It's an experience. Automatically added 10% service charge to the bill. They took an order and brought drinks, rice, and raw meat to the table. Food was cooked to perfection (by us). Service charge wasn't paid.

Bag packaging is so bad. When return to home, the soup is spill out....

Muy buena comida en buen restaurante con buen servicio. Algunos de los mejores bulgogi de siempre, carne tierna muy fresca con salsa sabrosa. Buena sopa, grandes fideos. El servicio era bueno, eficiente y todo servía con una sonrisa.

Just had a delivery from Deliveroo which contains the sweet and spicy fried chicken which was amazing, even though it traveled 15 minutes to my home it was still crunchy and and moist with bags of flavour. I also ha jajangmyeon which was not very good at all, in fact I would say it was bad. It lacked the thick black grave that you normally get and also had no flavour and was very dry. If I had received this in restaurant I would have asked for a refund.

Wanted to stop for a sit down meal but only had time to get a takeaway Bebimbap. Wow, best takeaway food I've ever had. Almost on par with Dolsot Bebimbaps I used to have in Incheon.

It was quiet when we went, so I cannot comment on the atmosphere. The staff were fantastic, as was the food. One dish was ever so slightly salty. The other two were beyond expectation (my partner is Chinese, so all we cook at home is Asian food and we have certain expectations). We will definitely revisit.

It is so strange that they only do bank transfer and accepting cash. Food were not particularly good, as they were left overnight and not fresh. I have also got some rude comments from a Chinese waitress for not knowing how to speak mandarin.

Going there for the second time. The food taste good. However the service is bad and confusing because the waitress was really RUDE and she had difficulty to understand English as well. I would say the service charge is absolute useless because the service was horrible.

Food good though we cooked it ourselves! Absolutely boiling in the restaurant, no air conditioning or fans. They "forgot" items on our order and had to be reminded.

A la llegada, nos recibieron en un ambiente cálido y encantador y personal amable. El personal nos llevó a una mesa e inmediatamente nos hizo saber que era en efectivo o transferencia bancaria solamente (leímos que este era el caso), pero no hay problema! Las mesas son absolutamente increíbles, con un estilo de barbacoa muy limpio en el medio para cocinar la comida . . los menús son increíbles que un montón de diferentes opciones para todos. El personal muy atento, nos preguntó qué bebidas nos gustaría y una vez que estábamos listos para pedir vino a tomar el pedido. Pedimos una sopa, un plato de mariscos, carne y sushi - esto era para 3 de nosotros (uno de 8 años) esto era más que suficiente. Fue una noche encantadora y una comida hermosa con comida perfecta... muy divertido para la familia interactuar con la cocina y también probar cosas nuevas! En general, no estaba tan ocupado, pero esto fue un lunes por la noche después del trabajo .. pero nuestra experiencia aquí fueron 5 * en nuestra opinión. POR FAVOR, no juzgue este lugar por las críticas como casi lo hice. Dale una oportunidad a este lugar... no te arrepentirás. Sin duda volveremos en el futuro. Gracias.

Been here tonight for the first time ever, after reading some reviews on the way I were in two minds and were desperately trying to see if there was anywhere else to go and persuade my partner.. we travelled around 30 minutes to get here. On arrival, we were greeted into a warm lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The staff took us to a table and immediately made us aware it was cash or bank transfer only (we read this was the case) but no problem! The tables are absolutely amazing with very clean bbq style in the middle to cook the food on.. the menus are amazing which lots of different choices to suit all. Very attentive staff, asked us which drinks we would like and once we were ready to order came over to take the order. We ordered a soup, a platter of seafood, meat and sushi - this were for 3 of us (one 8 year old) this was more than plenty. It was a lovely night and a beautiful meal with perfect food… very fun for the family to interact with cooking food and also trying new things! Overall, it was not so busy but this was a Monday night after work.. but our experience here were 5* in our opinion. PLEASE do not judge this place by the reviews like I almost did. Give this place a go.. you will not regret it. We will definitely be back in the future. Thank you

me and my boyfriend went here because im from nottingham and i wanted to show him around and im also half korean so it was the perfect place to go !! we had trouble paying and my boyfriend had to go to an atm and i stayed behind to watch out stuff and the lady who was working there called me beautiful ! so sweet 10/10

