The best restaurants serving Asian food in Oxford South East

Me and my friends are students, and after we have been out for the night, our favourite thing is to visit solomons! The staff are always happy, and the prices are defiently some of the best in Oxford! I have inly been here for one term and he already know my regular order (hot dog with ketchup), to the point where I don't even tell him what I want anymore - I get there and get just starts making it! Solomons is truly the highlight of my evening, and I recommend anyone whose had a dreadful night in Atik to give it a try!

As a Chinese customer, I felt deeply discriminated against during my visit to this restaurant. After a long day at work, I hoped to enjoy a pleasant meal, but from the moment I walked in, the staff’s glances were anything but welcoming. This place requires payment upfront, so I ordered a pork rice noodle soup. While my meal eventually arrived, the tap water I requested never did. When I politely asked, "Where is my tap water?" a middle-aged male employee with glasses became visibly irritated and proceeded to lecture me on manners. It was shocking—I didn’t come here to be chastised by the staff. This experience left me questioning whether I was treated this way because of my race. It was truly outrageous, and I am extremely upset. I will not return, nor do I recommend this place to any other Chinese customers. As for the £9.40 rice Ho Fun—it was underwhelming, with a small portion and nothing special to note. Is business in Oxford so successful that a restaurant can afford to treat its customers with such arrogance and disrespect?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？

Nice place, friendly staff. I am allergic to shellfish and find that there is always some kind kind of it next to, or behind food I would like to eat. However, I can't risk the possibility of cross contamination through people maybe using the same tongs, or sauce dripping onto the food. I pointed out to the manager that because if this, I couldn't have the noodles as we're in front of the prawns. He went to the kitchen and got them to cook a fresh plate if noodles just for me. Lovely. Yet, it would be much simpler to keep all seafood to one side of the food service area to avoid/ significantly reduced the chance of contamination. The same is true of the Teppanyaki. Scraping the knives off between orders, does not stop contamination risk.

I've never been disappointed at the Red Star myself and family will always come here if we are in the area. Food is so tasty, not greasey , spices are at the right level. Would I come here again DEFINITELY

Kimchi, steamed fish, aubergine pot, stir fry cabbage, kimchi pancake, soy bean paste tofu stew Absolutely fantastic! No frills, great food. Best kimchi I’ve ever had. Silky steamed fish. Kimchi pancake was a crowd favourite. Cabbage was surprisingly flavourful. Aubergine was authentically (weirdly similar to) Chinese Tofu stew was lacking, the tofu was not soft (per previous experience) but the broth was warm and comforting Had quite a few Chinese dishes on the menu My friend devoured his bbq pork
