Lahore Kebab Restaurant in Leicester

Was in Leicester last week - looked around and found Pakistani food. Excellant !

Delicious food and very friendly atmosphare

Needed a place to eat Halal but i couldnt have been more happier to find brothers from Lahore. Food was outstanding for me and they where polite, curtious and friendly towards me. Highly recommend and look forward to a return visit.

Food was yumm 😋 but very expensive Burger meal is £5 (drink not included). Kabab in naan was delicious .

I been eating here for 8years It's the only curry that I really enjoy Service and food are to very good

Absolutely appalling, the nan was ice cold and soggy because they flooded it with sauce. I said only a little sauce, even the chicken was cold! Will not be going here again. I had to throw the nan away and just about managed to eat the chicken because I didn't want to waste it. Also the paper was stuck to my nan. Overall it was disgusting! Waste of my money. I would give it no stars if I could!

Seekh kebabs are pre made at the start of the day and are simply warmed up when you order so not fresh at all or tender. Go to shahi nan on cath st or st saviours for fresh kebabs.

The worst food I’ve ever eaten food hygiene terrrible grill looked like a bbq that hasn’t had a wipe down in the last 5 year everything filthy don’t no y I eat it

Joke of a portion. Ripped off charged £9 for small amount of chicken breast.

This small, takeaway/restaurant is excellent for the food. Surroundings aren't great, seats average, cleanliness is OK, but the food makes up for the lot! It's the closest to proper home cooked Pakistani food you can get in Leicester. The naan are big, fluffy & light! I've eaten much of the menu over time, so go with anything, especially the lamb chops.

Yummy food in a cafe style setting, been going for years and the foods consistent and great value for money !

Food was amazing! Quick and fast service too. Do not judge this place by its looks. Chicken tikka in naan or lamb shish kebabs with his home made chilli sauce is highly revolutionary

Food is good but the service is terrible. Need to speak to customer properly and also acknowledge the people waiting to be served.

I gave this place 4 stars on my last visit as i was happy with service and food. On mt second visit it was the same so i did not change the review but now on ky 3rd visit, main management was not there to serve so i asked the chef if he can make me veg Biryani? He put something in microwave and gave dashed in a wok, moved it around for a bit then served asking for £7. Menu states £6 +50p for making it hot (was not hot at all) and then says 50p change for sitting in. Paying extra is bo problem but giving microwave food and small portion is not acceptable. Manager came in at the end saying he will sort it next time. I dont know if i should give them that opportunity. See photo of my £7 veg Biryani.

Staff are not at all polite. I got into a fight with one of the staff and he was really rude.worst restaurant ever!!

Had the sheesh kebabs were the best I have ever ttested

I ordered a chicken tikka masala and it wasn't even a chicken tikka masala it was very spicy and had onions in and stuff it wasn't very nice

I come from nuneaton and go to Lahore kebab for my curry, absolutely amazing curries and service is outstanding...

Surprisingly really good food. As a Indian really good spicy level and would try again.

Amazing place, very reasonably priced with amazing food.

The food was actually nice but the place itself is unhygienic and also the guy that served me was extremely rude & displayed shocking customer service skills! (Aftab) I ordered kebabs and I got a phone call from home saying can we order two less, I told Aftab this and his exact words were, ‘take them all or take none’. I thought he was trying to be funny but soon realised he was very serious. When I asked him if I could take the two off my order he started to shout in front of other people in the shop saying I’ve told you once, you can’t do that, you can’t say you want 10 and then tell me you want 8. I was shocked at how a anyone could speak in this manner!

Whenever you go here...The owner doesnt know how to talk to customers. Hes always rude. Never smiles. Its like hes depressed. They use to do the best Kebabs in leicester, Dont know what happened. Taste is changed. Naans are like paper. Its not like it use to be years ago.

Good quality food at reasonable price however attitude towards staff was not good.guy wearing white chef dress needs to be polite towards staff hes not very professional he needs to learn how to treat staff with respect.

If you know Ind0/ Pak food this is mediocer at best. The Sheek Kebab had bone fragments, so I have to have a crown placed at £400 as it chipped a tooth and too salty, The butter chicken well that was bland and the Balti lamb again way too salty and so much oil no wonder Asians have the higest heart attack rate.The Balti meat is from the shoulder, the cheapest cut and looks to be cooked in a pressure cooked before adding in the generic sauce. The actual protien is lacking. The naan is terribel probably the worst I have had. The salad is a joke. But at least it doesnt chip teeth and not laden with salt. CHops are very nice, but need to trim the fat off, and very expensive!

Had a Biryani and curry from here. Food is of high standard and tasty. However the owner could definitely smile more.

Fantastic food. Chicken tikka, lamb shish kebabs, lamb Balti, I only have takeaways but always top notch. Friendly owner and staff, naan bread always great. In fact I'm going out to get an order now.

It's ok better than an ordinary take away just lacking a bit

Cheap, good value for money, and really good food.

The food was delicious and reasonably prices. The staff were very friendly and the order arrived hot and as expected. We were a party of 20 and were all impressed with the level of service. We have been to other places in Leicester, Coventry, Birmingham, London and Bradford and consider this place to be the best tastiest food. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely go there again.

Poor quality, wrongly named food. They have no clue! what a Karahi is. They give you tandoori rootis and call them naans. Poor customer service, misquote prices on the menu and add hidden dine in charges. The table are so cramped that it feels like a chicken shed. Very Poor hygiene, no idea How the bathroom passed the hygiene inspections. The only thing good were the kebabs, and thats pretty much it! Else it is a disgrace to the Pakistani cuisine

Very reasonably priced and yummy hot food! Cafe style so don't expect frills but great authentic food!! Been coming for years, never disappoints!

The food here is amazing, its fresh, tasty and exactly what you need when you have limited time for lunch.

Good food, would recommend malai tikka.

Myself and my family of 14 pre booked a table for 14 and turned up on the day to be given a table of 8. We were then split up and could not sit together (which is insane). Management were not helpful and organised, there were many tables they could have put us on but they did not. We were then served awful cocktails and once the food came...we found ourselves at a loss. The chips were cold and the chicken was dry and chewy. We found this quite disgusting. We decided to give them another chance and order a takeaway, this again was highly disappointing, they do not follow a single instruction. We asked merely for salad and and then we given none. Surprise surprise!!!! 😒 we did not enjoy it full stop.

Best place for indian food top quality and polite service

Dont take your girlfriend here for date night. But if you want a nice decent curry this is good and decent. Its always been fresh and staff are friendly.

This place is on melton road, the place is small and is nothing fancy to speak of. Been to this a few times but of late, either a change of ownership has meant the food is not as good, the nan is a hit and miss affair, the chicken is not so tasty s it was before this supposed changeover. The burgers can take a while and are just box standard meals. You can eat in but like I said it is not a large establishment. Prices are okay, about 5-6 pounds for a large kebab.

Just had a chicken tikka in nan & enjoyed it so much. It has a nice charcoal flavour & garnished with fresh salad just right to fill you up & at £3.80 it's a great price, I recommend this place.

Not very nice food is never fresh. Their chips are retried from days before. Curries are ok. I wouldn't bother with this place.

One of my favourite lunch time places to eat. Fresh food, great taste. The guys on the grill know us now and the service is always friendly
