Got a takeaway from here and honestly, I'm sorry but the food was just bad. The jajangmyeon was an unseasoned gravy on overcooked noodles and the kimchi is the worst I've had. It's Def not proper kimchi, tastes bitter, like cooked cabbage rubbed with some spice I couldn't work out. The fried sweet and spicy chicken was ok but for sure just frozen wings. Worst of all, I asked for cutlery and they gave me a plastic spork... I mean... What? You ever tried eating noodles with a spork? Only thing I could actually finish were the wings.

I visited this Korean restaurant today and ordered the galbitang (beef short rib soup). The zucchini in the soup had a noticeably bitter taste, so I brought it to the owner’s attention. The soup was taken back and later returned without any explanation. Only after I asked was I told that a new bowl had been prepared — though the bitterness remained, likely due to the same ingredients being used. What I found a bit disappointing was that there was no explanation given proactively, nor was there any apology for the issue. After doing some research, I learned that bitter zucchini can sometimes cause digestive discomfort, which left me slightly concerned. Despite the situation, a service charge was still added to the bill, which I found a bit surprising. I would suggest that future customers taste their dish first, just to ensure everything is in order. Hopefully the restaurant can take this kind of feedback into consideration and make improvements.

Came here after getting the takeaway for a while and being impressed. Really enjoyed the bbq and service was quick. Would reccomend the bulgogi and getting lettuce leaves to wrap your meat in. Lots of tables available midweek at 7ish and good value food. Spent £60 for 3 of us and left very full.

Had the set meal for 6 of us which was fantastic as we got to try a variety of dishes, mum was freaked out by the raw egg yolk but we stirred it into the hot rice then she was fine. I loved cooking the food on the table it made it great fun and social, definitely going back. Staff were lovely and so attentive thankyou

We had a situation where we ordered off of uber eats but the delivery did not come, we ended up coming down to the restaurant and the nice lady there helped us and although Uber refused to reimburse us, Miss Korea decided to reimburse us out of kindness. I have been coming here for a while now and love the food every time!! Huge fan!

Negative points : In regards to food , the main topic , it wasn’t good at all. The meat was extremely tough and dry. Seasonings on chicken and soups are good but the meat is very bad. The tabokki is undercooked by about 2minutes, again this lacks spice and flavours. Korean pancakes are lukewarm and nothing wow. Payment : they only take cash or bank transfer. Positives: Interior is nice , cozy and was clean , 5 star hygiene . Staff was polite enough , place was just me and my friend , another pair came in later and that was it , so 4 people in a whole lunch service. Total price for 2, £55.50 Concision: If the food quality was much better I’d be back , because it was so bad I’m better off spending that money in the Asian supermarket and making hot pot to feed 4 for the same price and much better quality.

Vine aquí a almorzar con mi hija. Sé mucho sobre la cocina coreana, ya que soy un entusiasta en casa y pensé que sería bueno invitar a mi hija y a mí a almorzar. Pedimos 2 aperitivos y uno principal cada uno. Los aperitivos no llegaron al mismo tiempo - el pollo era alitas de pollo y me di cuenta por el color de la carne que estaban congelados y no frescos. Un punto menor ya que eran sabrosos. El tteokbokki era decepcionantemente soso, con mucho calor, pero sin profundidad de sabor y con una gran necesidad de sal. Mi hijas bulgogi era muy agradable con una porción decente servida con arroz. Pedí fideos de cerdo y kimchi y el plato estaba tan mal que no era comestible. El cerdo tenía el sabor más extraño... como cuando el cerdo está en el turno de apagarse... sabía así. Todo el plato estaba absolutamente ahogado en aceite y había una piscina de él sentado en el fondo del plato. No podía comérmelo. Discretamente informé a nuestro servidor que fue muy amable de ser justo y dijo que informarían a la cocina. Afortunadamente mi hija no pudo terminar su comida, así que tuve algo de la suya. Cuando pagué la cuenta, mi plato no comestible estaba allí - y pregunté si podían 50% ya que apenas había comido nada y en realidad lo eliminaron de la cuenta. Lo cual fue amable pero debieron haberlo quitado antes de presentármelo. Tenía muchas esperanzas puestas en Miss Corea y desafortunadamente no se realizaron. Hay un fantástico lugar coreano en Derby - Omomo el menú es más pequeño, pero la calidad de la comida y el servicio es simplemente increíble. Ve allí en su lugar.

I visited here yesterday with my family and everything was lovely. The staff were welcoming and all smiles. The food was excellent and we enjoyed cooking our own meat. Would definitely visit again.

The fish stew/soup was not so spicy as described and the mussels tasted too fishy, i.e. not so fresh. Additionally, I would have expected the shells to have been removed from the king prawns. Left the majority of the dish as was awkward to eat and I didn't find it particularly tasty.

