So bad its going in the bin. Beef noodles had the strangest taste i couldn't tell if they were off or it was some odd spice but awful. Green curry, the veg was soggy and all dyed the same strange colour, even the wafer thin processed chicken was that odd colour. Tamarind duck was so sweet and in the thickest jam like stuff my teeth are still hurting from one bite. Prawn toast was all chicken and over cooked, also 4 pieces for nearly £7! Love thai food but much better in buxton, so annoyed we gave this place a try as i now have to find something for my tea!!

Ordered various dishes for family of 5 .Best takeaway food we've ever had. !! Nice to see the cooking at front of house , nice and clean .

Ordered a delivery from the online website for four people. Food was lovely and flavoursome and arrived quickly. Would highly recommend.

Terrible food bland delivery service was good however the food was bland and the black pepper sauce was watery and not really edible. A real shame because we think it’s a great business but come on sort this out. Every time we order we get different variations on what we have ordered awful.

Making a night out, we started at the Thai Delight. They were busy, and seemed as though they might be short staffed, but we needn’t have worried. The service was prompt and courteous throughout Actually haven’t eaten here since pre-Covid, but it’s even better than we remembered Difficult to choose from the menu too, so we “force” ourselves to have three starters (between two). The mains are a perfect size Definitely be returning when the occasion presents itself

Believe it or not we have in the past so enjoyed the food here we travel from Bolton and make an afternoon out of it . Tonight . When we came to eat our food . The only item right was the chips . The meal ordered was egg noodles . Got flat noodles stuck together like mush . I ordered a prawn dish with red peppers no green so the difference was not made up l just got less in total 4 small pieces . . I had four prawns . Mainly gravy and a sparse amount of cashew nuts. My partner ordered a prawn with pinapple and lychees red curry and got exactly the same as mine . .We had already waited for our meal and were not able to return to tell them . Im very disappointed on this occasion .

We have been enjoying meal deliveries from here during the last 18 months. Food arrives promptly and always piping hot! Easy to order on-line. Friendly staff. Never disappointed with our choices. Thank you!

We had heard about this Gem of a Thai Take away from friends,I couldn't recommend them high enough top quality competitively priced.I found the staff extremely helpful. Prompt delivery service.

An hour late but not too bothered about that . But food cold . starter of mixed starters just soggy cold fried veg. “ stir fry” Duck dish a couple of pieces of gristley duck in some soggy veg ( cut in some I interesting shapes ) beef Thai curry , almost no beef , but loads of potato and carrots , very odd .. a British take on Thai ? I could go on . Such a shame as we were looking forward to trying .. and for £55 😒

A little disappointed if I'm onist heard such raving reviews about this place. The fish cakes were dry and tasteless and the curry was to watery like a soup. Dont think I'll be ordering again.

I was up in Buxton on a job and only discovered Thai Delight at the end of my trip. Wished I tried it earlier, as the food was incredible. I had veg massaman and veg pad Thai, both dishes were honestly the best examples of both dishes, I have had. Very very good. Keep up the great work, your food is fantastic!

Ordered a delivery but it arrived 45 mins late and cold. Food was very average, nothing special as Thai food goes but the late delivery and cold food really put a dampener on the evening. Ah well, we won’t bother ordering from here again.

Ordered a family take out from here, it was a Saturday so it’s easier to collect. Arrived slightly early for my food, the gentlemen on deliveries spoke with everyone waiting which passed the time of the short wait. He then have us complimentary crackers to enjoy with the meal. The food was amazing, we will definitely be returning to Thai delight, not a single complaint from the family.

Would recommend this place as an eat-in, as the food itself was good. However we ordered for delivery. Our order was placed at 17:20 for 19:00 delivery. Immediately we were called saying they would struggle to deliver for 19:00 and asked if we could push to 20:00, which we agreed to. At 20:25 we had heard nothing, so gave the restaurant a call. We were met with a defensive man on the phone, saying he would try to get us the food within the next half hour, but was clear in making no promises. Our food arrived at 21:00 - the delivery driver was apologetic in person, but this wasn’t the same person we had spoken with earlier in the evening. All in all, eat in, but don’t get a delivery!

take away only which was great for us as we where staying in Buxton and did not fancy the hotel dining option. fast efficient service and nice food. we had the mixed vegie started and it was massive. nice food good value for money.

Had a really nice takeaway from here when we were holidaying in Dove Holes. It was delivered efficiently, portions were generous and my husband is *still* raving about the red Thai curry, whilst I'm craving the duck spring rolls! Nice!

Stayed in Buxton 2 nights and got my evening takeaway both occasions from Thai Delight. The food was fresh-tasting and full of flavour, portions of meat generous and the staff friendly. Really appreciated the Christmas card in my carrier bag too. Thanks to Jonny and his team!

Had food delivered from here at lunch time... delivery was on time.. the guy was ever so pleasant! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food! Definitely would recommend!! Fab thank you!!

Came to visit here after hearing good reviews, was a little disappointed. The chicken satays were dry and tasteless, the pad thai was far to clumpy couldn't finish it and to top it off the curry had a very fishy smell to it. Only good thing I enjoyed was there puddings. Would I go there again? Probably not.

Ordered some food from here after being excited for quite a long time. Sadly what arrived did not hit the spot. I ordered the mixed starters and pad Thai. The starters were mostly good however the fish cake had a very rubbery texture and not much flavour of fish. The chicken and prawn toast was very brown a little over fried I think. But the rest was very tasty. Now for the main course and what a disappointment the beef itself was lovely and tender, the sauce however had way too much fish sauce in and overpowered the whole dish and rather than enhancing left a rather unpleasant taste in the mouth. The peanuts weren’t roasted anywhere near long enough and the sauce was far too thick and gloopy. I have spent 4 years living in Thailand and working at the mandarin oriental in Bangkok to know what I’m talking about. I’ve eaten a lot of pad Thai. Nice try , not unpleasant just not quite right.

Love their food as it’s full of fresh ingredients, delicious and good value for money. Delivery is quick and very friendly.

Had plenty of takeaways from here. Every food choice we have tried has been delicious. Delivery time is very quick. Excellent service and highly recommended.
