Was OK to be fair. First time I have been in ages.

The food so Yamii special the sauce ,, the stuff and owner very friendly 🫡🫡 jazakum Allah .. also there is prayer room ,,

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the manager who watched a young woman get assaulted by an older woman because she was a different type of Muslim….WTAF!!! The manager simply sat back and allowed this to happen despite the young woman’s cry’s for help! People like the older woman and the manager are so backwards they should be ashamed of themselves. I will be telling absolutely everyone about this! RESPONSE……. Claiming assault is laughable when a number of your patrons witnessed it! Your manager was made aware of the situation and he fobbed off the young couple. If someone had kicked off on the shop floor you would have asked them to leave yet you chose not to take any action against the older woman. After speaking with the young woman I was assured that she would be contacting the police. Quite frankly going by your response it clearly shows an utter lack of concern. Your response has made me even more determined to share this with the local community.

Lovely little place in the city centre, food was great.

No competition, Special Donner in naan meal is the best in Leicester... Always such good service and immaculate premises ☺️

Done in naan was freshly prepared and presented. meal deal was a good idea given when placed an order.

It was not a great experience There was a typical smell in the store It was too cold inside as the door kept on opening and closed really slowly Tried the masala fries but left almost half uneaten as it was not great It states McIndians, but there is nothing indian about it.

Absolutely horrendous place. Chicken looked and probably was out of date and was green on the inside. After asking for a refund they refused and instead of throwing it away they decided to try refrying it. Would not recommend at all. Will be calling health inspectors

Hi there, my daughter and I went to purchase our food, and unfortunately the chicken was green which was very bizarre. And my daughter ended up eating it, and now she has stomachache now. I will not be returning to this place again. I will not recommend it as well. Thanks.

Very bad service and bad food. Got 7 peri peri grilled chickens and they were horrendous. The chicken was GREEN from inside and the others were burnt. The staff were rude and did not want to accept their fault nor refund. When the chicken was returned, they started to grill the same food though it was half eaten by us?? Will be informing health inspectors with proof (pictures). DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

I have been a regular customer because i liked the food and nice and clean place. But i was very disappointed with the peri peri burger i ordered yesterday, it was very dry burnt chicken and no taste of peri peri or any sauce. When i took it back to show them they didnt even look and said oh it is peri peri, when u eat it you will know. I have eaten it before and i can tell even by looking if it was peri peri. So i was not very happy with food or customer service.

Much better value than your McD’s etc and simple Indian food served as fast food. I just love the idea of the place. The staff are lovely and the food is just what the doctor ordered. It’s now my ritual to always go there on any visit to the city centre.

Delicious, wholesome and affordable food. And has a prayer room upstairs. The food doesn't take long and is always very hot and stays so till your done eating even in this winter period.

Ordered from this place the other day the food is nice and so is the chai masala.

Place and food is clean, safe option i guess, masala fish is nice and the mini cheese burger is a good bite. Peri wrap taste nice but came half empty though, still a decent place for a quick bite.

Food was good however Would not recommend as they let a guy beg inside the shop and do not say a thing and the guy then sits and stares at you which makes you feel uncomfortable which is a shame as there food is ok

food was great but when i tried to raise an issue with staff they were a touch rude. i understand miscommunications happen and it might not be anyones fault but when people do try to communicate problems with staff its not nice to be met with rudeness

Been having their for many years. Quality is good. Staff are not so friendly. If you have takeaway they are tight with the amount of sauce sachets and give one serviatte.

Gross food and rude staff. Only decent menu item was the biryani. When the man got my order wrong, he called me a rude name in his own language thinking i wouldnt understand.

One of my favourite restaurant's in the city centre ❤❤. I love the Peri Peri Chicken in Pitta 🤘👌. Insha'Allah, I'm definitley coming once eating in opens again after lockdown. I can't wait 🙏🙏. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The prayer room is nice and clean. But it's very cold up there in the Namaaz room. They need to put some heating up there.