The food is ok, but not great. I had the seafood stew with rice which was good and came back 2 weeks later and they had changed the recipe and taken the prawns out?? The japenese curry also changed, you used to get a lot of sauce and now they only drizzle some on? Also decided to try the Takoyaki and was disappointed, was just mushy and wet inside. The staff are visibly annoyed when you query anything which doesn’t create a nice atmosphere and just puts you off enjoying your food. Miss Korea used to be one of my favourites but it’s definitely going downhill… I don’t know why they’ve changed so much but the service and food isn’t what is used to be.

This place overall is nice but some small tweaks like making the payment contactless and not bank transfer would be helpful. Also some instructions to what we’re supposed to do really like how long to cook the meat and what temperature to put it at. But the atmosphere makes up for it it’s nice and cosy and worth a visit and reasonably priced.🤑

Don't come to this store!!! The Korean fried noodles here don't taste good at all!!!! And the waiters had a bad attitude!

The food is generally very food especially the soup dish. Definitely can warm you up in winter. But the kimchi pancake is not crunchy enough bc it’s bit too soft. The noodle dish is also decent but a bit too sweet for me personally. Still a 6.7/10. At last but not least, the way they only accept payment by bank transfer or cash without showing any sign for that is very dodgy. Hope it can be improved in the future. It’s not convenient for clients.

Absolutely gorgeous fresh food, the restaurant is beautiful and very clean, we had a great night here tonight and will most definitely be coming back, the prices are just incredible for the food you are served too, fresh, amazingly flavoured just overall a gorgeous experience, definitely a 5 star restaurant in my eyes!

Don’t get the ramen soup noodle. I’ve tried ramen from many restaurants and grocery stores. This is by far the worst I’ve ever tried in my life. Grey chicken, broth was like water, spaghetti noodles? Horrible. No fork so I had to hunt one down

My go-to Korean food spot, left me a bit disappointed this time. The flavors in the dishes were there, and the Doenjang-jjigae, albeit a bit salty, was still decent.. however, I couldn't help but notice smaller seafood portions for the stew. What really got to me was the service.. we patiently waited almost an hour, tried calling multiple times, and it seemed like others who came in later got served first 🤠 it was slower than usual, and some of the staff came off as a bit rude. The restroom was also not well-kept, it was wet and dirty. Hoping for a better experience next time.

Nice place and food good. The place was busy (Sunday lunchtime) which affected service slightly but the waitress was very apologetic and that's good enough for me. Prices were good too = around £33 total for two mains, two desserts, three drinks and service charge. Others have said this but worth reiterating - they don't take cards of any kind - either cash or bank transfer only (the details are on the counter but wait for them to take a photograph of the remittance advice before logging out of your banking app) but they took care to mention this before taking our order.

It's an experience. Automatically added 10% service charge to the bill. They took an order and brought drinks, rice, and raw meat to the table. Food was cooked to perfection (by us). Service charge wasn't paid.

Muy buena comida en buen restaurante con buen servicio. Algunos de los mejores bulgogi de siempre, carne tierna muy fresca con salsa sabrosa. Buena sopa, grandes fideos. El servicio era bueno, eficiente y todo servía con una sonrisa.

Just had a delivery from Deliveroo which contains the sweet and spicy fried chicken which was amazing, even though it traveled 15 minutes to my home it was still crunchy and and moist with bags of flavour. I also ha jajangmyeon which was not very good at all, in fact I would say it was bad. It lacked the thick black grave that you normally get and also had no flavour and was very dry. If I had received this in restaurant I would have asked for a refund.

Wanted to stop for a sit down meal but only had time to get a takeaway Bebimbap. Wow, best takeaway food I've ever had. Almost on par with Dolsot Bebimbaps I used to have in Incheon.

It was quiet when we went, so I cannot comment on the atmosphere. The staff were fantastic, as was the food. One dish was ever so slightly salty. The other two were beyond expectation (my partner is Chinese, so all we cook at home is Asian food and we have certain expectations). We will definitely revisit.

It is so strange that they only do bank transfer and accepting cash. Food were not particularly good, as they were left overnight and not fresh. I have also got some rude comments from a Chinese waitress for not knowing how to speak mandarin.

Going there for the second time. The food taste good. However the service is bad and confusing because the waitress was really RUDE and she had difficulty to understand English as well. I would say the service charge is absolute useless because the service was horrible.

Food good though we cooked it ourselves! Absolutely boiling in the restaurant, no air conditioning or fans. They "forgot" items on our order and had to be reminded.

