A very bad experience tonight. Paid cash. The girl said she thought I gave her 40. Very quick to put it in the till while saying she wasn't with it. Checked my wallet, left home with 80, paid by card at pump for fuel on way. 40 left. She was right. She even went on to say to another customer that she burned her salon tutors hair n that she will never know. Reason.... because she was annoying me. Says alot for honesty. Asked for a fork with order. Got to the middle of nowhere and went to eat, no fork. Wasted meal that I could only eat the ribs. 15 down for the meal. Plus 20 because the notes must have stuck together. 35 quid wasted! Will I go back? No way. I work on principles as well as taste.

If I was asked before covid what was the go to chinese in leamington or Warwick I would have 100% recommended the great Wall.. but the last 4 or 5 vista I have been disappointed every time .. a duck curry which was 65% blubber and skin..salt and pepper squid which was mainly veg and 8 pieces of cremated squid..an overcooked egg fu young.. I think that a lot of the food is bought in cooked and they mainly reheat..the list go's on... and the prices go up ... but the spring rolls are great. I hope they can improve ad it was a great take away

Was nice and hot...no complaints... and the girl serving was very pleasant and polite...

We ordered from here for the first time. The black bean sauce was very flavoursome, the plain chow mein was really good too! The salt and pepper chips had a kick to them and again had lots of flavour. The only bad thing was the crispy shredded chicken. The sauce was sour and the batter was soggy - not crispy at all. The chicken was inedible, chewy and like rubber - very cheap quality. As the ‘main’ of the meal it’s a shame this was left.

Food took a while to come, about 20 minutes but it was worth it, I ordered chicken chow mein which was nice and my wife ordered egg fried rice which was also nice. Would definitely recommend

We tried Great Wall after being disappointed by the customer service and portion sizes from Paw Paw and wish we had come across this place sooner. Our food was delicious and we will definitely be ordering from this place in future.

This is one of the best chinese food takaways I have been to. Very good proportions, food is great. Pancake rolls are exceptional. I moved recently 10 miles away from this takaway but i still go to here to get my food. Try it, i am sure you will not be disappointed.

We've been eating from Great Wall for several years now and they have never failed to make a brilliant takeaway. The dishes are generally good value for money and are delicious. A few of us have recently taken the plunge to go vegetarian and the options here are still lovely. Definitely our go-to for Chinese food!

I’m staying in Warwick on holiday and heard this is one of the best Chinese takeaways in the area. Had dinner from here last night and was very impressed and enjoyed everything that I ordered. I highly recommend

Eat food from there semi regularly. It’s ok. Average Chinese fare with standard choices found in a UK Chinese takeaway. They REALLY need to install chip and pin during these COVID times but they still only take cash.

First Class Delicious no more to say

I have a take out regularly from here, usually on a sunday. This Saturday 5 Oct I decided to have one. I usually have the same, Salt and Pepper King Prawn, Noodles with beansprouts, Salt and pepper Spare ribs. This week it as awful, beansprouts soaked in grease, prawns tasted awful, the only nice thing was the ribs. Perhaps a different chef but an awful meal. So disappointed as is my regular take out. Does put you of.

Bit of a hidden gem of a takeaway. Food is great. Only down side is they dont take cards.

2nd take away shop that I tried for Chinese meal and it was very good. Ordered Saturday night which I assume one of their busiest times but they could get my order ready in 20 minutes. They take cash only. I will definitely try again :-)

Food is lovely but if you are a person that doesnt like alot of veg in you beef in oyster sauce and you ask for no veg it will only come a quarter full in the dish which is absolutely shocking. Sorry to say wont buy from here again.

I’ve been using this place for a good while now. I can honestly say it’s the best in Warwick. Always great food and at a very reasonable price. The salt & pepper squid is fantastic.

If I want home delivery Chinese food always ordered from here. I've tried other local Chinese takeaways and they can't hold a candle to The Great Wall. There's a wide selection, first class service too. Highly recommended!

You can guarantee at least twice a month we order from here. Great portion sizes, quick delivery good is always hot. Having had a bad meal from them in 3 years .

Often found here, good service, home delivery if required, very good portions sizes and never had a bad meal - ever! Huge menu to choose from - and the staff are lovely too!

Have now had three visits to Great Wall. All meals have been good and tasty. Spring rolls a must. Will visit again soon.

No rice with curry because had chips so had to cook own when discovered no chips in bag why not just tell me because I don't know who has a curry with no rice. Watery curry and chewy beef 🥩 not best food after hard day. Not sure if I would com back again

Good food we’ve tried about 8 different dishes now. Glad to see the lastest owners kept the flavours consistent. Its a friendly place seems clean. Definitely give them a try.

Absolute slop sorry to say one star is a credit to what I just got sent 🤮chewy beef flavourless and all i requested was a beef curry extra onions dogg meat 😞

We love having a take a way from this Chinese. Never had one that isn't nice and would always recommend it to anyone. If you order spring roll you get two big ones which are totally mourish

We are overwhelmed with the Great Wall. Our first order tonight, struggled to find us as we live in new chase meadow. Not known on maps delivery driver struggled to find us the Great Wall had excellent communication we had a zero charge as it was a little late. The owners couldn’t apologise enough and also sent a fresh batch at zero charge. This was exceptional customer service and will definitely order again they went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met exceptional customer service and fab food (both lots lol) will definitely order again and highly recommended. Thank you so much Great Wall look forward to future orders now you know where we are :-)

Food can be nice on a good day but sometimes the food isn’t great.

Used to be excellent but last couple of months just got worse. Terrible I will be tacking my custom elsewhere tried to tell the they offered no alternative don't waste your money on these jokers.

Had a takeaway delivery. Prompt service. Portions were very generous and the food excellent. Would definitely use this service again

Great food and service is always good. Delivery is normally quick. I give it high rating as I use to work in a Chinese and this is the best Chinese takeaway in Warwick.

A word of caution! English is not their first language so you need to communicate clearly what you want! If you do that the food and service is excellent, and the price much more reasonable than some of the other places around the area! Ordered maybe 5 times in the past two months. Really happy with them every time I get food from this restaurant.

The Spring Roll, was big and meaty. I was impressed with the portion size and quality of the Chicken Fried Rice. Lovely tasty meal.

We ordered from here a half off duck and chicken fried rice and chicken balls when it came I had no duck but the wraps and and sladed, chicken balls and chicken fried rice but no duck I payed £25.30 and they only gave me back £15.00 I wouldn't recommend this to anyone form the area
