Exceptional tasting food and great service, would highly recommend this restaurant for experiencing Indian cuisine. Book prior to visiting the restaurant as it is packed.

A party of 6, we went for a family birthday on a Sunday evening, the restaurant was very busy. A good sign. The service was excellent and the food was some of the best we've had as far as Tandoori is concerd. Thoroughly recomment this restaurant and we will be back.

Our fav Indian in Leamington, I just wish they didn't reheat cooked chicken in their takeaways. Not only can't we reheat it the following day, it's often tough rather than tender as it is when fresh when eating in.

I had masala chips and nuggets the nuggets were pink and rubbery to eat I’m very disappointed my husband enjoyed his chicken biryani that’s why I gave it a 2 star also we had a takeaway order I threw all mine in the bin unfortunately

Possibly the best curry I have ever had (and I've had a lot). Two excellent starters, two excellent curries with rice and Naan. Good wine. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Also it was nice to see a woman in charge and as many waitresses as waiters in what is traditionally a male dominated business.

We didn't reserve a table when we visited this restaurant. The woman quickly set up a table for our group of five during a busy evening. Staff lacked the necessary knowledge to even take orders. Although the food was delicious, there were delays with ordering, clearing the table, and receiving the bill. The bartender politely offered free drinks, acknowledging the difficulty. We were sadly in a hurry and were unable to accept. Very strongly advised for food purposes only.

I recently visited Bombay Restaurant in Leamington Spa with my family. We were seated upstairs. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. The food was pathetic, although the service and seating were acceptable. We were hoping to enjoy some good Indian food, but two of our family members got severely sick after eating the butter chicken. They suffered from severe food poisoning, experiencing stomachaches, vomiting, and diarrhea after reaching home. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience, and I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Haven't been in this restaurant for a very long time, seems that they had a little revamp inside which is lovely. The food was tasty, and the portions were generous. Definitely would go back.

Named Bombay but don’t be fooled, there is nothing from Mumbai there. The FOH team I found to be very unfriendly, pushy about extras and generally unwelcoming. Upon asking for a table for two, we were greeted with a blank look and a five minutes wait while the waitress tried to speak to her manager about if we were allowed to dine (there were multiple empty tables). We were approached by three different waiters who immediately tried to push us with poppadoms and chutneys, even after we refused each time. But, once we were ready to order, we were left to wait for ten minutes. We overheard them discussing our table, and if they had asked for extras. The overall feeling was that, if we refused the extras they pushed on us, they would refuse us good service. The blatant discrimination of service between tables that accept every pushy sales tactic, and those that simply want a good meal is why I will never eat from this place again. They should be ashamed.

Delicious food, excellent service. I visited with a friend and we shared a couple of curries and a couple of different breads. The food was excellent, really tasty and fresh. The service was superb, we were very well looked after. I’ll definitely be back!

Having been to Millennium and Paprika in Leamington this sits between the two. Good food and good service but atmosphere and temperature were off for a Friday night. I would visit again when it’s warmer

I’ll keep it short and to the point. Two key points from 3/6/24 I do not want my food presented to me by a waiter chewing gum with an open mouth ( the same waiter, who previously, put further popadoms on our plate by hand. ) Further the same waiter when serving leaned across the table in the immediate space of guests to lay plates . Best practice is from the left of an the individual. I don’t want you in my body space! Not a good serving experience,albeit the staff are polite. Poor waiting etiquette.

Great food. Best in Leamington Spa However just had a takeaway and thought the mint sauce was stingy.Had three kebabs starters, chicken tikka main and chicken tandoori main. Only two small pots of mint sauce!!

Hi, I've jumped ship after being a paprika restaurant fan for some years whenever I'm in Leamington spa, but certain issues made me look elsewhere and I walked past and this place looked great from outside and busy busy a good sign, nicely decked, and unusual was mixed staff who were smiling and happy to serve, I like traditional music while I eat for the atmosphere, so my mate and his partner and me had a ruddy good meal no takeaway's after scoffed the lot! so leamontonians and visitors if you haven't tried get ya self along and enjoy.

Brilliant meal and exceptional service. Food quality was superb and presented exceptionally. Staff remembered us on our second visit and made us feel very welcome both times we visited.

Was looking forward to returning to the Bombay after being in Australia for 10years, and it certainly did not disappoint. Even though we arrived late, 10.45pm, the staff were very accommodating for our party of 4. Poppadom's and chutneys were amazing, naan bread was to die for , so soft and fluffy, and the peshwari came with its own little pot of honey. Flavours of the curry was awesome. Only wish they were in Australia, as would visit on a regular basis

We regularly have a take away meal this evening we tried Bombay leamington spa, Oh My Absolutely Amazing a outright winner best Indian meal ever, we had garlic chilli lamb bhuna , chicken shashlik, naan bread keema pilau rice Our meal was cooked beautifully, highly recommend. Thankyou Bombay.