Been here tonight for the first time ever, after reading some reviews on the way I were in two minds and were desperately trying to see if there was anywhere else to go and persuade my partner.. we travelled around 30 minutes to get here. On arrival, we were greeted into a warm lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The staff took us to a table and immediately made us aware it was cash or bank transfer only (we read this was the case) but no problem! The tables are absolutely amazing with very clean bbq style in the middle to cook the food on.. the menus are amazing which lots of different choices to suit all. Very attentive staff, asked us which drinks we would like and once we were ready to order came over to take the order. We ordered a soup, a platter of seafood, meat and sushi - this were for 3 of us (one 8 year old) this was more than plenty. It was a lovely night and a beautiful meal with perfect food… very fun for the family to interact with cooking food and also trying new things! Overall, it was not so busy but this was a Monday night after work.. but our experience here were 5* in our opinion. PLEASE do not judge this place by the reviews like I almost did. Give this place a go.. you will not regret it. We will definitely be back in the future. Thank you

He estado aquí esta noche por primera vez, después de leer algunas críticas en el camino yo estaba en dos mentes y estaba tratando desesperadamente de ver si había algún otro lugar para ir y persuadir a mi compañero. . viajamos alrededor de 30 minutos para llegar aquí. A la llegada, nos recibieron en un ambiente cálido y encantador y personal amable. El personal nos llevó a una mesa e inmediatamente nos hizo saber que era en efectivo o transferencia bancaria solamente (leímos que este era el caso), pero no hay problema! Las mesas son absolutamente increíbles, con un estilo de barbacoa muy limpio en el medio para cocinar la comida . . los menús son increíbles que un montón de diferentes opciones para todos. El personal muy atento, nos preguntó qué bebidas nos gustaría y una vez que estábamos listos para pedir vino a tomar el pedido. Pedimos una sopa, un plato de mariscos, carne y sushi - esto era para 3 de nosotros (uno de 8 años) esto era más que suficiente. Fue una noche encantadora y una comida hermosa con comida perfecta... muy divertido para la familia interactuar con la cocina y también probar cosas nuevas! En general, no estaba tan ocupado, pero esto fue un lunes por la noche después del trabajo .. pero nuestra experiencia aquí fueron 5 * en nuestra opinión. me and my boyfriend went here because im from nottingham and i wanted to show him around and im also half korean so it was the perfect place to go !! we had trouble paying and my boyfriend had to go to an atm and i stayed behind to watch out stuff and the lady who was working there called me beautiful ! so sweet 10/10

He revisado las críticas antes de venir y vi que mucha gente se quejó del mal servicio, pero lo ignoré🥴 En cuanto a la comida, estaba bien (y tal vez no pedí las cosas correctas, así que eso es cosa mía) pero el servicio realmente era cuestionable. Nos sentamos de inmediato, pero esperamos tanto tiempo antes de que alguien realmente se acercara a nosotros y consideramos simplemente ir a ellos para ordenar, ya que se estaba poniendo un poco ridículo. Cuando finalmente tuvimos la oportunidad de pedir, pedimos Malibú con jugo de naranja que estaba literalmente en el menú, pero la señora nos preguntó qué es Malibú y actuó como si eso no estuviera en el menú, hasta que lo miró y dijo que no está segura y comprobará si lo tienen. La experiencia fue interesante por lo tanto por qué le di 2 estrellas. Definitivamente volvería a hacer esto de nuevo, pero en otro lugar. Habiendo leído las críticas, esperaba una buena comida con un servicio cuestionable. Bueno, el servicio era definitivamente cuestionable, tenía que pedir bebidas, y ser servido cuando la gente que llegó más tarde ya lo había sido. Ni siquiera se molestó en pedir la cuenta, sólo subió y pagó. Estoy acostumbrado a que algunos restaurantes (especialmente asiáticos) traigan comidas a modo de cerditos, pero cuando llegó mi comida, mi compañero había terminado la suya, ver foto. Él disfrutó de su comida más que yo y nos negamos a pagar el cargo de servicio incorporado, algo que nunca he hecho antes.

Having read the reviews, I was expecting a good meal with questionable service. Well, the service was definitely questionable, had to ask for drinks, and to be served when folks who arrived later already had been. Didn't even bother asking for the bill, just went up and paid. I'm used to some (especially asian) restaurants bringing meals in a higgledy piggledy fashion, but by the time my meal arrived, my partner had finished his, see photo. He enjoyed his meal more than I did mine and we declined to pay the built in service charge, something I have never done before.

My go-to place to eat in Nottingham, staff are very nice and service is great. The menu could be better by having dishes be changed to seafood or vegetarian on request. However, there are still a few options to have a good meal! Definitely worth a visit!

2024.03: The tofu skin looks like cheese rice cakes. The food is average and the environment is acceptable. I just asked for water twice and it was not delivered.

An absolute mistake to come in, starters after mains, staff very friendly but not a clue, dirty, overcooked rice… this place needs a radical change.

