Chatime in Leicester

My go to place for bubble tea. Just the right amount of sweet and sourness in lemon black tea. It's a nice quiet place not close to the sports statue noisey end. Staff is polite and efficient. They can decorate the walls on the right, some lights perhaps. 4.5/5

I have been many times and had previously given chatime a 2 because of unfriendly behaviour from staff but unfortunately have had to reduce it to a one star. There’s a new blonde staff member who mumbles a lot and was incredibly rude, she got my order wrong and then insisted I was lying and did not give me my actual order. On top of that it’s not even extraordinary very average and overpriced. One thing I’ve noticed from the negative reviews is that the staff has a pattern of being rude to a specific demographic

I love that I can create my own unique drink with a variety of flavors and toppings. The ability to customize my order makes each visit exciting and different. The staff is always friendly and patient, helping me navigate through the extensive menu options. The quality of the drinks is consistently top-notch, and I appreciate the attention to detail in each concoction. Overall, it's a fun and delicious experience every time I stop by.

The new staff (the white lady) was extremely rude and was terrible at explaining the menu so we got our order wrong. When we asked about it she was so rude. Will never go back to the place until she’s replaced.

One of the best Brown Sugar Milk Bobas I have had, the brown sugar pearls are very flavourful. I ordered a large, half ice and extra pearls. Very refreshing and delicious, well priced. Super.

it was fun when i enter first as first when i enter i was thinking menu on the monitor but later i notice it was on the desk as well a kind of laugh then i try there signature cha drink it was yum i didn’t expect it will be that good will try agin new in future

Good bubble tea but the worst service , I was choosing my order and the server was there with a low attitude and kept saying “choose sugar and ice” when I was still deciding . He then told me to pay but the card reader wasn’t in reach of me and he didn’t even pick it up to make it more accessible.

They took my order wrong, and they have not even tried to fix this problem.

Decent for being a last resort when other places are shut as they stay open for quite some time Brown sugar milk tea and Taro milk tea is very nice [ best taro is from here ! ] I recently had the Matcha Milk Latte which was VERY dilute with less ice. After the milk and matcha layers had combined, without me drinking any the whole drink was a VERY pale green and tasted like pure milk with no matcha. I dont recommend the matcha from here at all - was very disappointed and it doesnt level up to the very competitive boba market in leicester The other flavours are decent tho and the actual tapioca pearls are really nice and juicy :)

Tea was very weak. I requested no ice and it had lots of ice. Felt drink was diluted with ice. Service was polite but won't be ordering again.

My girlfriend loves this place and has the brown sugar fresh milk. She says it reminds her of Hong Kong and its the best place for bubble tea in Leicester.

The coolers are great. I recommend the Lychee cooler and Passionfruit cooler.

I am a regular here and I can say that they consistently provide high quality teas that are tasty and satisfy my tapioca pearl cravings. The only issue I do have is that when I go as they open or just before they close, the tapioca pearls are hard, taste old and not as fresh. Staff don't really speak much with you and so there is virtually no customer service but they get the job done. Would be nice to see a bit of diversity among the workers.

They put less sugar when I selected no sugar!!! Now I have no bubble tea :(

Beautiful. First time ordering, I got the large lychee cooler, mango green tea, and soy milk tea. The fruit ones were amazing! Not sure about the brown sugar pearls tea.... Friendly and polite delivery driver, although he seemed a bit stressed bless him. I hope he learns how to enjoy his drives more :)

Usually good but today I observed that they had added about 1/5 cold water (it’s stated in mandarin that I understand) right after they finished making the drink because it didn’t fill up to the top. Turns out it made it so diluted, which it usually isn’t. Not sure why the deal is with that. Not cool.

the flavour is the best but the straws reek I don't recommend smelling the straws my brother got it so I don't know about the staff

The new flavour, Kamquat (Golden Mandarin) Lemon Cooler, Regular, is amazing!! And so is the chatime milk tea. I can’t wait to order from here again!!!

Please replace your wooden straws, the bubble does not go through, very bad experience but drinks are nice

Great bubble tea brand I remembered back in Hong Kong. Authentic bubble tea with great taste. I did not taste other choices but they looked good for others as well. Perfect for a drink after meals.

We went to Chatime for a bubble tea. I went for a lychee flavour one with tapioca pearl (my absolute favourite combo) and I really enjoyed it. It was a very hot day as well so it was very refreshing. They also did a discount on your first drink if you purchased the app :)!

I ordered from here yesterday and again it’s amazing

the boba was very chewy and nice. The mango popping boba was very flavoured and tasty. I will be ordering from here again.I ordered the chatime milk tea with less sugar, mango popping pearls and normal boba pearls.

Tastes like oil, coffee and sugar blended together 🤢 horrendous price for a horrendous drink, would warn people away from this place. There’s a bubble tea place opposite which is a lot nicer and less dear.

Always good service and drinks however this time I ordered kess ice and got more ice instead which I was unhappy about. Previous service has been great.

i ordered pearls and red beans in roasted milk tea, but they didn’t put any red beans in it

My order was not delivered. Something is wrong with the system. I placed my order around 8 p.m. and the order was scheduled to arrive at 8.45 p.m. but it didn’t, I had to resort to online chat to find out what the problem was. I had to chat with two people from Just Eat, Kenneth and Stella and finally decided to cancel my order after I realised that Chatime closes at 8.30 p.m. and my order still hasn’t arrived at 9.15 p.m. Stella agreed to send a request for refund and at 10 p.m. I am receiving an email confirming the delivery of my order. Kindly look into this matter and ensure that my refund is processed. Very disappointed.

the sugar level is incredibly high, even after staying for less sugar. the taste still remained very sweet and sickly. I also called for my delivery address to be changed and the delivery still went to the wrong address and the delivery driver wasn’t aware of the change.

We were hoping to see a bubble tea place in Leicester. Chatime has been a welcome addition. Loved it!
