Place was cold, food was really mediocre including the service.

It was ok, half of our mains arrived and others were sat there waiting. The soup arrived half empty, it tasted nice but wasn’t wow

Worst food in the world! Was so bad we couldn’t eat it!! Everything was sweet and had no taste and the portions were tiny for such expensive prices Do not go here! All the food was so disappointing and the restaurant did nothing about it. There is nothing authentic about the food either. We were extremely disappointed and ended up having to get pizza as the food was so bad. I would give it -10 review if I could for how awful the food and service is.

I had one of the worst experiences with this restaurant. We ordered a takeaway, which was salt and pepper tofu, pad Thai chicken, papaya salad, drunken noodles, fried rice, tofu with basil and veg pad Thai. Firstly the food came with packaging that had leaked. secondly the portion sizes were extremely small. Finally the food itself had no taste or flavour to it. Then we called them to tell them that there is a problem and they were not helpful at all over the phone and offered nothing in compensation. I would highly recommend to avoid this place.

The food is really nice but the service is absolutely horrendous. I came here on Sunday around 5pm with my family and my 4 year old son. The young English man working there he was so useless at everything it felt like he didn't want to do his job. I asked him 2 or 3 times to clear our table, and he gave me a dirty look. He picked a few things up from the table, and then he forgot to come back to take more. The restaurant wasn't even busy. It had about 8 people there on a Sunday evening, 5 pm. Every 5 to 10 minutes I had to call for service, the staff was too busy chatting away. When I asked for the bill, they then put service charge and told me my son was out of control and I should pay service charge. I would not pay service charge for a horrible service, which took forever, and o had to keep calling them. Would I come back definitely NO.

Such a bad experience. I am regular customer of Thai Square. We have been told at 20:50 that restaurant is closed. They do not answer their phone and even though in internet closing time shows 22:00 ignorant and rude staff. Service and food used to be good. Not anymore. No wonder place is much less busy. New management needed. Not coming back again.

We had a lovely dinner here. The food was great, service little absent minded in terms of taking away empty glasses etc - a table for 2 doesn't have much space! But the food was definitely worth it!

Lovely place, looked amazing for Christmas with a huge tree and decorations. We all had a selection of starters and mains. Everyone loved what they had chosen. Service was excellent and didn’t feel rushed. A great night was had by all. I especially enjoyed my chicken with ginger and egg fried rice. Thank you for an amazing evening. Sarah

Was taken here for birthday. The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is delicious. Not too badly priced either.

Very disappointed in the takeaway. I assume they must have forgotten what a Pad Thai is.

Duck starter was good. Thai Golden Chicken curry had barely any chicken and too much sauce the potatoes were mushy! Not a pleasing texture! Stir fry ok! £64 seemed a lot for nothing special. A discretionary 10% service charge not acceptable when only delivered 3 plates and 2 drinks. Tips are discretionary and should not be put on bill!

Average but much better than Giggling Squid.

Saturday night visit very accommodating when we had to change times for booking twice! Big restaurant, smart decor and delicious Thai food. Service was quick and efficient. Good do better with cocktails. Not to keen on my Pina Coloda definitely a ready mixed with little alcohol content for almost £10. That said good value for food and was polity pointed asked at the end was we ok with the service charge. Lovely location near castle, beware one carpark to the right ask for cash coins only and pricey parking to the left Ringo and free after 9pm or by the river free after 6!

Lovely Thai restaurant in the heart of Windsor city. It’s very close to Windsor castle. The food, location as well the service is excellent. It can get very busy on weekends so call ahead specially in the evenings.

Regulars here as a great place in central Windsor for lunch as we can guarantee good service, great food and a warm welcome.

I've been dining in and ordering takeaways from Thai Square for a few years, and they never disappoint. I highly recommend the Tom Yum Soup and the Drunken Noodles!

It tasted too much of the fish sauce and it was bland. £7 for a can of beer is taking expensive, even for Windsor. I think this is the same for any Thai Square restaurant. Will not be returning.

The Pad Si-Ew was decent, but the chicken was dry, there were very few noodles, and it was overall a bit bland. On the plus side, the building and decor were beautiful, and despite feeling rushed, the staff were friendly. I wouldn’t return, and next time I’m in Windsor, I’ll likely try the Thai restaurant next door instead.