He revisado las críticas antes de venir y vi que mucha gente se quejó del mal servicio, pero lo ignoré🥴 En cuanto a la comida, estaba bien (y tal vez no pedí las cosas correctas, así que eso es cosa mía) pero el servicio realmente era cuestionable. Nos sentamos de inmediato, pero esperamos tanto tiempo antes de que alguien realmente se acercara a nosotros y consideramos simplemente ir a ellos para ordenar, ya que se estaba poniendo un poco ridículo. Cuando finalmente tuvimos la oportunidad de pedir, pedimos Malibú con jugo de naranja que estaba literalmente en el menú, pero la señora nos preguntó qué es Malibú y actuó como si eso no estuviera en el menú, hasta que lo miró y dijo que no está segura y comprobará si lo tienen. La experiencia fue interesante por lo tanto por qué le di 2 estrellas. Definitivamente volvería a hacer esto de nuevo, pero en otro lugar. La comida se veía muy bien y la cerveza de res era probablemente lo mejor de todo lo que tenemos. *si no te gusta tu pollo en un hueso - no pidas el pollo frito coreano (pensamos que sería deshuesado). *FYI* La otra cosa aparte del servicio realmente lento, era la forma extraña de pagar su factura. Nos dijeron que solo es efectivo y transferencia bancaria y como no llevamos efectivo, nos vimos obligados a hacer una transferencia bancaria (que nunca he tenido que hacer, especialmente para pagar mi factura en un restaurante). El proceso fue extremadamente molesto y largo, especialmente de pie en el medio del restaurante para resolverlo. Mis amigos el banco y el mío, empezamos a avisarnos antes de enviar el dinero, diciendo que los detalles no coinciden y que la cuenta no existe pero la señora dijo que estaba bien y me pidió que lo enviara de todos modos. Después del proceso, he tenido que tomar una foto de mi teléfono para mostrar que he enviado el dinero. . realmente raro, nunca había tenido esto antes en un restaurante y aunque conozco las razones por las que el restaurante no tiene un lector de tarjetas, simplemente hizo que la experiencia fuera incómoda. Así que sí, no muy bien. No volvería ya que hay muchos mejores lugares para comer en donde el servicio y la comida es mejor. Tal vez necesiten capacitar más a su personal e introducir otra forma de pago para que sea más fácil y rápido para sus clientes, NADIE quiere estar parado durante 10 + minutos tratando de pagar su factura en medio del restaurante🥴

Having read the reviews, I was expecting a good meal with questionable service. Well, the service was definitely questionable, had to ask for drinks, and to be served when folks who arrived later already had been. Didn't even bother asking for the bill, just went up and paid. I'm used to some (especially asian) restaurants bringing meals in a higgledy piggledy fashion, but by the time my meal arrived, my partner had finished his, see photo. He enjoyed his meal more than I did mine and we declined to pay the built in service charge, something I have never done before.

Bueno, el servicio era definitivamente cuestionable, tenía que pedir bebidas, y ser servido cuando la gente que llegó más tarde ya lo había sido. Ni siquiera se molestó en pedir la cuenta, sólo subió y pagó. Estoy acostumbrado a que algunos restaurantes (especialmente asiáticos) traigan comidas a modo de cerditos, pero cuando llegó mi comida, mi compañero había terminado la suya, ver foto. Él disfrutó de su comida más que yo y nos negamos a pagar el cargo de servicio incorporado, algo que nunca he hecho antes.

Food took about 70 minutes to arrive, hence it was nearly cold. Quality was indifferent. I would not buy again from here.

The starters were amazing; so tasty 😋 wow. I had teriyaki chicken for the main, and that was just okay. Nothing special, I would say. Overall though it was great and we had a good night out

My go-to place to eat in Nottingham, staff are very nice and service is great. The menu could be better by having dishes be changed to seafood or vegetarian on request. However, there are still a few options to have a good meal! Definitely worth a visit!

