The best restaurants serving Asian food in South East

Fuimos a intoku para cenar con la familia, el restaurante y el ambiente es bueno y el personal es increíble, pero los precios son ridículamente altos, pagamos £ 5 por un pequeño tazón de fideos simples y £ 25 por un filete que era pequeño y no vale la pena el precio, los postres eran caros también, pero no frescos, los gofres fueron comprados en la tienda de calidad y tan seco, por ese precio esperábamos gofres recién hechos... muy decepcionante, no volveré a visitar.

We were part of large group resulting in very slow service, optimistically we all thought adding to the anticipation of something glorious and finely prepared by the chefs slavishly pondering every ingredient. How wrong could we be? Let's not mince words, my korma was a pale, watery and tasteless impression of any korma in the long and glorious history of korma's. Presentation of this sad dish in 16th century Mughal court would no doubt have been a more painful outcome than my brief Trip Advisor review. It was the worst korma I have ever endured. It was cheap, but free would have been overpriced. Sorry to say we will not be returning.

Fantastic food and even better staff. Friendly service even at end of opening hours for last minute meal. Ellis was especially helpful, friendly and professional in manner. Why don’t we get this kind of service in London branches. Can’t recommend enough… from bowl to soul!

We ordered the crispy aromatic duck for two to start. The duck was clearly not cooked fresh, and was a bit tasteless and dry The two curries we ordered were tasty, but my lamb was also dry, tasteless and a bit tough. Again clearly not cooked fresh, and added at the end We wanted to order their signature desert, which was Jasmine sorbet, but although i5 was only 8pm on. Thursday evening, they didn’t have it. Unbelievable!

Nicest curry I’ve had from here in a long time. It’s always been good but now it’s better. It must be the new management

Our love of maliks is finally over. We have used maliks for 20 years, it was a luxury Indian dining experience at its best. The GX restaurant started declining before Covid but since the pandemic it isn’t the same. We’ve spoken to the owner numerous times and can tell the passions there anymore. After 3 pretty bad experiences at the GX outlet we decided to do a last minute dinner at Cookham. Started off nicely, but then the mains came. My lamb shashlik was very tough and fatty, more like rough mutton, not warm and certainly far from sizzling. 2 other dishes were like warm and it felt like they’d been left around or reheated. They did replace two discuss but by the time they came back, this time piping hot and the lamb swapped for chicken the rice and sides were cold and the other two in the family had finished. The bill came and was £181 - not a penny knocked off which we challenged. Still after reducing to £160 it was a very poor experience and for £160 I’d expect much more. All excuses throughout, no apology (common with the GX branch) and didn’t seem to remotely understand it wasn’t acceptable. Maliks used to use the best quality meat and products, but it seems the love of the owner has gone and with us so has our custom for good. 4 less than great experiences in a row says it all and we won’t ever be returning. Sometimes places change and you have to live on and this is one of those ocassion. The brand seems to have acquired an arrogance and complacency that has no place in hospitality and is now just a below average Indian with luxury prices.

Oh Spice Lounge, what has happened. Got a takeaway last night and i can honestly say it was one of the worst I've had. Onion Bhajis were burnt and inedible. We got 2 chicken dishes and the chicken was dry and tasteless. The spinach bhaji was awful. It's the day after and I still can't get the taste out of my mouth. Won't be ordering again. Shame as it used to be good.

One of my lovely Sons treated me to a take out out all we had was 2 curry 1 rice1 potato 2 nan 4 pop it was just ok ok very Expensive £45 and smaller portions I feel specially the rice and he surprise me by telling me there are different owners in there again so watch this space

Carne de chile - lleno de una salsa viscosa espesa insípida con pimientos Bolas de pollo agridulce - masa demasiado cocida y pollo muy seco más una salsa espesa e insípida Langostinos con jengibre y cebolla - asquerosa cebolla descuidada demasiado cocida, grumos de jengibre, salsa viscosa espesa Costillas - omg el peor - costillas grandes cubiertas de una salsa viscosa espesa insípida Rollo de panqueque - sobrecocido Pollo Curry - sin sabor, pollo seco e insípido Si había un chef en la cocina anoche, necesita capacitación y los propietarios deben aplicarse a proporcionar un estándar consistente de comida. Muy decepcionado - me gustaría que me devolvieran mi dinero

I got this last night with my mate. We had a feast and shared the chicken balls, prawn toast, chicken chow mein, egg fried rice, kung po chicken and crispy chilli beef, with complementary prawn crackers. It was really good quality every dish was great and we devoured it all. Considering the amount we ordered it was ready very quick. We didn’t have cash but they allowed us to bank transfer. It’s quiet in there and you can’t eat there but the server was very nice

Just had a meal for one, Turned up when they said & the food was so good couldn’t save any for breakfast 👍👍👍

Always use Halima when we are down here. Food is always great and a fair price. Totally recommend.
