A very lovely place with a great atmosphere. The staff were polite and friendly, with the food being prepared swiftly. The food was of an excellent quality and packed with flavour. Would definitely recommend this place. The Singapore grilled chicken laksa and the Banana Tree wok tossed noodles were splendid. Went again recently and was treated to some delightful food again. Would recommend all of what we got being the firecracker spicy Thai wings, steamed chicken dumplings, the beef rendang and spiced noodles.

Nice location and good service. I felt food could have been better. We ordered Veg Thai curry and Teriyaki Curry with coconut rice. The price overall felt steep for overall experience. Probably will not go again.

A great restaurant, the food and atmosphere were amazing. The staff were very good too, especially Mac.

The service was so terrible that I had to decline paying for it . The food took absolutely huge amount of time . Ordered starters drinks and mains and it took ages between the courses for the food to come. On a platter when I asked the waitress what sauce was it in the serving container she shrugged and said I think it might be BBQ, on tasting the sauce was a brilliant sweet chilli. How could the service people not know what sauce they serve. The satay chicken was greasy and tough , the sweet corn fritters could produce half a cup of oil out of each with uncooked interiors. The rice tasted like it has been sitting in the rice cooker for ages and dry . Overall the food is horrible the service is downright terrible . The beef rendang was great so was the line lychee quencher which was wonderful . The rest I wouldn't bother going back . The whole restaurant has ONE high chair for such a huge restaurant. Not happy . Not coming back .

Deliveroo order - nasty :( The positives: the staff are really nice! Made a phone call to ask some questions about the menu and they were very sweet. Now the negatives: Really sad to say this as I had high expectations for banana tree, given the positive reviews. Many praised the laksa, so I chose to order that alongside their "legendary" beef rendang with coconut rice. It was genuinely one of the worst meals I've ever tried. The laksa was such a strange mix of ingredients that felt days-old, the rice noodles were like eating plastic and the broth tasted artificial. The rendang was ridiculously oily, and tasted atrocious; definitely had something off about it as it tasted strange and all of us who tried it felt sick afterwards. The coconut rice tasted like plain boiled rice, more bland than the rice I would make at home (but almost costs £5 for a small portion!!). Will never order here again and strongly advise all others to stay far away. How these two dishes cost 35 quid (with service fee) at their normal price I'll never know; I paid £28 after using a voucher and feel as if I've thrown my money into thin air. Ridiculous.

Really quick turnaround getting the food out. Only complaint is there was no banana daiquiri on the menu and I don't love service charges in this country. £40 for a little lunch for 1 seems excessive. But good staff and good food.

What a great little find. Dropped in earlier in the day to book a table and was greeted with a big smile from Mac who later that evening was our server. We have some allergies and Mac made sure the chef knew about our allergies before hand. The service was not rushed and the food was hot and fresh and tasted good. Cocktails were on 2 for 1 but they had to be 2 of the same so you couldn’t mix and match. When we came to pay Mac was on hand again and we wanted to tip but Mac explained that a tip was already added on that gets shared between all the staff but I did not think the amount was enough so added more. Great place Great food Great service. We will be back.

Even though the restraunt was busy Mac gave excellent service, made us feel so welcome! The drinks are amazing and food was perfect, i would deffinatly recommend! And deffinatly be back!

Had the best night out with my best friend!!! Came for the 2 for 1 cocktails on a night out. The atmosphere has been amazing and the staff extremely polite and efficient in their work. Their cocktails (especially the 'One Night In Bangkok's) were superbly made and our server Mac has been extremely polite, constantly checking on our table to make sure we had the best night and extremely efficient in taking our orders and getting our drinks to us. Will 100% come back for another day/night out!!!!

For the price you can find better South East Asian cuisine in Windsor. The food looked pretty but was relatively under seasoned and did not dance on the tongue.

Had a lunch with friends, the place is ok and food was decent, the price is fair and staff was accommodating. Definitely we will come back to this place…highly recommended 👏👏👏

Great Laksa. Service from Christie and Loveno, superb, for giving their all to their guests. 1 star for atmosphere. Why? Understaffed! 3 people on the floor and bar, very busy, and they were struggling with people at the door, terraces, service and bar. Shame on higher management for cutting hours to save a few £!

Been many times to the bayswater branch and My second visit to this branch first time the food was amazing and service was good, this time not so good. Ordered the beef rendang rice was hard was not soft and sticky like it's suppose to be and portions have reduced so much since my last visit. Had to order more sauce on side because curry was so less. Service was very slow had to keep getting attention of waiter to remind them of our sauce, bill and then again to pay. The ladies toilet was absolutely filty and had to ask management to clean them meaning no one actually checking them on a regular basis. Sadly this time I was very dispointed won't be visiting this branch again.

