Wow- the South Indian food is incredible!!! We LOVE the fish curry and the fried fish - and the clams and prawns were amazing. Wonderful masala dosa and paratha. We can’t wait to order again! The family running this place are so wonderful. We highly recommend!

No wonder this shop is empty all the time. I get home after ordering food. The curry sauce was water literally. The fish half warm, half cold. How is that even possible? I know it's a chippy. But the greasy on the food was vile. I for one will never be returning.

Order food on Uber. You wait 25 - 30 mins then they just cancel the order.

Super exceptional service. I got lucky and got their breakfast and lunch menu items delivered piping hot. Who knew such a gem would be hidden in the name of Pauls fish and chips.. must try 😋

Since the 2 new people at front service has been rubbish, they need to get some better staff to run the place.

It was extraordinary. We had fish thali with king fish and it was truly amazing. It was a 10/10 experience. Will definitely come again . Anyone looking for authentic fish thali or Bombay style street food this is the place .

The food at this restaurant is out of this world. The pav bhaji is exactly the same as you get in mumbai. Don’t hesitate to walk into the restaurant. By far the best.

Today tried fish and chips, the fish was cooked in oil which was used several times over, could not have it, had to throw away the whole 2 packs worth £ 13. Quality of food is worth a ZERO rating.

Absolutely discusting sausage was over cooked from frozen. Doner kebab was dry and un eat able wouldn't feed it to a dog. Salad was good what a waste of money. Plus they are selling multi packed diet coke as singles. What a rip off.

Taste of the food is greasy & not cooked properly. Chips were stale like they were re fried. Food didn’t seem fresh. Portion side is very small compared to other take out.

Lovely food. Fresh and spot on with flavour. The reason I have given one star is due to the portion size. A large chips smaller than a small and the doner trays 3/4 full. The doner tray also contained a lot of peppers, not really a replacement for meat. Please, extra large fish should be extra large. This review is not to discourage people from eating here, as I said food is good quality. Please make the portions proportionate to the price charged.

Best part of Paul fish and chips is that they serve everything fresh, I like all the products especially gazibo

Had fish and chips from them many times now. Always decent portion and they put whatever sauces you ask for without extra charge. Also like sausages, both battered and plain. Once again you can have all type of sauces on them as well. On street parking usually available next to it across the shop. Good customer service, very helpful. If quality of fish was slightly better would definitely have given 5 stars.

The food is ok, the portions are small and overpriced!!! I will not be going there back again. I would rather go to another takeaway and eat some proper food where I can feel satisfied.

Probably most expensive chip shop out there in Leicester. £3.00 for a small chips. Good thing is they don’t charge extra for sauces and there chilli sauce is very very good. Apart from that there’s no more positives. Even though I was the only one in the shop I waited over 20mins for a portion of chips. And they were still raw.

being a man of sophistry myself, i have once associated with a lad called Paul. Furthermore, i have a business partner called Pablo (Spanish for Paul). Please do not mix this Pablo up with Escobar. Anyways, every Paul i have ever acquainted has been a great person. Although i have not met this Paul personally, I'm sure he is awesome. What i do know is that he makes some cracking fish and chips! Lois especially is a fan and we would love to meet you as a family, Paul.

the owners have lost the reputation this shop held 15+ years ago. chips are so horrible and soggy, they look so grey and depressing. fish is so unhealthy I feel sorry for it, being prepared and cooked in such a way. staff have no respect for customers and the customers have no respect for themselves by eating here. please don't do something for the sake of making money by overcharging small portions of death wrapped in paper. would you eat your own shop food? I bet you go down to omars and eat some proper donner meat and chips with the chilli and mayo. trust me man, your sausage ain't even proper and your pies ain't Pukka, they are ucker. fake pies with fake flavouring and questionable meat. I don't know why this place is still open. this place is a disgrace to fish and chip shops

Long wait for not very good food

This is the place to go if you like your traditional fish and chips. Portion sizes are generous and food is delicious. Equally Kebabs are fantastic (love the special doner). The tandoori & Gazebo chicken (My fav) are tender and flavorsome. All in all a great family run business. The food is always well prepared and the owners are courteous. service is second to none. If you haven't been, definitely worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.

For your authentic fish and chips this is the go to place. Amazing service, impeccable quality food and large variety with reasonable prices. The shop is absolutely spotless and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely choose a visit here over any other takeaway in the area.

Since the new owners took over the portion sizes have changed drastically, used to be you would get a regular fish that was 3 times larger than what I was given. The chips that came with it were warm rather than piping hot. Haven't been back recently, so they may have improved.

Having to collect the food is a bit of a hassle BUT the food is worth it. Food was steaming hot when I collected it as usual which is nice that they pay attention and get the order out perfectly. The biryani is definitely one of the best dishes, well all of the food I've tried so far is very good and tasty. Will order again.

Really!!! Everytime i go in there, husband n wife team make me wait 45 mins for my order.... Then its put in the warm tray waiting for rest of my order... where its gets soggy with the paper.... They need proper training which they dnt have a clue.... but at least food is freshly prepared & always pleases

The service was good however the food was okay I wouldn't recommend. Delivery time really slow over an hour wait!

Outstanding as always. Polite and courteous driver who apologised profusely and offered reimbursement because they did not have haddock and instead send cod, which was fine. We would not accept reimbursement because of the respect we have for this establishment. Many thanks and look forward to ordering from you again in the near future. I had some pretty rubbish fish and chips in my life so I was bracing myself... but this was lovely masha'Allah. Even the salad was not your usual take away one (2 leaves 2 chunk of onion 1 slab of tomato). It was delivered 20 minutes earlier than expected too. Barak Allahu feekum

Food was delivered on time as usual. I always order the donner in nan with fresh salad and great mint sauce. Very tasty chicken biryani with flavour in the rice not just the chicken pieces. Chips are still the best and the shish kebabs are very tasty too.