2024.03: The tofu skin looks like cheese rice cakes. The food is average and the environment is acceptable. I just asked for water twice and it was not delivered.

Food most outstanding part of experience obviously. Service not very special although not busy.

An absolute mistake to come in, starters after mains, staff very friendly but not a clue, dirty, overcooked rice… this place needs a radical change.

To be honest, the food is a bit unpalatable and the service attitude is bad. There will be no next time.

Korean barbecue: first impression chicken and beef great but on closer inspection... the pork inedible (no meat other than pork) Service: the first thing we tell you before saying hello: cash or transfer Then you look at the cleanliness… ouch ouch ouch The light fixtures a few centimeters from the barbecue are filled with dust and you go to the toilet, it leaves you imagining the kitchen. Very big disappointment

They forgot to bring our food and instead they bring it to another table. After waiting for 30 minutes we had to ask 3 times to get it.Then they forgot again to bring the rest of the order.on the end they charged us optional tip for that. Food was great but I would recommend take away and never come back here in person

There are a menu for Korean food and another one for Sushi. The food is nice with various from soup, side dishes to rice and noodle. They also provide BBQ. The spicy beef stew I ordered can modify the spicy level, and some green bean sprouts, egg, bean noodle, and sliced beef in the pot, and serviced with a rice. It is a nice comfort food when you feel cold.

Their food is soooo good haven’t had anything like it and the service was really good, the staff is so kind and nice!

My go-to Korean food spot, left me a bit disappointed this time. The flavors in the dishes were there, and the Doenjang-jjigae, albeit a bit salty, was still decent— however, I couldn't help but notice smaller seafood portions for the stew. What really got to me was the service– we patiently waited almost an hour, tried calling multiple times, and it seemed like others who came in later got served first. It was slower than usual, and some of the staff came off as a bit rude. On top of that, the restroom was not well-kept, it was quite wet and dirty. Hoping for a better experience next time.

Overall a great meal and the servers were really good. The downside was the bathroom was a little dirty (however the rest of the restaurant was fine). I would go back as I loved the Korean spicy chicken 🐔

A great find .. as the local Asian community eats here too if you want authentic Korean food eat here... 100 out of 10 ... fantastic food and atmosphere.. our waitress was brilliant and gave great advice on menu choice.. if I was to be picky, the restaurant was a little on the cool side. Saying that it would not deter me from returning. Thank you for an excellent meal ..

The service is good and friendly and there is a good selection on the menu however the restaurant is extremely cold and the server said their manager didn’t know how to turn on the heating. There are delivery drivers constantly going in and out of the restaurant so it is very cold. I would recommend a Korean restaurant in beeston over the ones in town. Also the straws for soft drinks are way too big.

We loved our experience here, the food was amazing and the prices were really good for what we got. The atmosphere is also making it an enjoyable experience and a place worth going to!

I ordered delivery so can’t comment on the atmosphere. The food was mixed, the bibimbap was cold and not dolsot but a good portion size. Wish there was more gochujang! The kimchi pancake was good but the chicken gyoza were a bit bland. I love Korean food but I don’t think I’d order delivery from here again.

Just a warning that the fried chicken is chicken wings. Taste good though. Bento boxes are really good value.

as soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a beautiful relaxing atmosphere and really kind service :) i ordered tteokbokki and it was soo nice, at first the serving size looked quite small (probably since it was an appetiser) but it actually was perfect, it tasted so good and was very filling. we also ordered a kimchi jeon to share and it was nice when dipped in the tteokbokki sauce !!!! my brother had some sort of broth with rice and he enjoyed it, and he got some fried chicken and it looked soo good. i also got a can of bonbon grape juice and what i really loved was how they gave a glass of ice with a paper straw to pour it into :D the only bad thing was the fish-shaped red bean bread which i think was a store-bought microwaved one, i was expecting a fresh one so was disappointed to see it.. also the kimchi jeon was really thin compared to what i was expecting and didn't really taste of kimchi but it still tasted really good overall, the food and atmosphere quality was soo nice and i will defo be coming back with friends!!! it's a good price too, it was only £58 for 3 of us

