Undercooked food, staff didn’t care didn’t apologise. It was like pasta rather than noodles! Have been up all night with terrible pain in stomach

NEVER ORDER DELIVEROO FROM HERE. The food is amazing. Though rendang portion is small. However when placing my order they forgot rice and sweet chili sauce. I paid for both however DELIVEROO did not compensate for the fact that THEY DID NOT ARRIVE. this is unacceptable. I am only leaving four stars because the food is very good. I am disappointed at DELIVEROO.

It’s our first time in Banana Tree and we had our lunch today. We got into the restaurant just after 12:00pm. There was no other customer at that time. We wanted to sit more comfortably and would like to have a table for 4 so that we could easily put our big coats and other belongings, but we were advised that the table was reserved for other customers who will arrive in 10 minutes. We are co-operative and we took a table for 2. During our time in the restaurant, I didn’t see any other customers in the restaurants. I saw a few delivery men. It would be great if the restaurant would arrange us a more comfy table and seats in such a non-busy cloudy and cold weekday at noon. Regarding the food, it’s not bad. Laksa is good, Chicken satay is good, Teriyaki steak soba is good. Bang Bang Broccoli is good. Cocktail was buy 1 get 1 free, also good. We ordered Laksa with prawn but Laksa with chicken was served. It’s alright and we ensured that correct price was billed. The soba was like Chinese fried noodle with soya source. It’s fine to me. Anyway, Banana Tree Windsor is one of the best Asian Food in Windsor. If you like Asian Food, I recommend you to give it a try.

Food was average, and the quality of service by the waiting staff was appalling - rude, uncourteous, and down right unprofessional. The roof was leaking and the roof water kept dripping in the meal. Overall, very unhappy with the visit and I am certainly not visiting again.

Food was really good overall, the Laksa was exceptional and the hoisin duck was tasty but dry - likely to to thr busyness of the restaurant. The service was great, Loveno's service was excellent and attentive. Even though it was busy, he checked in on us and provided great service.

Hoison Duck was quite over cooked but generally all the flavours were good! Loved the cocktails made by Loveno - the lychee martini was on point 👌🏾 would come back!

We went for dinner with my partner. Really enjoyed it from the moment we walked in, been served by a lady ,her name was Kasia? She made sure we enjoyed our time there and recommended laksa soup which we enjoyed a lot . All in all, great food followed by great service, thank you We will definitely be back:)

No one should have to wait 45 minutes for a take away order. It’s meant to be quicker than sitting in a restaurant. So many people were waiting for food. Won’t be coming back. The food is good but not worth that ridiculous wait.

I visited Banana Tree in Windsor and in the first minute I received a warm welcome. After I was given a table without booking my waiter looked after me and the drinks were wonderful. The Salmon Teriyaky was absolutely amazing and the Long Island Iced Teas were very tasty. Kasia was brilliant with service and I am definitely going to come back with my friends. Thank you :)

Food was good but the service was poor and it took a while to come out.

First time here and wow, it was recommended to me. I came here two nights in a row. The staff are amazing and friendly, the deco was on point. Big shout out to the chefs, I ordered the same meal on both nights. I would eat here every night if I lived in Windsor.

Fantastic! What a spot in Windsor, the atmosphere is great! Went for dinner with few friends, the palace was busy and the team. Everyone was friendly and helpful, it is affordable place and most importantly they made you fell welcomed.

Our waitress which I later realised is the manager asked my one year old do you plan to be a drummer. Then she added can you practice at home not here so our guests can eat in peace. I ended up speechless. This was because she was playing with the chopsticks. I'm disgusted how dare she speaks to my child like that. This is definitely not a family friendly restaurant!!!

We had a disappointing experience with the staff. They seemed to have forgotten about the children ice cream order, then they came back with the ice cream meant for a different table and took it back. I exhausted my patience waiting for the correct order. I confronted the staff about it and I was rudely told that if I wanted ice cream I should tell them the flavor. My wife had already told them the flavor in the beginning of the order. Sure mistakes happen, but I didn’t expect the rude treatment.

