Great good. Loved the Malai Kofta & Daal Tarka.

We went for a quick dinner around 9.10pm, and ordered quickly thinking the kitchen might close soon.. But was disappointed to get the dishes one by one and the last dish arriving about one hour later.. And very delayed service.. It was my second time here cz I liked the food the first tym. But was utterly disappointed with the service..

We have ordered Daal Makhani and Hara-Bhara Kabab both were tasty and delicious. I said mild spicy and it was perfectly less spicy which I liked most. First time we have ordered and chef cooked perfectly as per our demand. Definitely, will come soon.

I have been to this restaurant for my dinner. It was such a lovely and pleasant environment. Sitting arrangements, music and specially well organised system. Staffs were nice and respectful. Now the most important thing is food; which is too delicious and tasty. I ordered harabhara kabab and paneer tikka masala that was lovely. Overall I loved this place and I truly recommend this place for perfect meal treat!!

The team set up a nice table for us to cut our anniversary cake and even surprised us with complimentary dishes and some wine, which was a delightful gesture. The ambiance of the restaurant was superb, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. Convenient parking just behind the restaurant made the whole experience hassle-free, and the value for money was exceptional. We have no complaints.10/10! We had lunch with our friends over there. Ambience was top notch. We had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant. Staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was perfect, adding a personal touch to our visit. As for the food, it was absolutely fantastic. Dhal batti was so flavourful and yummy with perfect blend of species . Every dish was a treat, and I can’t wait to return for another unforgettable meal. Had a lovely meal at Social Adda. Nice family restaurant with a very friendly staff and tasty food. Their biryani is one of the best to be had in north west London. Worth trying the butter chicken and daal makhani.

We booked this venue for our Diwali party for around 70 people. It was spacious with an outdoor area and a dance floor. The DJ was okay, food was good and overall event was well managed. Will definitely book again for future events.

We had a Diwali get together of around 60 people. The venue is perfect in terms of space for a get together or any special occasion. There is a "dance floor" as well if you want to let your hair down. There were a fair amount of kids in our party and there was plenty space for them to run around and have a good time. We had pure vegetarian food and everyone loved the variety in flavours of the 3 course menu that was served. The staff was very kind and understanding of our needs and they served us well. We would definitely be back and would recommend it to our friends for any celebration.

We booked the whole space for a party. Great food, amazing service and fantastic atmosphere! The service was done with a smile, and very efficiently! The younger kids could safely play in the outside area and there was sufficient parking too. Definitely recommend for parties and social events.

We got the Chinese Sizzler, which I would recommend, the lamb Rogan Josh, which my wife loved in main. I could have easily skipped my desert. But the live music and dishes made with much love and perfection we had to complete with desert served. Everything was honestly delicious, and I can't wait to go back.

We went to Desi Hype for dinner on Friday 25th October 2024. We mostly had a nice time. The singer/DJ was brilliant and he played our requested songs. Five stars for the singer. The music was very entertaining. There was an issue with one of our dishes, but the Manager Sonu was happy to listen to my feedback, which was helpful and shows good customer service. They were a little short staffed, but they were apologetic about this and did their best. Overall, we had a nice time.

Do not come here, worst service I have ever seen in London.

Social Adda is just the place to celebrate, eat great food and enjoy fantastic music and dance. I took my Zumbollywood ladies there and Kunal the manager was so easy going as he gave us all outstanding hospitality and a night to remember. We were there on a Friday evening and they had a live singer who then did DJing. The music was fantastic with a spacious dance floor. The restaurant was really nice and the food and service was excellent. Kunal and his team did a fantastic job…..Highly recommend this place. Just a shame that the music stops at 10.30 although the bonus was that it started early at 8pm 😃

Very friendly service, clean, comfortable environment .Lovely food, very fresh and tasty, good portions. I am not a specialist but the best Indian food we have tried in the area. Definitely coming back and these guys are well recommended.

If you are looking for authentic Indian hyderabadi food this is the place to be, chicken dum biryani(it is really dum cooked unlike other restaurants who only market it that way) and chicken 65 is a must try, we also liked chicken majestic, butter chicken and chennai chicken. Good ambience too, it was recently renovated. Great service by Kunal, he was very friendly and a fantastic host!

I ordered garlic naan and veg kofta curry from Desi hype. The kofta was extremely less in quantity and the worst part is it had so much salt that I couldn't eat at all. Not worth the money

I ordered food from this place today and it wasn't as expected. The naan was cold, and the "chilli mogo" was just regular mogo with chilli. Additionally, the delivery driver just left the food outside and walked away. I will not be ordering from here anymore. I called the restaurant and the guy said he will call me back, but I still haven't received a call back.