Decided to try this today masala fish with chips was great big potions not to expensive observed hygine which wss not great table were not cleaned or sprayed after someone ate in I think in this COVID 19 situation table should be keep clean and wipped down. I dont see me going back in the future.

Masala fish were nice, gazebo chicken & chicken tilka on naan was horrible horrible horrible never recommend...

Decent food here, I enjoy the masala fish and chips. They do burgers and chicken too, just depends what you want to eat.

Went there on Saturday couple weeks ago will not be going there again in hurry .Ordered chicken Half Peri Peri chicken had a smell of fish .was really disappointed with food also ordered chicken burger for my son it was very average to say the least

Having been a foodie for all my life I have experienced the best and the worst food places in my city, Leicester. I went to mcindians on a rainy day for the first time ever and from my first impressions it looked like a traditional takeaway with an Indian twist; who had a variety of options to choose from. I chosen to get a quarter pounder burger, which was dry, rubbery and tasteless. The burger had chilli sauce in which was quite strange because that didn’t add no flavour to the burger, the cheese on the burger was still in its original form and not melted so you could imagine how cold the burger was. Overall it was a unpleasant experience, how can someone mess up a burger, it’s pretty simple to provide a decent burger that doesn’t upset your stomach and give you the poops! Even though they have a variety of options to choose from I wouldn’t go back because the burger that I had was so simple to make yet really disgusting to eat. Finally their was one man in the shop who I’m guessing was the manager was being very rude to the female worker which was pretty sad to watch and embarrassing for the worker, he was being rude to her in public whilst she was cleaning the tray on the top floor and I believe that says a lot about the place itself, it’s not somewhere where you’d want to chill and enjoy a nice meal, when you have a man screaming at his worker in his own language which I understood. I wish people had more respect for people in this world.

Nice and clean, friendly Asian man behind the counter. Ordered a mixed box, which was chips, dinner kebab, chicken kebab and sauce. All arrived in a few minutes. Very tasty, I ate every last drop. I will go again.

Very disappointed with the food tonight. Went there just before they were about to close and ordered Donner and chips. I saw the guy put it into the microwave for a few minutes and I saw some chips that were already there when I walked in. God.knows how long they where there for. Nothing is fresh in this place. Anyway this is NOT the worst part. I found a big peice of hair in the salad and was instantly put off and did not finish my food. This is disgusting. It was a long hair as if it belonged to a women. Many times I've been there and there are only women staff cooking and serving so I'm assuming it belongs to one of them

great marketing and name, unfortunately the food doesn't live up to the promise "you have tried the cowboys....". Magic Flame and a few others places have much better food

Kind of a staple around these parts (Leicester city center) which might actually not be such a good thing for our waistlines. However, no denying that the food is good, staff are friendly, facilities are generally kept sanitary and they've got a couple of very convenient extras such as bathrooms and a prayer room!

Even it doesn't deserve to get one Star it made my day worse after half an hour I started vomiting I ordered doner it was like you eating rotten pasta and price was ripping of your pocket

Friday after. We decided to order the 1/2 Spicy Chicken with Biryani. The chicken tasted nice, and the biryani was good. Expected more Asian flavours on the biryani but couldn't complain. Their milkshake is underrated. Service was amazing, within 5 mins atleast.

This place in Leicester I found out by mistake as was shopping and was tired and hungry. Tried lamb Karahi and nan which was perfect. The place is very clean and they have an upstairs where you can sit and eat. Also toilet and having a prayer room so you can read your prayers. Separate part for women. Whenever I go back to Leicester. This for me us the place to eat. Jazakallah.

I will only leave a negative feedback when I really have to! It’s been a while since I had any meal from this place. Customer service was great but, food was NOT fresh. The chips were mixed old & new! Was too hard to eat! The chicken did not look or taste fresh. Still ate it as I did not want to waste it! I cannot recommend a place where they don’t care about the quality of food the put on your tray. I don’t think, I will be going there again. It’s Pointless.