We were here with our newborn baby and the staff was so courteous 😌 they offered us a sofa table so we can put our baby down which baby loved a lot!! Food was good just that the portion is quite small ( we were planning to go to wagamama bit thought this is some new restaurant to try so chose this). We had pad thai, green thai curry, pineapple pinacolada and coconut rice. Everything was good. Ambience is awesome 🤩

Beautifully flavoured pan Asian food in a lovely atmospheric setting. Shame that the service was appalling. 20 minutes to be seated in a less than half full restaurant. Barely acknowledged by the staff after order taken and waited 25 mins between starter and main.

Service was abysmal from start to finish. Waiter who “greeted” us didn’t look like he wanted to seat us to begin with. Had to ask several times for cutlery after our food arrived. We arrived at 9:15pm and weren’t told the kitchen closed at 10pm until 9:40pm so we felt a little rushed. Also none of the new drinks on the menu were available. Overall it felt like everyone was counting the seconds until closing time; it was a Saturday evening so I understand but still disappointed with the experience and definitely wouldn’t return to this branch. Starters weren’t great but the mains were delicious!

Sad to say that this is a pale comparison to its Soho counterpart; meaning it has somehow been whitewashed. The interior is cold, atmosphere completely killed and unwelcoming, accompanied by a visible dislike for the job demonstrated by the service provided by workers. The food is the same, except provided on plastic tableware, so if nostalgia and feeling like an unsophisticated child is the vibe you are searching for, search no longer.

It was our first time visiting Banana Tree and our experience was more than amazing. The food was absolutely delicious and the vibe of the restaurant was lovely as well. We were kindly served by Louemo and he was good with his great with his service.

My wife & I visited the venue for my wife’s B’day. We had afternoon lunch n drinks at Ivy (next door) & she decided for evening meal she wanted Thai food. Service - excellent service provided by Lovemo & Mariam, very friendly, welcoming n very cheerful. 10+ Food - excellent both starters & main course’s high quality of ingredients, well presented and tasted amazing. Gr8 service & recommendations. 10+ Quality / Quantity - amazing quality of food however would have liked more in my dish chicken/prawn but that’s me. 10 Ambience - excellent. 10 Sorry meal photos on my wife’s phone.

Very friendly staff, Lovemo took great care of us and was very attentive thank you for making the experience better! Food was a little average for me and basic and lakes some depth. The papaya salad for example I found quite westernised, lacked the palm sugar and fish sauce and lemongrass depth and the crunch of apples. Massaman was better flavoured (would be nice with some potatoes). Chicken skewers were very elasticated, think everything is pre cooked and warmed up as food is served very quickly. Overall service great but food very average.

Green curry was dry. My partner's pad thai luke warm. Service was abysmal, waited by the door for about 8 minutes. Starter came after mains. Place looked like its age. Rap music?? No, never again!

Chrishy (sorry i mightve got her name wrong) was amazing, she was our server for the food and she was absolutely lovely. We had to take some extra time deciding what to get, but in the end it was all worth it. Would come again.

The food was surprisingly really nice, I had the laska which I would recommend. But the star of the show was our server kahwah and his professionalism and attention to detail and friendly demeanour which truly set him apart from other servers. I would highly recommend coming to banana tree and recommend kahwah for his outstanding service and hope for him to serve us again!

Jadwiga’s service is really good. Although we have a wrong booking with 2 persons instead of four, but she still could arrange for us. It is so kind. And the food here is delicious too. We love the Laksa and green curry so much.

Really nice hot fresh dishes. Love their soups as well as noodle dishes. My go to is their laksa soup w chicken and honestly rlly warming for the heart 😂 their noodle dishes like catsu curry and stir fry r rlly yum. As a starter you MUST get their teriyaki grilled chicken sticks so good with the peanut sauce it comes with.😋 their drinks menu is nice their mocktails r surprisingly good their pina colada is the best! Buy one get one free for the same drink Seating is nice and relaxing the dim lighting sets a mood 👍

Food of decent quality but staff need a lesson in the very basics of customer service - ie don’t do everything you can to ignore guests, and do speak to them, ask them if the food is ok, and ask them if they would like to pay the ‘optional’ service charge you added on.

Came here for a bottomless brunch and the cocktails were really good same with the food. The bartender Louemo was very accommodating. Have come here many times. Would definitely recommend.

Very poor experience at BananaTree Windsor. Food arrived 10 minutes after ordering which indicates this wasn’t freshly cooked. Opted for bottomless option and had to flag down servers for drinks every time. Our server George not only didn’t check back on our food, but also didn’t take any of our drinks orders without us having to ask for service. They then tried to add service charge to our bill which was just insulting. Truly woeful, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