I can’t begin to explain how amazing the food was! i ordered beef bibimbap and even the presentation was exaclty like the picture on the menu. It was spectacular and i had to take a portion home because there was so much of it. i just had seconds now and tastes even better. would 1000% go back again. my friend loved her food too. we both lived in asia and have been missing the spice and tang of authentic food. this HIT the spot

The owners need to hire more serving staff. Super slow service. Had to ask for water 3 times before we were served any. They forgot our order so we waited more than 30 min for a tteokbokki and kimchi pancake. To be fair, they've apologized numerous times and gave us free drinks as an apology. The food itself was not bad either. They just really need to hire more staff

Service can be improved. BBQ is good but everything else is subpar.

Not the best sushi! Not very fresh!

I was a little daunted by the menu, but the pictures really helped me decide what to select. Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimbab- Beef. I was not disappointed. It tasted amazing and was a very generous portion. I will go back x.

Really enjoyed it here! Deserves a higher rating as food was delicious - I had the tokboki, Korean fried chicken and bibimbap. Great service, comfortable restaurant, I’m just sad I couldn’t finish my food as was very full! Great value for money as big portions for a great price :) Will defo visit again, and it’s halal!

Had halal beef Bibimbap and it was so delicious that took me back to my days in Seoul 🇰🇷❤️ the sides were so yummy as well and the prices are reasonable It was confirmed by staff that they use halal meat and use separate kitchen tools than the ones they use to cook pork so it’s suitable for kosher and halal food seekers 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Went here two days in a row and both times were fab. The raw beef bibimbap and chicken teriyaki with rice is highly recommended. They both came very well presented and tasted wonderful. The fried chicken wings were amazing as well, both the sweet&spicy and soy&garlux ones. The next day we had the kbbq and the staff were so attentive about the nut allergy we had at the table, and were so kind about letting us know what is a potential risk. Wonderfully priced, wonderfully seasoned, and an overall lovely time. The Sake is also served in a traditional way which was enjoyable by me and my family. Overall a fantastic experience and will be coming back :)

Food was amazing, the barbecue was cooked ourselves at the table, very family friendly. Staff are super helpful and ready to help and assist if unsure about how to pair the food for perfect taste. The whole experience was very nice 😍

Mega, loved it. Did the BBQ with 3:friends, had 3meats, 2 rice, kimchi and bean sprouts and some gyozo which were enough but perhaps could have added one more thing in. Loads of asian diners in having interesting bowls of food. Came out at less than £20 each Inc a beer. Don't be shy, try it.

The food was really nice and well seasoned. For the price the portion sizes were so good. The service was really good. I would recommend the non soup dishes since they had a bit more flavour but that is just my personal preference.

Came in with a great mood, expected to have great food, but ended up having horrible service and horrible food, as I didn’t like the food I’ve asked if I can change to something else because I just tried, and tegy said there is no bones , and they said they can’t changed, the sushi that I’ve ordered was falling apart all sticky couldn’t even grab them because they were like a bon of bread , food had no taste at all , came out all hungry and disappointed and charged me for a service charge , all they care about is money , especially the team manager she’s has an awful personality, don’t recommend this place

Good choice of food to try here and the staff were helpful and friendly even though we arrived pretty late. Great kimchi, and gyoza and plenty of main options to choose from. As we were there quite late there was no BBQ, so I'll be going back to give that a try. Note that payment is cash or bank transfer only - no card

Fun experience going to Miss Korea, however kind of underwhelming in terms of food. For a place where you cook your own food the portions are very expensive for the little that you get. The cooker that we had seemed to be very hit or miss, was able to cook easily enough but could have been easier from the looks of it. Also bank transfer and cash only when we went fyi. Nice selection of beer but the food was very mid.

Fantastic Korean cuisine and great atmosphere!

Was told everything except the teriyaki contained nuts. Everything, the meat for the bbq, the soup, everything… except the teriyaki. Not an uncommon allergy to cater for, and I’m used to avoiding food which may contain nuts. If I wasn’t in a large party I’d have just gone elsewhere Staff were also very rude. When they brought out the wrong dish and nobody claimed it they said “you ordered it” like we were being told off. It was very awkward. When the bill came the unavailable items we ordered and were told would be taken off were still on it along with a 10% tip.