The mcindians Leicester citycentre opposite Tescos express. The restaurant is well managed very clean toilets and dinning tables very presentable. Staff are professional experience and extremely efficient. I love curry food my favourite is lamb curry their curry is very tasty I dine there at least twice a week. Keep up the good work much appreciated.

Having used this place for years and never having much of problem I am so disapointed to say that I brought a half chicken peri meal and cut into my chicken to find it had started to grow mould. Whats even more dissapointing is the way the staff and management dealt with my complaint. I initailly called to let them know the issue and was met with an abrut tone and rudeness being told thier chicken is fresh! I was shouted out even tbough I advised I had pictures. I then went into the shop to show the pictures no one wanted to listen to me 1 staff member told me the green was properly from the salad unsure how salad grows out of a chicken breast and turns it green 🤔 I asked for the manager who was very argumentative and their only solution was to offer my more chicken whcih I declined! I asked for a refund which they say is not there policy and were just unwilling to listen I just hope no one gets sick in the future Needles to say I will not eat there again very poor and bad service!

Excellent food, good service, friendly environment,tasty food.

It has a good selection of wholesome food that is prepared quickly on the spot. Particularly like the fact they have Indian curries and freshly made naan, biryani, seekh kebab rolls etc to satiate the Asian tastebuds. Their piri piri chicken is also very tasty.

I always visit mcindian when ever I visit city center this time I have a bad expiriance staff are no good speaking iike they doing fevour to the customer charging more what ever price print on their menu when you ask cashier don't like giving anwer this menu is old, price is change long ago if price is chnge why they using old price menu to misguide I decide NO MORE GOING TO MC INDIAN

I've been eating at McIndians on odd occasions over the last 10-15 years. Spicy chicken with rice is very good. Excellent spicy sauce.

Came here with the Mrs on Tuesday lunch and got the Almond chicken pitta. Been of worknsince Wednesday now with food poisoning. It's the only thing differnt I have had from the Mrs on that day. Can't keep of the loo and now of work. Never going there again!

Literally just came from there - watching them microwave the chicken I asked for. Disgusting that they are serving a Muslim this kind of food in Ramadhan... and I’m supposed to eat this later for Eftar. Shame on you. I didn’t say anything to you because I was fasting.

I arrived at a busy time, the man serving at the counter was politely explaining to each person that there would be a wait before taking the orders. I decided I was ok with the wait. I have been visiting McIndians on and off for years and the food has always been good. Meat and fries arrive hot, salad fresh and crisp, sauces tasty. I usually drop my wrappers etc in the bin on the way out, but this time a guy pleasantly took my tray as soon as I got up to leave.

Poor customer service. One of the person serving the food in the kitchen was digging his nose and I kept looking for a while...with the same hand he was preparing the food. Also a customer complained that the doner kebab meat was burnt and returned it, took the refund and left and because of that there was a big fight going on in the kitchen. Horrible experience never going back!

Good Food. Great Prayer Room. Prices need investigating.

My food took 20 mins to come 1/4 pounder meal. When it finally came I asked for water but the guy didn’t understand. Also the burger was covered in so called relish which was clearly chilli when I asked is this spicy no it’s relish not chilli the guy was wrong but food was tastyish. Food aside the place is clean and it has prayer facilities and close to bus station so good for that reason.

Might be a bit expensive but you get what you pay for! Many things to choose from and very hygienic place. Staff are nice too. They are of two floors and you never have to struggle with toilets or missing your praying time they've got a mosque. I recommend this place over KFC!

Very expensive rice! My wife purchased a takeaway lamb biryani for dinner. I reheated and put on a plate. Lamb what lamb? I counted four large mutton bones with absolutely meat on it. It should be illegal to sell lamb when no lamb is actually used. If I had been at the restaurant and not at home I would have chucked it in their faces. Feel like I've been robbed, £5 for a carton of rice which wasn't anything to write home about. Once bitten twice shy!
