The best restaurants serving Asian food in East Midlands

Horrendous from start to finish. Reserved a table due to seeing good reviews. Arrived and ordered drinks, the wrong drinks arrived, we advised the wrong drinks were bought to us, and they wanted to charge us. Obviously not! We spoke to someone else, and they advised the original drink was not available and we would have to have something else instead. Food at this point was ordered, the waitress gave us no faith in what we ordered, so we ended cancelling the order and going to Paddy’s Martin Inn. While we was there a local advised 3 people had complained that day for incorrect orders and wrong food. Really disappointed was expecting good things from this place and actually it was an awful experience.

Fantastic find. Great food in a lovely old pub. Slow service, but we were happy to spend the time. We will be back.

Great food but service speed and quality has dropped since Covid. Need more staff upfront, always delayed for telephone orders

Had some good points but overall disappointing. Lovely chicken pieces. Mushroom pilau rice lovely. Decent price. Sauce tasteless and watery. The sauce in all 3 dishes just didn’t meet the mark. A real shame.

Absolutely can not fault Dhan Shiri, easily the best Indian food I’ve ever had.

Ordered a big order for 9 people. Arrived on time, Food was piping hot and absolutely wonderful. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend for a takeaway!

food lovely but never received my onion bhajee as ordered

Minor food poisoning right after having their steamboat buffet. The fish fillets are at its worst quality as it seems like being left in the fridge for ‘years’ and the meat slices are so smelly. The hygiene of the shop is not doing well and the ventilation is bad as well. Think twice before harming your body!

First order with them and it was all absolutely delicious! Very tasty and good price too.

Went here on a whim. First time visit and wow it was fantastic. Had the Christmas lunchtime special, was beautiful. Lovely friendly service. Left my scarf and the gentleman was looking out for me when I went back even though they had closed. Thank you. Definitely will recommend and can’t wait to go back

Food that was delivered was OK, far too hot for what was ordered (and I like spicy food!) but the restaurant forgot to send a starter. They promised redelivery within 30mins but nothing arrived after over an hour of waiting. They then lied to JustEat about what had happened. Avoid.

Got a takeaway from here and honestly, I'm sorry but the food was just bad. The jajangmyeon was an unseasoned gravy on overcooked noodles and the kimchi is the worst I've had. It's Def not proper kimchi, tastes bitter, like cooked cabbage rubbed with some spice I couldn't work out. The fried sweet and spicy chicken was ok but for sure just frozen wings. Worst of all, I asked for cutlery and they gave me a plastic spork... I mean... What? You ever tried eating noodles with a spork? Only thing I could actually finish were the wings.

Love this restaurant! Always amazing

Have visited this restaurant twice this year now and can truly say the food is delicious. I recommend the gyozas, the Duck Bao buns and the Makku Sauvignon Blanc. Lovely atmosphere, great service, please try it.