Food was quiet bland and not very tasty, the squid we ordered was too chewy too eat so we sent the dish back to the kitchen and politely complained, staff seemed disinterested and offered 10% discount instead of taking off the bill, we accepted this but will not be returning

The food at Thai Square is amazing! There are veg and non-veg options. We went as a large family with some of us who are vegetarian and some who do eat meat. We were all very happy with what we ate and the food was delicious. The picture in this review is of a vegetarian platter which I shared with my wife. The staff are very friendly, courteous and accommodating. They were also able to cater to a family member who has a gluten intolerance and were able to make the Drunken Noodles dish gluten friendly. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend a visit to Thai Square Windsor.

It was my sons birthday we thought we would all go as a family. The staff was extremely rude when my husband was asking if any dish came with a teamed vegetables the staff dis not advise or guide as to what to order when the next table behind us asked the same question and they were helped because they were English white? We experienced racism in the staff. I mentioned to the staff I had an operation and had a tumour removed and told the staff I am unable to have any ice in my drinks the staff said we can not make virgin pinacolada without ice where I thought that they needed to crush the ice in the machine, I also mentioned that other restaurants do give me the sake drink without ice even if its a little less I am happy with that. Anyway thr drink came out and had lots of icecubes in the drink, I still told the staff I can't have it with ice. The staff was even more rude. I also asked for green Thai curry and was bought out red Thai curry.. The treatment we got as a family was very disgusting from the staff especially one member.he kept saying No to everything when we asked what did we need to order as an additional. I have always been going to this restaurant for years with friends, bit not happy that me and my husband were treated like we were not wanted there.

We were in Windsor and called in at Thai Square for an evening meal on Friday night. We had not booked but managed to get a table. The food was very fresh and flavoursome and we highly recommend you call in for a meal. We had Prawn Crackers, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Precious Prawns, Pad SI, Sticky Rice with Pinot We also enjoyed a Homemade Coconut, Jasmine Rice Sorbet. Next time we are in Windsor we will definitely back. Thank You

Disappointed with starters but mains were ok! Don’t recommend the satay chicken skewers as very dry. The tempura was awful. Decry oily thickly battered broccoli was just dripping in oil. Not tempura at all! Noodles were ok as was the rice and chicken curry but the Thai green curry is overly spiced so beware!

Went to this restaurant for the first time. Didn’t feel welcomed. The server made us feel as if he was in a rush to take order then for us to finish the food and in the end wanted us to leave. No hospitality whatsoever. Food ordered was below standard compared to many other Thai restaurants I have eaten before. Won’t recommend this place.

This is a cost-effective Thai restaurant. It is located right in front of River Street Car Park, close to Windsor Castle, and the road to Windsor Castle is close. The inside of the restaurant is very spacious, the prices are reasonable and the taste is good. However, compared to a large restaurant, the number of customers and staff is small, so it looks empty and the atmosphere is somewhat depressing. The meal was satisfactory.

Just had lunch at Thai Square Windsor and the service couldn’t be worse! Never returning here. Probably the worst Thai Square we have eaten at!

I heard that Kao soi was the most popular menu item, so I ordered it and almost threw up while eating it. It's too greasy and the curry and noodles don't go well together. The other friends' food wasn't that good, so I asked them to remove the service charge, but the owner scolded me and asked why they wanted to remove the service charge when they had already provided all the service. For reference, the hygiene rating is 4 points. Since it is hygiene, it should have been 5 points, but I received 4 points. I don't think I'll ever come back.

I dont remember what date I was therw but absolutetly poor service quality and charged me 10% service charge of the total bill.

After a long day visiting Windsor we found this restaurant between the Castle and the railway station. Glad we stopped off. Food was very good and hot and the staff very friendly and attentive. For a popular tourist destination the price was quite reasonable as well. Fully recommend this restaurant.

If you want to eat spicy kimchi stew, try jungle curry. It has a bit of kimchi flavor and tastes like kimchi. It's quite spicy. Drunken nooodle also tastes like spicy honey. Just Korean taste.. Top 1 food I ate in England ^^*

From outside good looking restaurant but food don't good enough small portion expensive don't recommend

Six of us dined here after a terrible experience at Giggling Squid next door. Our young male waiter in this establishment was excellent and helpful and the service and food was authentic, it’s also amazingly decorated and spotlessly clean inside. A must try in Windsor. We didn’t try one however they have various set menus throughout the day which looked like amazing value and far superior to anything you are likely to be served at Giggling Squid.

