Lovely clean Restuarant, the food is fantastic but i think they are getting a bit expensive... especially for their takeaways...used to give a discount but alas no more....all in all though a nice treat ! very good. Food lately seems very salty though.

Worst Indian I've been too literally, chicken tikka was dry and poppadoms tasted like washing up liquid , this takeaway was out of my way but hey I thought I'd give it a try as its been given 4.5 / 5. Well guess what you just get them all up in your face saying your a liar. Didn't appreciate that at all just wanted a simple refund but I got an argument.

I’ve loved this institution for many years & had many great meals there. Today though we ordered a chicken tikka masala which traditionally involves the meat being cooked over coals. Instead of that though they put a load of paprika in the curry which frankly resulted in neither an authentic or enjoyable element to an otherwise great meal.

We were staying in Coleshill and were recommended The Indian Lounge. When we arrived the place was packed, always a good sign. Three of us all enjoyed the food on offer and the friendly and helpful staff. Generous portions, great food and good prices make this a terrific Indian Restaurant.

I finally visited here after moving to the area a couple of years ago, and I wish I'd been before! It was one of the best meals I've had in a long time, and as good as any Indian / Bangladeshi meal I've ever had. The menu is huge with loads of specials I'd never seen before so it was pretty hard to choose. We had onion bhaji - crispy and light- naan bread - also clearly straight out of the oven. And the main chicken dish was packed with onions and peppers, and the aloo gobi, full of flavour and a perfect side dish. I got the impression the food is made from scratch, packed full of fresh ingredients and spices - not just the meat and sauce approach you sometimes get with bigger chain restaurants. The staff were really friendly, and prices very reasonable. A carafe of house wine for £8.50 and a bill of around £20 per person, you really can't complain! Can't wait to visit again to try some more of their dishes. Thanks guys!

Just want to say this is a fantastic restaurant. The food is good. The services excellent is so much fantastic service. All the staff is fantastic to the children the older generation and they always try and help with Big occasions and I’ll see they got a big five star rating, last Friday when I was in and then inspector said how fantastic it’s got
