Had a takeaway what an absolute discrace food was awful cold, chicken fried rice and chicken chow mein had no chicken in it awful taste cost about £20 more than our local takeaway for the same meal stay away

We arrived 6.30pm and it was very busy. The banquet feast was £29.95 each for 4 courses. The mains you can keep ordering as much as you like. The food was brilliant, the service excellent. We will go back without a doubt.

It was our first time to the restaurant. Everything was fantastic, service, food, ambience. Will definitely visit again. Thank you.

Delicious HK / Cantonese cuisines 😋

It is a relatively large Chinese restaurant with reasonable prices and delicious food. Reservations are required for roast pork and roast duck. Be sure to make reservations in advance on Saturdays and Sundays.

Our server forgot about us twice and the chicken wasn’t chicken in the curry it’s reformed rubbery crap,over priced and won’t be going again !!!!

A disappointing experience of our once favorite restaurant. whilst the restaurant was busy and full, there was insufficient staff to provide any good service, which was exceptionally slow. We waited a good 15 minutes for some one to arrive to take a drinks order, when others had arrived after us and were already being served drinks, and 1 hour 45 minutes to be served the main meal. Food quality has gone down hill and very disappointing, such as chicken and duck being dried out and not pleasant to eat, considering that prices have risen again to now at £29 per person, the quality of food being served does not reflect this price. It will take a lot to persuade me to go back.

amazing service, good food expect to pay around 25-35pounds per head

I tried this restaurant for dinner today. It was very delicious. There are no shopping malls or shops around. There is only a gas station. There is actually a sweet Chinese Cantonese restaurant. The boss and the clerk explained the food carefully. We ordered roast duck and shredded peppers. Stir-fried fermented bean curd and beef, Thousand Island shrimp, sweet and sour pork with pineapple, roasted pork belly, crispy noodles with shredded pork, etc. Worth ordering again is definitely the roast duck and pork belly 👍

Looking for authentic Cantonese food (HK style) near Nottingham? Look no further! Excellent roasted duck, Cantonese style BBQ pork, roasted pork belly with skin are must try. I love their noodles too.

Great style Chinese restaurant, muich nicer food and experience than an approach style buffet, but you can continually order and have food brough to you, set up is great for larger parties too with lazy susan and sharing possibilities. Food quality and value both good, drinks on the more expensive side

We’ve ordered from this restaurant a few times before and it’s always been fine. This time, we’ve ordered and it’s awful. Not what you’d expect for spending near £50. No taste to anything, very small portion sizes and no free prawn crackers. Very disappointing

The food quality is very Hong Kong, the service attitude is very good, and the whole family is very satisfied.

A good Chinese restaurant, especially the roast duck is very delicious. Siu Mei is also a good choice...

Ordered some food at 17:45 on a Saturday night. After waiting 90minutes, I ordered from somewhere else. 30minutes later, our food turned up - no apologies. Since they started take-aways during Covid, the standards have really dropped. Sacrificing quantity over quality.

Food was poor. Lacking meat and pretty tasteless. More onion than anything else. Plus you had to shred your own duck for pancakes and let everything else go cold in the meantime… very odd!

Chicken curry delivered instead of prawn curry, lemon chicken was just so dry. No complementary prawn crackers. Really disappointed.

Didn't have any plans for dinner but had takeaway from here before. Took the chance to drop in just after opening. Service was prompt, our server was a lovely lady who was very helpful with the ordering process for food and drinks. Drinks arrived swiftly. Had the feast for 2, the starters were lovely and the duck arrived not long after the starters were finished. More people arrived but didn't stop the quality service. The server came back to take orders for the mains and rice/noodle options. Arrived at the table not long after ordering. All throughout we were asked if food was up to our liking, which it was. Had become very busy near the time of us leaving but staff were on their "A game" even with some awkward customers. Would go again and recommend to other people. I wish we got the server's name as she was a fantastic.

amazing as usual, if you could add dim sum to your menu it would be perfect

ordered through just eat - no problems so far thecrestaurant doesn't use the system to keep the info up to date - they don't push the buttons. they copy the order from the system by hand and make mistakes. instead of 4 egg fried rice we only got one - as the order was copied down wrong. so by the time we got our rice - the main dishes were cold. And we all ordered different dishes - my daughters food was over 50% onion, 2 of the other dishes were all onions. Really not a happy customer

I am a member of a Kung fu school and lion dance team . We eat in the best Chinese food establishments in Nottingham Derbyshire and Leicestershire. We once travelled to Norfolk and ate . We are asked where we would like to go for our post new year celebration. Of all the places with all the choice we visit hon . I hope this isn’t racest but eating in a Chinese restaurant on a Friday with nine large tables of Chinese people should tell you something. The only thing stopping me from eating there every week is distance beautiful food beautiful place and the staff are out of this world

Neither of the main dishes we ordered had any flavour to the point of being bland. The teryaki had absolutely no sauce.

