Not your typical Chinese restaurant. They have a small mixed menu, mostly noodles. Food was okay but nothing impressive, ended up there as other local Chinese closes early for lunch. Menu can be confusing and communication with staff is challenging…

Very quick and delicious! The food arrived in less than 10 minutes. Great value for the price, very satisfied.

AWFUL. had hoped to come here for a cute meal with my friend however it had turned out the complete opposite. as walking up to the building we had seen the chefs smoking a cigarette out the front right next to the building which is very unprofessional. midway through eating our meals, we had then clocked on and realised that the blue gloves the chefs had been wearing to smoke a cigarette were the same gloves they were cooking in which is a MASSIVE health and safety bazaars. When entering the restaurant we had got seated to our table. the server was staring us down like a hawk and felt as if we were being heavily judged and watched. don’t want to make it sound like a race thing but considering we were the only white people in there and we’re the only ones being stared down by all the waitresses, seemed a bit bias. i had called the waitress over and had asked if she would be able to describe what each sauce tasted like due to her not knowing what they tasted like, the waitress has proceeded to describe them but in a very angry and annoyed tone. she had then rushed us when we were ordering. starters had came out, disappointed on the king tempura prawns, and the mains were brought out midway during we were eating our starters. when she had placed the mains down she had told us to move our starter places out of the way. in the end we had got one of the soup noodles taken off the bill due to none of it being eaten, however when asked to they had been awfully rude and disrespectful after. not 100% sure if it’s down to the language barrier, but when asking to take one of the meals off the bill multiple times, it felt as if they had purposely ignored us due i had tried my best to make it clear about 5 times to both staff members who had come over but they had proceeded to ask if we wanted to take it home. felt completely ignored and neglected. When coming over with the bill, mints and the printed receipt had been chucked and slammed on the table. we were paying separately one by card and one in cash, she had seemed very annoyed and angry at the fact i had asked for a meal to be taken off and when paying. overall i would not reccomend coming here at all, food was awful aswell as service, did not feel comfortable at all from arrival. will NOT be returning.

Even level 1 spice was so incredibly spicy that I couldn’t fully enjoy or finish my tom yum. Can’t imagine what 2 or 3 must be like. Other than that, the soup was delicious from what I could taste :’)

This place is an inspiration to others chinese/Asian restaurants trying to make it in the UK... it's authentic, delicious and affordable, the chefs actually care about the food they serve. I haven't ordered a starter for ages in other restaurants because of the price, I ordered two here and nearly a third (luckily I didn't because I was soo full by the end 😅), they were both cooked perfectly and had bags of flavour. I might eat at other restaurants once every few months, if that, but here I will be returning regularly and hope everybody else does too. Everything they are doing here is spot on and I could go on about it but just go and try for yourself 🙏

Was enjoying the food then to my horror two chefs aprons hats on smoking out the drink with blue plastic gloves still on. Food not ate. Left. Why on earth would you light a cigarette out the front with your plastic gloves still on…. I tell you why because you’re not going to charge them. It’s unhygienic I’ll pass on to council but they’re clueless to it as well. If your outside your “ Disposable “ gloves should be taken off and put in bin. Won’t use the place again and I’ll photo next time I see this. It’s wrong, against health and safety rules and disgusting

One of the best places in Leamington for tasty food at a decent price point

The food is v nice but the waitress awful. She refused to give us a extra cup with the tea for my little girl. We were regulars and have spent lots of money on the lovely food but we ll not be returning.

We were staying in Leamington Spa for the International Bowls event and walked past Wofon the first night. After a quick search on tripadvisor, we decided to try it, and hand on heart, one of the best food related decisions I've ever made. The service is very quick, the staff are very smiley and helpful (recommending dishes from the menu to us) and the food is first class, genuinely the best chinese food I've had on these shores. Price wise, this place blows most local food places out of the water, we had 2 starters, 2 main meals and 2 drinks........ £35. So So Impressed with the quality of food here, if it wasnt 330 miles away from here, I'd be back instantly!!

Had ordered Katzu Chicken with Rice. Absolutely delicious. They also added some broth/soup in my delivery bag, it was divine.

I had been meaning to go here for ages and it didn’t disappoint. Service was great and the staff were very helpful. I had the Wofon house special noodles, and Wowsers, it was delish! Can’t wait to go back again as all there dishes looked tasty. Great value too

Good food. Nice staff. Drinks and a main is under £15 together Definitely recommend getting a starter!! Such as the chilli salt wings Any issues the staff will always help you out. All the staff are great !! Recommend the prawn crackers for any dish you get. Theyre fresh and hot.

First time I thought my fault as chose a dish way too hot I sent it back. Although I make the same dish and it’s not that hot.? Starters were very greasy. As I was in Leamington I Thought I would try it again as a take away. I asked for non spicy so advised on what to have. I have just tried it and It is so bland I will have to cook it again adding more seasoning's . Not something you should need to do at home after buying take away food and if I was there it would have gone back again. I can cook better Chinese than what I have had here twice now.