Where do I start? Four people. Took almost 15 mins before we had to ask for some drinks. Then about the same time for our food order. One starter came out. Then a main course that went back. Then another starter. Then a starter we hadn’t ordered. Told them but it just sat on the table. Then the correct starter came five minutes later. An hour later I still hadn’t had my starter. Decided to pay up and go elsewhere. Then they tried to charge us for the starter than we hadn’t ordered and mine which never ever arrived. It was all our fault apparently. Staff literally shouted at my wife saying we were in the wrong. Atrocious customer service. Don’t think I’ve ever had a worse dining experience. I’d give no stars if I could. Horrendous.

Whilst the squid starter was tasty the Bibimbap was the highlight of my visit. Extremely tasty, fresh quality ingredients and best of all the portion was giant and less than 8£.

I ordered glass noodles, a chicken dish and a beef platter. The noodles had too many green peppers in, this overpowered the flavour, it tasted like dish water, had to throw it away! The chicken dish was lovely and authentic. The beef in the beef platter was lovely, but the rice didn't taste right, again like dish water. Very, very disappointed, won't be ordering from there again. Waste of money.

Being chased after for 10p short on the additional fee! Dear Miss Korea Restaurant Management, I want to share my honest and constructive feedback regarding my recent dining experience at your restaurant. The food was decent, but unfortunately, the service was very slow. I arrived at 6 pm, and despite a quiet atmosphere, we had to wait for almost 25 minutes to receive our raw meat and dokkbuki. To make things worse, I had ordered lettuce, which they forgot to bring until I asked three times. Finally, a plate of lettuce damp in water arrived after several attempts. Although the staff was friendly, I noticed that they were understaffed, and I did not see any indication of proper management, training, or processes in place. Our bill came to £41 with an optional 10% service charge of £4.10, bringing our total to £45.10. We paid a cash amount of £45 as we did not have any coins. However, when we exited the restaurant, one of the staff members chased us down to ask for the missing 10p. This situation was a bit uncomfortable and ridiculous, given that the service was so low, and we already paid the OPTIONAL service charge. The fact that a staff member chased us after we had already paid was putting off, and it felt as if the restaurant is more focused on making money rather than providing good service. I believe that Miss Korea should have better-trained staff, clear processes and take customer feedback into account to avoid such situations in the future.

Service was great and the food portions were good 👍🏾. On a high note, the shredded kimchi with spinach and beansprouts was amazing. The mains menu was unremarkable as was the BBQ even though it looked great on paper. It wasn't a BBQ so much as a hotplate where you boiled your food. There is no flame or fire touching food where you get the authentic taste. Fried chicken was also a let down!

Beautiful food,great experience would recommend to friends. Well worth a visit will be back again.

Affordable Korean restaurant with Japanese sushi

The restaurant is quiet and appears clean. The food is not real Korean food as I can tell from my own heritage. The food I ordered was not good quality, for example, the dumpling for starters is salty and hard: seems like supermarket bought and then fried. The seafood traditional Tofu soup with seafood has a 4 or 5 little shrimps and several squids chunks- poor value and quality. I will not go there again.

I wish I could give more stars as 5 stars is not enough! We had the set menu and it was delightful. Service was a Amazing and staff were happy to help us when we had no idea what to do as first time visitors. The only downside is we are not from Nottingham so it's going to be a bit far for our next visit!

I had to back out when they told us to only pay by cash or bank transfer, The chicken was not fresh and the fish soup was smelly bad I believe it was the shellfish which was not right, the food arrived in less than 5 minutes, only the rice was very good.. I'm sorry it was not a good experience, I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone

A lovely experience with me and friends while we were visiting for a costume convention. We arrived in full costume with a craving for BBQ - we weren't treated weirdly, we were immediately seated and looked after. We ordered quite a lot of food including the Bulgogi set for four and some sides, the staff were very friendly and made sure everything fit on the table for us. The meat itself and the bibimbap it came with were the highlights - we wished we'd ordered more! Thanks for making our trip to Nottingham memorable, we'll be back next year!
