Prawn laksa very disappointing, not genuine laksa. Nasi Goreng disappointing. Very westernised food, not really very good.

Stopped here for lunch while in Windsor. Adorable restaurant with good food and a great lunch special. Pan Asian dishes with combinations of curry, satays and more. 2 for 1 cocktails until 5. Service was attentive and helpful. All around a great experience.

Just found out this Asian Fusion restaurant in Windsor! Good location to meet up with friends, server Mac was extremely helpful and friendly. Cocktails was great with one for one all day!

My friend and I saw the reviews here and expected it to be really good. Unfortunately, we were left slightly underwhelmed. The atmosphere was nice and it wasn’t busy in the restaurant, however it took a while for service (getting drinks, ordering food, food at table) and the food was just okay. My laksa was the best but didn’t have that much taste to it and my friend unfortunately, did not enjoy having to wait too long. We understand that there wasn’t a lot of staff around, but with there not being a lot of people in, we just expected to be served quicker.

Lots of options and variety on the menu, many vegan options as well. Atmosphere is gorgeous and well decorated and the portion sizes for everything is massive! Chris was a lovely waiter and was very funny and sweet, would definitely recommend!

Gabriel made our birthday absolutely stellar and unforgettable. Great service, good solid healthy (not over salted, sweet or buttery) food for meat and veg. 2 for 1 on the cocktails was a decent deal though I drove.

It's a fantastic place to spice your life

Visited yesterday for an evening meal. The food was delicious and fresh with little waiting time. The atmosphere was nice too, very relaxed but not too quiet that you can hear anyone else’s conversations. Jagwiga was the gem of the evening. So friendly and accommodating even though she looked very busy she still had time to chat about the food and recommendations. will definitely return 🙂

Christie was a waitress today and she was super helpful and super friendly. The food was very delicious and I would highly the chicken massaman curry and the laksa soup with tofu and chicken especially on a Autumn/Winter cold as it's a warm and spicy comforting meal.

Banana tree is a lovely spot in Windsor with bohemian decor and a nice vibe. However, I got the chicken ramen bowl and was disappointed quite frankly. The service was awkward and the woman greeting us looked like she was quite uncomfortable. Our food came before our drinks and I was upset about this. Other than that, the other people on my table found their meals pleasant. It’s a good restaurant but I do feel with better quality service it would be better and more efficient. Perhaps a bit understaffed.

Mak was amazing and went the extra mile to make sure our every request was met. Definitely must eat here!!!

I arrived at 12.20 and ordered a pad thai with tofu and extra vegetables. The food was cold as it had come out of the fridge. Complained and they said the weather doesn't help It was 22 C! No response to mitigate. Wouldn't go back again.

Dining at Banana Tree in Windsor was a real treat. The moment you walk in, the atmosphere sets the tone there’s this perfect balance of modern chic and comfort that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. It’s vibrant but not overwhelming, ideal for catching up with friends or having a laid-back meal. The food didn’t disappoint either. The Ramen with gyoza was a standout rich, flavorful broth with perfectly cooked dumplings that felt like they had been made with real care. The Pad Thai noodles were another highlight bursting with flavor, fresh ingredients, and a nice kick of spice. You can tell they pay attention to quality here. What made the experience even better was the service. Our waiter was genuinely friendly and attentive, always checking in without being intrusive. It’s those little touches that make a difference. Overall, they delivered on all fronts great food, lovely ambiance and excellent service. Definitely a place I’d visit again.

Very delicious food. Beef Rendang is a must have. But the star of the day for me were the Thai pad noodles. They tasted really warm, nutty and savoury, a perfect dish to eat on a cold night. Prawns were really nice and crispy too. Lychee and lime mocktail is nice and refreshing. One negative I can think of is the Jasmine rice were dry but everything else was exquisite.

I was curious to check out new dining place tonight, we were greeted by very enthusiastic waitress who knew exactly what’s delicious on the menu. Her name was Jadwiga, she recommended absolutely perfect meals, what we felt like eating. My friends I brought with me were very pleased with tasty food and great food as well as birthday wishes. Amazing experience! Thank you so much x

Probably one of the worst restaurants I’ve dined in. We booked a table for 8:30pm and ordered 10 mins after, the food came an hour later. The food was terrible, the manager wanted to give us a ‘free’ dessert as an apology when the restaurant was already getting ready to close up. Worst cuisine in Windsor.

We went for dinner at 7. The place was not that busy. But despite this, we were told we had to sit outside as the spaces insides were reserved for people. The whole 1 and half hour we were there for, 40 or more seatings there were empty that that nobody came to occupy. We felt discriminated and didn’t feel they were being honest.The food was good but the service was so awful, we were not given any cutlery to eat food with, the drinks we ordered were left at the bar inside and they didn’t bother bringing it out for us. The waiters weren’t friendly or trained, they were totally useless, forgetting our drink but giving other people’s order to us. Even the customers that were sitting next to us outside had similar experience.

The food was very good, I had the Salmon Teriayaki, sticky wings and dumplings and was not disappointed at all.. and to top it off, Loveno made some 🔥 Rangoon Zombie cocktails 10/10!

Four of us went for a late lunch, but only three of us wanted to eat. At 3pm the place was almost empty, so the ambiance was a bit desolate and boring. However, this being a Pan Asian (or more precisely fusion) place, there were enough spicy and vegetarian options for our visitors from India. We shared three starters: vegetarian spring rolls, edamame peas, and papaya salad. They were ok, but the papaya salad in particular was like nothing I have ever eaten in South East Asia, especially the dressing. The dip for the spring rolls seemed to be mostly soy sauce, boring. I had better luck with my main course- the Singapore laksa with tofu was rather delicious, and my companions enjoyed their tofu and cashew stir fry. I vaguely remember sharing a chocolate orange cake. We only drank sparkling water. The French manager was friendly, welcoming and jovial, and service from the young waitress was very pleasant and cheerful. Our bill was £89 which included an automatic 12pc service charge. All in all a mixed experience.

Jadwiga is the name of the lady that most likely should avoid being customer facing. Came in for my partners birthday meal, she ruined our experience saying the restaurant is fully booked despite empty seats outside and inside. We didn’t have a booking so we booked online a little later came in with a booking this time and she said that doesn’t help either because she’s still fully booked. Seems outright rude and racist. Saw a couple that just casually walk in after us. This is our third visit to the restaurant overall a very unpleasant place the food was nice but if the environment doesn’t match the that energy don’t bother going. Hope you had fun ruining a birthday meal jadwiga 👌

A very lovely place with a great atmosphere. The staff were polite and friendly, with the food being prepared swiftly. The food was of an excellent quality and packed with flavour. Would definitely recommend this place. The Singapore grilled chicken laksa and the Banana Tree wok tossed noodles were splendid. Went again recently and was treated to some delightful food again. Would recommend all of what we got being the firecracker spicy Thai wings, steamed chicken dumplings, the beef rendang and spiced noodles.

Nice location and good service. I felt food could have been better. We ordered Veg Thai curry and Teriyaki Curry with coconut rice. The price overall felt steep for overall experience. Probably will not go again.