First time venturing out away from Coventry for a curry...and before that Brick Lane when living in London... obviously given the good reputations of the two areas i thought potentially a sub standard curry to those i have enjoyed.... however none of that...was an amazing curry...only moan time to get the bill... leaving that aside very good

The poppadoms, lamb curry & tandoori mix we had with naan & rice were very nice, the lamb in the curry was tender as was most of the tandoori (lamb chop was tough!) The sauvignon blanc wine by the glass wasn’t very nice (we’ve had a better one by the bottle in the past but that’s c£33) We didn’t like the desserts we tried here last time so didn’t order any this time but some quality kulfi and gulab jamun would have been nice. This is our favourite curry place in the area at present but has room for improvement! The service we had was pleasant.

8 of us went yesterday for my birthday we could not fault anything, food was excellent and magnificently presented, staff were very attentive without being intrusive. Everyone in my party were totally satisfied and we all agreed it was the best food ever. Thank you Bombay for making my Birthday so special we will all be returning x

Food ok. Spoiled by rude staff. Younger waiting staff were fine, older guy (owner?) rude and made us feel like he was doing us a favour letting us pay to eat there. This was a family meal and my kids who are the most laid back you could find all commented how arrogant our waiter was. No smile, no thank you, completely successful personality bypass operation. Plenty of other Indian restaurants in Leam and we won't be eating there again

Bombay restaurant is one of the best restaurants I have visited in UK with the best lamb chops or meat platter. Restaurant staff are very friendly and Deepthi is the spot light in the restaurant who helped in explaining everything clearly about the dishes. Feels like this restaurant is underrated in between the Indian but any Indian who feels like having a best lamb or chicken can try this place.

Really surprised this place only has 4.3 stars, thought it would be higher. Exceptional service, amazing food, I can’t fault it every time I go! Best place for a curry in Leamington by far

The Bombay has been around for decades and it’s always been worth a visit. Our last meal was some time ago but realised what we’ve been missing after this evenings meal. The Restaurant itself is spotless and has a very upmarket feel , beautifully presented. The waiting staff are smart and courteous. Food was excellent , great quality and well presented, we had the King Prawn Korma and Aloo Gobi. Apparently the Restaurant has just won a National Award, which is clearly very well deserved.

We didn't book a table but the staff kindly organised one on a busy Friday night. The warm welcome and the modern decor were a great first impression. Food and service were excellent. All staff who spoke to us were polite and knowledgeable about the meals they were serving. The only negative for me was the choice of music. Playing some classical Indian music would really work well and complete the experience. I will definitely visit again and highly recommend others to give it a try.

Food was ok. Paneer Shashlik was good but quantity was less only 4 pieces. Garlic naan was ok in quality. Bombay special naan was good. Naga chicken curry (which was supposed to be spicy) was not even spicy. Condiments were chargeable but thankfully the waiter told us before ordering. Rest drinks were good. A little overpriced as per quality and quantity. If you like food with less spice, then I can recommend this. Otherwise Not recommended for authentic Indian food.

Nice quick service as we ordered a takeaway. Pricey but it was okay, wasn’t the best I’ve had. Few hours later my husband as gotten food poisoning, then I did shortly after. This was the only thing we had eaten pretty much all day. Would tell everyone to stay away from here.

What a find!! Not lived in Leamington since 2009 so lost touch with what's around. Was recommended here and so impressed. Top service, perfect ambience and decor, the best Indian food I've eaten ever when in Leamington. Will definitely return next time I'm in UK. 👍😍

Delicious food which is beautifully and tastefully presented. We booked a table for 2, our table was in quite a small space and there wasn’t too much room for manoeuvre. We had lots of passing human traffic as we were very close to the door, customers were in and out constantly to smoke and the staff were busy serving. Unfortunately the service was very rushed, as soon as I placed my cutlery down on the plate a waiter whisked it away and my partner was still eating his curry. Again, when he placed his cutlery down the same waiter appeared and took his plate despite him still having some food remaining in the serving dishes and some naan bread! We would return as the food is outstanding but only gave 4/5 as we were so rushed and didn’t get chance to contemplate if we were going to finish our remaining food.

My friend and I had booked a table at Bombay and had both travelled to Leamington especially as we had heard it’s meant to be so good. Arrived to be told they had no record of our booking. I was asked several times if I definitely called the right place to book…. Felt very condescending. Told flat out that they had no tables and were full. We offered to wait and order a drink until a table was available, it was still a blunt and non chalant no with barely an apology. We went next door to Kayal instead. Great atmosphere and food and we were made to feel very welcome immediately. Won’t be bothering with Bombay again.

We all had really good food served well in an enjoyable atmosphere. A very good night out and great food at good value. Very highly recommended.

