Grounded Kitchen in Oxford

Walked by the restaurant and the lovely smell drawn us in. Have a chat with the guy in charge who is very friendly and helped us chose our dishes by offering us a trial taste and we decided to order our bowls of food. I have rice bibimbab with tempeh.with mixtures of fresh healthy vegetables of avocado, pepper,beetroot,carrot ,herbs and sesame seeds, chillies and spring onions. It was delicious. My friend had ramen noodle soup with chicken with marinade served with kimchi and a combination of rich flavoured broth and vegetables, topped with Nori, fried onions, fresh coriander and spring onions and fresh book Chou. All healthy ingredients. He enjoyed his bowl of noodles too. We also have a cup of latte each with coconut milk . My friend chose blue butterfly and I chose matcha . They are unique in taste but ithe taste grows on you after all they are healthy drinks We went away feeling very satisfied and will definitely go again. If you are looking for quick healthy meal, I would rather eat in this restaurant of healthy Korean food than unhealthy fried food like other unhealthy fast food like McDonald or Burger King.

Came in store to and ordered takeout. When I got home realised that 1 of the 3 dishes ordered had not been put in the bag. Upon opening the other 2 dishes one (salmon) absolutely stank and was clearly off, the other was a half portion at best. When I phoned the restaurant to complain was met with “ and what do you expect me to do about it” attitude. Will not be returning.

Really delicious and very attractive looking Bao. Aubergine melt starter and Angus Beef Bugogi noodles were also good. Next time I'm trying it for brunch because the smoothie bowls and frappes look divine

I went for the first time this week. The service was friendly and quick. My friend and I each had a bulgogi udon noodle bowl, one beef (I got tons of beef) and one chicken and they were absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go again.

Wow, I am so glad I came across this place, totally by accident. The food is just superb, 1st time I have eaten here and would definitely make my way to this place should I visit Oxford again, or any other area where there is one. Bali, the young lady that served me was so friendly and helpful, a real asset to the company. I hope they open a Grounded Kitchen near my area, New Milton.

Beautiful restaurant with fresh and nutritious food options. We were warmly greeted and given some complementary Korean Wings which were full of flavour. We ordered Gochujang Chicken and Bulgogi Beef bowls which were delicious and shared some Bao Bubs which were equally impressive. We will definitely be returning again.

Found this restaurant as we were walking by and decided to give it a go. We were warmly greeted and the menu explained to us. We had never tried Korean food before....what have we been missing. The food was fresh, delicious and they tailored the chilli heat for my liking. Hubby had a chicken bowl and I opted for the aubergine and sweet potatoe, they came with spinace, beetroot, carrot, avacado, red cabbage, onion and fresh chillis (they were happy to remove any of the ingredients as they were freshly made) and 3 different sauces, both bowls were superb. We also shared some chicken bao buns, which we have eaten in many places on our travels aroud Asia and these were definitely up there with some of the best we have had. We will certainly be back again and again.