Good place to eat and relax with friends or before the theatre

It is one of the few good Thai restaurants with proper seating. Good portion sizes and tasty, too.

A nice Thai restaurant with a great variety of Thai dishes. The food is quintessential Thai with all of the traditional dishes. The staff are helpful and friendly and are open to go over any menu items and allergy info. Prices are standard in the town of Windsor.

Was an unplanned trip into Windsor and looked for some great Thai food, we were not disappointed! Food was great, and FAST, which we really appreciated since we were super hungry by the time we arrived. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was extremely neat and clean! Loved the deco too!

Staff was horrible after we refused to pay service charge which is not compulsory. The female waitress started getting rude and expected us to clean up. Will never ever go or suggest it to anyone. Most horrible experience ever since we went as a large group of 12 with a bill of over £500

The atmosphere and the interior is awesome. The food is great, we have dinner after visiting Legoland with kids. The Thai milk tea is very good. Miss the taste in Thailand. The lamp shrank is our favorite dishes. A bit pricy but worth to spend dinner in here. The waiter service is so so, seem Rushing you to leave after you almost finished the dinner. We had book our table via the fork, however once we arrived we was told our booking had been cancelled. We won’t know what happen but luckily we still got a table.

Lovely spot in Windsor. We had dinner whist staying locally. The food was tasty and fresh, but could have been hotter. The flavours they create and excellent. The staff were very attentive and it offered value for money.

Beautiful place to visit.. nice experience and great response from staff. We went for an office dinner and chose buffet menu and being the only vegetarian in the group of 8 I would be lost but to my surprise they took good care of me without asking.. will visit with my family again for sure

Have ordered on Deliveroo tonight. Chicken in coconut soup-the box was less than a half...literally a few spoonfuls of soup(have contacted Deliveroo and they will not refund me) Will attach photos here. Also ordered a Bangkok street set for one with beef green curry. The taste was amazing, but the beef really chewy.

I would not recommend it at all! We've been a group of 5 and have tried variuos dishes, we were all disapponted because they have nothing to do with Thai food. Beside of the nice location, the food is not worth it.

It’s quiet a good place. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. We ordered prawn panang, pad Thai, duck curry couple of side dishes. Pad Thai was ok we didn’t really like the duck curry, the meat itself dry and had a Weird taste.

We ordered three Chicken dishes (one starter and two currys) - in all three the chicken tasted very very dry. When we asked whether the chicken had been frozen or microwaved we were told categorically that they did not. Chicken Satay is normally brushed with oil and cooked on a grill, it was bone dry (no oil at all) and I suspect it was not cooked on a grill. The currys also had very very dry chicken (had not absorbed any flavour from the sauce). The sauces were bland and lacking in flavour. The thing with the best flavour of the entire meal was the Jasmine Tea. This is really disappointing as we live locally and we have visited here many times.

Place is good and famous but be prepared to be pushed and shoved. Guys taking order for drinks, will push to order main course and even deserts at the same time. Just a shame when you cherish the food, waiting staff are on top of your shoulders to order more food or waiting for you to leave.

This is a great Thai restaurant and right around the corner from Windsor Castle. I had the "Salt & Pepper Squid", along with the "Panang Curry Lamb Shank" (which was amazing). Both the food and the service was excellent. There was a 10 percent "discretionary" service charge added to the bill.

Went in with a low expectation and came away with all the boxes ticked. Polite well paced service, excellent food quality and ideal portion size. Above all good value for money and happy to recommend.

Excellent food and service. My only quibble is the price of wine and soft drinks. The Iced milk tea was £4.50 and the glass was full to the top with crushed ice, very little drink involved.

Probably the best Thai meal we've ever had! Absolutely gorgeous.. wonderful flavours, quite unique! Brilliant service too! And very reasonably priced! Highly recommended.

I only tried 3 different curries, weren't good as expected, hideous to be honest. The green curry was alright but the prawn was way too sweet and felt like i was having some sort of dessert instead of a curry. Prawn crackers were Okay. Curries were disappointing. Staff were nice and warm. Good decoration.