The food has changed for the worse since the last time we ordered. The chicken tikka masala used to be so flavourful and spicy. Now it is just bland and tasteless.

They can learn from even surfing the web, Ordered food through Deliveroo, ordered methi chicken, it was in white gravy with sprinkle of methi! Never experienced that anywhere. Jeera chicken was not good either, very hard, very little flavor of Jeera.

The restaurant appears to have changed hands, the food is not even close to what it was last time I went. The paneer tikka masala is a little tart, and I ended up chewing on a massive piece of ginger, it used to be smooth creamy and on the sweet side last time I went. My wife seemed to like it but I preferred the old recipe. The egg biriyani - the egg had gone grey and rubbery which I think happens when you overcook it and it was quite bland. There are many more varieties however and my daughter had the sizzler which she said was really nice. No beers on tap, no cocktails/mocktails - I think they said that was because of restructuring but should have advised on booking IMHO.. Such a shame, used to be one of my favourites .

It's a hyped place with Bangladeshi typed food, worst food, worst taste and very expensive, felt really cheated after dining here, I bet even their chef won't be eating there.

I usually visit this restaurant every month before the taste was too good and now it's not even worth a penny I got to know from the staff that the chefs had been replaced I have even noticed the drop in service quality for a couple of months the staff were very helpful and attentive if I talk about 3 - 4 months back but now with the food even the service is lacking. I think there are more better options available than this restaurant. The bad experience that I had faced with food was biryani I ordered biryani twice and they sent me spicy and different taste biryani I don't know what has happened to their biryani for a couple of months. Extremely disappointed!

I was invited to my former company's Xmas lunch, and was anticipating an enjoyable meal after reading the many good reviews for this establishment. The restaurant provides a pleasant environment but was surprisingly lacking in custom when we visited just before Xmas. Perhaps Thursday lunchtimes are not busy. The food itself was decent, but the service was appalling. Our waiter clearly struggled to cope with our party of 14. He also appeared to have a problem understanding the orders. The food - when it arrived was actually quite decent but the serving was, at best, haphazard. Most of us got more or less what we ordered, but the waiter kept coming over to check our requirements. Everyone seemed to get their meals at different times and some of the party had finished eating by the time others were served their food. It was much the same with the drink orders. If a restaurant is unable to cope with a group booking it should just not accept them. The experience was most disappointing. Were I picking up the tab I would have insisted on a discount because the poor service detracted from what would have been a nice occasion.

The food which I ate 4 months ago was far more better than the recent dine in I did in this restaurant.

Amazing food quality and quantity both and the staff was very friendly and helpful especially Kunal the manager who looked after us so well.. Have been here few times recently and the new management is doing absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommend them, especially on Friday and Saturday they have live music, and Karoke nights...real fun...

My experience at Desi hype was great. My silver necklace had fallen down the sinks drain in the restroom. The staff took an extra effort to find it for us and give us the best possible service. The food was also delicious and the ambience made our evening perfect.

I have ordered take away Hyderabad dum biryani, staff said it’s available and ready to take order. After placing order they said it’s run out but they will give fried chicken biryani. Been told if I don’t like they return the money next visit. It doesn’t even like biryani, they mix curry and plain rice and gave it to me. Went back and told them unfortunately I didn’t see the same person and no receipt. Such a waste of time and money. End up ordering some where.

I have been to this restaurant few time food was good at the 1st few times but last time food test was not to good. Service was to poor.

First impressions on overall look of restaurant & menu list is, decent enough.The Menu "booklet" itself was worn & sticky to touch.Definitely needed to wash hands afterward touching it.The lavatory area was actually decent. The starters tasted as though had been pre-made & just re-warmed & served to us.Just warm rather than hot & an overcooked look about them!? Also found a hair in the paneer 🫤!! Heard a few good recommendations so thought we'd give it a try but left extremely disappointed.Service was mediocre ... not sure why the waiters weren't jolly/smiley 🤷🏽‍♀️. Not sure if I will return to this restaurant in a hurry,although I do believe in second chances so watch this space

The food is better than the majority of places l have tried in and around Harrow. The harabara kebabs were very dry and did not taste good. The rest of the veg options tasted good. We only had starters portions and they were a decent sized portions, and reasonably priced. Will try meat options next time. They were very accommodating, in separating the bills into four groups (we came as a group, but comprised of four families), as each family wanted to pay their own. They made one mistake and charged my friends item to us, but did offer to correct the bill. There is no real atmosphere, and feels almost non description, but the food was on the whole very nice. Good balance of meat and veg options. The only Indian restaurant that l have eaten at that did not cause any weird odours in the morning.