Korean barbecue: first impression chicken and beef great but on closer inspection... the pork inedible (no meat other than pork) Service: the first thing we tell you before saying hello: cash or transfer Then you look at the cleanliness… ouch ouch ouch The light fixtures a few centimeters from the barbecue are filled with dust and you go to the toilet, it leaves you imagining the kitchen. Very big disappointment

They forgot to bring our food and instead they bring it to another table. After waiting for 30 minutes we had to ask 3 times to get it.Then they forgot again to bring the rest of the order.on the end they charged us optional tip for that. Food was great but I would recommend take away and never come back here in person

There are a menu for Korean food and another one for Sushi. The food is nice with various from soup, side dishes to rice and noodle. They also provide BBQ. The spicy beef stew I ordered can modify the spicy level, and some green bean sprouts, egg, bean noodle, and sliced beef in the pot, and serviced with a rice. It is a nice comfort food when you feel cold.

Their food is soooo good haven’t had anything like it and the service was really good, the staff is so kind and nice!

A great find .. as the local Asian community eats here too if you want authentic Korean food eat here... 100 out of 10 ... fantastic food and atmosphere.. our waitress was brilliant and gave great advice on menu choice.. if I was to be picky, the restaurant was a little on the cool side. Saying that it would not deter me from returning. Thank you for an excellent meal ..

The service is good and friendly and there is a good selection on the menu however the restaurant is extremely cold and the server said their manager didn’t know how to turn on the heating. There are delivery drivers constantly going in and out of the restaurant so it is very cold. I would recommend a Korean restaurant in beeston over the ones in town. Also the straws for soft drinks are way too big.

We loved our experience here, the food was amazing and the prices were really good for what we got. The atmosphere is also making it an enjoyable experience and a place worth going to!

I ordered delivery so can’t comment on the atmosphere. The food was mixed, the bibimbap was cold and not dolsot but a good portion size. Wish there was more gochujang! The kimchi pancake was good but the chicken gyoza were a bit bland. I love Korean food but I don’t think I’d order delivery from here again.

Just a warning that the fried chicken is chicken wings. Taste good though. Bento boxes are really good value.

as soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a beautiful relaxing atmosphere and really kind service :) i ordered tteokbokki and it was soo nice, at first the serving size looked quite small (probably since it was an appetiser) but it actually was perfect, it tasted so good and was very filling. we also ordered a kimchi jeon to share and it was nice when dipped in the tteokbokki sauce !!!! my brother had some sort of broth with rice and he enjoyed it, and he got some fried chicken and it looked soo good. i also got a can of bonbon grape juice and what i really loved was how they gave a glass of ice with a paper straw to pour it into :D the only bad thing was the fish-shaped red bean bread which i think was a store-bought microwaved one, i was expecting a fresh one so was disappointed to see it.. also the kimchi jeon was really thin compared to what i was expecting and didn't really taste of kimchi but it still tasted really good overall, the food and atmosphere quality was soo nice and i will defo be coming back with friends!!! it's a good price too, it was only £58 for 3 of us

I can’t begin to explain how amazing the food was! i ordered beef bibimbap and even the presentation was exaclty like the picture on the menu. It was spectacular and i had to take a portion home because there was so much of it. i just had seconds now and tastes even better. would 1000% go back again. my friend loved her food too. we both lived in asia and have been missing the spice and tang of authentic food. this HIT the spot

The owners need to hire more serving staff. Super slow service. Had to ask for water 3 times before we were served any. They forgot our order so we waited more than 30 min for a tteokbokki and kimchi pancake. To be fair, they've apologized numerous times and gave us free drinks as an apology. The food itself was not bad either. They just really need to hire more staff

I was a little daunted by the menu, but the pictures really helped me decide what to select. Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimbab- Beef. I was not disappointed. It tasted amazing and was a very generous portion. I will go back x.

Really enjoyed it here! Deserves a higher rating as food was delicious - I had the tokboki, Korean fried chicken and bibimbap. Great service, comfortable restaurant, I’m just sad I couldn’t finish my food as was very full! Great value for money as big portions for a great price :) Will defo visit again, and it’s halal!

Had halal beef Bibimbap and it was so delicious that took me back to my days in Seoul 🇰🇷❤️ the sides were so yummy as well and the prices are reasonable It was confirmed by staff that they use halal meat and use separate kitchen tools than the ones they use to cook pork so it’s suitable for kosher and halal food seekers 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Went here two days in a row and both times were fab. The raw beef bibimbap and chicken teriyaki with rice is highly recommended. They both came very well presented and tasted wonderful. The fried chicken wings were amazing as well, both the sweet&spicy and soy&garlux ones. The next day we had the kbbq and the staff were so attentive about the nut allergy we had at the table, and were so kind about letting us know what is a potential risk. Wonderfully priced, wonderfully seasoned, and an overall lovely time. The Sake is also served in a traditional way which was enjoyable by me and my family. Overall a fantastic experience and will be coming back :)