"After reading various reviews on different platforms, we decided to try this restaurant. The place is very nice, clean, and has a good atmosphere, I'd say. It's strategically located by Windsor Castle, which is a plus. The service is very attentive, with the waiter and waitress being friendly and professional. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome and taking care of us. On the other hand, the food is just okay; there's nothing special about it. We love Thai food, but the quality/price factor simply isn't there. Some of the dishes were assembled with a bare minimum presentation, which wasn't very inspiring. I was hoping for something exciting but found it mediocre instead. Three stars for the food, I'm afraid."

Went to the place after seeing a good rating online. Apart from the Ambience.....there is nothing much to like...the food was not good....the noodles and vegetables were not cooked properly. It was a let down. Not a good experience at all.

The food was incredibly delicious and fresh, with a lot of flavour. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. Moreover, the restaurant decor was simply beautiful, adding to the overall charm of the place. I can't wait to return for another tasty and enjoyable meal.

Although halal options are limited to chicken and prawn dishes only but food is really good. Most dishes are available in choice of meats. Very friendly staff. Always greet and serve with smiles on their face.

The food was fine and cooked well and large prawns. My greatest compliment is that it was a great restaurant for our very large family get together with 8 kids and uncles and cousins etc. as the space was large and the service was welcoming without making you feel bad for noisy kids! Thank you for being perfect for what we needed after a long walk and no booking in place at a busy time of 530pm dinner on a Sunday!

Standout was the corn cakes. Veggie spring rolls, tofu satay, drunken noodles and green curry were all good.

We went on a Saturday night and managed to get a table within about 5 minutes. I ordered a bottle of Cabernet Savignon. A few minutes later the waitress came with an ice bucket and a bottle of white wine ! So told her again that we wanted Cabernet Savignon ie the red wine. She returned with two glasses of red. Finally she provided a bottle. The prawn dumplings were nice but my chicken satay was dry. We both had the pad thai that was full of beansprouts, tastless prawns and seemed rather sweet. When the bill came I told them that we wouldn't be paying the service charge. Then I discovered the third wine related mistake. They had charged us for two glasses of red not a bottle ! I've been to hundreds or restaurants arounf the world and never before experienced such incompetent wine service. The food here used to be a lot better.

Tried lunch from here in the way to see Windsor Castle. Had an overall nice lunch experience. Staff were very friendly. The portions were good for the price. Flavourful dishes and quick service. The iced milk tea and the mango sticky rice were the favourites.

I was served by a young lady yesterday 26th of June 223 round 8.40 she was so rude Shouting at me , after asking for over charged for 2 meals, I said we only had 2courses meal for 2 and she charged us for 3 course meal, I said I need to see manager she says we dobt gave one its only me here, and you must pay I refused till sow someone speaks good English then she got very nervous, and she trued to stop me talking to him,then he was very understanding and amended the bill,at that time she run to my husband complaint and called him that I was fighting while my husband didn't want to speak to her after bringing the soup she didn't understand what we adked her Will never visit this resturant again it was our wedding anniversary and she ruined it cant belive people work there and can't understand basic English, we asked for desert at the beginning 3 times and didn't get what we said Awful customer services butte man with blonde hair will give him 5 starts he sorted it out and was very welcoming and apologies

A great little restaurant in Windsor, right next to the Windsor Castle. Food was superb, we ordered from the set menu with a couple of extras . I had weeping tiger (beef steak) and my partner had the fried tilapia which was definitely the better choice. Papaya salad was a great side dish to add, giving a nice balance to the flavours. A very nice restaurant, however, a bit pricey. £100 for 2 people lunch is a but more than I was expecting. I would eat here again despite the price.

1. Green curry served was too watery to eat with rice. 2. A butterfly prawn order was missed. 3. Waiter, who refused to give his name, brought the bill without even asking if we wanted the bill. To make the matter worse, he stood by the side with card machine pushing us to pay straight away and it was only 8:55 pm. I have been eating at Thai square Windsor for 10 years plus and the service keeps on going downhill. Not returning again!

Bums on seat sort of place . In you come out you go . Food mostly out of freezer , no authenticity in my opinion .
