chose to go in just because we have never heard of or been in an Itsu restaurant anywhere else we've been. The large display above the ordering counter showed pictures of variety of healthy looking dishes so we stayed. The food we ordered was amazing, like you would never think to find in a fast food: real veggies in the teriyaki bowl, tasty and not fatty. Chilli chicken udon was delicious, and detox miso soup better than any miso I've ever had. Too bad this was our last day in England, we would have come back.

I try not to waste my time on complaints but on this occasion here it is:I've heard before about the famous bad service at Itsu but I`ve never experienced one,until I came to their branch at White City. Bad service combined with bad food.One thing for sure Itsu will never see me again in any of their shops.

My wife and I dropped into Itsu in the middle of a busy shopping day in Oxford. My wife had a cold dish and I ordered hot along with two cold drinks. The food was delicious the price was extremely good value and the even though it is obviously a fast food outlet we were very happy and will certainly revisit next time we are in town.

I don't usually review chains like itsu as the food is so standardized. However, the geniality of most of the staff here plus the exterior events made me change my mind. The young man behind the till (Pedro I believe) was extremely patient as we dithered with our order and went to select and change drinks. If I had been behind us in line, I would have been aggravated. However, Pedro's smile never faltered.We say upstairs, overlooking Cornmarket and the hordes of students and tourists. It was better than a planned cabaret. My only negative was the the "musak" in the restaurant was competing badly with the excellent busker across the street!For a chain sushi and noodle restaurant, this was good example.

I just had 6 warm mini vegetable dumplings on the recommendation of the counter assistant. I was going to pay for a cold pack of the shelf before I discovered they sell them warm. And she was right they are truly addictive (just hoping the dumpling was just flour and water mix). It came with this sweet yummy soy type sauce...OMG! So Delicious not really a restaurant review but a great stop for meat free snacking.

The Cornmarket in Oxford does the job that many town's high street does (the actual High Street is a magnificent road) with banks, shops and fast food places. While the queues of tourists build up outside Burger King, Macdonalds or KFC, come in here for fast food of a different kind.Yes it's busy, but it's tastier than the burger outlets if you're in a hurry.

A destination which caters to all the family tastes with selections usually made from their range of noodle soups which are good value, tasty, warming, filling & fun to eat. Like the facility of filtered water fountain which allows everyone to rehydrate for the shopping / walking that lies ahead. Stylish & simple deco allows for enough private spaces to eat without feeling overcrowded.A regular stop when in town as a family.

It tastes a hell of a lot better than a Maccy Ds, and it feels more upmarket. If you need to grab a quick bite, then this is the place. It may not be quite so healthy as you think (the Potsus are over 600 calories - the Chicken Thai one is over 700), but they taste delicious. Service is great - we were offered a free frozen yogurt to try. It was pretty tasty.

Absolutely perfect for a quick, healthy lunch on the go. Everything from sushi, salads, curries to yoghurt and fruit pots. Had a Thai curry pot which was absolutely delicious. Don't buy water like I did, help yourself to complimentary glasses of cucumber water! Loved this place.

We stopped in the itsu sushi restaurant for a quick bite while in Oxford. There were so many different options to pick from and it all looked really good. We chose an "Its Everything" platter and we really enjoyed it. The service was quick and friendly and the sushi was very good. There's plenty of room to sit and enjoy your meal there if you choose to dine in. If you're in a hurry, everything is well packaged for quick to-go service as well. I definitely recommend a stop here for a quick sushi fix.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Go to the newly opened sushi takeaway restaurant that is just across the street on Cornmarket if you are in a hurry. Better yet, if you want to have good and real Japanese food, visit one of the multiple impressive -- and authentic -- Japanese restaurants run by hardworking Japanese immigrants in Cowley just a few minutes away.Atrocious, racist (seriously?!) customer service. Very low quality sushi for price. They keep their extra napkins, soya sauce, wasabi, ginger, and such hidden by the counter and will not give them to you unless you beg. They will not offer you their student discount unless you ask for it six separate times. You can easily spend over 20 pounds on atrociously bad "japanese" food here and they will act like they are doing you a favor.Also don't ever try to use the public bathroom in this location as a customer. Employees will come knocking violently like a herd of ax murderers as you are trying to do your business and even if you tell them you are inside, they will continue to harass you with loud screaming and knocks every few minutes until you finally finish. Then, they will blame it on supposed "heroin users" whom they say live in their neighborhood and they have to protect the restaurant from.Because this place is bright, shiny, in the middle of cornmarket, it looks so easy to make an impulse buy from if you are running somewhere and suddenly have a hankering for sushi. do yourself a favor: Avoid this itsu at all costs. the sushi and customer service at the newly opened sushi takeaway across the street is much better -- and, if you want to support real japanese food in oxford, just look at the top of cowley road.This iIsu location is a disgrace to its brand and the town of oxford. It would not exist if the types of people who own it did not have such a low opinion of students in Oxford and their savoir faire as customers to begin with.

The premises is spacious, clean and well decorated. There is an excellent range of sushi, at reasonable prices. Half-hour sale policy is adhered to.

This Itsu is in the heart of Oxford. Yet it's quiet inside, full of people enjoying their food. We had chicken teriyaki potsu.If you go you must try the free chilled cucumber water.