15 mins wait before taking drinks order. Food was average and very rushed. Wanted to order coffee at end but was told quite rudely that we couldn't as they needed our table. This explains why our food was rushed. We complained and the very rude woman serving at bar told us the coffee machine was broke and we needed to go because they need table. She was so rude and tried her hardest to intimidate myself. We wil never use this restaurant again.

Astonishingly good. Lovely staff, perfect food, great ambience. Although the photos on this page need updating as I thought that I was reviewing the wrong place as some photos look dated whereas the new decor looks fabulous. I had a fishcake starter, superb. Followed by a Curry Thali. Astonishing. We've told so many people about it since returning home and look forward to dining here again in the future.

The food was brilliant, prices are great, service really really good, so attentive and welcoming. Lovely place to dine, went there for my mum’s 50th and as a surprise that we didn’t even ask for other than letting them know why we were attending for the reservation, a cake with a candle was brought out and it was just very sweet and a brilliant way to end the evening. Definitely a great place to enjoy a lovely hot dinner/celebration.

Visited as part of a biggish group, we were well looked after for drinks, food service was ok. Could have done without being leant over as rice was served on each plate on the opposite side of the table. Meal was tasty enough but certainly doesn't standout.

Drove from Rugby. It was well worth for the journey. Great people, tasty food with plentiful portions, good value for money.. what else one wants! We will be definitely back. Many thanks..

Worst experience I have ever had. I ordered dal makhni and they served me dal tarka with lots of cheese on the top. They didn’t apologises that they don’t know how to make dal makhni. Breads were undercooked and tasted horrible. I will never suggest this Indian restaurant. Customer service was very poor and they don’t know there dishes and couldn’t identify the difference between dal makhni and dal tarka. Staff didn’t care about customer as they are busy in talking with each others and having fun. Very very bad customer service and food. It’s an Bangladesh restaurant it’s not an Indian restaurant as they don’t know how to make dishes and can’t explain the customer about their dishes. Such a horrible experience today. Please don’t waste your money on this Indian restaurant.

Lovely meal last time we went. But this time was a disappointment. Felt rushed and my Chicken Tikka was full of raw onions Floor dangerously slippy when I walked to use the toilets.

We actually had a take away. Best food in a long while. Would definitely recommend it and would order again. Very good value for the money.

Visited on 25th October. Place was amazing and well set out and decorated beautifully. Service was excellent the girls were there to greet us take our coats and sit us down at the table. The food was amazing presented so well and good sized portions the dips with the poppadums were fresh and tasty and samosas and onion bhaji’s were excellent. All round our first visit to this restaurant was truly good with amazing staff excellent food and we can’t wait to book again with the rest of my family and friends.

From the moment you enter to stepping back out you are treated like a special guest. Food was superb with lots of extra touches and the sweets with the bill were a flourishing touch. I can see why they win best curry restaurant in the country. Definitely book ahead as it was busy even on a Tuesday night.

We visited on Friday night and had fantastic service and delicious food. I understand they are in the final for a national award, I hope they win - they deserve it.

We had garlic nans, tadka dal, madras veg curry and the Naga chicken signature dish. They were all good especially the last one.

One of the worst service experiences I have ever had. After having waited ages; despite having a booking, they seated another 4 customers on our table they were preparing, who had pushed past us after arriving late. Had to wait again for another table to free up, NO apologies or discount on the bill. Offered a round of drinks after we had finished, despite not once, asking how our meal was. My food was not cooked how it was requested, so very poor. Will never eat here again!!!

We ordered a takeaway Saturday 10th June and collected at 6.00pm. Restaurant looked lovely, staff well presented and welcoming. We looked forward to the meal, chicken jalfrezi, chicken tikka madras, pilau rice, nan and we were given complimentary poppadoms and dips. We didn't like the quality of the dips and neither of us enjoyed the tasteless meals which we had to bin. Maybe this was a one off, but very disappointing.

Messed up our takeaway last week, no problem mistakes happen. We collect again the following week and she apologises for the week before and hands me my order. We get home and they messed up our takeaway AGAIN! You would think she would actually double check?! Called up when we realised our popadoms were missing, she apologised. After checking further our vegetable sides were missing and our rice was the wrong type. Tried to ring up again as had enough and wanted to ask for a refund on the £10 of missing/wrong food items but they wouldn’t pick up the phone to me? Called 3 times and no answer on their main phone number? Absolutely ridiculous, never going back.

We went, last night, as a group of 7 - having booked. What a lovely place - so welcoming! Best curry (Jalfrezi) that I have had in a long time. My husband had Fish and said it was fantastic. Lovely bottle of Tempranillo also. Thank you.

Food was 5 star - best Indian I’ve tried in the area. Delivery was awful though, ordered on Uber Eats but they used their own driver who did not update delivery status. He then rang us twice because he couldn’t find us. As a result, it was delivered much later than it said it would be.