Food is great 🔥 This place has the best Tom Yum Soup I have ever tried. With different levels of spicy (I like spicy) and full of flavour. I attached a picture of my Tom Yum Soup. It is so delicious that really makes you happy. The service is great and the attention is quick.

Great food and I go try to go often! All dishes are good but for me is FER, fried rice. The only down is in my opinion it was nicer when no soy sauce was added and it was white rice 🤤🤤🤤

Lovely tasting food, very authentic. Our greeter wasn’t the best, the rest of the staff were nice though. Portion sizes were large, I struggled to finish my rice. Best thing is pretty much all meals are £10 give or take a £. Starters are around £3-5. Drinks were reasonably priced too. They have a couple of beers or wine to choose from if you fancy an alcoholic beverage too. Overall a good experience but mainly because the food was so delicious.

Could have been better. I asked something with a bit of spice and ended up not eating the meal it was so spicy hot. I love spice but this was hotter than anything I had ever eaten. Maybe you may like this. But this was not for me. Service was ok but the waitress disappeared as soon as I had my food. Maybe the rest is ok and this was a one off but (pun not intended) it left a bad taste for me. I hope this is just me!

Good Asian food for a weekday night out, the prices are very good and the food is very tasty. The service can be slow and sometimes we have had issues with our orders, particularly with large groups, but the food is worth it, especially if you are looking for something casual and tasty food. Great value for money.

Took my children for a meal here. The surroundings are a bit utilitarian but this just adds to the authenticity. The menu is not massive but covers all tastes. The food was excellent and generous in portions. I had the duck salad to start which was very good, followed by thin rice noodles with roast pork and vegetables that was also excellent. My two had the crispy chicken wings and crispy fried chicken to start and then one had udon noodles with prawns and the other had rice with chicken in a very spicy sauce. All very good and three starters, three mains and drinks came to a fraction over £50. Excellent value for money. Will definitely go again.

Food was really good and value for money

Although the name is "Japanese style", the most attractive thing is the Hong Kong style taste. I ordered Hong Kong style curry beef brisket rice and scallion oil yakisoba, which are the same as those in Hong Kong. I’ve also tried Japanese coffee, rice, and ramen, which are also good. It would be perfect if you have Hong Kong style milk tea

Very high quality dishes despite the busy environment. Waited for more than 30mins, but it's totally understandable since it's lunar new year, and I tell you it's totally worth the wait! We ordered Tom Yum Soup noodles with roast duck. The soup brought me back to Thailand at once, so flavorful, right amount of spiciness and sourness, exactly the same as what I had in Thai. Lots of veg in there as well, all cooked perfectly! Another dish was stir fried noodles with Wonfon special toppings (highly recommend!). There's prawns, char siu (roast pork), chicken and beef (super tender), very generous amount, so good!!! The noodles were filled with wok-hei, very aromatic. I will really revisit this city just for this restraurant!!

On a overnight stay in Leamington Spa we decided to try Wofon noodles restaurant. Trust me and my other half have decided you will not find a better place to eat your noodles or rice. Starters are sublime. Mains are delicious. We ordered twice as much so we could take their delicious food home with us. My partner sat and watched our food being cooked in a spotless open kitchen. Whilst waiting we were given a glass of water each to drink, which was appreciated by us. On leaving our server, and all the people cooking said goodbye as we left. Support a family business rather than the bland expensive big franchises. Eat fresh cooked food. Thank you Wonfo for our delicious food, we will be back. 😁😁😁

Absolutely love this place! Authentic, cosy, and friendly! I visit every time I’m back from Hawaii or mainland US, visiting family, and it never disappoints. The food is amazing, the atmosphere great, and the staff very friendly. Love love love it!! (just make sure to order extra spicy, cos the spice levels are tailored for my fellow white folks). I highly recommend this place to any Asian/Hawaiian peeps that are wanting a taste of home.

Super delicious, irresistible! I ordered a Dong Yum Kung noodles with Wofon Special ingredients. It was another level above Thai style. Super hot and spicy. I just tried Level 1. Fresh food and the soup were great matching. Must try.

Fabulous find on a chilly Monday evening. We wanted a difficult off-menu request (bean sprouts, vegetarian and not spicy) and we were cooked a wonderful starter of gyozas followed by noodles with amazing vegetables and lots of bean sprouts in a very tasty sauce. A great formula - simple decoration, friendly staff, and quickly cooked food. Will definitely be returning again soon and will heartily recommend.

This is a great new addition to leamingtons restaurant scene, whilst only a small restaurant, its food is fantastic and a lot of choices to choose from, it gets very busy, and staff are going as quickly as they can, so please be patient if things are taking a little longer. Price are excellent, and suitable dor most budgets.