Had family here from America and they wanted Thai food. Ordered from here off Deliveroo. Everyone was starving and eagerly awaiting the food. A small bag showed up (we ordered for 7 people). Not paying attention at the moment, I took the bag and shut the door. I then realized the bag said "1 of 2" on it, meaning we were missing a bag. Frustrated, I immediately reported it on deliveroo and called the restaurant. The person who answered the phone immediately realized their mistake, as the bag was still there at the restaurant. Said we will contact deliveroo and have it out to you asap. Ok, fine. Some time passed and we called for an update, as there were two people without food still. They then said Deliveroo already issued a refund so they would not send the food. I looked in my email later to see there was a refund from Deliveroo in the amount of £1.55??! We called the restaurant back again and they said to call Deliveroo customer service. The whole experience was such a joke and unbelievably bad customer service. Such a waste of money. Will never order from here again. The little food that we did recieve tasted ok, but the portions are so small. It's enough for a child maybe!

this restaurant is a joke!!! we ordered on Deliveroo and we were extremely upset it is very expensive spent 90£ got only a few thing out of what we ordered. then when we said that it didn't come we were told to not worry and that they would bring it very soon is we waited for 20 minutes and checked to see if there was any progress so we called them and said that the food wasn't coming and we'd get a refund with I'd normaly be fine with but we had family that came all the way from America for a visit and we were out all day so we were exceptionally hungry so we just kept a calm and we let it slide until we only got a refund of 1£!!!! we are furious never coming back. NOBODY EAT HERE. ALSO PORTIONS WOULDN'T BE ENOUGHT TO FEED A DOG

Prawn laksa very disappointing, not genuine laksa. Nasi Goreng disappointing. Very westernised food, not really very good.

Cocktails were a bit more juice

I visited with friends. The starters (satay chicken and the dumplings) were very tasty. However the mains were not up to scratch. I had the massaman curry which was an unappetising colour and contained horrible chicken. It was also not very hot (temperature) My friends were unimpressed also with their main courses. The coffee was bitter and unpleasant. One of our party is coeliac and there was literally only one dish that she could choose....hopeless. Service was not particularly friendly or helpful. Give it a miss, there are better places out there!!

Stopped in here for a nice lunch while in Windsor. Located between the train station and the Castle this cute place is a winner. Good food and a great lunch special. Pan Asian dishes with combinations of curry, satays and more. 2 for 1 cocktails until 5. Service was attentive and helpful. All around a great experience.

The food slaps. Cocktails are 🤌🏽. The staff (Chris and Ciaran) are so lovely and friendly. Even when I messed up with my order they were super accommodating 🥲. Will defo be here again soon (hopefully!)

My friend and I saw the reviews here and expected it to be really good. Unfortunately, we were left slightly underwhelmed. The atmosphere was nice and it wasn’t busy in the restaurant, however it took a while for service (getting drinks, ordering food, food at table) and the food was just okay. My laksa was the best but didn’t have that much taste to it and my friend unfortunately, did not enjoy having to wait too long. We understand that there wasn’t a lot of staff around, but with there not being a lot of people in, we just expected to be served quicker.

Lots of options and variety on the menu, many vegan options as well. Atmosphere is gorgeous and well decorated and the portion sizes for everything is massive! Chris was a lovely waiter and was very funny and sweet, would definitely recommend!

Gabriel made our birthday absolutely stellar and unforgettable. Great service, good solid healthy (not over salted, sweet or buttery) food for meat and veg. 2 for 1 on the cocktails was a decent deal though I drove.

Visited yesterday for an evening meal. The food was delicious and fresh with little waiting time. The atmosphere was nice too, very relaxed but not too quiet that you can hear anyone else’s conversations. Jagwiga was the gem of the evening. So friendly and accommodating even though she looked very busy she still had time to chat about the food and recommendations. will definitely return 🙂

Christie was a waitress today and she was super helpful and super friendly. The food was very delicious and I would highly the chicken massaman curry and the laksa soup with tofu and chicken especially on a Autumn/Winter cold as it's a warm and spicy comforting meal.

Very busy and they squeezed 2 of us in with a warning that the service may be slow. Service was perfect and staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was delicious

Banana tree is a lovely spot in Windsor with bohemian decor and a nice vibe. However, I got the chicken ramen bowl and was disappointed quite frankly. The service was awkward and the woman greeting us looked like she was quite uncomfortable. Our food came before our drinks and I was upset about this. Other than that, the other people on my table found their meals pleasant. It’s a good restaurant but I do feel with better quality service it would be better and more efficient. Perhaps a bit understaffed.

Kahwah and Gabriel were absolutely fabulous. The service was superb, always with a smile and huge enthusiasm.

I arrived at 12.20 and ordered a pad thai with tofu and extra vegetables. The food was cold as it had come out of the fridge. Complained and they said the weather doesn't help It was 22 C! No response to mitigate. Wouldn't go back again.