We've had takeaways here for quite some time & really enjoy the food here - from the starters to the main courses, the taste is great. Our usuals are the sweet & sour chicken balls & the roast duck in plum sauce. The mixed starters are also really good. We've tried other takeaways but they never seem to be as good as the Charde. When we order, we have enough for another meal with a microwave rice which is what we've done tonight for a quick meal.

Although slightly late, the food was delivered hot and incredibly tasty! Honestly, you always go above and beyond to cater for my extra spicy requests, and keep me informed if there is an issue (which is very rare!). Ordered the Beef in chilli and garlic and it was beautiful, the Beef was incredibly tender and the overall flavour was amazing. Thank you to the chef and delivery guy who is always so polite!

The atmosphere during the Lunar New Year is super good and lively, with a lion dance performance.

Preordered at 8:30 am as had a very busy day ahead …. Order was accepted at 4:30 then I got a call asking if they could deliver early as they were busy … I explained that I wouldn’t be home untill 6 so they explained that it may be a little late which I was ok with …. They still arrived early the kids took the food in and I wasn’t home for another 30 mins as I had told them on the phone !!! The food was stone cold the salt and pepper chicken was awful and not even edible the salt and pepper chip

The food itself was honestly great, i assumed the Thai curry (green) would have coconut in it and it didn't. was really nice though, just not what I wanted.

The order was over an hour late after we reported it. The crispy duck wasn’t crispy, and the order was wrong. We got 2 chicken dishes and no beef dish.

Love this place, great Chinese food

Unfortunately on this occasion the quality of food was not great. Rice was very sticky and glue like. Prawn balls were soggy. Curry had no flavour. This is the first time I've had a complaint with this restaurant as the food is normally very good so was a huge disappointment this time

I recently dined at this Chinese restaurant, and I must say, the roast duck and crispy pork were nothing short of perfect. Waited over an hour for delivery then were missing two portions of rice, they then came to deliver the rice and only brought one portion which resulted in me having nothing to eat. First time ordering too.

Food was up to the usual quality, however it was delivered 40 minutes early. When explaining this to the delivery guy he said ‘well we’re busy tonight and have a lot of orders.’ While I appreciate they will be busy on NYE this is no excuse to deliver 40 minutes early as guests may not have arrived. Also, additional prawn crackers ordered were missing. May consider purchasing elsewhere moving forward.

Called in for a takeaway after receiving an offer of free main course if you spent £25 or more , got home and discovered no free meal and the food we did order was below par. Won't be returning

Food very disappointing. Bland, no taste, no flavour. Sesame toast dried up and tasteless, Spring Roll gooey bur most disappointing of all was the Spicy Rice Vermicelli which had no spice to it whatsoever.

Ordered just under £60.00’s worth of food and they missed off the Crispy Shredded beef. The duck was supposed to be in plum sauce but it didn’t taste like that at all. The chicken chow mien was cold :( Disappointed really to say it took over an hour to arrive.

Excellent menu choices for every palate that loves oriental food - even if your requirements are NOT on their menu the kitchen staff will 'go the extra mike' and cook it for you/excellent service/extremely friendly staff who also 'go the extra mile' to ensure customers are having a good experience! The atmosphere is created by the kindness from 'owner to staff' to ensure customers are not only happy with their food but also enjoy the tranquil atmosphere that the staff have created through their attention to detail. ❤️ this restaurant!

The chips were dry as sticks and the rice was extremely stodgey and the shredded chicken in shezuan sauce was so chewy and couldn't taste any chicken in the batter, which was a shame as you came highly recommended. Unfortunately I won't be using you again and I order every Sunday, safe to say I'll use my usual Chinese restaurant in future

Was left waiting around for hours, food was never delivered. No one answered the phone when I was calling the restaurant. Now got to go figure out how to get my money back. Could not have been worse.

Not a great experience for us my partner found metal in his mouth from eating the duck which can be fatal if swolled the restaurant have been contacted with very little responses....

The food here is amazing. Can’t recommend enough.

Ordered and had confirmation at 18:45 received a text to say it was going to be late and was estimated between 19:40-20:00, which I was ok. However come 20:10 the order had still not arrived. Multiple times trying to contact the restaurant and no answer. Finally received a text back to say the order was on its way and finally reached us at around 20:25. Looking forward to our order to then realise they missed an item from our order!

Second time ive ordered same thing had to season it a bit with s&p ..i would say its too bland for me nice quality but not alot of flavour .plain flavours .tbh

Meal was going ok until my partner found a piece of wire in the duck that he was chewing on it also cut his gum we tested it on a magnet and still have the proof and didn't eat any more of the meal as fear of finding more very disappointed and could of coursed alot more damage if swallowed..