Nice food and service but nothing that special. The atmosphere is dark and loud as it's an open kitchen with large extractors which sound like they are on full blast all the time.

I love this place. I have been coming to Wofon for about four years now and it just gets better and better the current staff there are so friendly and polite the food it’s absolutely incredible and a bargain for the price. The best Hong Kong food in town! Can get quite busy but the food is worth the wait.

Instead of going to Wagamama, go to Wofon ! It is one of my favourite chinese places in Leamington. It is cheap and cheerful ! Most of the starters are under a fiver. I recommend the ribs and the pork cutlets. They have new dishes on their special board that are really good value. The pork with curry sauce is a winner!

Great value freshly cooked; we’ve always found the service prompt - even when busy The selection of little starter plates are delicious😍 Can be a bit cold inside when dining in during the winter but just bring a jacket - it’s not supposed to be fine dining! For as long as they let us in we’ll always keep coming back.

It’s rare these days to get such an excellent meal which combines quality, good value and a generous serving but that’s what we got at hofun. I had duck noodle soup on thin egg noodles and my wife had the Tom yum. My dish was very tasty, but next time I will have the Tom yum. It was packed with seafood, sweet tomatoes and fresh veg. The soup base had a lovely body with a sweet spicy depth. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to going back next time we visit.

A restaurant we used to use frequently before lockdown we visited yesterday with our grandchildren having told them how good it was we had recommended it before to our friends but last night the service was poor the food was awful having asked for a smaller portion for our granddaughter we were told we had to share an adult meal with no extra plate or cutlery was provided but not being used to order to this type of menu we would have liked some help but being busy we were wasting our time we will not recommended this restaurant again!

Authentic Hong Kong comfort food

We arrived in Leamington Spa for an afternoon visit and saw this place while looking for a parking space. My Yunnanese companion couldn’t wait to try it! The fried spring rolls were the best I’ve had anywhere; fresh, hot and delicious! We both had rice noodle soup - obviously, if you know Yunnanese cuisine - one seafood and one beef. Both excellent! Mine had plenty of seafood and her beef was tender and succulent. Apparently not as good as you’ll find in Yunnan but she still said it was very good, which is praise, indeed, from her. With two teas, the total came to £26.40, which was exceptional value. And the service was friendly and very quick. The place is Spartan but very clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommended.

Had salt & chilli ribs & tom yam soup seafood authentic Asian food with wonderful taste but lack in seafood shrimps were small just poor really fish would be nice in a seafood dish with more noodles to give the dish more texture good attempt, many thanks for your hospitality , I was preceded with a dirty class so I drank out of the can & had delivered a straw wich I decided, the chef was a bit over exuberance he took the roll of waiter

It a great little place to eat noodles.

Have been coming to this place for about 4++ years now. I can honestly say that they’ve been very consistent in their food, service, and price (although they’re a bit more than they used to be now but, for the quality of food they offer, it still feels cheap). I’m so glad to have them in Leam. So far the best Asian/Chinese/Noodle menu I’ve had, which is why I always go to them whenever I miss food from back home. If you haven’t tried them yet, you’re missing out!

Casual Asian reataurant/restaurant in Regent Grove. Food is really good value for money, while also very good quality. The service is fast and attentious, in spite of the ever so slight language barrier (which adds to the charm of the place, in my opinion). If you prefer substance over form, this is the place for you!

I'd been meaning to go here for about three years but have never got round to it. The simply and very reasonably priced menu of interesting but simple dishes attracted me. The place inside is the height of an aircraft hanger and interestingly decorated. The service was fast and efficient and the staff were very polite. A credit to the place. I expected, for the price, that the food would be average and the portions small. For starter I had tempura vegetables. Three onion rings and three other veg for £3.50. The BEST onion rings I've had anywhere by quite a way. Main course I had ramen noodles with king prawn and chefs sauce. The serving was much bigger than I thought (enough but not *too* much). I am sure I had about 8 prawns which is a lot for a dish that was £8.50. A few veg chucked in for balance and the sauce had a delicate flavour that made the noodles interesting without overpowering the juicy prawns. That lots with a cranberry juice was £14. I'm going back again for sure.

Nice little eatery, we've been here a few times and the staff are very friendly and greet you as you enter, they serve you quickly and the food comes quickly also. The food tastes very nice and the servers provide you with chop sticks but also offer you a fork. It is a little difficult to choose what you want if you don't know the different types of noodles but I'm sure if you asked the staff would explain for you.

Friendly staff and the food was great. Probably more authentic than your average Chinese restaurant; take your time working out the menu - you have to choose rice or noodles (various types), then a topping and finally a sauce. Prices are very reasonable. I only gave them a 4 star because the main course took a while, but it wasn't really anything to complain about.
